This is a real food factory. But lots of tasty food.

I don't know what others are talking about, but we ate with a group of 12 people and it was super delicious.

Many people were very noisy, the food was delicious.

There is plenty of food and something for everyone; the service is fast. The decor is modern, though a bit dark. Parking is free and there is ample parking space. What I found disappointing was that there were unfortunately many children who were screaming and running around. That is not the fault of the establishment itself, but of the visitors. So, not suitable for a quiet evening out for dinner... during the holidays. Perhaps quieter on weekdays outside of holidays.

What a wonderful evening again at Wereld Restaurant Atlantis in Gouda! 🍽️ If you are looking for a place where there really is something for everyone, then you have absolutely come to the right place. The selection is incredibly diverse: from delicious fresh sushi and perfectly prepared wok dishes to tender cuts of meat from the grill and an impressive dessert buffet (including a chocolate fountain!) that will blow your mind. 🍣🥩🍰 What really stands out is that everything is prepared super fresh right in front of you and the quality is simply always incredibly consistent and good. In addition, the atmosphere in the restaurant is very warm and the layout is very spacious. You have more than enough room at the table, even when it is pleasantly busy. Moreover, the staff is incredibly friendly, super quick at clearing empty plates, and ensures that you can enjoy yourself without a care. Definitely highly recommended for a successful and delicious night out! ✨🥂

Quite busy but not crazy (8pm on a Friday) food was very varied and mostly good, a few things weren’t totally hot and some stations were a mystery as a non-Dutch speaker. Would have loved to try the Teppanyaki but sadly not to be.

We ate at your place today, June 6, 2026. The plates were gone, the glasses were gone, the trays of chicory and asparagus skewers were gone, the sauce was gone, only the mushroom sauce was left but it was super thin, just like water. We were seated in a built-in area with chairs because there were 2 high chairs next to us. And in the ladies' restroom the towels were gone and in the last restroom there was feces against the wall, truly terrible, and then the food that was lying on the floor 🥵 We went with my family last year on May 26 and that was great, but what a disappointment it was today, very unfortunate and a waste of time and money. Sorry, but luckily I was only with a friend.

The roast beef was tough, the steak was overcooked even though you indicate it should be rare.. it's a shame the carpaccio is served on a platter instead of just a portion on plates.. very friendly and helpful staff.. But honestly, we had a great time and that is the most important thing.. Thank you ❤️

Visit on June 6 at 18:00 (2 people) Visited Atlantis Wereldrestaurant on a Saturday evening. As expected, it was quite busy, but despite the crowds, there was a pleasant atmosphere. Atmosphere & Reception The atmosphere in the restaurant was good. Although it was busy, that is actually typical for an all-you-can-eat restaurant on the weekend. 4/5⭐️ It was noticeably busier at the reception. Only two cash registers were open for both new and departing guests. Opening a third cash register would have significantly improved the flow. 3/5⭐️ Drinks Soft drinks Wide selection of both bottled and draft drinks. The only point of concern is the Lipton Ice Tea tap. It produced a lot of foam, meaning you had to wait every time before you could continue tapping. The other machines worked fine. 4.5/5⭐️ Beer The beer selection is limited. Regardless of the partnership with Bavaria, there was actually only one beer option available. A bit more variety would be welcome. 2/5⭐️ Coffee & Slush Puppie Sufficient choice in flavors and combinations. Decent quality without any particular standouts. 4/5⭐️ Food Yakitori Steak This dish bore little resemblance to yakitori. The sauce was mostly a sticky sauce without much flavor, and the meat used was unclear. 1/5⭐️ Squid Rings Standard squid rings without any special features. 2/5⭐️ Sushi The flamed salmon roll was not actually flamed. With the crab sushi, the proportions were off, and the rice did not taste fresh. 3/5⭐️ Curry Spring Roll Contained and tasted barely like curry. The dough even reminded me of speculaas spices. 2.5/5⭐️ Fried Chicken Wing A tough exterior and little flavor. 1/5⭐️ Bitterballen Uncertain what kind of ragout was used. The filling was inconsistent and unconvincing. 1/5⭐️ Chocolate Éclair The filling tasted more like marzipan and anise than chocolate. 1/5⭐️ Mini Cake Roll Not fully thawed inside yet, but otherwise fine in taste. 3.5/5⭐️ Tomato-Cucumber Salad The tomatoes were clearly no longer fresh and looked like they were already a few days old. 1/5⭐️ Melon Cut too close to the rind, causing the hard part to come along. The taste itself was otherwise good. 3/5⭐️ Hot Dishes General Many dishes were lukewarm or cooled down very quickly. 3/5⭐️ T-Bone Steak Well seasoned and cooked well. However, it cooled down quickly and still contained a fair amount of fat. 4/5⭐️ Thai Rice Perfectly seasoned, nicely spicy, and well prepared. 5/5⭐️ Lamb Skewers Tender meat with good spices. Served lukewarm, but still highly recommended. 4.2/5⭐️ Mini Spring Rolls Fine, but cooled down quickly. Additionally, they had a hard-to-describe aftertaste. 3.6/5⭐️ Green Beans Good flavor. It is important to mention, however, that they are prepared on the same griddle as the meat. This makes them less suitable for vegetarians. Overall: 4/5⭐️ Vegetarian: 1/5⭐️ Foe Yong Hai Exactly how you expect it to taste. Well prepared. 5/5⭐️ Asparagus in Bacon Good flavor. The asparagus was already a bit lukewarm, while the bacon was still warm. 4/5⭐️ Fries & Snacks Well fried and of fine quality. 5/5⭐️ Plantain Soft on the inside, good flavor, and ideal as a quick bite. 5/5⭐️ Desserts Spekkoek Soft and well-flavored, just as you are used to. 4.5/5⭐️ Banana Éclair Delicious banana flavor with a good filling. 5/5⭐️ Ice Cream Well maintained and regularly replenished. No crystal formation present. The ice cream did melt a bit faster due to the warm plates. 4.7/5⭐️ Fruit Generally good. The strawberries did still have their crowns on. 4/5⭐️ Tompouce & Muffin Soft, fresh, and exactly how it should taste. 4/5⭐️ Brownie Absolutely one of the highlights. Deliciously soft with a rich chocolate flavor and chunks of chocolate incorporated into it. 5/5⭐️ Final conclusion Atlantis Wereldrestaurant Gouda has clear highs and lows. The Thai rice, lamb skewers, desserts, and T-bone steak were the highlights. I would definitely come back, especially with a larger group or children. However, there are areas for improvement regarding freshness, temperature, and consistency of the dishes. Total 3.5/5⭐️

