Verhage Gouda in Plaswijck

Super fun restaurant! I sometimes go here with a friend. The restaurant is quite large inside with plenty of seating. The interior is beautiful and atmospheric. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is delicious and of good quality, all for a great price. There's parking outside, so it's easy to reach by car. All in all, a great restaurant, and I'm looking forward to going back!😋🍔

Excellent food, competitive prices, pleasant service

Great location and delicious sandwiches and toasted sandwiches. The coffee is wonderful. Friendly atmosphere and service. Highly recommended, especially in the winter with a good shopping center.

It's a shame the service is normally friendly, and now the tea was brought to us, and the waiter didn't even look, and an extra cookie was too much trouble. Hopefully, they'll be friendlier next time.

A very immature company. I ordered a twist. First, there was a hair in it, and second, everything was put in so dry, no mixing, nothing! And the service is 0/0.

What a great place! The toasted sandwiches were absolutely delicious, and the homemade iced tea is highly recommended. The staff is very friendly and happy to chat. There's plenty of choice on the menu, and the atmosphere is very cozy. Also handy: there are plenty of highchairs available. Definitely recommended!

Everything is fantastic! The fries were perfectly cooked; beautifully golden brown with a crispy crust. You can choose your own ribs: sweet or spicy. The staff is also super friendly; they came by a few times to ask if we were enjoying them or if they were to our liking. For dessert, we had a delicious warmed-up apple pie with delicious whipped cream. In short, we had a wonderful time!😀

A great and affordable restaurant. The menu isn't anything special, and it doesn't need to be. The dishes are simply simple and delicious, which is fine! The only point for improvement is that once you sit down, it takes a while to get served. Oh well, I can forgive that!

Simply ordered a sandwich and a cup of coffee, both were perfect btw👍🏻. Sandwich was delivered quickly. But I had to wait way too long for the coffee, I had already finished my sandwich long before the coffee arrived. That was a minus point, too bad😒 I did say something about it. Sorry

We live nearby and regularly pick up delicious food from Verhage. There is a lot of choice in snacks, which my husband loves. And there are delicious meal salads with salmon or carpaccio for me. And we both really like the fries from Verhage.

Restaurant has little atmosphere. For take-away fries and snacks a great option.

French fries with stew were delicious and the chili chicken toastie was also tasty (deliciously spicy)

Heel fijne bediening, vriendelijk en klantgericht. De eigenaresse schoof gezellig aan ons tafeltje en zat niet om woorden verlegen. Ik had frites met truffelsaus besteld, en een kalfskroket. Helaas kan ik daar niet positief over zijn, de frites en saus waren smakeloos, niet krokant, de kroket was qua korst veel te hard dus deze overdreven krokant; het maakte de tegenvallende frites niet goed. Omdat de zaak toch een gunfactor heeft wat mij betreft, ze bedoelen het goed, kom ik toch nog op 3 sterren.

When we come to the shopping center we often eat here. The atmosphere is good. It is clean and the service is great and always with a smile. Friendly staff.

Fries were not warm. Hamburger sandwich: Bun was too dry, hamburger tough, sauce forgotten. Salad far from fresh. Otherwise nice decor.

Neat place, friendly staff and certainly more than just a cafeteria. Enjoy a cup of coffee, enjoy the ice cream specialties or enjoy the tastiest sandwich ever, the "good old".

Very Bad service. I call in advance to say I will pick up my order at a certain time. I asked additionally if this was possible, and it was all possible. Get there. They haven't made anything from my order and they say they won't make it anymore. Should I call in advance to wait for my order?! Now my sister goes to bed without dinner. Shame on you.

As almost always with a Verhage, the food is good. But here everything is fine. It is clean, tidy and even though it was packed when we were there, we were served friendly, quickly and correctly. The young lady who helped us did a fine job, but the young man who served another table stood out because of his good working attitude. Too bad for you that he has found another job.

Listening is difficult!!! 2 chicken breast burgers, bread, chicken, cheese and nothing else. 1 regular chicken fillet burger with everything on it. At home: 1 chicken fillet burger bread, cheese chicken fillet burger 2 chicken fillet burger bread, cheese chicken fillet and sauce 😡😡 Regular chicken fillet burger, lettuce, chicken fillet and cheese NO BACON AND SAUCE 😡😡 €20!!! And this order due to allergies This is not the first, but certainly the last time. At least the trash has eaten

Nice place to have a quiet bite to eat in the shopping center. Both takeaway and eating on site are possible. Sandwiches, toasted sandwiches, or something more extensive, there are plenty of options. The service is excellent and so is the quality of the food. It is a nice, quiet place in a great shopping center.

Food was very good. Service not really. We had to wait a very long time to be served. People who came after us went before. After we went after it ourselves, we were helped with an angry face.

Ga ik gisteren met mijn dochter en kleinzoon lunchen bij Verhage in Gouda vraag ik of ze glutenvrije hapjes hebben mijn kleinzoon heeft nm een heftige glutenallergie zegt dat meisje ja dat hebben wij maar we kunnen ze niet glutenvrij bakken hoe raar is dit! Conclusie we zijn zonder te lunchen weer vetrokken

The food is always good here... but the staff is very slow. In addition, the waiting time of 30 to 45 minutes is a bit long for a snack bar

It seemed that today (5/24) it was understaffed. Waited 20 minutes, the staff speaks to you, but unfortunately taking an order or clearing a table was too much to ask. Just left. It might be an idea to use a QR order system. Hope this was a one time thing.

