We always come here with our family. The food is tasty and the staff are very friendly. Sometimes I come here to work on my laptop. Even then, I can work comfortably while enjoying a drink. Nothing to complain about.

First we were served someone else’s food, and the server had no idea what to do. Our food came out much later.. taste was good and fresh. Service can be better.

If you want to eat there and sit down at a table, the intention is for someone to come to your table to take your order, but someone actually needs to come to your table and not have everyone standing behind the counter watching and seeing nothing. It's a real shame; a while ago there was a girl walking around who did it perfectly. Too bad for Verhage, a missed opportunity.

This shop has gone downhill so badly. The staff is antisocial and also causes a nuisance in the shopping center. When you come to order, there is a strange atmosphere; you do not feel welcome at all. This also has to do with the fact that the staff is mainly focused on each other and not on the customers. As a result, something is always forgotten. We don't go there anymore.

Waited 40 minutes for 2 portions of fries, food was cold, then a mistake was made that we had to take it away, and the staff were unfriendly… I won't be going there again.

We ate at Verhage Leidschendam today. The food was good and tasty. The staff behind the counter were very noisy with each other, and you could hear it clearly in the restaurant. It sounded like a football club canteen. Upon leaving, we were given a grumpy thank-you note. (Apparently, they can afford to engage in this behavior.) There was no one present to correct the staff. A real shame for such a nice establishment.

Getting a nice ice cream is very difficult at Verhage. There are three of them standing there chatting extensively. When you ask if someone can help you, they come walking over looking weary. Doesn't make eye contact. When you order a banana ice cream, they say "I didn't say that" without looking at you. This is very disappointing. Not offering any other option. But then again, it was already very difficult to speak to someone.

I finally tried Verhage today. Every time I go there with my girlfriend, they are in a meeting during dinner time. It would be helpful if this were written down somewhere. It is also the last time. I chose takeaway and received my milkshake just a minute after placing the order. It seems logical to me that this would be prepared last to be included with the order. When I pointed this out with a dose of humor, the employee didn't understand, which led to an awkward situation. Then my order was called out, and I noticed that I received chicken bites instead of chicken nuggets. The only response I got was, "Sir, those are worth more and are tastier." I accepted them anyway, and they are spicy, so totally unwanted. Furthermore, the place didn't look very tidy. Leftovers everywhere on the floor in a restaurant that was practically empty, if you can even call it a mess.

Normally I don't write reviews, but this was really not good. I went to Verhage this evening and placed an order, and once I got home I saw that half of my order was missing. I called Verhage immediately. They indicated that it would be on its way right away, but after waiting half an hour, it still hadn't arrived. I called again and the lady on the phone said that it would be on its way immediately. Well, no, we had to wait another 20 minutes. I find it bizarre that we have to wait an hour for two portions of fries. They didn't accommodate us either, and the fries were cold in the end.

We had to wait a long time for the food, and half of it was missing. We ended up having to call twice, and it still took half an hour. In total, we had to wait an hour. Nobody was hungry anymore.

Verhage Leidschenveen is a nice snack bar where you can eat quickly and deliciously. The staff is friendly and helpful, even when it is busy. The service is fast, and orders are usually prepared within a few minutes. The food is of good quality. The fries are crispy and hot, and snacks like croquettes, frikandellen, and burgers always taste good. The portions are also fine, and you get good value for money. The place itself is neat and clean. There is enough space to sit down and eat your food in peace. The atmosphere is cozy, and it feels like a familiar place in the shopping center. What also stands out is that the staff is very friendly. The boy with glasses and brown hair, in particular, is always super nice and helps customers politely. The boy with orange hair is also very friendly and creates a good atmosphere in the shop. All in all, Verhage Leidschenveen is a good place if you are in the mood for a quick and tasty snack. Definitely recommended for people from the neighborhood!

All the sauce hadn't been delivered; they were eating with older people without any mayo or anything in the fridge. The employee offered to have it delivered, but that would be far too late, of course. Cold food with mayo or peanut sauce is inedible. I then asked for a refund and asked if I could send an email about it! I replied: "So you can still have the sauce delivered, but not the money for the sauce for five people?" She said she would still bring the money. Two hours later...: I called again and was on hold for a few minutes before the manager answered the phone. He said: "Oh, I heard someone called and the money didn't need to be delivered anymore..." Unbelievable, what a jerk. I told her to put the money somewhere and that a review would follow. Besides that, the four of us have lunch at Verhage quite regularly on Saturdays, so that won't be happening again. Fortunately, there are still businesses that treat their customers normally if they happen to make a mistake. Good luck.

