We were able to choose a good menu via Social Deal. The food was amazing! Delicious in terms of spices and flavor, and the staff was fantastic! These people deserve the best in my opinion! 10/5 stars from us! We will most definitely be back! Thank you for the delicious food!

Very poor service. We had made a reservation for 7:00 PM, but upon arrival, they knew nothing about it and our reservation was suddenly set for 8:00 PM. After that, we had to wait a long time and couldn't get a seat at our desired table, even though the restaurant was almost empty and many tables were still dirty. Very disappointing!

I have a reservation for 5:30 PM today. I stand at the door, only to find the place closed. I see in my spam folder that they sent me a cancellation at 4:30 PM and that I can call for further questions. I called, but of course, this number isn't answered either. Very poor!

We were told by email that we needed to get in touch because it had been cancelled. You should have at least called. Unfortunately, we couldn't reach anyone, and on the website we were able to make a new reservation for the day and time we had originally booked. It is scandalous that no one was reachable!

I made a reservation yesterday for 8:30 PM (online reservation). Upon arrival, we were rudely asked to leave because the chef had apparently finished early. The employee couldn't even explain why they were closing early, and offered no apology. Terrible service; I will never come here again.

I've ordered a number of rimes before at Veera's and jave never been disappointed by the food taste or portions. Therr had been some delays in picking it up but this time it was ready within 5 minutes of my arrival and the agreed pickup time as promised by the boss. The curries were tasty, portions large enough, and side complements like sauces, dips and yoghurt were more than sufficient. No hesitation to recommend Veera's as one of the better Indian restaurants in Eindhoven.

We had a wonderful meal at Veera in Eindhoven. Even though there was only one waitress and one cook present, she did her absolute best and remained friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, not everything on the menu was available, but what we did eat was very tasty. The manager mentioned that it is currently very difficult to find enough staff. That was noticeable, but the team that was there did everything they could to ensure we had a lovely evening. Compliments on their efforts and the delicious food!

Unfortunately, the prices on the bill differ from the prices on the card.

I eat Indian food often and have eaten at many places, but this is by far the worst!! Ordered Chicken Biryani etc., the rice is still hard and completely tasteless. And the waiting time is a nightmare too!! Communication is also a problem; they just lie to you when you ask if it will take much longer.

Booked via Social Deal, paid, and reserved for 5 PM. We stood in front of a closed door, which said "closed due to vacation." It is scandalous that you do this.

We were really excited to try out a new Indian restaurant via Social deal but unfortunately the food was a big miss. We both ended up with upset stomachs after eating here so I don’t recommend. Everything that was from the tandoor was extremely oily. Not shown in photograph but we ordered Panner Tikka Sizzler and it came out with a pool of butter in the plate. Same with the mushrooms. Veg Korma and dessert was nice but the rest was really not up to par. Service was great too, there weren’t many people at the restaurant so they made sure to double check our order and things came out quickly. Overall, we paid 50 via social deal and then another 20 at the restaurant (there was a 5 euro tandoor fee we were not told about before hand??). 70 euros seems fine for the quantity of the food but most definitely not the quality. Unfortunately we wont be returning to this place.

If u r coming to have authentic Indian, then this is not the place, service is quite slow and taste is quite close to Dutch food

⭐⭐☆☆☆ We had visited Veera a few times about a year ago and had good experiences, so we decided to come back. Unfortunately, this visit was quite disappointing. The drinks were good and enjoyable. However, the Veg Platter was not presented well. Everything seemed mixed together on a small plate, making it difficult to identify the different items. The overall presentation looked messy and unappealing. For the main course, we ordered Kashmiri Dum Aloo, but it looked and tasted more like a simple potato curry. It was not even close to the authentic Kashmiri Dum Aloo we were expecting. To finish, we ordered Kulfi, but it was served on a broken plate, which was surprising and not acceptable from a customer service perspective. Overall, this visit was a letdown compared to our previous experiences. I hope the restaurant pays more attention to food presentation, authenticity, and basic serving standards in the future.

The food was super delicious, and the person was really super sweet. Definitely worth repeating.

