Not the cheapest, but definitely value for money!! Delicious!

Tasty coffee, fresh pastries, lots of choice. Not very cheap, but if the cake is good, I'm willing to pay for it! Cappuccino, latte macchiato, raspberry tart, and hazelnut meringue cake, 22 euros... but it is delicious!

I actually never go to a place like this early in the day. Due to circumstances, I did just that this time. I had already read that many people enjoy Walt. The day before, I was in Rotterdam, where you can't even pay with real money anymore in the coffee shops I visited there. That is a plus for Walt in itself. Furthermore, no QR codes, just ordering from a real person: second plus. Third plus: excellent coffee and indeed truly freshly baked (and therefore tasty) croissants. Fourth plus: first no music, and then very soft music, which was therefore not bothersome. Fifth plus: friendly and efficient service. Enough praise handed out, right?

Last Saturday we had a complete salmon breakfast here and it was delicious! The service is super friendly and they serve with a big smile. For us, that is a reason to come here more often.

Incredible food, even better staff. We were looked after really well, the food was superb, we went for the Walt toasties, yogurt with passionfruit and a croissant with salmon. The menu is in Dutch, so as non-native speakers we were helped by an Incredible and joyful member of staff and got a bit of the back story of Walt too. Coffee was great and the place is suitable for young children too. A must visit!

A wonderful atmosphere with the friendliest and most enthusiastic service you could possibly imagine. The lemon custard on the brioche bread was exquisite, and the deliciously warm jam-filled croissant was equally so! Not a word of the beautifully described menu about the tea and coffee is a lie either. In short, a gem in Arnhem!

Very satisfied with our lunch! You can order anything from the menu all day long, and there are plenty of vegetarian and gluten-free options. The rolls and croissants are fresh, so they are still nice and warm. There are also plenty of cakes and other snacks. The food was very tasty and the service pleasant!

Coffee excellent, staff polite and helpful, sandwiches tasty. Although 17 euros for a sandwich (two slices of bread) is of course quite pricey. With that price in mind, I have had better carpaccio sandwiches.

What a lovely place to settle down for a while in the center of Arnhem. Everything we ordered was incredibly fresh and tasted exactly as you would hope for at a good breakfast. The presentation is very well done. For instance, my yogurt with fresh strawberries was served in a small glass jar, which not only looked beautiful but also tasted delicious. Highly recommended for anyone who loves a good start to the day. We will definitely be back soon.

Picked up a picnic basket here this afternoon to take to a nearby park. It was filled with delicious, high-quality food, drinks, and cutlery (and even a bottle of sunscreen😊). Super nice concept, thanks for the service!

The staff were absolutely lovely and deserve special thanks! My food unfortunately wasn’t good today, but the way they handled the situation was outstanding. A downside was the cleanliness inside. There were a lot of flies, and the floor was covered with food, which made the place feel unpleasant. I hope they improve the cleanliness because the excellent service deserves a much better environment.

Had a nice meal. The staff seemed to be on their first day. Because I was sitting all the way at the back, I could constantly see the staff going in and out of the pantry. Wasn't the best view ;)

Honestly, I haven't had such a delicious breakfast in years. The homemade granola is fantastic! Especially combined with the Greek yogurt with strawberries, white chocolate, and passion fruit curd 😍. This was an unexpected treat early in the morning. Highly recommended. The coffee was also exceptionally good. I will definitely love coming back here ☕️❤️

Still the very best coffee in the region 😄, and that region is big. The service and atmosphere are still great too. The acoustics have improved after the renovation, and the front facade is made of beautiful wood. I really love coming here. Hats off to Walter and staff.

Delicious and fresh We ordered lunch for our team and despite our last minute order, Walter himself arranged an amazing offer with a variety of 4 different sandwiches made with freshly baked bread. The banana bread was a blast. Everybody loved it. Thanks for the great service and making our first day as a team a delicious treat!

Had breakfast on a Sunday morning. There were 6 staff members in the shop facing 4 customers. However, it still took fifteen minutes before we were served. Then we waited another fifteen minutes for a cup of tea, a croissant, a piece of toast, and some slices of salmon. (I must say that the croissant is baked in-house, so it was actually good!) I went to the counter to pay, but all 6 employees seemed to look right through me. To top it all off, I paid without receiving a shred of friendliness or hospitality. No "thank you" when I paid or "goodbye" when we walked out of the place. Wasted €35 ​​on breakfast and disappointment.

