Went to Veera tonight after booking a reservation, we walked out after 20 mins of not receiving any attention or even a drink. Terrible service. No music or ambience upon arrival. This place has seriously gone downhill since it first opened.

We ordered bhindi masala, Dal makhani, chicken tikka masala and mango lassi..... Bhindi masala was exceptional I have not eaten bhindi masala like this before.... Almost in every restaurant we had mango lassi but here the lassi is best. Chicken tikka masala can be improved taste wise... The overall experience was good... We sat in the back garden with dim lights under the sky with family and the food came very hot... And bhindi masala and lassi just nailed it...

Good food, good taste. For the main courses you can choose between mild or spicy, so everyone can eat it, even if you don't like spicy. I am used to Inda de Hooge hospitality and the excellent service, but I really missed that here. They work with a tablet to order, so someone only comes to your table to bring you food or drinks. I personally think this is a shame. That is why the service does not get 5 stars. A chat with explanation and occasionally asking if everything is to your liking would already make a difference of one star. A nice concept is that if you reserve via their website and you come to eat early, you get a discount. So if you have no problem eating on time, I would definitely choose that. The decoration is neat, but it still lacks a bit of atmosphere due to the large windows and high ceiling. If something is done with this, this could become a very cozy restaurant.

We love Indian cuisine and had not been here yet. The food is delicious, fresh, many different flavors, friendly service and, if even the Indians eat here then you know you are in good hands. Lastly, you don't have to leave it for the price. We will definitely come back here.

We celebrated the closing with our team at Veera and it was great! Delicious Indian food, friendly service and a nice, warm atmosphere. The flavors were authentic and there was something tasty for everyone. Definitely recommended if you want to eat cozy and tasteful in Eindhoven!

The ambience is good but the prices of the dishes don't do justice to quantity and quality/taste of food. Tried both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes but the flavour was only sub-par. Kerala prawns did not have any Kerala style flavours: curry leaves, coconut, shallots etc were all missing. Cocktails were interesting, Indian Mule highly recommend.

Dear, We ate here yesterday, drove all the way from Rotterdam. We called politely to say we would be 30 minutes late. We were immediately told that the kitchen closes at 9pm! When we finally arrived, we were immediately stared at by the staff to order via an iPad, nothing personal. When you have questions about the arrival of the food, you are stared at askance by the staff. There were still 4 tables in the restaurant, at 9:30 the music is turned off and you are stared at by the staff. At around 10pm, the staff comes by to tell us that the bar is closing for drinks. While we are sitting at the table and eating, they ask if we have finished eating, then at 10:30 the staff comes to ask if we can already pay because they have to count the cash register. This while the restaurant normally does not close until 11pm. Then you are stared at with a look of, 'when are you leaving'. This was a bad restaurant choice for us in any case! We ended up having coffee somewhere else. The customer is king, but not here!

If you like real authentic Indian food then you are at the right place! The food is delicious, lovely quiet atmosphere, where you can sit and talk and enjoy the food. Friendly staff! I wouldn't mind coming here more often!

Food is tasty, the rest really bizarrely bad. For 2 people the quantity disappoints me: with 2 adults and 2 children (2 and 4) it is not enough. But especially the service is really inadequate: 4 hours in advance you have to give the order and pick-up time but then the food is ready 75 minutes later than requested. Not to be repeated unfortunately, there are much better Indian restaurants in Eindhoven.

Dinner was a gift via Social Deal. Typical modern atmosphere, you have to like that. Not Indian. Food tasty and quite spicy, but you can expect that. Was a lot. Got what was left in boxes (thanks to that suggestion in review!). Service English except for one girl. Restaurant practically next to more traditional Indian restaurant.

never again for me!!! At the request of my girlfriend we went to eat in this restaurant. In addition, according to sources it turned out that the meat was Halal. Unfortunately, you can't find anywhere on the basis of a certificate that it is actually halal. To place your order, you have to do it via a device. You don't get an explanation of how it works and possibly where you can find your order. After a long wait, someone finally came to help and explain this. Once ordered, we got a small bowl of rice with two main courses. At our request, the bowl of rice was refilled. When we started drinking coffee and tea, we unexpectedly got a bill shoved in front of us. and the excuse was used that we had asked for the bill ourselves via device. Once I decided to pay, I came home to discover that more had been charged than what I saw on the receipt. Unfortunately, when I got home, not only was the receipt a disappointment, but also the enormous stomach ache that I had as a result. So this has become a NO GO for me.

