The fries tasted like nothing, the peanut sauce was cold (?), the bitterballen were lukewarm and also tasted like nothing.

Ordered three portions of chicken bites for the grandchildren, they were so spicy, they could have thrown them away, way too expensive, more than a euro each

We enjoyed a delicious ice cream. Definitely recommended in this hot weather.

Goto place for chicken and veg burgers. Actually, never ever liked the burgers my whole life before I stumbled on to here thanks to my wife.

Dear Verhage, This afternoon I had a burger with bacon at your place, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The burger itself had little to no flavor and seemed unseasoned. The lettuce on the burger was partially discolored and didn't look fresh—something that really shouldn't be served to customers. The only thing that gave the burger any flavor was the bacon and the BBQ sauce. I hope this will be addressed more in the future so that the quality of the dishes better meets expectations.

Verhage Leidschenveen looks spacious and well-kept on the inside, with a calm and relaxed atmosphere. We were immediately helped in a friendly manner by an employee who asked what we wanted to drink. On the advice of someone, we tried the luxury milkshake, and it was really delicious, definitely worth trying. The fries with truffle mayonnaise and the toasted sandwich with salmon were also very tasty. Definitely a place where we would like to come back!

We wanted to order at the counter but then an employee came to ask if we wanted to eat there or take away and then referred us to a table where the order was taken. Very neat! Delicious food, we have been here before.

Pleasant restaurant with friendly service, an extensive menu, clean tables and table service. The interior was neat and we were helped nicely, even 30 minutes before closing time. We could dine there quietly.

Delivery time was set to “as soon as possible”. After an hour I called to see what was going on. It turned out that the entire order still had to go into the fryer. In the end I waited an hour and a half for cold fries… I will order somewhere else next time.. an hour and a half is really too long, especially for a simple order.

I’ve been ordering from Verhage quite frequently for the past 1.5 years but never visited the restaurant for dinner. Delivery is always fast, often arriving earlier than estimated, and the packaging and presentation are great. The ingredients are fresh, the meat is perfectly cooked, and the quality has never disappointed. I highly recommend Verhage!

Come here always for the yummy raaspatat and cheeseburger. I love those skinny, crunchy raaspatat served in a cute retro style cone shaped. They also have a big selection of ice cream. The toppings have a lot of variety as well. The atmosphere is cosy and chill. Staff are always nice. They even have a fun playbarea for the kids. A whole room just for them. Super nice.

Just had food here for the first time, and it was disappointing. Burgers were meh, for some reason the sesame flavor of the bun was the most overpowering, apparently there wasn't much flavor in the rest of the ingredients. Fries were unsalted (and wrong), sweet chili sauce not recommended because of the soapy taste.

Verhage offers an attractive environment and smooth service. Matters are handled quickly. However, the personal contact with the employees could have received more attention. More interaction would make the experience more complete. Overall a positive experience, but there is room for improvement in customer contact.

NEVER AGAIN FOR ME!! I am truly shocked by the rude and unprofessional treatment I experienced at Verhage Leidschenveen. The staff yelled at me and unreasonably demanded that I leave the restaurant, without any explanation or even an attempt to resolve the situation in a mature manner. What was worst is that no apologies were offered at all from management. Not one word of apology for the unfair treatment, nothing at all. The staff seemed to think it was completely normal to speak to a customer in this way, while other guests became visibly uncomfortable and left the restaurant due to the bizarre situation. This is completely unacceptable and ridiculous for a restaurant that apparently calls itself 'professional'. I am furious at how I have been treated and this is definitely the last time I am here. This restaurant has no respect for its customers whatsoever, and I strongly discourage anyone from even setting foot in here. It is clear that customer friendliness and decency are not on the agenda here at all.

What a racist experience. We have never experienced a colleague of ours being treated so poorly. An employee who is shouting loudly at a young girl in the store. I've never experienced this before! The manager who is most likely behind this behavior as he said nothing about it and just allowed it!!!! Unprecedented, 2024 and still have to experience this? Without going into too much detail, the entire store is half empty after this show! And rightly so, whoever is behind this injustice will probably not be 100! Never again will we go here....!!!!

You pay a different amount per employee. One charges packaging costs and the other does not. They already went up when the plastic/packaging tax started. Fortunately, food is always tasty!

Came today, it was indeed busy when I came. I ordered a small salad and I had to wait 45+ min for it. I asked 2 about the order, they did not even prepare it when I asked the first time and the second time when I asked is when they started to make it finally. I am not a difficult person, but maybe you should hire more people or come up with a solution.

It's a brilliantly decorated establishment, with delicious food freshly cooked! One thing, its that they seem to slightly mess up your order when it's busy (asked for no tomato on one burger, got no tomatoes on both). It seems that the crew falters under stress. Of course, I don't blame them, but it's something worthy of note. They're a great restaurant outside of peak hours, though!

3 maaltijden besteld om thuis op te eten. De frites heeft ongeveer 15 minuten onder de lamp gestaan omdat het stoofvlees nog niet goed was. Naast de lamp lag een vaatdoek en aan de andere kant stond iemand een doos uit te ruimen. De deksel van de doos kwam tegen de frites aan. De klant voor mij kreeg frites met mayonaise, terwijl hij zonder had besteld. “Neem maar mee, zit wel goed” was het commentaar. Deze klant haalde zijn schouders op en ging. Eindelijk kwam het stoofvlees. Gelijk naar huis. 4 min. duurt deze reis. Patat heel slap en lauw. Stoofvlees was duidelijk niet goed opgewarmd. We hebben alles gelijk weg gegooid. Het is niet zo dat er te weinig personeel is, eerder te veel. Iedereen beweegt, maar er komt nauwelijks actie bij deze kinderen, want dat zijn het : kinderen, die ook niet ingewerkt worden. De tv is belangrijker (die constant aan stond ivm voetbal, in plaats van de aanbiedingen en acties). Bijna 30 euro weg gegooid: SCHANDE!
