A beautiful restaurant with delicious food. The price-quality ratio is good.

Sept 30, 2026. In the evening, we had spaghetti bolognese and saffron seafood risotto. It was delicious! Fresh, al dente, and no ambiguity regarding the price. The desserts (panna cotta and tiramisu) were very flavorful and homemade. The service was prompt and friendly. Highly recommended as far as we are concerned. Hilda and Sjoert

Bad. The fish on the pizza was, among other things, Surimi, a product made from ground fish scraps and flavorings, salt, sugar, and colorings. Junk. My fiancé ate Bolognese and complained about the minced meat: it looked like artificial mince. There was also a piece of plastic in it. You are shamelessly presented with the bill. The owner even apologized for the bad fish.

As a pizza lover, I can say that I have rarely eaten such delicious, well-topped pizzas. A real treat! Top👌🏼 We will definitely be back 😉

I ate here 3 times during my holiday. I think that says enough. I certainly enjoy Italian food on vacation, so I have visited quite a few at home and abroad. But this is definitely one of the best.

Ordered 5 pizzas. Received polite assistance with ordering. Pizzas were ready on time and tasted very good as well.

On Whit Sunday, we had a wonderful meal at your restaurant. Before we post a negative review on Google, I would like to mention the following. We ordered Tavola Italaliana. In hindsight, perhaps not the best choice, as we were really stared at. (Perhaps it could have been mentioned that this was not feasible time-wise.) The dishes were still on the table and the glasses were already being collected. While one of our table companions was still eating dessert, the card reader was already brought out. There is a real lack of hospitality here!! I also feel sorry for the young girls who had to carry this out. I really hope you respond to this, because after the hefty bill, the hangover was huge!! The owner's response, after several emails, was: You should do what makes you happy. Perhaps also have some understanding for a long, hot, and tiring weekend.

The calzone was a bit lukewarm on the inside, while the sauce on top was so hot that you almost burned your tongue. The Leffe Blond was initially served in a bottle (and in the wrong glass, to boot), even though a draft version had been requested. The subsequent Leffe Blond *was* served on tap, but again poured into the same wrong (too small) glass. A shame, especially considering the €6.50 one has to pay for it. Otherwise, the food was quite tasty and the service friendly, but the overall experience is quite pricey: nearly €8 for a double espresso is really steep.

Had a tasty meal, not too expensive. Allergies and dietary requirements were taken into excellent consideration. You can eat vegan.

We received a warm welcome on Sunday afternoon and enjoyed an authentic Italian pizza (just like the one we had at Lake Maggiore, my friend said). I had a pizza with carpaccio on top—delicious! Friendly service, served quickly, and a truly delicious meal at a great price. "Nonna's" tiramisu topped it off beautifully. This restaurant is a true asset to Ootmarsum. Thank you, and we hope to see you again!

Very tasty. The decor is a matter of taste. The service was very attentive and quick. The wine is too expensive for the quality; drink beer instead, it's good and better.

The food, and especially the pizza, were delicious. I really enjoyed sitting there; it was a quiet and pleasant place. The service was fast, and the staff was always friendly and smiling.

I couldn't get home fast enough because of the growing stomach pain. I made it to the toilet just in time.

Nearly empty on Saturday evening, which should have said enough. I was looking forward to the fresh spaghetti aglio e olio, but got spaghetti from a package. When I asked, the lady said boredly, "No, we only make it ourselves in the summer," and when I pointed out that it's wrong on the menu: "Oh, then I'll have to change my menu." No apology for the misrepresentation. I gave the rest of the food a try, but meh. The cap of the wine bottle was broken and came off completely. There was no reason to offer a different wine either. After dinner, I ordered an affogato and asked for it to be brought when we'd finished the wine. But no, I got an espresso with a scoop of ice cream in front of me, and then I drank the wine anyway. What terrible and indifferent service.

Great food. Excellent service. Had a lovely evening. The pizza was well-topped with fresh ingredients. A good thin crust. Delicious pistachio ice cream. One minor point... The music, but that may be a matter of taste. Tip: Some nice oldies by Zucchero and his contemporaries; Italian music was quite popular back then.