The service was terrible. The food was undercooked.

They are friendly at the counter. Someone walks with you to show you to a seat and explains how it works. The atmosphere is cozy. It is very suitable for large groups. You pay immediately upon arrival and receive 3 tokens per person for alcoholic drinks. Other drinks are included. You can help yourself as often as you like. The only thing I found unpleasant was that the staff walks past the tables in a continuous stream to clear the empty plates. This results in situations where you are sometimes still finishing your last bite before the plate is taken from under your mouth. That gives a rushed feeling. And the staff responsible for this look so angry. You can book for 2, 2.5, or 3 hours. The time starts running from the moment you pay. There are also different price tags attached. It doesn't make a huge difference, just a few euros.

Spent the night vomiting after eating here, so clearly the vast vats of food they serve here are not fully fresh. Furthermore, the atmosphere is terrible with hundreds of people scrumming around the food areas, they might as well just throw the food into troughs and allow the guests to just eat on their hands and knees, it’s just so horrible.

Today I ate at Atlantis for the first time with a group of four. I can't say enough about the food; it was delicious. But wow, everything is crammed together. What a complete chaos. It's like being seated at a table with a whole row of people; there's very little space between the tables. There's also very little space between the food, so you have to be careful not to knock each other over. Again, the food was delicious, but I've never experienced this chaos at an all-you-can-eat restaurant before.

World-class restaurant with almost everything you can imagine. The selection is truly extensive. The only drawback is the live cooking; food is either flattened or excessively doused in oil and garlic. Everything to clear the line as quickly as possible definitely comes at the expense of quality. The staff is distant and looks at you without saying anything, not very welcoming. The food was good and reasonable, but could be better. I wouldn't recommend it, especially considering the price/quality ratio.

There is no atmosphere in this barn, by the way, the meat they serve is way too salty and overcooked. I would say it's a nice place to send Rob Geus to.

The food is really good, everything is fresh, and it's beautifully presented. The downside is that it's so big that it feels like you're in a stadium, which is a bit of a letdown for me.

We celebrated my birthday here a few years ago, and it was a great time! The restaurant is beautifully laid out and has a cozy atmosphere. It's also very spacious, with plenty of seating. They have a wide selection of dishes. The staff is also helpful and friendly. All in all, a fantastic restaurant. I recommend everyone to go there! 👍😁

Very busy, especially on weekends, but everyone can choose what they like. Fresh poffertjes are highly recommended. It's a shame that the meats like rack of lamb and rib-eye at the back are always cold. Preparing them fresh would make them much tastier. Many types of fish, including crab and oysters. Vegan options are also available. A wide selection of salads and cold pasta salads.

We went here for the first time last Saturday. We didn't find most of the food we ordered particularly fresh or tasty. Except for the ingredients, they were freshly made right in front of us. The wok was the only thing that was really good. There was a lot of food to choose from, but we didn't think it was worth the money.

One of the most extensive wok restaurants I've ever seen in terms of selection, but some things looked better than they actually were. The food itself was just a bit meh. But then again, I certainly didn't try everything. The teppanyaki was disappointing this time; it wasn't bad, but just no better than at other wok restaurants I've been to. It just lacked a bit more flavor. But, asparagus with bacon, chicory with ham and cheese, oysters, a good sushi corner, and the icing on the cake: you can even create a cheese board with all the trimmings—brilliant. I'll definitely be back to try the rest!

One of the better international restaurants with a buffet. Free parking and easy access. The buffet has a wide selection, and the quality is quite good for an international restaurant. However, we found the tables very close together, especially those for two people. This meant there was almost no privacy.

The food was excellent during our visit. Something for everyone, and various dishes are freshly prepared. In my experience, this isn't the place to go for a cozy dinner. But of course, everyone is different. If you're going out with your kids or a group of friends, it's perfectly fine. Everyone can grab/eat whatever they feel like. I personally found it annoying that the takeout staff is so busy. Before you know it, your half-filled plate, or a clean, empty plate, has been taken from the table. This happened several times, even with half-filled glasses. The staff at the kitchen islands do a great job, but their communication skills could use some improvement. It can get very busy with lots of running and screaming children. A fun thing to do.

A nice atmosphere and the staff is very friendly. There is plenty of space for parking and the price-quality ratio is worth 5 stars.
