My "yoghurt with seasonal fruit and granola" was served without any fruit. When I asked, she replied that that's why she'd added a bit more granola.

I buy their bread there, and only THEIR bread! The best bread in town!

I cycled here specifically for a full breakfast. Upon arrival, I was immediately asked what I wanted to drink, which was fine. Meanwhile, I was looking at the menu. Coffee was brought, and the man immediately left after seeing me looking at the menu. I sat with my coffee for over an hour (which I finished after 5 minutes) and made several attempts to get in touch to order breakfast (and another coffee...) but unfortunately, it wasn't.

Just walked in, and an employee immediately came to the table and asked if we could deliver anything. I just had the menu in my hand, so the answer was no, we just got in. Quite expensive for a cheese sandwich: €9.95, 2 slices of old cheese and some lettuce. Ham sandwich: €9.95, 2 slices of ham, pickles, tomato... It must be because of the location that it has to be so expensive. We certainly won't be going back.

Horrible service, they forget to bring the Coffee from time to time, and you have to remind them.

To the owner: Today, tourists were enjoying their Jumbo purchases both inside and outside. I expressed my surprise several times to the manager, but he simply let them sit. So, I'll pay to be allowed to sit there... The survey would previously have been filled with purchases.

Delicious breakfast. Delicious warm rolls, and if you're short on something, they'll even replenish it for you. Highly recommended for a delicious breakfast.

Located in a lovely shopping area, I happened to say "Good morning" here for breakfast. I like the atmosphere, a mix of bistro, bar, and market bustle. The sandwiches were good, a bit overpriced. The service was extremely attentive (crumbs were removed without notice after breakfast and before the second delicious cappuccino, and the table was cleaned; very good). A rating between 4 and 4.5 seems appropriate to me.

Poor value for money. It's probably a bakery that can afford its good location with overpriced sandwiches. By 2 p.m., many items were out, even though it was open until 6 p.m.

It took them 30 minutes to make a smoothie, and another 20 minutes for a croissant — in an empty café. I was about to leave when the croissant was finally ready. What was supposed to be a quick breakfast turned into a long wait. Don’t recommend

Just wanted to order something from them. We have a dog and prefer the shade...understandable. The gentleman wouldn't serve us at a table in the shade that wasn't being used because they were there. Ridiculous!!!! Very customer-friendly, too.

What a disgrace, two thinly sliced bread for 12 euros, scandalous. Service takes a very long time.

We really enjoy coming here either for breakfast during weekends or to buy bread. The service is also great and fast and the food delicious.

Delicious bread, perfect for popping it in the oven at home! This tip was on the bag. I've also ordered a pastry or brownie several times...a real treat!! Beautiful location and friendly staff. Next time I'll stop by for a cup of coffee; so far I've only been there in the afternoons for takeout. Good job!!

Lovely bakery/cafe, everything is baked fresh, I asked for a light side dish, ham with mustard, it came on a large slice of wholemeal bread, I had to share it!

The coffee got served in earthen cups without an ear/handle. Very stylish but stupid with hot coffee. Try and hold the cup without burning your hands is impossible. The food was unimaginative, 3 different grilled breads ordered, and all looked the same and very tasteless. Greasy fried bread. It was served on a wooden plank that had seen the dishwasher too many times.

Ugh, the new height of stinginess in the Netherlands! With a cup of coffee, you still have to pay 1 euro to use the restroom. The Netherlands is the only country in the world where you have to pay to use the restroom. Stinginess at its finest, minimalism!

An ice-coffee does NOT mean a normal coffee with ice cubes. I thought this was a joke at first but it wasn't. Waste of money!

Nice products and place. I use to go there a lot but I have had enough. Unfortunately, one of the ladies working there is always very rude with the customers.

Skip this place... 9.95 for a brown sandwich with cheese, unfortunately the pickles were gone, so I added a radish... What should I think about this... This is actually extremely expensive. Two small cappuccinos and two of those sandwiches, 30 euros... Ka-ching... Never again.