We had a nice meal at Veera. We have often been to Indian restaurants in Spain and wanted to try it in the Netherlands for a change. We ate here via Social Deal, and even then it is still affordable. I find €25.50 for a curry à la carte excessively high. The service is mediocre. We are mostly addressed in English, and you order everything via a tablet, which makes it impersonal.

Super delicious food Very friendly service

It was fine; the curry was incredibly tasty but very little for the price. The desserts were a bit disappointing, especially the ice cream. We were supposed to get 3 scoops but only received 1, and none of the mentioned flavors. Also, a forgotten iced tea. But it was fine.

In my opinion, a restaurant isn't a restaurant if it relies on home delivery and Uber Eats. The staff are friendly, but otherwise, it's not worth eating here. If you want to give it a try, it's better to just order from home.

We were here yesterday with 10 people. We arrived after 8:00, and the moment we sat down, we were told the kitchen was closing — just as we were taking our seats. After placing our order, it turned out that several dishes were no longer available. What we eventually received was disappointing: the food was served cold and looked like leftovers that had been quickly put on bread. The service also left much to be desired. We had to ask for drinks multiple times (sometimes as many as 5 times) before we received anything. Additionally, 3 of the 10 people became ill after the meal, which is naturally very concerning. All in all, a very bad experience — we absolutely do not recommend this place.

The food was delicious, but the restaurant was incredibly cold. It seemed like a door was open; if you mentioned it, they said it was climate control. Definitely not. But if you mention that what you ordered isn't that, but just mango ice cream... that you say that to two people and they both say different things, then I don't believe either of them anymore. The man who made jokes all evening and at the end just made fun of my sister and said to a customer, "Are you complaining just for the sake of complaining?" doesn't get a single star from me. What a jerk. It's really not nice how he treats customers. Tables are cleared very late and aren't even wiped down. We sat there from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM and the table next to us was already gone by 8:30 PM. It wasn't cleared until around 10:00 PM and we didn't even see them wipe it down. That's really unacceptable. It wasn't even busy by then. We had already paid a considerable price for Social Deal, and on top of that, I had to pay an additional €72.99 there. No, I advise against going here. Nice place, too bad about that one man. Because the lady in question was very attentive.

To good to go takeout started at 20:30. I arrived just after 21:00. Waited half an hour to collect my to good to go. Paid 7 euros for a box with rice and a couple pieces of dry chicken. Upon arrival staff was more interested in doing the dishes than helping me, rude. This was a borderline scam

On Sunday, March 22nd, I ordered food for nearly 60 euros. The food hasn't been delivered. I called the restaurant at least three times to ask where it was. They said it was on its way. Now, five days later, we haven't received any food, but we have paid, and the worst part is we aren't getting our money back. How bad can it get?

This was our favorite restaurant for special occasions, birthdays, and life milestones. Two years ago, the restaurant was great, the tablet was interesting, but we were a bit confused about where the restaurant service was. Now, we went for Valentine's Day, and we had high expectations for the quality of the food, the atmosphere, and the customer service. However, this was the worst experience. "Your table is upstairs"—thank you, is it the table that needs cleaning or the one with some kind of welcome starter? We weren't assigned; only our table was upstairs. Furthermore, we stayed because the owner apologized for how the evening had started, but that was the first crack in our trust. Then there was the food. We know what quality Veera can deliver. The Butter Chicken—sorry, but it was bland, almost no flavor or love put into it. I know it has a creamy flavor, sweet and creamy, but that was nowhere to be found. Then the other order, the Chicken Madras, tasted like chicken with sambal, and again, it didn't taste very good. We used to be able to eat absolutely anything without any problems, and we were quite full. And we really enjoyed ourselves. But this time we couldn't finish it all; we even went home with a stomach that was churning and turning. So our Valentine's Day was a complete disaster, and the next morning you can still feel the weight of the night before. I don't know what happened, but I think we probably won't be back. Where we could have gone for a cozy evening with really good food, it's now come to this. Sad to see.

Worst experience I had yesterday. Food quality was low.

We had made a reservation online in advance, but upon arrival, there was some doubt about whether there was still room. The service was very slow. Unfortunately, we also ordered an appetizer, only to be told it was out of stock. Kulfi is described as nutty with a cardamom flavor, but we actually received the mango variety. The photo and description didn't match. We pointed this out, and despite this, they insisted that this was indeed the kulfi described on the menu. Delicious butter chicken.

