A quick trip to Savonije in Lonneker. When you go inside, the smells of delicious fresh bread already reach you! Nice, such a real baker, in addition to all kinds of fresh breads and rolls, also got the tastiest spice cake and very clever of us, (just) being able to resist the temptation to bring another cake that we could taste a piece of. But of course that will come along next time. Thank you Savonije for all these beautiful things during the weekend!

Zaterdag deelden ze gebak uit op het winkelcentrum Deppenbroek, vast georganiseerd door de winkeliersvereniging. Ontzettend lekkere appelgebak, niet eerder zo'n lekkere appelgebak gehad. Niet teveel rozijnen en heerlijk deeg en heerlijke stukjes appel.

Kleine dorpsbakker, handig om in de buurt te hebben. Brood en banket zijn vers en smaken prima, alleen snijden ze de boterhammen veel te dun (nog dunnere plakken dan in de supermarkt), beter om brood ongesneden te kopen.

Veldhoflanden 17My daughter was invited to a children's party here which she was super excited about. I received photos and videos from the mother while the children were in the kitchen wearing aprons to make cakes, snacks, cookies and many different things under the guidance of two attentive ladies. Because of my daughter's enthusiasm, I booked the same party for her. But how disappointing this suddenly was. The children were not allowed to prepare anything in the kitchen. There was a table ready with orange juice and a lady brought apples to one with paring knives. Here she says you can peel it and then fold it into a still frozen puff pastry and she left the table again. That's how it went with everything. Here please, I'll pick it up again in a moment. So I as a mother helped the children. The range of snacks was also very different. In the photos of the other party you saw that they were making cakes and many beautiful things. Now it was frankfurter sandwich, apple turnover, muffin, tompouce and a Liège waffle to decorate and a sandwich. The children were also loudly reminded by staff and passing guests to be quieter and not to run. But if 8 children are not entertained, they will run. All in all, two very different experiences for the same price, which is a shame because I would have given my daughter the same beautiful party. My dissatisfaction is known, it was said on the spot: they do the same thing here at the table as they did in the kitchen. But unfortunately the photos prove the opposite.
