Yunak in Wijk 01 West

Even though I went alone, I was able to sit at a table for four. The staff were friendly and attentive. This must be one of the best restaurants in Utrecht, at least. It's a shame I couldn't try a variety of dishes because I went alone.

Food was tasty. Fantastic Köfte and Adana. Would be great to accept credit cards as almost everywhere else in the Netherlands 😉

Perfect, perfect, perfect! I can't really say anything else. Everything is great, breakfast, dinner, especially the soups... especially that yogurt soup, I've never had such a good soup anywhere else. You really feel like you're in Turkey. Super friendly staff, so happy to see you there, so happy to see you there. The smiling faces are the most important thing, and so on! Rustic and delicious, in short, I love this place!🥰💖

A delicious place in Utrecht where you can enjoy stews, pide, and kebabs. It's 5-star in every way, but be careful when you go at night; there are groups of young people hanging around outside, trying to snatch items. The Greek soups are also excellent. Kudos to the chefs. A lot has changed in a year, I can't understand. The soup isn't pacha soup, but it's still delicious. I went with a friend around 8:00 PM and ordered the Greek-specific mixed kebab. The portion was small for the price and wasn't particularly tasty. I wonder if the waiter was tired from the day, but he was indifferent. We had to keep track of the orders ourselves. Unfortunately, I was embarrassed for my friend.

We had a delicious breakfast and excellent service from Meryem and Mucahit. We will definitely be back, thanks for everything.

Had a delicious soup with my husband here. What a nice friendly girl who works there. We also got nice tea and desserts from the house. Really recommended! Tasted Sutlac according to a 20 year old recipe. Really delicious! We will definitely come back here:)) We felt like we were in Turkey

On the way back from our family vacation, we stopped at Yunak in Utrecht – a real stroke of luck! We ate Etli Ekmek, Pide, Lahmacun, and Kumpir. Everything was fresh, delicious, and generously portioned, just right for our family of five, who had been out all day and needed a good meal before continuing our journey. The food was halal, which was convenient and suitable for us. Even our mother, who is vegetarian and allergic to butter, found plenty of suitable options and was able to eat with us without worry. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was clean and inviting. We hope this restaurant continues to develop and we'll be back!

Very little Turkish restaurant. Food was delicious. I tried Etli ekmek. However, the waiter was very annoying :/ He never smiled, speaks very quietly, not energetic. We felt like we are not wanted in this restaurant. I know he might had a bad day but in this kind of job, you can at least fake your smile to make customers feel better.

The baked potato and minced meat pita were delicious. We were very pleased and the staff was very attentive. But we asked for cola and got Sariyer cola, it was such a bad cola that it changed the taste of the food. It was like cola jelly beans flavored

I always went to Amsterdam (Havzan) to eat etli ekmek, but such a waste of the route I took every time. If you want to eat delicious etli ekmek, this is your address!!! Service is also super good. Very friendly people! Have a chat if possible (due to crowds), and we received a free bowl of soup to try. Paça çorba terribly delicious!

We had a reservation, but they gave our table to someone else. We waited for them to resolve the issue, but they couldn’t. Their customer service was disappointing—unprofessional and disorganized. Definitely not a place worth visiting.

We made a reservation for iftar during Ramadan, but when we arrived, there was no table for us! What a disgraceful and worthless establishment! I've never seen such mismanagement in my life. We won't give you our right, and hopefully, you'll go bankrupt as soon as possible!

The dough of the pita with meat was very good, but the meat was a little below my expectations. The atmosphere is like a restaurant in industrial places. You can go there, but it is not a place worth visiting.

Very nice family atmosphere, it really felt like home. Service was great, food came quickly and it was really delicious!! The pide and chicken soup in particular are my favorites. This will be my new favorite restaurant.

Ordered 3 dishes. Tavuk sis (chicken skewers); meat is rock hard dry. Mixed grill is tasteless, lack of spices. Potato slices that you get with the dishes were extremely salty. Service is crap. Not again for us, absolutely not recommended.

Yunak Restaurant is truly a hidden gem! The food is delicious, fresh and perfectly seasoned. The Turkish dishes are authentic and prepared with lots of love. The mezze and grilled meat dishes in particular are highly recommended. The atmosphere in the restaurant is warm and cozy, and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. They make you feel right at home.

The food was very tasty, but the atmosphere left something to be desired. Heating should certainly not be missing in the cold winter months As for the prices: they are really ridiculously high. It would be better if they charged more normal market prices.

Utrehct center is located very close to the train. The food was perfect, just like mother's food. The longing for soup and juicy food for days ended with this place. I will definitely stop by every time I come...

We bought two types of pita and a kebab wrap. Since there was no place to park, we placed the order, picked it up and continued. If we wanted to sit down, there wasn't much seating available anyway, but the food was very good, even though we ate it packaged.

I've been coming here a few times a month for a few years. Always tasty and pleasant. Nowadays they have those disposable plates, which is a bit of a shame, because it looks more like a fast food joint. Hopefully the normal signs will return ;) Still worth a visit.

Best kumpir and pide!! Edit 2024 I've been coming here for years and it has changed a lot. The soup was watery. Large mezze menu was sparse and you don't get Turkish bread (you expect it for 19.50). Measly feta salad without dressing.

Their pitas are delicious, but I can't say the same for kebabs. Customer service is very mediocre. We sat at the table and even though there were no customers, they came to take our order 10 minutes later when I called. There is zero interest in your customer.

I had a breakfast buffet with my wife. The price and portion are not in proportion. The small portions were not enough as I had indicated to the employee. Due to the small portions I had to order more. It cost me almost 50 euros! For 30 euros you can have an all you can eat breakfast nearby.

We happened to be in Utrecht, I searched for a Turkish restaurant and we came across Yunak. We ordered 2 kumpir, 1 pizza and 1 portion of rice. The potato from the kumpir was still edible, but the sauce was not really, pizza was really bad, too greasy and way too much cheese. The tastiest was rice. I paid 44 euros, which I think is still very pricey for what you get. In my opinion, 4.4 stars from Google is certainly not worth it. In my opinion 2 stars and maximum 3.

I had simit bread with tea, the taste was amazing and the taste of Turkish tea was delicious. The employee woman serving was very friendly and smiling while working and the interaction was great and this deserves thanks.

They have pitas with crispy dough. We really loved the dough. The minced meat could have had a little more minced meat.

I came here for iftar (Ramadan dinner) and the food was incredibly tasty. Meat tasted incredibly good, everything was served immediately when we were allowed to break our fast, bottles of water, fruit and dates were already ready. The rest of dinner arrived in no time. The service is therefore very good. The waitresses are also very hospitable and do everything they can to satisfy the guests. I sometimes eat here outside of Ramadan and even then the food, atmosphere and service are really a 10! If I could I would eat here every day. Highly recommended
