The food here is good. I think this back area looks quite messy when you compare it to Enschede.

After arriving at Apeldoorn Station by bike, soaked through by the rain, I was warmly welcomed. I was given a towel to dry off and could rest inside, which was much appreciated. My wife was allowed to wait inside for 2 hours while I went to pick up the car by train. She was even allowed to stay and wait after closing time. So, a top-notch Bakker Bart branch 👍🙏👍👌🙏

We came here on the recommendation of a tour guide. So... Wow, nice. They have "sponge" cookies/cakes in the style of marble cake, the coffee is excellent, the atmosphere is pleasant, and basically everything works. Was it a defining moment in my life? No. Did I go home and tell people that I had a culinary experience that changed my worldview? No way. The coffee, on the other hand, was really good. And that's important, because good coffee is about the only thing that can make me stop in the middle of a day's travel and remember why I went there in the first place. The cakes are nice, the coffee is good, the place is nice. I wouldn't travel all the way from Amsterdam just for this, but if you're in the Apeldoorn area, it's definitely worth stopping by. Then I discovered that it's actually a chain. I mean, it turns out that "nice, let's go in" is also a business model.