With a group of at least 30 people, who generally have high culinary standards, we thoroughly enjoyed a perfect shared dinner. The chef gave it his all, creating original and culinary masterpieces. One surprise after another. Italy at its finest! The service was attentive, cheerful, and professional. The space was cozy and clean. The bill was satisfactory. All the guests went home enthusiastic. We werden al slecht ontvangen, heel kortaf en niet vriendelijk. De vrouw die ons ontving negeerde de eerste persoon die het terras op kwam, om vervolgens ons heel kortaf te sturen naar de tafel in de hoek. Niet eens een ‘hallo’ of een ‘welkom’ of iets in die trand. Vervolgens duurde het minstens 5 minuten voor we onze menukaarten kregen. Er was geen drankenkaart, dus ik vroeg of er coctails waren. Dit werd even gevraagd en toen dezelfde mevrouw van eerder naar onze tafel kwam was ze weer gast onvriendelijk en kortaf, zeglopen terwijl ze antwoord gaf op mn vraag. de serveerder bleef wel vriendelijk gelukkig, al kwam ie wat chaotisch over. we hebben minstens een kwartier gewacht voor ze onze bestelling kwamen afnemen, terwijl andere tafels wel geholpen werden. het eten zelf was wel prima, niet het beste maar we hebben wel genoten. Toen we wat drinken wouden bestellen hebben we uiteindelijk zelf maar naar binnen moeten gaan om te vragen of we nog wat mochten bestellen, omdat ze gewoon niet meer langskwamen. op een gegeven moment waten we klaar om toetje te bestellen, dus we kregen weer menukaarten. Alleen nu weer duurte het 20 minuten voor ze bij ons kwamen voor de bestelling, en toen ze het ons kwamen brengen waren ze de helft vergeten te brengen. de tiramisu porties waten overigens niet gelijk, en een van ons kreeg een veel grotere portie dan de ander. wat verschil kan natuurlijk gebeuren maar dit was wel heel dramatisch . uiteindelijk zaten we er meer dan 2 uur (we waren nog aan het eten toen ze dicht waren gegaan) en het grootendeels daarvan was het wachten op het kunnen bestellen. Niet aan te raden, en de volgende keer gaan we toch maar ergens anders heen.

We were a bit disappointed. The staff tried their best but apparently had no "feel" for the hospitality industry. Friendly and helpful, but that's about it.

We hebben ruim een uur gezeten voordat het eten kwam. Terras zat ook vol, maar binnen was het bijna leeg. We hadden brood vooraf, medewerker liet een broodje vallen, liet het liggen en bracht ook geen nieuwe. Glutenvrije pizza was echt niet lekker. Ik kan aardig vergelijken met anderen glutenvrije pizza’s, deze was echt niet lekker (bodem), beleg wel. Vrij prijzig ook, dan hebben we wel eens lekkerder gegeten.

Wij hebben ontzettend lekker gegeten op een mooie locatie in het centrum van Ootmarsum. We zijn goed en vriendelijk geholpen en er is een leuke sfeer.

Op deze heerlijke nazomerdag van 22 september gingen we een hapje eten bij Via Grande. Zag er gezellig uit, plekje op terras, drankjes werden opgenomen door vriendelijke serveerster. So far so good. Eten besteld, penne con pollo en penne punto di filetto of wel penne met kip en roomsaus en kaas, en penne met puntjes ossenhaas en tomatensaus en kaas. Echter toen het eten gebracht werd bleek de penne met kip in een rode saus te liggen. Dezelfde saus als over de ossenhaas. Ik informeerde bij de bediening, in dit geval een jongeman, of ik het nu verkeerd begrepen had want ik verwachtte geen rode saus. Ik vroeg of hij even op de menukaart wilde kijken. Dat ging hij doen en toen hij terug kwam zei hij dat het een Italiaanse keuken was en dat de penne in de saus gekookt werd. Ik zei dat ik roomsaus had besteld en toen veranderde de toon." ik ga niet met u in discussie en ik heb geen zin in gezeik, dan kunt u beter gelijk vertrekken" en dit op zeer boze, onbeschofte toon. Ik ben niet iemand die reviews schrijft maar dit was werkelijk te belachelijk voor woorden. Wij hebben zijn advies maar gelijk opgevolgd en zijn vertrokken en zullen hier zeker nooit weer terugkomen.

We gingen voor het 3 gangen verrassingsbezoek en het was fantastisch! Het zeer uitgebreide en gevarieerde voorgerecht. Het hoofdgerecht waarbij wij beiden voor vlees (ribeye) of vis (kabeljauw) konden kiezen en tenslotte een heerlijk dessert. Op het terras, gezelligheid maar niet te druk zoals in het centrum. De bediening was uitstekend!

We hebben hier voor diner voor het drie-gangenmenu gekozen. Vooraf tomaten- of champignonsoep deze was goed. Zo ook de ribeye. En als desert tiramisu. De bediening was vriendelijk.

Wat een gastvrijheid en super eten! Door omstandigheden waren we ontzettend laat (20.30) dat we belden of we nog een pizza mochten eten. Geen probleem zeiden ze (en dat op een gewone maandag). Wat een top bediening en ontvangst, heerlijke (rode) wijn en wellicht twee van de beste pizza’s die we ooit gegeten hebben. Het werd een verrassend gezellige avond! Ook de sfeer en aankleding van het restaurant is echt top.