We ordered a breakfast platter for a group of nine. The platter included various cold cuts, Greek yogurt with granola, and plenty of fruit. It also came with fresh orange juice, delicious bread, and croissants. We could have ordered more, but the selection was perfect! We had a perfect start to the day. A coffee and lunch bar with a modern yet nostalgic feel. The open kitchen is bustling with activity, which certainly creates a pleasant atmosphere. The staff is well-trained and motivated. Excellent reception and service. Extensive and tempting menu. The cakes are delicious. The pieces are a bit small for the price, but if they were any larger, you'd get a stomachache. One drawback, in my opinion, is the following: The professor behind the coffee machine (read: barista) moves the cups (hot and cold) by holding them at the top by the rim. Everyone puts their mouth against that. The forks, which are placed in a cup, are also picked up by the "mouth" side. The ice cubes are also placed in the glass by hand. This probably didn't hurt anyone, and I see too much, but I didn't find it hygienic. The entrance door could use a curtain for colder seasons. Takes away some light, but is more pleasant for anyone sitting in the front of the room.

This is our second time here. We came specifically for breakfast and the weekend specials. Everything is conceived and prepared with great taste and creativity. The staff works like a well-oiled machine and is friendly. Excellent coffee and pastries. We will definitely return on our next visit to Arnhem.

The coffee was delicious. Tip: a homemade cookie or sweet treat with your coffee: especially since you offer so many homemade treats. Still, I wouldn't rush to Walt's again. Personally, I don't find the atmosphere pleasant, despite the recent renovations. The lighting is bright, and the back of the restaurant feels like a (school) cafeteria to me.

I’ve been here three times before, but I totally forgot to leave a review. The staff are all really friendly and the coffee is honestly so good!!! They also have quite a variety of desserts(seriously amazing). The only downside is that the prices are a bit high (but the coffee is worth it) and there aren’t many seats

The food and coffee were delicious. However, we had to wait a very long time for them, even though there were five staff members. Perhaps it's just a start-up issue because it's a new establishment, but this shouldn't be happening.

Great place!! The staff recommended the tiramisu, and they were right. It was incredibly delicious! The rest of the cakes were too; I can't think of anything bad about them. The staff is also super friendly and knowledgeable about the products. They have a lot of knowledge about the different types of tea. I can trust their recommendations! Cappuccino was fine, Rocky Road nice and sweet. But what a mess the interior was... okay half an hour before closing time, but I'd already cleaned that floor ten times. What a mess with food scraps everywhere. And yet there are about eight of them behind the counter. Give anyone a dustpan and brush!

I drink a maximum of 3 or 4 cups of coffee a day. And when I do have coffee out, I want it to be spot on. That doesn't happen very often, and that's probably just my pickiness. But the flat white I had at Walt's was the best I've ever had. I had to have a second one to be absolutely sure. Smooth and strong at the same time. Heavenly. Would that Walt toasted sandwich be just as good...? Yes, I still have all my fingers because I ate it with gusto. Add to that the excellent service, and you have a winner. What a fantastic place.

Incredibly delicious! Last year, I ordered breakfast here to be delivered the morning after our wedding. I was already a huge Walt fan back then. Today, I went there for lunch. A fantastic experience! I also picked up some treats for the road. I'll definitely be back!

When I first entered the restaurant, I couldn't understand why the wall decorations were full of Vermeer reproductions, labeled with small stickers that showed a ridiculously low price. But after ordering their "Walt Tostie" for €10.90, I have to say that the metaphor fits brilliantly with the food they serve: no matter how much you pay, nothing will beat a work of art created with passion, with intention, unlike the poor, bland, and pale copy that has no other reason to exist than to squeeze your wallet. Outrageous! Where do all these rave reviews come from?

After 25/30 minutes, we received a “tosti” that was made out of the poorest quality of bread possible (I wouldn’t even call it bread), with a little bit of ham and cheese. It tasted bad and doesn’t feel good in the belly neither afterwards. This costed a scandalous €10,95 per tosti! Disappointing is an understatement… And of course the pictures on their site look great, but let me give you a picture of the type of bread they actually give you. You’ll get two tiny triangles of this “bread” with some poor fillings. If you want a really good tosti, that is worth the price, go to Bomboca! They make delicious tostis with unique ingredients and fair prices!

Found Walt by accident on arrival in Arnhem but we are very happy to have discovered it! Delicious coffee and amazing brunch sandwiches. Lovely friendly service and the waitress was very helpful translating the menu and recommending her favourites. We sat outside and it was a great spot. No smoking too which we definitely prefer. Great find and we’ll probably head there again during our stay.

Rarely good. Service is helpful and fast. Food is exceptionally good and generously topped. BLT with chicken is definitely recommended. Enough choice on the menu and a nice atmosphere inside. I went twice in the three days I was in Arnhem.

Walt, the place in Arnhem where you can drink really good coffee and eat the most delicious cakes to go with that really good coffee. All ways are possible with the coffee. I like to drink a vanilla latte here but then with decaf coffee and preferably oat milk, this is all possible. Their vanilla bourbon syrup is 🤤 My partner drank a cortado here and it was also delicious. Inside the atmosphere is very cozy and the hospitality is high.

I love their menu! Had their cappuccino it was nice, yet to try the tumeric latte. I felt somewhat nostalgic inside the cafe, there are cool corners where its perfect to chill and read a good book or finish up an assignment. Overall very cool ambience
