Vermaat Winkels/Restaurants Holding B.V. in Wijk 02 Almere Stad

Tantoe (aka terribly) expensive: 3 brown rolls, 2 packets of cheese, 1 butter roll and 2 filled cookies; €16..... that was the last time for now. Have a nice game, Mr. Vermaat.....👋🏼

The prices are truly absurd. There's a change, but the old setting had far more options and a wider selection. Now, it's over-prepared and offers little variety.

Two cups of cappuccino, two sausage rolls. €14. The rolls were incredibly bland, and you had to search for coffee because of the enormous amount of foam.

Today (Saturday) at Flevo Hospital, an hour and a half before closing time, it wasn't possible to sit normally/was closed due to cleaning (?). The staff were two millennials, slumped over their phones. When I put the tray on the counter, someone looked up from the phone and asked me to put it in the cart. Fortunately, he didn't have to move from his slumped position and was able to continue using his phone right away. Apparently, the children run the daycare.

I had a “small” chicken soup yesterday in the restaurant of the Flevoziekenhuis. That was a tiny bowl of chicken soup from a can (!!) and paid €4.25 for it!!! Sorry. But that is a ridiculous amount of money. Once but never again.

The cash register wasn't working. Customers weren't informed. They just stood around waiting. Cash payment wasn't an option either, which is easy enough. Just write down your order and pick it up later. Waited 15 minutes for nothing.

No lactose-free dairy products or gluten-free bread. I really can't stand it.

Super cozy Vermaat restaurants. Everything is homemade and super fresh every day.

The quality and selection are more than adequate. But why only two stars? I think a hospital should also have a restaurant. But one that's accessible to everyone. I also find the prices exorbitant.

The price/quality ratio is nowhere to be found; it almost reeks of fraud to dare to ask €3.10 for a simple warm cheese roll. Prices at a gas station along a highway are generally lower.

I'm used to a lot of Vermaatjes, but in Almere you really get spoiled. Everything from cheese sandwich, croquette and soup at Vermaat Almere is fresh and clean.