Vorige week met zijn zessen een heerlijke avond doorgebracht op het terras van dit Italiaanse restaurant. Heerlijk, omdat het prachtig weer was en heerlijk vanwege de gerechten die we voorgezet kregen. Heerlijke vitello tonata en verrukkelijke funghi als voorgerecht. Ook de merluza , de gamba's in knoflook en de ravioli met paddenstoelen en truffelsaus waren erg lekker. Ruime keuze aan vegetarische gerechten. Vlotte en attente bediening. Prima prijs/kwaliteitverhouding.

Last night we enjoyed delicious starters with a friend, salmon and cod... large portions and really tasty! Service was smooth and friendly, we sat comfortably on the terrace. Everything just felt right. Nice chef, compliments for the food.

This afternoon we took a walk through the Siepelmarkt. Had a drink with a friend on the way back. Friendly waitress took the order. Took a very long time before we received the ordered item. I've never seen a waitress bring drinks like that. The glass was just barely pressed under her arm and she clearly didn't feel like it. We were enjoying our drinks when a man arrived and told us to move to another table because the wind was blowing and the parasol needed to be taken down. Many places were reserved. The grumpy lady said we could sit further away in a dark corner. I planned to walk away and leave my drink and not pay either. What rude people. When I paid and told the friendly waitress that the friendliness of the manager could be improved, she confirmed this with something we hear more often. So this is not a terrace that I visit often.

Had a nice and delicious meal here today. Compliments for the service. However, we unfortunately noticed that the (presumably?) owner reprimanded her staff unkindly on several occasions. While as far as we are concerned, she is fortunate to have such cheerful and hardworking staff. After all, good catering staff is very scarce. When you give your staff instructions; do this professionally and therefore behind the scenes. Hence 5 stars for service, 1 for atmosphere.

After reading the latest reviews, I was a bit apprehensive about having dinner with 9 people. But what a great evening! Extremely nice owner and staff. Delicious food. Worth repeating! Excellent price/quality ratio.

Ate here with a few people 7 days ago. I don't like to put people down, but this food was really bad. The lady of the house just walks around with an angry face and is downright rude. In recent days I have only heard negative comments about her. I also heard a lot that the local population stays away completely. I also read the reviews and everyone stays away mainly because of her rude behavior. I feel sorry for her husband because he is quite a nice guy (the cook). We will never come here again and neither will all our friends and acquaintances. A heartfelt piece of advice to the owner of this restaurant. It is better that you keep your wife out of the restaurant and then you will see that your restaurant will run much better.

The last Mohican - no other restaurant offers anything to hungry tourists after 7:30 p.m. - pizza is good and the beer tastes good because you are happy because you still get something to eat.

Tried for the 2nd time: A glass of cheap wine for almost 7 euros, and a (frozen) carpacio pizza with pine nuts and arugula that you have to look for. Lots of money, not enough quality.

Ambience zero. The outside of the case is nicer except for the dirty drop-down screen. Interior without atmosphere. Glad we got takeout. The apparently owner walked around in her daily clothes chattering so that everyone heard that the cook was apparently not doing his job properly. Very unprofessional. A young lady serving looked neat, and she can follow that example. The food we brought with us was quite okay, but very few (5) shrimps on a large pizza. . The calzone was very filled with cheese. We won't be coming back here. There is work to be done for this bistro pizzeria.

**Disappointing experience in Italian bistro** The food was very substandard. The pasta was tough and definitely not fresh. The dishes were extremely salty and tasteless, prepared without any care. The pizza clearly contained cheap ingredients. The service was also below par. When the lady at the table next to us asked for a glass of water with her wine, she was told in an unfriendly tone that only Spa blue or red was possible. Then a bottle of Spa blue was opened in the kitchen and only poured at the table. My ice tea was so gross that I even left it. The general atmosphere was unpleasant. A young waitress who politely asked guests if everything was okay was rudely reprimanded by, presumably, the owner. This kind of behavior towards staff is unacceptable. We will never come back here and strongly discourage others from visiting this bistro. There are plenty of other places where both the food and service are better. The only positive was the friendly attitude of the young waitress, who was clearly trying her best despite the circumstances. Be warned. This is my first review ever and hopefully my last bad experience.

We zaten lekker buiten. De ober was heel attent en niet opdringerig. De pizza was heel goed gebakken. Hij was aanvankelijk niet zo gekruid. Maar op verzoek werd ons kosteloos een extra bakje Italiaanse kruiden en kaas gebracht waardoor de pizza nog lekkerder was. 👍

Ordered Pozza Diavola, never had such a bad pizza. I wasn't sure if it was a cheap supermarket pizza. Service was good.

Restaurant was druk bezet. Naast ons werd er een tafeltje tussen gedrukt. Deze gasten zaten erg dicht op ons . Vond ik niet prettig. We vonden het eten niet geweldig . Ik had tagliatelle met gamba’s en courgette maar de courgette zat er niet door. Het eten van mijn man was ook niet over naar huis te schrijven en €3.60 voor een cappuccino die niet te drinken is toch wel een afknapper. Voor ons niet weer . 75 euro besteed ik de volgende keer wel elders.