"I recently visited Verhage Gouda with my family, attracted by the expectation of a halal menu. To our regret, we discovered that not all dishes met this requirement. This was a disappointment, as we came with different expectations based on recommendations. Upon entering, we were confronted with a strict attitude from the manager, who asked us to remain silent during a memorial moment. While I respect local traditions and customs, the approach felt selective and somewhat coercive. However, the staff, apart from the manager, were remarkably friendly and helpful. They did their best to accommodate us and offered subtle hints about the halal status of the dishes, which we greatly appreciated. The atmosphere during the memorial moment was somewhat contradictory; despite the previous emphasis on silence, the background music continued to play. This contributed to a sense of inconsistency in the experience. At checkout we noticed that we had been charged for some items that we had not ordered. While this is a concern, we chose not to address it on site. In summary, our experience at Verhage Gouda was mixed. The friendliness of the staff was a bright spot, but the confusion about the halal status of the food and the interactions with the manager left room for improvement. Ate today, delicious baguette carpaccio and delicious warm fries. Friendly service. Just the way it should be.

We have now moved to Gouda for six months, and we have been coming here ever since, they are great people, friendly. Food is excellent 🥰 we always have our small dog with us, they make sure he has water. This place is my favorite ❤ If you want good food then I recommend this place 👌

Ordered the house special "Apple Pie" It was ok, not bad but certainly nowhere near as advertised. The apples used were not young, juicy and the crust rather bland. I prefer the amazing apple pie at Le place than here. It was pricey for a rather simple cafe. Sorry butvits my truth

Prima eten en heel vriendelijk personeel!

Een ouderwets gevoel van thuis komen door de menselijke benadering van het personeel. Het eten is goed, rolstoelvriendelijk en je wordt niet weggekeken. Niet vegetarisch en ook te doen voor een kopje koffie of thee.

Vriendelijk, gastvrije en hoffelijk personeel. Steakhouse burger is van excellente kwaliteit met heerlijke smaakverhouding de salsa is zoals een salade moet zijn handmade met liefde. Complimenten voor de kok. Blijf zo doorgaan je weet nooit wie de zaak binnenwandeld.

We hebben hier ontzettend lekker en gezellig geluncht! Wat een leuke spontane meid die ons hielp! En het eten was fantastisch lekker en verzorgd! En ook nog eens een leuke prijs.. Ohjaaa en wat een Super lekkere pindasaus hebben ze daar..Hmmmm

Ontzettend lekker en goede service

Echt mooie plek met simpel maar lekker maaltijden. Ik ben hier veel keren met mijn vrouw en kindje geweest. Ernaast is lekker ijsje voor dessert.

Goede kwaliteit , veel keuzeen net personeel. Ik heb alleen afgehaald.

Bij aankomst was de tafel nog niet schoon gemaakt, bestelling gedaan waarna de bestelling zonder bestelde milkshake gekregen. Hierop gewezen, waarna deze geserveerd werden met een halve beker softijs, Deze is er dus niet uit te zuipen door de kartonnen rietjes. Jammer ook dat t personeel geen hart hier voor heeft. Meerdere keren geprobeerd om wat te nuttigen, meerdere keren gaat t niet goed. Dit was de laatste keer, op naar verhage Nieuwerkerk aan de IJssel. Meer hart voor t eten en voor de klanten.

Aardige mensen en lekkere lunch

Essen war lecker und schnell zubereitet. Personal super freundlich und auch mit Kleinkind (1.5 Jahre) sehr gut geeignet.

Sehr leckere Gerichte mit interessanten Kombination. Trotz einer kleinen Panne im Service, war das Personal sehr freundlich, nett, hilfsbereit und hat alles wieder in Ordnung gebracht. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Goede service vriendelijk persooneel top

I went there as a teacher in a camp together with 30 kids. The staff was very nice and patient and waited for every kid to make their choice. They were also willing to make us an invoice. The ice cream selection is not very diverse but the ones they have are very good. (Would love some salted caramel haha)

Mijn vrouw wilde een loaded tzaziki fries maar dan zonder de kip wegens vegetarisch. "Zullen we anders een geenkipburger in stukjes snijden als vervanging? De kip is het duurste ingredient". Dat noem ik nou topservice.

Ontzettend goed geholpen door het personeel ook nadat we onverwachts met een groep van 8 binnenkwamen, heerlijk gegeten met goede service

Ter plaatse van het lekkere Italiaanse IJS gegeten, want sinds kort heeft Verhage dat! voor herhaling vatbaar!

De spareribs zijn zo goed!! Ze zijn lekker mals en heerlijk van smaak!

Top plek!!! Een zekere aanrader. Ben er vandaag geweest met clienten en de service was goed ze waren heel lief en respectvol altijd een glimlach. En het eten was heerlijk ook de ijs was lekker. Echt too service!!!
