Venezia in Wijk 01 Sneek

We dined here with four people on a weekday. The restaurant is pleasantly decorated. The pizzas weren't anything special. The cutlery was blunt. The staff didn't come to ask if we wanted more drinks, so we went an hour without them. Making the pizzas also took an hour, even though there were hardly any guests in the restaurant. The pizza makers were very busy chatting among themselves, which could be heard throughout the restaurant.

I've been getting them for years but it's getting worse and worse. Pizza ( vulcano ) al prosciutto e funghi, delivered with the slices of ham thrown on loose, result: dried out and hard ham like Jerky. This is not how a Pizza al prosciutto e funghi should be made. Spaghetti Bolognese tasteless, even with the grated cheese on top. And I haven't even mentioned the (too) high price.

The base was hard and very little topping and that for 18 euros

Very dissatisfied. Never again! You order a pizza carbonara special without egg, and of course it is delivered! For the second time this has happened!! In addition, it was only delivered after about an hour. Next time I'll go to a pizzeria that delivers faster and better!

Wait 2 hours before they start eating, and when you ask when the food is approximately ready they get angry. Service doesn't come by and the food is mediocre.

All I can say is that it was very tasty again. I don't understand the bad reviews that are sometimes posted. I think I've either been somewhere else, or it wasn't to your taste, that's possible of course. But I've never had bad food here. And have been coming here for at least 10 years. If I want a pizza. (And I'm very picky with food, it doesn't suit me easily)

The pizza was good. The ice cream was old and rancid. The service was on time but very unfriendly. The place itself is very dark. In addition, the toilet was clogged. Already eaten better.

Waiting longer than two hours for 1 simple pizza is apparently very normal at this place and if you inquire how this is possible, you will be blamed for home delivery!!? Home delivery is also probably responsible for a sloppy rushed pizza that is also stone cold. Definitely avoid this place if you are looking for a decent Italian meal.

Spaghetti bolognese, came out of the microwave, I could see from my seat. It really didn't taste good. So terribly bland, and the minced meat in the 'sauce' had a strange mouthfeel. Sent back to the kitchen and got some fries from the neighbors.

When we go out to eat, this is our favorite restaurant. There are many pizzas on the menu. The calzones are really tasty. But also tasty pasta dishes. But the top is their meat dishes. Wonderfully seasoned and tasty. So when we go out to eat, that's what we go for. If we pick something up, we go for the pizzas. Highly recommended.

We wanted a drink on the terrace on a Tuesday. There were no other guests at all. But just a drink was not an option. Drinks are only for customers who also come to eat. The bad thing is that we eat or order there every month. Only this time we had vegan people with us and therefore only wanted to have a drink.

Last weekend we had the tastiest pizza in years. Good, flavorful crust. Nice pint on the side. Tiramisu also tasty. Price much lower than expected.

Switched from another good pizzeria to this one because I liked the takeaway. Now after ordering twice, back to the other pizzeria. The pizzas are delicious and rich, but the size of a children's pizza. Very unfortunate for the money you pay for it.

Had a beautiful calzone and traditional pizza! Nico is a real pizzaiolo! Sneek can rub his hands with this pizza talent. Come by quickly and taste this pizza, Nico will soon expand his passion for archeology and will no longer always bake these delicious pizzas!

When visiting the theater, first visit the pizzeria. This was our second time. The food was decent. What struck us this time is the hygiene of the toilet, which would not make Rob Geus happy and certainly not us.

You can get the tastiest lasagna here if you ask me. When I went to eat here again last week, I saw how dirty it actually is: cobwebs, sticky menus and layers of dust on the interior. A hair in my lasagna made it complete. The service was very friendly and helpful and a solution was immediately offered.

Normally I write reviews now but the service was so bad I had to! We had picked up 6 pizzas and we wanted to eat them at home, when we opened a pizza box there was a black hair in it! Of course we called Venezia and asked if they could bring a new pizza, but shipping costs had to be paid for it and they couldn't deliver it because of the snow culture! Ridiculous

Four of us were there after a day on the North Sea. The service was very satisfactory, the food not so much. The starter bread was from the supermarket, the garlic sauce was satisfying. The pizzas were all too greasy and simply didn't taste good. All in all, a rather sobering visit.

I got pasta and it was really inedible. I expected tasty pasta at an Italian, but unfortunately that was not the case. A friend of mine had the spaghetti carbonara and that wasn't that good either. Maybe pasta isn't their strong point. They do have a very large variety of pizzas that you can order and that is nice, but the pizzas were not that tasty either. The bottom was wet and there was almost no taste. So all in all we were better off just ordering dominos than eating here.

You can choose from many pizzas here. I chose the pizza carpaccio. The base was different than what I am used to in Italy, but certainly no less tasty. Carpaccio with arugula, pine nuts, olives and parmesan cheese is a very good combination. And then cassata. Delicious.

Service was mediocre, but you can't expect more for the price, although the pizzas were relatively expensive and 2 euros were charged per extra ingredient. You could taste the ingredients well, but the middle of the pizza was extremely soft and wet, making it a mess. Italian grammar on the menu is also incorrect and the interior was a bit tired. Domino's makes tastier food and pizza is better to make yourself.

Service is very poor, when asked what they have on tap you get the answer: 'beer', if you ask which beer, you get the answer; 'just beer'. The rest of the drinks were lukewarm, no ice, not even in the ice tea, even though it was very warm inside. The pizzas were not tasty, strange overpowering taste of the tomato sauce, taste of cooked meat (ham) and the bottom was soggy in the middle. When we indicated that we had not eaten very well, we received the answer: 'I have never eaten here, but I once took one home and it was not tasty either, but it was 2 hours old 🤔.

A nice and cozy Italian family restaurant. The meals are based on traditional Italian recipes. Patience is a virtue there. But you really get value for your money there.

Found a piece of wood in my food! And then also pretend that I had put it in myself?

The lasagna was downright tasteless, but that's besides the point. My daughter had a pizza and there was a piece of wood in it. She indicated this to the lady who served us. He then went to discuss the matter in the kitchen. It was then indicated that they did not understand how that was possible and I was asked how it had happened. How was I supposed to know that? My daughter suddenly started chewing on it so maybe it was in one of the ingredients? The counter question gave me the feeling that they thought we might have come up with it ourselves. Anyway, they didn't know and that was the end of it. A strange way to handle the incident. Don't want to eat there again.

Had an order delivered today, it took over an hour, no problem, we understand that it is busy on Sunday evening. Then there is heavily dried out baguette, which should not even be called baguette. And all dishes taste like nothing. Dirty, clammy spaghetti, stuck together in chunks. Super chewy bacon. And very dry due to lack of sauce. And where are the Mushrooms? It tastes and looks like it was made last week and has now been reheated. The other spaghetti and the lasagna were also inedible, 30 euros was thrown away. The delivery lady also managed to give us a pizza ordered from the downstairs neighbors. This gentleman had already paid and everything. We just delivered his pizza, otherwise he would still be waiting. We then call the company about this and they indicate that they always make it that way, so they can't do anything for us. So no solution at that time. I indicate that this will be the last time we will order here! And the lady just responds with a (finally) enthusiastic "okay!" What a strange turn of events. Never again. In principle, the pizzas are always delicious there, but because of this way of treating us, we have decided never to come again. Time for a new cook, new delivery person, and new telephone operator. Good luck recruiting qualified staff who can bring the company back to something positive.