Vanaf de camping in Ootmarsum hier avondeten gehaald. Ivm. Coeliakie 2x Glutenvrije Diavola en voor mij Calzone Frutti di Mare (normaal). Het was om de vingers bij af te likken. Heerlijke pure smaken, smaakvol deeg, heerlijke tomatensmaak, verse paprika, rode ui en salami. Kortom Genieten! De Calzone was meer dan gevuld, heerlijk deeg en inhoud met zachte knoflooksaus apart(met gluten). Je merkt dat het een restaurant is met aandacht voor product en smaak en Italië naar Nederland haalt. Telefonisch en in het restaurant prettig in omgang en bediening. Dat glutenvrij voor ons net zo makkelijk en lekker voelde zoals in Italië was verwennerij. Een aanrader om voor om te rijden: Grazi mille!

Die Pizza war sehr lecker. Dünner Boden und knuspriger Rand mit frischen Zutaten. So muss eine italienische Pizza sein. Der Service war absolute Spitzenklasse. Sehr freundlich und schnell. Das Ambiente (draußen) war sehr gemütlich und einladend. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Amai. Wat een teleurstelling. We kwamen er voorheen graag.... Nu was t eten best aardig maar niets hoogstaands. Voor wat je uiteindelijk moet betalen is het het niet waard. Coca cola, uit een blikje, €3,50....in een klein glas. Dat wat uit t blikje overbleef ging een ander glas in...voor de volgende gast. Een fles tafelwater €9.50....werkelijk belachelijk. Dame Blanche, 2 bolletjes ijs, een klodder slagroom uit een spuitbus....€9,50.... Tiramisu, een plak dat bijna van je bord waait met een bolletje ijs... €9,50. Werkelijk van de p.t ger.kt! Pasta, ruim €21 voor een redelijk bord. Hoe haal je het in je hoofd om zoveel te vragen. Nu snap ik waarom het terras half leeg was. Op een zonnige zwoele vrijdagavond moet er "gevochten" worden om een plek. Op de andere terassen in Ootmarsum zat het stampvol. Ik snap nu ook waarom. Wat een enorme teleurstelling.

Lekker gegeten en voor een nette prijs

Wij komen regelmatig in Ootmarsum en gaan hier heel graag heen. Het is gewoon heel goed en heel divers. Eerlijk, no nonsense Italiaans eten, zeer hoog op smaak met minimale ingrediënten, echt Italiaans. De ossobucco Milanese is een persoonlijke favoriet geworden. De tiramisu is met recht een specialiteit van het huis. De verschillende menu's zijn een aanrader voor degene die lekker willen tafelen. Ook de pizza's zijn erg goed, origineel en lekker. Voor de vleesliefhebber is er ruime keuze en het vlees wordt mooi gegrild. Er zijn ook verschillende visgerechten, klassieke pasta gerechten en seizoensgebonden gerechten. De bediening is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De gastheer en chef hebben echt passie voor de gerechten en dat proef je terug. Inmiddels is dit ons favoriete restaurant geworden in Ootmarsum, waar je heerlijk onder de luifel kunt zitten. Deze vakantie zijn we 4x geweest :)

Van oester tot pasta, heerlijk! Dames heel vriendelijk en aardig. Gastheer keurig aardig en vriendelijk. Prachtig teras, lekker warm ook door de lampen. Vandaag de hamburger van kip genomen mmmm heerlijk. Het is jammer dat je maar 5 sterren kan geven anders een dikke 10

Het hotel ligt mooi op de heuvel vriendelijk personeel ontbijt en diner niet overdadig maar prima kamers schoon alleen wat oudbollig en een te hoge douche instap

Altijd goed. Kom hier al jaren. Ook met bijzondere eet wensen wordt rekening gehouden. Gewoon top!

Das Restaurant hat eine gute Lage und man kann schön draußen sitzen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen hat uns allerdings nicht geschmeckt, das hat uns nicht an Italien erinnert.

De impressie die wij hadden gekregen via internet was helaas niet zoals wij het ervaren hebben. Onze tafel was nog vies, er lagen veel kruimels op. Niet volgens de HACCP code, wat je immers wel verwacht van een restaurant. De lepels waren ook veel te groot voor de kleine soepkom en we hadden iets meer verwacht van de uitsmijter. De gebakken eieren waren met 2 stuks karig en net genoeg voor één broodje. Het eten was wel heel lekker, daar niks over te klagen.

De carbonara was met heel weinig roomsaus gemaakt en daardoor een beetje vlak.

Leuke, vriendelijke bediening, heerlijk gegeten!