For 25€ eur biryani I'm expecting an optimum food quality, the lamb biryani I've got was oily salty and absolutely tasteless, however the place looks new,clean and very spacious

Today the two of us had dinner at Veera. The food was really great. For starters we had samosas, onion bhajis and a sheekh kebab – all fresh and full of flavour. The main courses, chicken vindaloo and Kerala prawns, were fantastically tasty and well seasoned. A true treat for lovers of Indian food. The restaurant itself is quite spacious and modern - not very cozy, but neat. What we really thought was a shame is that there is no paper menu available. Instead, you get one tablet on which you have to make your choices together. That feels a bit impersonal and awkward, especially if you want to have a quiet discussion or just want to browse. All in all: the food makes up for a lot, but hopefully a regular menu will be added in the future.

It was quite surprising in the beginning looking at the rating in Google maps for this very fancy restaurant. But after going there, we decided to give this Indian restaurant 3 out of 5 stars. The food portions were generous, and we appreciated the good atmosphere and chill vibe. The interior design was also really fancy. However, the food taste was a letdown - it was a bit too mild compared to other Indian places we've been to. The service was hit-or-miss, with some friendly waitresses and others who seemed a bit abrupt. Parking was a challenge, especially if you're driving, as it's messy and pricey. We actually had an easier time getting there by bike.

Great food and service . We walked in and we were greeted by a nice hostess and shown to our table . An app allows you to order the food and drink which arrived promptly . The food was the closest I have had real Indian food in Indian and the flavours were sublime . Price point was great .

My wife and I discovered this place for the first time tonight, and we will be back again. The decor is quite nice and tables well spaced out. The staff were absolutely amazing - very friendly, attentive and caring. The food was simply delicious and really good sized portions. We shard the mixed starters, chicken masala, lamb biriyani, cheese/garlic naan and finished with the kulfi and chocolate brownie. All of it was perfect, all be it mane a little too much for us! But you can take left overs home with you. Multiple alcohol choices are also made available for those that wish. The food as well as the staff have both made this our favourite Indian in Eindhoven now.

King's Day 2025. At Veera we ate a starter and main course all evening. We shared an appetizer and a dish for two. Spicy but not too strong enough for two. This was followed by the main course, I had fish and my wife had lamb. Special, color and taste was the same. After a few bites we called it quits. The service was extremely friendly and hospitable, the same applies to the restaurant itself. But we won't be coming back here for a while. I've never had such a bad meal anywhere and it's pricey too.

The restaurant is easy to find and the interior design is quite nice - I always like being able to see what's going in in the kitchen. The digital menus took a bit of getting used to, and didn't necessarily help make things more efficient since it took over an hour to get our food (chicken vindaloo and butter chicken with rice, a garlic naan, and a plain naan). It was also quite expensive considering....

Reserved a table for two at Veera yesterday via Social Deal. We were both unfamiliar with Indian cuisine. The food was excellent and varied. Large portions, we saw a lot of doggy bags being taken home with us. Ordering is done via a tablet. Make sure that you actually forward the order to the kitchen! We had checked the starter and pressed order, but you also have to press order again from the main menu (in case you want to order more that round, for example). However, we only found this out after waiting 45 minutes and the waiter had confused us with a different table number and therefore assumed that the food was already being prepared 🙈. The space is very large and at certain times it was completely full. Reservations on Saturday evenings are recommended. Nevertheless, we were not bothered by the crowds and we could hear each other well. Parking is a thing. There are certain parking spaces in the surrounding streets and some parking garages in the area. But almost nothing on your doorstep. There are many bicycle racks in the area.

Very disappointing and dangerous - definitely not recommended My experience at this restaurant was not only disappointing, but downright shocking. I would like to emphatically warn others not to eat here, especially if you have allergies or dietary requirements. Firstly, the food was extremely spicy without any possibility to indicate this in advance or to dose yourself. In most decent restaurants you can indicate how spicy you want your dish or pepper is served separately. That was not the case here. The result: inedible food. In addition, there is no table service – everything has to be done via a tablet. Staff hardly speaks Dutch and has no knowledge of allergens. This turned out to be disastrous. I contacted them by telephone in advance to inform them of my serious peanut and tree nut allergy. This was confirmed and it was said that I could also see this via the map. Yet I was served pistachio with the dessert – which was indicated as safe on the allergen card. This led to a near-fatal reaction: I nearly fell unconscious and was on the verge of anaphylactic shock. Everything declared, and yet I was poisoned. I didn't eat anything and left immediately. This is not only negligent, it is life-threatening. In short: no control, no service, no knowledge of allergens and a complete lack of responsibility. Absolutely unsuitable for allergy sufferers and for anyone who values ​​clear communication, safety and service. Avoid this restaurant.