I went twice and the second time was last week. The food was pathetic, full of red color and oil. We dint like even a single time. Hence specifically sharing the review.

The food is truly delicious! But you get so little meat/fish, etc., compared to the (high) price. It's more sauce than anything else. A year or a year and a half ago, this was different. It's a shame, because I prefer to order elsewhere.

This was my first time eating Indian food, and it was truly delicious. The flavors were new to me, and everything tasted delicious. The restaurant is cozy, and the food is definitely recommended. However, I found the atmosphere a bit unusual: there was no background music, which made it very quiet. You could literally hear conversations from other tables, which made it a bit awkward. I would recommend putting on some soft background music. That would really enhance the atmosphere. Otherwise, it was a pleasant experience and the food was delicious.

We were able to eat cheaply thanks to a social deal. It was incredibly well done! The food was delicious and exceeded our expectations. The service was excellent; the only downside was that we didn't get clean glasses with our new drinks, but the delicious food more than made up for it! You'll definitely see me here again.

Nothing was done about the comment on my reservation. They couldn't reach me by phone either. As a result, we had to pay the full price on the spot, instead of the promotional price. It was also very cold inside. This is a shame, because I normally enjoy coming here for the delicious food.

Mixed Starter Vega is highly recommendable- tasty, various ingredients in it. If you like okra and spicy food, make sure you order their Okra Bhaji-a rice killer. The restaurant is spacious and has good A/C. We actually like their remote-welcoming service so we tipped our waitress. Ps:Revisited in November 2025. Helaas, the flavor and quality are both going down. Won’t go again.

Very tasty food and good service

We ate here today. The food was excellent. The main course had far too little meat and a lot of sauce. Only four pieces of meat per dish. The service was truly poor. We had a starter and didn't come to pick it up. They brought the main course and actually wanted to put it on the table on top of the starter dishes. I stacked it myself so it could be placed on the table (a table for two). They had already passed by a few times but simply left the empty plates and bowls there. There was hardly anything to do. We were very disappointed.

Had a booking for 10. We turned up on time and no one greeted us upon arrival. After finding a staff member our table was pointed out rather than being taken to it. No one bothered to explain the ordering system of using a tablet on the table which is really not suitable for a party of 10 as you scroll through the various meal options and headings. This is pretty tedious for one person, but sharing with 10 people is near on impossible. We thought we had ordered 10 drinks (all the same) and had the tablet confirm this. After sitting there for 33 minutes with no contact from the staff we walked out and went to the nearby Thai restaurant who could not have been more helpful. Also remember that this is an expensive restaurant, you expect a level of service. I have no idea how good the food is as we never got that far.

We hadn't booked for two and were given a back seat by the window where the heater had been removed/disassembled, which was quite cold there. There was plenty of room when we were there. We weren't familiar with the concept of ordering everything via a tablet. We were shown a table, and then we were left to figure it out for ourselves. No explanation, no greeting, no appetizing food, very impersonal and cold. This was true for everyone we interacted with.

Been here for the 1st time with family. The service staff were just mechanical and not so attentive. After waiting for nearly 20 mins, we had to ask for the menu tablet ourselves. The starters were bit too salty and not well cooked. The briyani was ok'ish... Couldnt really accept to call it a briyani compared to an authentic Indian briyani. Worst part is after few bites, I had to rush to the restroom with an upset stomach. I must appreciate the delicious home made brownie with icecream.. Thanks for the experience!

I’ve always loved the food and ambience here, and we've ordered many times for home delivery because of that. However, today’s experience at the restaurant was disappointing and unacceptable. After having smiles exchanged at the entrace with the reception staff at, I took a seat (as I’ve done on previous visits). No one approached with a tablet to take the order, so I asked for one myself. Instead of helping, a staff member questioned why I hadn’t asked the reception for permission to sit — despite the restaurant being mostly empty and me sitting right in front of them. To make it worse, I was asked if I had a reservation, while a white customer who came in after me was not. The tone was rude, the behavior unnecessary, and the attitude dismissive. We left immediately. One rude staff member ruined what was supposed to be a happy family outing. I’ve never written a review before, but this experience deserved one.