Unfortunately, I didn't have a good experience with this location. I normally love Verhage, but this one is unfortunately not well-run. I never normally write a review, but I'm going to do it this time, hoping things can change. The staff are mostly focused on each other, instead of preparing the food. Even when it's not busy, you wait ages for your food. Last time, our food came after 25 minutes, and when it finally arrived, the fries were cold (we ate inside). We asked for another order. A few moments later, the same order was in front of us, this time completely soggy and greasy. Yep, soaked in grease again... I'd just hire some women instead of the men who are there now. At least they'll take their work seriously. Too bad!

Very tasty food and friendly service

Today I ordered over €67 worth of menus and had them delivered. Unfortunately, the mayo and peanut sauce weren't included. After a phone call that lasted over five minutes, the sauce could still be delivered. I didn't choose this option because that would have been too late, of course, and everything would have been cold by then. Instead of offering a refund, they said they'd charge €2.80 for delivery. After a few hours, no delivery driver showed up. I called again and was told they'd received a call saying they could keep the money. This is truly unbelievable and the worst service imaginable. Incidentally, I've heard from acquaintances that these kinds of excuses apparently occur frequently at Verhage. In summary, I would advise ordering your snacks elsewhere.

I had dinner with my mother. My fries with mayonnaise were fine, but it was a shame there were a lot of dry, small fries in them.

I ordered a roll with steak tartare. It was very thinly topped. They have a bit more filling in Verhage Delfgauw. A bit of a shame. My husband had a chicken salad, which was good.

Fine coffee from a real coffee maker

We had ordered a healthy sandwich. Price 5.80 each. We wanted sandwiches and received two pieces of bread with a slice of cheese on each piece, and a wafer-thin slice of ham spread over the two slices of bread so that there was a very small piece of ham on every slice. On top of that was a mountain of lettuce, two slices of tomato, and two slices of cucumber. There were also a few slices of egg. When I asked a member of the wait staff about it, he told me that this was normal. I must honestly say that I found it scandalous. Or is it just that you pay almost six euros for almost a full plate of rabbit food?

For the umpteenth time, part of the order was forgotten; really a recurring problem with this Verhage.

The fries tasted like nothing, the peanut sauce was cold (?), the bitterballen were lukewarm and also tasted like nothing.

Dear Verhage, This afternoon I had a burger with bacon at your place, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The burger itself had little to no flavor and seemed unseasoned. The lettuce on the burger was partially discolored and didn't look fresh—something that really shouldn't be served to customers. The only thing that gave the burger any flavor was the bacon and the BBQ sauce. I hope this will be addressed more in the future so that the quality of the dishes better meets expectations.

Verhage Leidschenveen looks spacious and well-kept on the inside, with a calm and relaxed atmosphere. We were immediately helped in a friendly manner by an employee who asked what we wanted to drink. On the advice of someone, we tried the luxury milkshake, and it was really delicious, definitely worth trying. The fries with truffle mayonnaise and the toasted sandwich with salmon were also very tasty. Definitely a place where we would like to come back!

Delivery time was set to “as soon as possible”. After an hour I called to see what was going on. It turned out that the entire order still had to go into the fryer. In the end I waited an hour and a half for cold fries… I will order somewhere else next time.. an hour and a half is really too long, especially for a simple order.

I’ve been ordering from Verhage quite frequently for the past 1.5 years but never visited the restaurant for dinner. Delivery is always fast, often arriving earlier than estimated, and the packaging and presentation are great. The ingredients are fresh, the meat is perfectly cooked, and the quality has never disappointed. I highly recommend Verhage!

Come here always for the yummy raaspatat and cheeseburger. I love those skinny, crunchy raaspatat served in a cute retro style cone shaped. They also have a big selection of ice cream. The toppings have a lot of variety as well. The atmosphere is cosy and chill. Staff are always nice. They even have a fun playbarea for the kids. A whole room just for them. Super nice.

Just had food here for the first time, and it was disappointing. Burgers were meh, for some reason the sesame flavor of the bun was the most overpowering, apparently there wasn't much flavor in the rest of the ingredients. Fries were unsalted (and wrong), sweet chili sauce not recommended because of the soapy taste.

Verhage offers an attractive environment and smooth service. Matters are handled quickly. However, the personal contact with the employees could have received more attention. More interaction would make the experience more complete. Overall a positive experience, but there is room for improvement in customer contact.