Easy going bakery and coffeehouse. Great menu and delicious food

Absolutely LOVE this place. We went here twice for breakfast and the options for food were incredible. Great prices and everything. However, seeing as I was there for a school trip I only had cash to pay and they only accepted card. However, the AMAZING worker helped us out and we managed to figure out something. Overall, incredible place for breakfast, lunch, and just a nice snack!

First they stock the wrong sandwiches, and then have to pay 42 euros for 3 sandwiches to-go. Money back was impossible because 'debit card only', and the prices would differ so much because we would 'eat it here' while we clearly said take it with you, we will eat it somewhere in the sun. Had to wait 20 minutes for the sandwiches, so I asked inside as they hadn't started on the sandwiches yet. Cancellation was not possible. Terrible service, antisocial tone. Received a voucher for somewhere we don't want to come back to, why don't we get a refund, can we also get it at Albert Heijn, Hema and Jumbo? 'Policy of the case' apparently. The lady had no idea what to do with us and absolutely did not bother to ask or arrange this. The lady angrily followed us and accused us of taking pictures. Absolutely not the case. No excuses, nothing. Save the trouble, terrible tent.

Broodjes waren nogal smakeloos en zeer matig belegd. De bediening was, op de manager na, ook zeer matig. Niet voor herhaling vatbaar.

Best Saucijzenbroodjes I’ve had in the Netherlands and I’ve eaten many.

Om 15.45 uur geprobeerd een tosti voor onze kinderen te bestellen en een warme sandwich voor ons beiden. 3 personeelsleden aanwezig die vooral veel tijd hadden om rond te kijken komen ons doodleuk vertellen dat “de keuken net gesloten was”. Terwijl deze lunchzaak om 18.00 uur sluit….. Fail!

Met zijn drieën geluncht bij Vlaamsch Broodhuys in Den Haag. We bestelden 2 cappuccino en 1 latte machiato. Beetje vreemd dat de cappuccino in een kommetje zonder oor en zonder schoteltje zat, maar de koffie smaakte goed. Alledrie bestelden we PROEVERIJ VAN DIMITRI’S BOTERHAMMEN, wat niet meer bleek te zijn dan een in 4 stukken gesneden bruine zuurdesem boterham op een houten plankje (à 13,95), summier belegd met EI-TRUFFELSALADE, RILLETTES VAN MAKREEL (makreel spread), AVOCADO EN FETA (Avocado spread met Feta kruimeltjes) en BOERENKIPSALADE. In een Broodhuis, gespecialiseerd in brood had ik heerlijk vers brood verwacht met een knapperige korst, maar helaas waren de korsten taai. Begrijpelijk dat ik deze tent niemand zal aanraden voor lunch.

Today we bought Olive bread and Focaccia bread. Both were stale! Especially the olive bread was literally from yesterday. If i was not far, I would go back to leave them back to the store. It is very disappointing to find this out ay home on our sunday breakfast table that we were enthusiastically prepared.

The price is not matching the service you get! You do get a more friendly service in McDonald's for sure!

Excellent bakery with great bread and sandwiches

Incredible edibles! The brown bread (we bought a quarter loaf) was great. Friendly and helpful staff. The ham with Gouda and the pesto chicken were also very good sandwiches.

Special: I see here on Google that the closing time of the Vlaamschbroodhuys on the Frederik Hendrikstraat is 5 o'clock... I sat on the terrace at half past three to work from there. I asked the friendly waitress if they were almost closing and said "no". 20 minutes later a less friendly waitress comes and asks if I want to order anything because she is closing soon. Attempt 1: how strange, your colleague just said something different. She shrugs…. Attempt 2: if I order something, can I stay seated for a while? Because I have an online meeting NO, she says bluntly, I'm going to clean up the terrace... Attempt 3: isn't it strange to ask if I want anything and then immediately clean up the terrace? Now it remains quiet. I would say don't go. There are so many nicer places on the Fred.

Wow. Best bakery around. Superb coffee and excellent snacks. The curry chicken sandwich is delicious . You will not be disappointed here 😀

The "sanwiches" consist in a very thin slice of bread with a few things on top. 13 euros for one... definitely too expensive, since they are not even that tasty or special. I wouldn't reccomend to stop here for lunch or brunch.