27 Sept 6 PM. Unfortunately this is my 10th + visit at the restaurant. Though this time i walked away with my family and toddler agter taking a table as the conduct of the staff is not good for the first time. We just asked for the tab and the response we recieved is "how would we know you are here". We just requested the tab at the counter. Didn't say you haven't attended us!. Nevertheless, 10/10 as always to the chefs and we will visit again. Not this time though!!!

Picked up through a social deal. Veggie/chicken dish. Lots of rice and only two other dishes. Very high in carbohydrates (rice, naan, potatoes) and unfortunately few vegetables. The flavor was generally okay but bland, and no fresh herbs were used anywhere. The mango lassi was very tasty, though!

Went to Veera tonight after booking a reservation, we walked out after 20 mins of not receiving any attention or even a drink. Terrible service. No music or ambience upon arrival. This place has seriously gone downhill since it first opened.

We ordered bhindi masala, Dal makhani, chicken tikka masala and mango lassi..... Bhindi masala was exceptional I have not eaten bhindi masala like this before.... Almost in every restaurant we had mango lassi but here the lassi is best. Chicken tikka masala can be improved taste wise... The overall experience was good... We sat in the back garden with dim lights under the sky with family and the food came very hot... And bhindi masala and lassi just nailed it...

Good food, good taste. For the main courses you can choose between mild or spicy, so everyone can eat it, even if you don't like spicy. I am used to Inda de Hooge hospitality and the excellent service, but I really missed that here. They work with a tablet to order, so someone only comes to your table to bring you food or drinks. I personally think this is a shame. That is why the service does not get 5 stars. A chat with explanation and occasionally asking if everything is to your liking would already make a difference of one star. A nice concept is that if you reserve via their website and you come to eat early, you get a discount. So if you have no problem eating on time, I would definitely choose that. The decoration is neat, but it still lacks a bit of atmosphere due to the large windows and high ceiling. If something is done with this, this could become a very cozy restaurant.

We love Indian cuisine and had not been here yet. The food is delicious, fresh, many different flavors, friendly service and, if even the Indians eat here then you know you are in good hands. Lastly, you don't have to leave it for the price. We will definitely come back here.

The ambience is good but the prices of the dishes don't do justice to quantity and quality/taste of food. Tried both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes but the flavour was only sub-par. Kerala prawns did not have any Kerala style flavours: curry leaves, coconut, shallots etc were all missing. Cocktails were interesting, Indian Mule highly recommend.

Dear, We ate here yesterday, drove all the way from Rotterdam. We called politely to say we would be 30 minutes late. We were immediately told that the kitchen closes at 9pm! When we finally arrived, we were immediately stared at by the staff to order via an iPad, nothing personal. When you have questions about the arrival of the food, you are stared at askance by the staff. There were still 4 tables in the restaurant, at 9:30 the music is turned off and you are stared at by the staff. At around 10pm, the staff comes by to tell us that the bar is closing for drinks. While we are sitting at the table and eating, they ask if we have finished eating, then at 10:30 the staff comes to ask if we can already pay because they have to count the cash register. This while the restaurant normally does not close until 11pm. Then you are stared at with a look of, 'when are you leaving'. This was a bad restaurant choice for us in any case! We ended up having coffee somewhere else. The customer is king, but not here!

If you like real authentic Indian food then you are at the right place! The food is delicious, lovely quiet atmosphere, where you can sit and talk and enjoy the food. Friendly staff! I wouldn't mind coming here more often!

Food is tasty, the rest really bizarrely bad. For 2 people the quantity disappoints me: with 2 adults and 2 children (2 and 4) it is not enough. But especially the service is really inadequate: 4 hours in advance you have to give the order and pick-up time but then the food is ready 75 minutes later than requested. Not to be repeated unfortunately, there are much better Indian restaurants in Eindhoven.