Went for dinner today but very bad compared to a year ago. Both came home feeling nauseous and I already had to throw up. Never again for us

Previously this was one of the best Indian restaurant. But how has it deteriorated? Food is mediocre and not much for what you pay. Service has become really bad. With the tasting you get 2x naan, but they included this while they asked twice which naan we wanted. Despite telephone contact about their incorrect calculation, you will not get anything back. You're told bad luck. Really customer friendly. So we don't order here anymore.

Bad experience. Probably got food poisoning. The drinks were served in dirty glasses. There was nothing wrong with the starter. The main courses had hardly any taste. The paneer was tasteless in a tomato sauce and the "slightly spicy" sauce of the shrimp curry was very weak. The waitresses were friendly enough and service was fairly smooth.

Delicious meal at Veera. Service was also great, really friendly staff. They also have nice chairs - I think that's always important when you sit somewhere for a long time haha. We had the tasting starter and main and that was really great! Nice to try so many different dishes. We chose the mild variant, but I think you can also go for spicy if you want a little spice. Mild is so mild that it is also suitable for children or people who cannot tolerate spicy food! All in all, definitely recommended

The butter chicken is really of very poor quality. Doesn't taste authentic. After this I immediately suffered from heartburn, both my girlfriend and I. My girlfriend vomited the morning after and I woke up with heartburn from eating. Normally never have this problem. I strongly advise against this.

I had dinner at Veera yesterday and I really enjoyed it. Staff was super friendly and really helpful, the food was super tasty, tasted fresh and we definitely took it home. I am really satisfied, everything in terms of food, atmosphere and service was really a 10/10

Delicious food and very attentive staff!

We ate at Veera on our anniversary which was on a sunday. Unfortunately, the food wasn’t what we expected from Indian food, which we have eaten many times before. The starters included samosa’s, tandoori chickenwings and sheekh kebabs of lamb and chicken. Only the sheekh kebabs were tasty, the samosa’s were drenched in oil unfortunately. My partner had a butter chicken for the main and i had the Tandoori lamb chops. The lamb chops weren’t served on a sizzling plate, they were very chewy and the flavour wasn’t there. The butter chicken wasn’t great, it tasted like it lacked spices and just tasted buttery and creamy without the usual Indian spices. The Cheesy Garlic Naan was very very good, this i would definitely recommend Overall the food was a 4/10 In regards to service we unfortunately had to sit in like a storage corner, where there were extra chairs tables and boxes. When we asked the waitress if we could be placed at any other table than this one, she replied that the restaurant was fully booked, but through the whole evening a lot of tables remained empty. This ruined the atmosphere for us. We paid about €90,- which for the food we received is way overpriced.

We were sent back from the restaurant as they claimed it was full on the other hand we could make reservation online. The manager was rude to talk and did not address our issue also, she was ok if we never visit again.

My first time here and I am loving it. All the food taste good and huge portions. Will come back next time.

I reserved a package through too good to go last week. The advertisement stated that it was for Biryani or another curry, and there were also €2.50 packaging costs. That in itself is not a problem, but; a paper bag with a bowl of rice and a mango lassi. For €8.50 via an app is not normal. This makes packaging costs even worse. I drove especially from Helmond and I won't be coming back here anytime soon.

This Indian restaurant has a beautiful and spacious interior. The food is well seasoned and very tasty, plenty of choice! Staff are friendly. We will definitely come back!

