Got takeout yesterday and it was delicious. Only, at the office, we discovered something had gone wrong: the cheese soufflé hadn't been ordered, and the peanut sauce came with the fries instead of mayo. After calling the office, they delivered it anyway. That's what you call good service! They're always kind and hard-working <3

It's such a shame the fries were just fried. They were still limp and white. The bami snack fell apart because it was cooked far too short. I think the frikadel was left out so long it was completely shriveled. I won't be going back.

Delicious food and friendly staff. We came here with a group of children, and they were so helpful. Even when one of them dropped a glass in tears, the staff member reassured her sweetheart and got her a new drink. The kids were happy, and so were we!

We placed an online order for home delivery. We placed this order at 5:27 PM, expecting the delivery to be as fast as possible. It finally arrived around 6:20 PM (almost an hour). We understand this may have been due to various circumstances (the Dutch national team played at 6:00 PM on October 12th), so it must have been a busy time with orders. This is understandable, but once the food arrived, we were slightly disappointed. The food itself was fine and tasted good, but it was lukewarm. So we had to wait almost an hour and pay a hefty price for lukewarm food. This is very disappointing for food that can taste absolutely delicious. I hope this company can improve its delivery speeds or keep food warm longer in the future, because this was slightly disappointing.

The guy at the counter wasn't in the mood today. He had this "get out of here" attitude. If you don't like your job, find something else.

This afternoon I ordered a chicken satay menu, and the staff helped me with the various options. It was ready in 10 minutes, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's a great place! Tyreq is a great employee!

A great place for a quick yet delicious meal in Ypenburg! The seating is comfortable and you're served at your table by friendly staff. The menu offers a wide variety of choices. The satay menu and chicken fillet burger are highly recommended. The chicken fillet bites are also delicious. Even though it can get quite busy (people sometimes wait outside), you're always served promptly. It's also nice that the kids always get a little something with their children's menu. Without a doubt: my favorite spot for a quick bite in Ypenburg!

Four staff members are busy with a large order and cleaning one of the deep fryers. So I wait patiently. When the large order is ready, no one comes to take my order; they're too busy with each other. I wait patiently. Finally, the staff only takes action when another customer comes in and is helped, still ignoring me. Well, like it or not.

I was here with my friends and one friend ordered fries and then we and we had to wait a really long time, then we asked again and then we thought, well, he's coming, but no, the staff first makes a bitterballen sandwich for themselves.

Ordering from this place requires patience. It takes more than 20 minutes between ordering something simple and actually receiving it. There are plenty of staff members who are just doing their thing. But mostly, they're reading order slips and then running off like a headless chicken. I don't understand how everyone can maintain their patience.

My advice…don’t eat here. Where to start… First of all, it was so busy. Lots of people talking loudly, really bothering others. Tables were full of empty plates. We had to ask 3 times if our table could be cleaned. When that finally happened, we got salt residue and food residue on our side and the employee didn’t take this into account. In the meantime, we waited at least 30 minutes before we got our food (people who came to pick up got their food first, and no, they ordered on the spot!) To make matters worse, the steakhouse beef burger was still raw on the inside. When we went to an employee about this, they simply said, this is normal. Indicates that this is part of the type of meat. However, we expressed our doubts and asked what type of meat it should be. No answer could be given to this. Tried to remove the raw part so that we could still eat something, and the burger was just hard. Very special. Fries were lukewarm. Menu but not even with drinks. Waste of money. I have seen better branches. Never again!

Very friendly ladies working who immediately noticed me when I walked in. I ordered a fries war and two snacks, which were brought to me very quickly despite the crowds. Cold fries, cold fries. Ask for a beef croquette and get a veal croquette. Order 1 large rasp fries and 2 small ones. The big one was also small, when I go back she says this is big. Unsanitary. It was almost closing. Were cleaning. Trays of fries were pushed across the floor. Really dirty. Staff doesn't look fresh. I don't get food there anymore.

The food is, as at other Verhage branches, excellent. But what a raunchy mess it was here. There were crumbs, used napkins or used crockery on all tables. There were also food remains on many chairs and sofas. There was a layer of dust on the room dividers that was not just a week's old. All this could be prevented with relatively little effort.

Unpleasant affair. No greeting upon entering, had to wait extremely long while staff was mainly concerned with themselves and walked around complaining and the place looked dirty. Fries and milkshake were tasty, but all in all a mediocre experience.

Deze Verhage is een absolute teleurstelling. Qua hygiëne ondermaats. Salades worden met blote handen gemaakt omdat even een handschoen aandoen te veel werk is. Net nog 20 minuten voor sluitingstijd geprobeerd een ijsje te halen maar de ijsmachine was al schoongemaakt. Zeg dan gewoon dat je om 21.15 dicht gaat.

Went for the 2nd time last night. Last time. Not planning on going again. I think it is quite pricey for the price and quantity. You order large fries and sauce, and you expect the amount of sauce to be adjusted accordingly, but alas. You also wonder what the difference is between a large and normal portion...little to no difference in quantity. Service is really bad and not friendly. Apparently it is very difficult to serve a bottle of drink at the table on time. Tables and floor are really dirty.

Picked up at Verhage in Ypenburg. While waiting I noticed how dirty this place actually is... I pointed out to the "manager" a particularly dirty slushy machine. His response was "oh, okay" and he happily continued baking croquettes. No intention of doing anything about it. The counter is dirty, the floor is sticky, there are dust bunnies hanging from the lamps... This is the last time they have seen me!

Had to wait more than half an hour for pick-up, staff argued among themselves, food was cold, everything at home was put in the air fryer to warm up. This was a good thing, went to 1 star in about a year. Shame on the company. From now on, getting fries from the supermarket is faster, tastier and also more enjoyable and cheaper

Order placed via home delivery and then suddenly cancelled. Later I get a call and am told we can still make it and I am asked if I want it. I ask if I should order again and get a no. I'm waiting for my food and I get a call again about 10 minutes later. Yes, we cannot deliver your food because then you have not paid. At that moment I ask if I have to pay more at the first call because my parents have deposited money for food and otherwise I don't have enough, I ask if it is necessary and I get a no. I get a call later that it has to be done. What bad service. You will then be left without food but have to wait 5 days for your money back.

I rate this Verhage with other locations. Although the food was fine, I didn't think the atmosphere (looks of the place) was the best of the ones I've been to before. When we came to eat there were also quite a few young people there, who have a different outlook on life than our older fellow human beings. Perhaps this contributes to what has already been a long day for us.

After a long walk we were so hungry. When we arrived at Leidseveen we saw a restaurant. There we ordered, to our delight, two portions of grated fries. Large portions and well fried. Delicious and the price was good too. The staff was friendly and you could also sit comfortably. Clean and tidy. The name of the restaurant is Verhage.

Altijd kom ik regelmatig voor een groot softijs . Daar betaal ik nu €2,35 voor . Tot mijn verbazing helpt een jongeman mij en komt met een soort kinderijsje aanlopen . Dus ik zeg : dit meen je niet … Ik kom hier altijd en dit is geen grote softijs . Ja hoor … Nou ik wil hem dus niet : geef mij mijn geld maar terug en ik kom hier dan nooit meer . Zegt ineens de andere medewerker die er al die tijd bijstond : Ja jongen dit kan niet …. Loopt naar de ijsmachine en maakt een softijs en zegt : Zie je nu het verschil !!!!! Al die tijd tijdens ons gesprek zei hij niks totdat ik mijn geld terug vroeg . Voel me belazerd en niet serieus genomen terwijl ik daar steevast een ijsje haal bedenking me nu wel twee keer en ga wel ergens anders halen