Cappuccino was delicious but the nut cake was dry. Old? They came to take the order 3 times. No coordination among the waiters.

Walked in this morning with my wife, all tables were occupied and the big round was reserved. On the way out I ask what time the round table is reserved for. Oh you can just sit there was the answer. Ordered 2 x medium orange juice and wanted a regular sandwich, 1 cheese and 1 ham cheese. These were not on the menu, although there were other very extensive sandwiches with content that was not desirable for us. When asked what the children's sandwich looked like, we were told that a regular sandwich could be made. So no sooner said than done. Ordered 1 cheese sandwich and 1 ham/cheese sandwich with white bread. We had the drinks quickly, but the toast took a long time. In the end we got 2 cheese sandwiches, both brown, while 1 white sandwich was ordered with ham/cheese. Because it had taken so long, we left it as we had more on the agenda. The cheese had largely melted away between the slices of bread, so that the sandwich had actually become a greasy bite of the fat from the cheese with a piece of cheese here and there. At checkout we received another surprise. The sandwiches offered were not on the menu and therefore could not be purchased. However, an amount was charged twice for the luxurious extensive sandwiches. We were presented with a bill for 2 x medium orange juice and 2 runny toasties with almost no cheese left for €34.50. €12.95 for 2 brown sandwiches. Should have said this when ordering instead of saying that a regular sandwich could be made or would have delivered 2 x children's sandwiches for €6.95 each if it did meet our wishes. Skip this wannabe lunchroom, there are much nicer places further away. For €34.95 you can have unlimited spareribs for 2 people on the Willem de Zwijgerlaan, just to name something as a comparison.

Ham cheese croissant for 3.25 that looks more like bread dough than puff pastry is not worth it.

You must pay again to have the 'bottomless' teapot refilled. Why is this called a bottomless teapot and not just a teapot?

They serve the jam, chocolate paste, and peanut butter in their original jars to every customer. I was shocked to get half eaten jam, chocolate, and peanut butter with bread crumbs from former customers. So, everyone uses their knife to get the jam from the jar. Not hygenic at all. The same shop in Theresiastraat provides the condiments in individual cups, as should be done.

The manager Alex is very nice and cheerful. Even when it is very busy, they try to make the best of it with few staff. Coffee is always delicious and the strawberry tarts are highly recommended!

Two toasted sandwiches, two coffees, €30, and I couldn't help but smile. No good afternoon or goodbye either. I was just in shock. If you dare to charge such amounts, the quality and service really needs to be improved.

Ate a sandwich here with my wife at the end of the morning. While there are 3 employees sitting or hanging inside, it is a mess outside. Not a single table had been neatly cleared or cleaned. After waiting 10 minutes, someone had gathered the courage and energy to come and take our order. This was done by walking up and then looking at me questioningly for 15 seconds. No good morning or what can I help you with. Some time later I got our coffee and cheese/pastrami sandwich. This came in the form of an ordinary flattened sandwich for €11. 2 sandwiches and 2 coffees will cost you €30. Good food must be paid well, but this is not even worth €5. In short, first and last time.

Pariser Frühstück sehr zu empfehlen. Die Auftrivhe können auch direkt vor Ort gekauft werden. Sehr freundliches Personal. So frische und selbstgemachte Heisse Schokolade habe ich noch nie getrunken 😍

The food was good but the service leaves much to be desired. First, nobody came to take our order, so we ended up ordering at the counter. Then they had to come back twice to tell us what we chose was already sold out, and then we ended up waiting more than 30 minutes for our food. Shame because the Cafe is cozy and the menu interesting.

CAREFUL!!! They will NOT refund the WRONGFULLY charged money by them. They will just say "We are not allowed to make a refund", only vouchers. Imagine, if they'd put a couple extra zeros on your 15 € meal, you would get back a 1475€ voucher only valid for their store, and never your money. Quality wise, the avocado and feta sandwich I had was tasty and the cappuccino was quite good. The terrace is confortable, now that the works on the street are almost over. I used to have breakfast here often, since I have it close by my place. But would never risk loosing money again. There are other places in the neighbourhood, cheaper and same quality.

