Delicious currant bun eaten at van aloon's Gebakkraam. The currant (oil) bun was just baked and still nice and warm from the hot oil. The bun was delivered generously sugared on a napkin and this was consumed locally immediately. The bun is tasty but not special enough for 5 stars. The buns themselves were baked a lot and I missed something, I think a sour one in it. In any case delicious and the price is reasonable: 1 euro 20.

Wardhof 10Picked up several pastries today. An eggnog pastry that didn't taste like eggnog. A banana puff pastry that didn't contain any banana and didn't taste like it either. When the bakery was still Tietema, the pastries were always delicious. A tip for the baker to put in what the name suggests. Otherwise, excellent service from familiar faces from the previous bakery.