Dinner was a gift via Social Deal. Typical modern atmosphere, you have to like that. Not Indian. Food tasty and quite spicy, but you can expect that. Was a lot. Got what was left in boxes (thanks to that suggestion in review!). Service English except for one girl. Restaurant practically next to more traditional Indian restaurant.

never again for me!!! At the request of my girlfriend we went to eat in this restaurant. In addition, according to sources it turned out that the meat was Halal. Unfortunately, you can't find anywhere on the basis of a certificate that it is actually halal. To place your order, you have to do it via a device. You don't get an explanation of how it works and possibly where you can find your order. After a long wait, someone finally came to help and explain this. Once ordered, we got a small bowl of rice with two main courses. At our request, the bowl of rice was refilled. When we started drinking coffee and tea, we unexpectedly got a bill shoved in front of us. and the excuse was used that we had asked for the bill ourselves via device. Once I decided to pay, I came home to discover that more had been charged than what I saw on the receipt. Unfortunately, when I got home, not only was the receipt a disappointment, but also the enormous stomach ache that I had as a result. So this has become a NO GO for me.

For 25€ eur biryani I'm expecting an optimum food quality, the lamb biryani I've got was oily salty and absolutely tasteless, however the place looks new,clean and very spacious

Today the two of us had dinner at Veera. The food was really great. For starters we had samosas, onion bhajis and a sheekh kebab – all fresh and full of flavour. The main courses, chicken vindaloo and Kerala prawns, were fantastically tasty and well seasoned. A true treat for lovers of Indian food. The restaurant itself is quite spacious and modern - not very cozy, but neat. What we really thought was a shame is that there is no paper menu available. Instead, you get one tablet on which you have to make your choices together. That feels a bit impersonal and awkward, especially if you want to have a quiet discussion or just want to browse. All in all: the food makes up for a lot, but hopefully a regular menu will be added in the future.

It was quite surprising in the beginning looking at the rating in Google maps for this very fancy restaurant. But after going there, we decided to give this Indian restaurant 3 out of 5 stars. The food portions were generous, and we appreciated the good atmosphere and chill vibe. The interior design was also really fancy. However, the food taste was a letdown - it was a bit too mild compared to other Indian places we've been to. The service was hit-or-miss, with some friendly waitresses and others who seemed a bit abrupt. Parking was a challenge, especially if you're driving, as it's messy and pricey. We actually had an easier time getting there by bike.

Great food and service . We walked in and we were greeted by a nice hostess and shown to our table . An app allows you to order the food and drink which arrived promptly . The food was the closest I have had real Indian food in Indian and the flavours were sublime . Price point was great .

My wife and I discovered this place for the first time tonight, and we will be back again. The decor is quite nice and tables well spaced out. The staff were absolutely amazing - very friendly, attentive and caring. The food was simply delicious and really good sized portions. We shard the mixed starters, chicken masala, lamb biriyani, cheese/garlic naan and finished with the kulfi and chocolate brownie. All of it was perfect, all be it mane a little too much for us! But you can take left overs home with you. Multiple alcohol choices are also made available for those that wish. The food as well as the staff have both made this our favourite Indian in Eindhoven now.

King's Day 2025. At Veera we ate a starter and main course all evening. We shared an appetizer and a dish for two. Spicy but not too strong enough for two. This was followed by the main course, I had fish and my wife had lamb. Special, color and taste was the same. After a few bites we called it quits. The service was extremely friendly and hospitable, the same applies to the restaurant itself. But we won't be coming back here for a while. I've never had such a bad meal anywhere and it's pricey too.

Very disappointing and dangerous - definitely not recommended My experience at this restaurant was not only disappointing, but downright shocking. I would like to emphatically warn others not to eat here, especially if you have allergies or dietary requirements. Firstly, the food was extremely spicy without any possibility to indicate this in advance or to dose yourself. In most decent restaurants you can indicate how spicy you want your dish or pepper is served separately. That was not the case here. The result: inedible food. In addition, there is no table service – everything has to be done via a tablet. Staff hardly speaks Dutch and has no knowledge of allergens. This turned out to be disastrous. I contacted them by telephone in advance to inform them of my serious peanut and tree nut allergy. This was confirmed and it was said that I could also see this via the map. Yet I was served pistachio with the dessert – which was indicated as safe on the allergen card. This led to a near-fatal reaction: I nearly fell unconscious and was on the verge of anaphylactic shock. Everything declared, and yet I was poisoned. I didn't eat anything and left immediately. This is not only negligent, it is life-threatening. In short: no control, no service, no knowledge of allergens and a complete lack of responsibility. Absolutely unsuitable for allergy sufferers and for anyone who values ​​clear communication, safety and service. Avoid this restaurant.

