This store is not normal. By far my favorite takeaway in the area. Large portions, healthy, very tasty and also for a good price. What more could a person want? If I have to eat alone I always eat here. Sometimes up to 3 times a week. I'm a big eater and I have difficulty finishing the discount menu. You cannot cook for the costs yourself. And we haven't even talked about the taste yet. Oh god, can I become an ambassador?? Staff is also always friendly and fun with children. Man man, what a great thing. I'll probably see you again this weekend!! There is one disadvantage; and that is that they are closed on Mondays. Monday is a good day for Indo food.

Delicious food, good portions and for a good price. Definitely recommended! Very busy on weekends, keep this in mind!

Snacks eaten spring roll, martabak and lemper. Eat it right away, but it was delivered in a bag, without a container and/or napkin and 1 small container of sauce. The snacks had been heated up for too long, so you couldn't eat them properly. The lemper tasted the best. The others were disappointing in terms of taste and filling.

Fast and tasty, not too expensive. What else do you want? Menu Kita in particular is a good lunch.

After being a regular customer for a long time, I won't be back, got food poisoning from the chicken, my friend had a beef dish and had no problems. I called to let them know but they were super adamant that they always have fresh chicken and that it could never be the chicken. Yet the chicken was the only difference between our meals. They offered me a free dish as compensation, after suffering food poisoning that is really the last thing I need 🫠

The only store where I get food in Amsterdam. Comparable food is many times more expensive. I don't come here very often, but when I do it's always good. Really looking forward to eating this. Don't try to make it yourself... I don't know what they throw in there, but it always tastes good.

Do you want tasty toko take out!? Then get your food here! Lots of tasty choices - also Vegan. I get food here too often per month 🤪 The only downside is the line...haha, but the food makes up for it. We should not forget the friendly staff either. Selamat makan 👌🏼

De afgelopen jaren komen wij wekelijk langs om de Nasi Rames te halen. Met als favo de Rendang, Ayam saus Tiram en Terong Belado. (niet normaal hoe lekker) Toko Kokkita is bij deze onze vaste toko geworden om de authentieke smaken van de Indonesische keuken weer te herbeleven, oftewel dat we zelfs bij meerdere verjaardagen Kokkita als catering hebben! Personneel is erg vriendelijk en hartverwarmend. Ze geven echt een familiegevoel die ikzelf gewend ben van mijn eigen Indonesische roots. Het is ALTIJD druk in de toko, dus dan weet je dat het goed zit. ;)

Al jaaaaren mijn vaste go to voor authentiek Indonesisch eten. Vooral de nasi kuning, rendang, semur en udang peteh zijn mijn favorieten! Ook fijn om te zien dat het personeel de warme Indonesische cultuur uitdraagt. De liefde is in het eten terug te proeven. Aanrader voor iedereen die van goed en authentiek eten houdt. Laat de rij je niet afschrikken, want het is meer dan het wachten waard!

Heerlijk gegeten! Heerlijk pittig ook! Voor de prijs krijg je ook zeker extra voor wat je verwacht!! Op en top!!!

Meest ranzige rendang ooit gegeten, vraag mij echt af of dit daging sapi was. Veel gerechten hebben een afwijkende smaak t.o.v. andere toko's en traditionele gerechten. En dat is gebaseerd op zo'n 40 jaar bekend zijn met cultuur en keuken. Voor mij niet meer.

Unexpectedly the best Asian/Indonesian food I came across in Amsterdam. Absolutely fantastic for it's price aswell. Highly recommended for everybody. I ate in a park nearby and nearly shedded a tear. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating.

Hands down the BEST Indonesian take-out shop in Amsterdam. I have tried more than 5 of this type of take-out spots in Amsterdam so I have a general idea of the quality level. And I can say Kok Kita is the one that uses the best and freshest ingredients of all (that I have tried). They don’t use super heavy seasoning (I know heavy seasoning is an important part in Indonesian food culture but I mean SUPER heavy), and some shops really use that to cover up certain bad characteristics of the ingredients. Food is absolutely delicious, loved the chicken especially. Eggplants can be cooked longer for a better texture – but hey, I am not complaining for this price portion ratio. One thing that I didn’t enjoy is that they are quite shady with additional costs… they don’t tell you that you need to pay extra for having the food heated up for instance, only after you said “yes please heat it up”, you would see them put in the extra figures at their counter, without explaining either :D

Nous avons découvert ce traiteur grâce au guide Lonely Planet... après 30 minutes d'attente nous avons pu commander différents plats parfaitement assaisonnés. Très bon rapport qualité-prix.

Een echte toko, goede producten en ook zo menukaart. Authentiek Indonesische gerechten. Diverse MenuGerechten zijn goedkoop en de losse gerechten naverhand de hoeveelheid je wenst. Snap waarom elke avond er een rij staat. Vers heerlijk smaakvol en betaalbaar.

Beste afhaal Indonesiër. Enig nadeel: iedereen in de buurt weet het, dus wachten tot ver op de straat...

Kom hier al jaren bij Sam. Misschien wel de beste afhaaltoko van Amsterdam.