Surprisingly tasty. We came here for Valentine's Day dinner. First of all, the interior of the restaurant is neat. It looks more fancy than cozy, but I didn't mind. It had a certain charm. When you sit down at the table, you will be given a tablet and you can place the order via the tablet. This gives you the advantage that you can view the menu at your leisure and it is nice for people who prefer not to have too much contact with the employees. Of course, if you have a question or you can't figure it out, the staff is ready to help you and they will explain how the tablet works if it doesn't work. The two of us ordered two starters, main courses with naan and a shared dessert. The nice thing about the menu was that it varied widely from meat to fish to vegetarian options. Rice is included as standard with every main course, naan can be ordered additionally. We had the samosa + onion fritters and chicken wings as a starter. The samosas had a crispy outside and a richly filled inside. Onion fritters were deliciously seasoned. The chicken wings were also very tasty: well seasoned and juicy. The main courses we ordered: the classic butter chicken and the vegetarian variant, namely the paneer makhani. The sauce was different than what we have had before in other restaurants, but this was certainly not negative. The sauce was equally creamy and full of flavor, just more seasoned which gave the dish more flavor. Tasty. The only thing I have to say about the food is that the naan was a little drier than I'm used to so I thought that was a shame. For the rest a top experience. For dessert I recommend the cheesecake because it was delicious. The mango lassi is also tasty and not too sweet. We ended up taking half of the food home and enjoying it a second time because the portions were certainly big enough. Price-quality ratio was definitely good for me.

The food is tasty and in ample quantity. However, the service is unfriendly and unwelcoming. After making a reservation, when we sat at the table we were unfriendly informed that we could stay for a maximum of 2 hours because they were overbooked. Then we were looked away all evening and while we were eating dessert our 'order tablet' was taken away and after the last bite had been taken everything was immediately taken from the table. We were literally looked away, not very welcoming and friendly if it was a fault of the restaurant to have a wrong or incorrect reservation policy. We didn't feel comfortable. Not recommended!

This was soo delicious! Ate Indian food for the first time and it was very good. It's nice that there is an open kitchen and the ladies at the service were also very friendly. Too bad it's not right in the center because I think it would be completely full every night. All in all, highly recommended!!

"Best food from this kitchen that I have tasted" this was my review 2 years ago. I don't know what happened now but every dish I'm used to tastes different and not for the better. SHAME! I certainly ordered here every month, every 2 weeks or so. There was also something missing from my home order, I called about this and they were supposed to deliver it but they never came.

We had a very good meal! Because we made use of an 'early bird arrangement' (eat at 17:30) we got 50% off! The food was great, staff is friendly and the paid parking is literally around the corner and not expensive at all.

A year ago the service in this restaurant was significantly better. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has deteriorated sharply. The food tasted old, and the rice was served in large, unappetizing blocks (see photo). When we asked why the rice looked like that, the waitress offered to bring a new portion, but to our disappointment we were given the exact same plate back. The staff came across as unfriendly and disinterested, which further ruined the experience. This restaurant started out with a good reputation, but as often happens, it seems that the owner pays less attention to service and quality once some profit is made. Unfortunately, it seems like only a matter of time before this restaurant closes its doors. In any case, this was the last time we ate here.

For me it is the first time that I eat Indian. Food was tasty, but not my thing and way too much. We chose the Christmas menu. The ice cream for dessert was super tasty. Wonderfully creamy. Service was smooth, helpful and very friendly. The place is nicely decorated.

In the center of Eindhoven, restaurant Veera offers an authentic journey through India. When you enter, you will be welcomed by the friendly service and a delicious papadum with dip will be ready for you as soon as you take a seat. The menu is extensive (but not too extensive) and offers delicious traditional Indian dishes, from fragrant curries to freshly baked (cheesy) naan to tasty tandoori dishes. Each dish is prepared with care and is beautifully presented. Highly recommended is the butter chicken, creamy and full of flavor, and the tandoori chicken, which was perfectly seasoned. Vegetarian? Vegetarians can also indulge themselves here with a diverse range of vegetarian dishes. Veera is a good choice for lovers of Indian food, a real asset to the Eindhoven catering industry. I'll be back soon to sample the rest of the menu!

Food was amazing, the ordering on tablets was a first for me and I kinda missed the interaction with staff for questions about dishes, so we had to Google things ourselves but as a strong introvert maybe it was for the best. We overestimated ourselves and underestimated the portions but luckily they provided boxes to take the delicious leftovers home.

Good Indian food with nice ambience. Specially Paneer Tikka as a sizzler was really delicious. Cons- Poor customer service first booking cancelled by restaurant and then received starters after 1 hour and for main course waited another 30 min.