Very lovely space and cozy vibe. Loved their pastries and coffee. Good location for brunch, coffee, chat with a friend, or simply reading a book.

De bediening was goed. Maar wat een apart eten was dat. Natuurlijk heb ik het opgegeten. Volgens mij was het gerecht wat ik besteld met hoemoes besmeerd. Erg lekker, maar niet mijn dagelijkse kost.

Haven’t been here in a long time but thought: let’s give it another try. Well won’t make that mistake again. Service was better but the prices have gone up and the quality is just not worth it. Attached was called a ‘pastrami sandwich’ you need a magnifying glass to find the pastrami 😒

Ik heb hier meerdere keren geluncht (Frederik Hendriklaan), met wisselende service. Echter heb ik de laatste drie keren een geweldige service gehad met heerlijke lunch als nooit tevoren. Ik ben vooral tevreden met de bediening van deze dame, ik was zo tevreden dat ik haar naam gevraagd heb en opgeschreven heb, ze heet Yasemin. Zij weet pas goed wat service is en hoe een goede lunch geserveerd moet worden. Helaas vertelde ze me ook dat ze binnenkort weggaat, dat vond ik echt jammer! Maar een dikke duim omhoog voor haar!

While the bread you get in the shop is great. The cafe part is horrible. Slow service, drinks come out at different time as does the food. We had to ask just to order. Would not go again.

Sehr gutes Frühstück. Hatten das Avocado Toast und waren begeistert. Personal war ebenfalls nett. Meiner Meinung nach eine sehr gute Anlaufstelle um frühstücken zu gehen.

Sinds geruime tijd trouwe klant bij deze Belgische broodschuur. Brood is inderdaad lekkerder dan bij een gemiddelde bakker, maar daar is de prijs ook naar. Onlangs koos ik in de winkel een grote versie van de Pave Christophe. Aangezien de witte Grand Mere uitverkocht was. Van de blik op het pin-schermpje werd ik echter spontaan misselijk. Ik hoef niet per se goedkoop uit te zijn, maar ik wil mij ook niet voelen als een uitgemolken koe. 14 euro voor een brood vind ik echt een grof schandaal. Zelfs het grote stuk kaas dat ik vervolgens bij de speciaalzaak kocht, kostte niet meer dan dit brood. Brutale afzetterij is het en zeker een reden om ook naar andere bakkers te kijken.

I get the same quality at the jumbo in front and a third of the price. Personnel is very grumpy. Sometimes their bread feels like from days before. It is a nice coffee place, and the area is nice, but not too good to accept bad attitude.

Viel erg tegen cappuccino slap wat op de kaart staat hebben ze niet citroencremetaart was er niet scone met jam en creme was de creme er niet de amerikachipskoekie was knoert hard heb ik maar in de koffie gedoopt en geen servet.

The food is amazing! The grand mère bread is the only one that I have found so far, which tastes exactly like a German Bauernbrot. Downside: prices are what you would expect to pay at a bakery in Paris on the Champs Elysees... Ridiculous. When I first moved here many years ago, the bread was double the size and 20% cheaper... But what can you do, there is no direct competition.

Goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding. Brood is geweldig en het Parijse ontbijt is heerlijk met de smeersels (pindakaas, chocopasta en jam :))

We had a tasty Avacado and Smoked Salmon sandwich with some fresh apple juice. The staff was very friendly and presented the dish beautifully. They also have freshly prepared bread and chocolate, peanut butter paste along with the cafe.

Lekkere verse broodjes, hele fijne bediening.

We had breakfast and ordered the Paris breakfast. The bread we got was no baquet like mentioned on the menu and probably from the day before. That is not what you would expext at a bakery... the pinut butter was missing... the coffee, croissant and chocolat spread were good.

Fuimos para el brunch, excelentes opciones de platos, pan fabuloso! Muchos vinieron a recoger los diversos panes, y recomendamos llevar a casa una muestra de los deliciosos panes y pasteles.