The restaurant is easy to find and the interior design is quite nice - I always like being able to see what's going in in the kitchen. The digital menus took a bit of getting used to, and didn't necessarily help make things more efficient since it took over an hour to get our food (chicken vindaloo and butter chicken with rice, a garlic naan, and a plain naan). It was also quite expensive considering....

Reserved a table for two at Veera yesterday via Social Deal. We were both unfamiliar with Indian cuisine. The food was excellent and varied. Large portions, we saw a lot of doggy bags being taken home with us. Ordering is done via a tablet. Make sure that you actually forward the order to the kitchen! We had checked the starter and pressed order, but you also have to press order again from the main menu (in case you want to order more that round, for example). However, we only found this out after waiting 45 minutes and the waiter had confused us with a different table number and therefore assumed that the food was already being prepared 🙈. The space is very large and at certain times it was completely full. Reservations on Saturday evenings are recommended. Nevertheless, we were not bothered by the crowds and we could hear each other well. Parking is a thing. There are certain parking spaces in the surrounding streets and some parking garages in the area. But almost nothing on your doorstep. There are many bicycle racks in the area.

Previously this was one of the best Indian restaurant. But how has it deteriorated? Food is mediocre and not much for what you pay. Service has become really bad. With the tasting you get 2x naan, but they included this while they asked twice which naan we wanted. Despite telephone contact about their incorrect calculation, you will not get anything back. You're told bad luck. Really customer friendly. So we don't order here anymore.

Went for dinner today but very bad compared to a year ago. Both came home feeling nauseous and I already had to throw up. Never again for us

Bad experience. Probably got food poisoning. The drinks were served in dirty glasses. There was nothing wrong with the starter. The main courses had hardly any taste. The paneer was tasteless in a tomato sauce and the "slightly spicy" sauce of the shrimp curry was very weak. The waitresses were friendly enough and service was fairly smooth.

Securing one star to improve service in the restaurant, though the food taste is very good..

Delicious meal at Veera. Service was also great, really friendly staff. They also have nice chairs - I think that's always important when you sit somewhere for a long time haha. We had the tasting starter and main and that was really great! Nice to try so many different dishes. We chose the mild variant, but I think you can also go for spicy if you want a little spice. Mild is so mild that it is also suitable for children or people who cannot tolerate spicy food! All in all, definitely recommended

The butter chicken is really of very poor quality. Doesn't taste authentic. After this I immediately suffered from heartburn, both my girlfriend and I. My girlfriend vomited the morning after and I woke up with heartburn from eating. Normally never have this problem. I strongly advise against this.

I had dinner at Veera yesterday and I really enjoyed it. Staff was super friendly and really helpful, the food was super tasty, tasted fresh and we definitely took it home. I am really satisfied, everything in terms of food, atmosphere and service was really a 10/10

Delicious food and very attentive staff!

We ate at Veera on our anniversary which was on a sunday. Unfortunately, the food wasn’t what we expected from Indian food, which we have eaten many times before. The starters included samosa’s, tandoori chickenwings and sheekh kebabs of lamb and chicken. Only the sheekh kebabs were tasty, the samosa’s were drenched in oil unfortunately. My partner had a butter chicken for the main and i had the Tandoori lamb chops. The lamb chops weren’t served on a sizzling plate, they were very chewy and the flavour wasn’t there. The butter chicken wasn’t great, it tasted like it lacked spices and just tasted buttery and creamy without the usual Indian spices. The Cheesy Garlic Naan was very very good, this i would definitely recommend Overall the food was a 4/10 In regards to service we unfortunately had to sit in like a storage corner, where there were extra chairs tables and boxes. When we asked the waitress if we could be placed at any other table than this one, she replied that the restaurant was fully booked, but through the whole evening a lot of tables remained empty. This ruined the atmosphere for us. We paid about €90,- which for the food we received is way overpriced.