Always good quality food, with generous portions. For take-away or dining in, this place is recommended. Spatious organised seating, with comfortable seats. Taking (smaller) children is no problem here. Food is tasty, and the chilis can be adjusted to your taste (mild and normal spiced). And quite often they have good discounts (e.g. dine before 17.30 for 50%)!

I came to Veera and ordered the 2 people menu which comes with 3 curries of choice, rice,yogurt and more. ( No drinks included). Being a Indian food lover and experienced from my travel in India I have to say this place Is a good representation of Indian food. The ordering is done by tablet and the restaurant is elegant. Mixed Starter Vega is highly recommendable- tasty, various ingredients in it. If you like okra and spicy food, make sure you order their Okra Bhaji-a rice killer. The restaurant is spacious and has good A/C. We actually like their remote-welcoming service so we tipped our waitress.

We order regularly, great vegan options. However it is sad there is so much plastic involved. Could that be done smarter? I understand it for sauces maybe but I think most of it can be packages in carboard based like their colleagues do. Thank you.

I come here every so often with a friend. Tasty food, good portions. That friend of mine often has a promotion that gives some discount on the food. You order with a touchpad and the service is quite fast. Quite a large space, the atmosphere could be a little better. 4 stars for the food because it is a bit pricey. The naans are also very tasty.

Good quality food, not to expensive. Open to offer a Doggy bag for the leftover food. For the price you get a lot of food in all flavors. We ate a second day from the leftovers. Staff was friendly but I'm not really a fan of the iPad ordering thing. Music was a bit loud and sometimes there's a commercial brake in the music. Just pay for Spotify of fix that in some other way.

Very unfortunate, the chicken was inedible, the butterchicken is just orange food coloring, there were bones in the chicken, while the chicken fillet should be tender, the rice was good, and so was my casis drink ☺️ For the rest it was clean there and friendly staff.

I ordered butter chicken online . It was aweful experience. It was very sweet and tasteless .

There were not much options for vegetarians (compared to the other Indian restaurants), inspite of it we decided to go here since it was a very special day for us. However, it turned out to be a disaster. They spoilt our special day with rude and arrogant service by stewards and bad food!! We ordered 2 vegetarian curries from the ordering device and kept requesting the option for the steward to attend to us, so we could request them to make it a bit spicy. They did not attend to us, finally another steward attended to us and when we told we requested the curries to be spicy, she was blunt and rude to say "if you have already told, then you don't have to tell it again" sorts. Later after a long wait the food was presented. We found it to be too sweet and hence told the steward that we wanted to make it a bit spicy but it is not as requested. They came back later with extremely spicy based gravy (which they mix to prepare other curries) and gave it us saying it's a complementary curry since they missed to get the requested curries spicy. This almost burnt our tongue and turned our faces red!! We called the steward immediately and told them it was like a vengeance spice level, the steward looked at what was given to us and mentioned "oh it was not supposed to be given as a curry because it's a spicy based mixture". Not even an apology God damn it!! I will not recommend this to anyone. Please learn to be more courteous to your customers and attend to them when needed.

Very good Indian restaurant in the city center of Eindhoven with a nice staff who advised perfectly in choosing from the menu. Truly a recommendation when you are in Eindhoven looking for a restaurant.

Beautiful place with lots of space and round tables that are perfect for groups in combination with shared Indian dining. The food is fresh and tasty. For me Dutch, the mild variants tasted great and not too spicy. It's a pity that orders have to be placed via a tablet, which makes it less personal. And commercials in the Spotify music list are also a thing of the past with a small amount each month.

I regularly order here, because the food is amazing. The other they forgot to deliver the rice, so I called them. A very friendly guy picked up the phone and promised me to personally deliver ghe rice himself. He did, and even added free naan and mango shakes. Definite recommendation!

Tried this restaurant for the first time, great service, delicious food!

Food was really salty and oily. Very little actual Indian herbs are used. Also they refused us the discount we were entitled to since we did not tell them in time. For sure not coming here again.

Nice decent place serving quality food. Ordered the sharing non-veg menu - variety and spred was nice.

Ordered twice now via Ubereats. Twice 1 dish was forgotten, the missing dish + extra dishes were delivered the same evening. I talked to the owner for 5 minutes at the door, he's a really nice guy! Quality is what he strives for, that's why he didn't want to accept a tip, because he didn't think it was of the right quality. We will order here more often!🤩
