Bought the Lontong Satay a few days ago and the chicken is really perfectly prepared, friendly owner too!

Super friendly staff member who can tell you everything about the food, the tastiest combinations, and matching sauces. The portions are generous and the food is delicious; be sure to try the spekkoek and have some of the homemade chili sauce.

A real, old-fashioned Indonesian shop. With lovely people and incredibly delicious food! I’ve been there a few times now, and we also had them cater the food for a work evening (50p). Everything was arranged perfectly. I’ll be back here soon!

I ordered the complete meal twice. It costs €13.50 and you get quite a lot of food. One portion is enough for me to last me two dinners and I eat average amounts. Food itself is quite tasty, lots of coconut and spice. It’s good for a lazy day when I don’t feel like cooking. The guy serving me was very helpful and friendly. It was nice he could explain every dish in English properly as sometimes that’s a struggle in restaurants here. Overall, the amount of food is quite a lot but I do wish there was more vegetable served in the container. The food can be warmed up upon request and there are a couple small tables to sit down at but I recommend takeaway.

The food was okay, but the 12.50 menu with 2 meats and 2 vegetables is only 1 portion.

If you go, hopefully you'll be served by the slightly taller young man with glasses: friendly and he'll fill your bowl properly. The young woman, with all due respect, is too stingy to see. She can barely count the grains of rice. The bowl is three-quarters full, not even an extra green bean, and it's lukewarm from the microwave. It's a shame, because the food itself is good, and again, with the other young man, you get a decent portion.

Got two set menu dishes this afternoon. Normally, the dishes aren't really plentiful, but this afternoon the quantity was truly meager; everything was meager. It seems like the old woman behind the counter had a hard time serving. Such a shame. I'll have to check out other warungs because this is absolutely ridiculous.

I had a lontong tjampoer Istimewa and I regret it so much. It was some kind of soup. The lady kept adding sauce and I asked to stop. But unfortunately too late. It wasn't really sauce either, it was more of a watery soup. Everything was watery and mixed together. Even my satay sauce. Really a waste of my money. Although I normally think it's a good store. But I won't be going anymore for a while. I was really craving Indian food but this was awful.

Lots of rice and very little vegetables and filling. Was a bit disappointing.

The chef is very nice person that explain everything which gives beautiful kind energy to the place. Food— amazing and delicious. We were very satisfied. It’s also not that expensive— we paid around 10 euros and we were full. It’s very cute and special place. I’ll come back there always when I’ll be in Amsterdam. Lots of love, Maja & Bjarke.

Ik ben al twee jaar verhuisd naar Uithoorn, maar ga een paar keer per maand eten halen in deze heerlijke toko! Ik heb een aantal van die zaken bezocht die wat meer in de buurt liggen, maar ze halen het niet bij Waroeng Adji! Vooral de Boemboem bali is goddelijk!

There's sitting areas where you can have your food or like most local people, they get it to take away... the shops also sells some dry produce, snacks..

Echt heerlijk gegeten. Ik lees in de reviews klachten over de prijs; ik weet niet bij welke andere toko je voor 11 euro zo'n lekkere en complete maaltijd kan eten, zeker niet in Amsterdam. Alle gerechten waren smullen. Kan t alleen maar aanraden!

Een van de betere in Amsterdam, waarom drie sterren ipv 4 of 5, de prijzen zijn omhoog gegaan en de porties kleiner. Had de prijsverhoging geaccepteerd als de porties ook zoals voorheen waren. Mensen die er werken zijn overigens super vriendelijk.

Heerlijk eten, goede kwaliteit, aardige mensen

Vriendelijke bediening, zeer smakelijke en gevarieerde gerechten ook voor vegetariërs. Makkelijk voor de deur parkeren. Kortom een absolute aanrader.

De Toko Indo die steeds zeldzamer worden in ons Amsterdam helaas. Ruim vier jaar heb ik hier met mijn Moeder regelmatig gegeten en kom nog steeds langs. Het eten is altijd vers en de keuze ruim. Ze hebben alles zoals het betaamd voor een Toko. Hoop dat ze nog lang zullen bestaan want je krijgt heerlijke Indonesische gerechten voor een redelijke prijs.

Kom al jaren en altijd even smaakvol, niet te vergelijken met andere soort gelijke zaakjes. Smaak is authentiek en altijd vers, vriendelijke mensen. Prijs is zeker gerechtvaardigd voor wat je krijgt.

No planeaba ir aquí, pero feliz de haber encontrado esta joya escondida. Un poco fuera del centro de la ciudad, pero vale la pena el viaje. Disfruta cada bocado. Ideal para llevar, solo un poco pequeño y puede congestionarse como muy poco espacio para sentarse y comer.

En estos últimos días cuando estaba en casa de NL, me sentí enfermo. Luego encontré este de Indonesia el resto en Amsterdam. . Uno de los muchos indonesia resto, pero este me gusta más. La comida era increíble, totalmente como comida indonesia, porque normalmente la comida indonesia en otro país es diferente. Ya sabes, kurang kurang kecap garam, pero este es tan bueno. Y la camarera también es indonesia, y son tan agradables.
