One of my favorite places for lunch in Amsterdam's city center is Italian takeout, from focaccias, sandwiches, pasta, lasagnas, and desserts. Everything is fresh and high-quality, and it truly seems Italian. It's good, cheap, and has very affordable prices for being right in the center near Jordan. There's always a line because of this, but it moves pretty quickly. It's great for grabbing something and sitting by a canal to enjoy the views of Amsterdam. I've lived here for six years, and it was one of my best discoveries.

excellent place. theyve got the queue system down, nicely organised. loads of choice of sandwiches and i enjoyed mine. and little tiramisu!! i think it was very good value for freshly made food. we took ours on the tram to vondelpark which was a lovely place to eat it in the sunshine. definitely would go again

This was just amazing! If you are looking for a fabulous ciabatta or tiramisu (or basically anything lunch - Italian): go there. We were in awe and full and happy and will defo come back. Also amazing if you are on your way to the train and need some snacks, they have everything one can dream of. So TL;DR: super amazing, go there and have a ciabatta asap!

We had to wait in line for a short time, but it went very quickly. The food was really tasty, there are lots of vegetarian options. The staff is also super friendly. The prices are more than fair and the shop overall is authentically Italian. Very happy again!

Incredible sandwiches for €4.90, as well as pasta dishes, pizza, chicken, and all sorts of takeaway meals. Always super cheap, delicious, and if you go around lunch time, there's always a line out the door.

Fantastic and affordable sandwiches, pizza slices and deserts for takeaway. The lunch rush and wait time can be a bit intense but it's totally worth it. The workers give great and quick service. I would also recommend trying some of their deserts as well. The pasticiotto, triramisu and cornetto are great options.

So good and affordable 😋 The only downside is the queue but that only proves how good and popular this place is. I especially love the salami calzones and the tiramisu !!

Came here a while back and ordered the ciabatta Cortona and a lasagne bolognese and found my experience to be average to good. They have a brilliant system in place in terms of walking in and ordering. Due to the efficiency of that the service goes quite quickly, even if there is a big line waiting. After ordering my food I waited around 5min before it was ready and they gave me my order with cutlery, napkins and clarified the order while handing it over. Once an order has been placed one of the staff grabs the receipt and actually makes that exact order, for then to be given out at the counter. The lasagne was quite plain, had barely any meat in it and was primarily pasta sheets and tomato sauce. The flavour was quite underwhelming. The ciabatta was made with lovely fresh ingredients with a good balance between toppings and bread. It could have had the topping spread out more evenly, but overall it didn't disappoint. Service is quick, efficient and fast. The server at the counter was slamming the orders through and kept things very organised. Overall a fine place to get a very decently priced sandwich or pasta to go.

Delicious sandwich and affordable. Little flavor to the eggplant and cheese/meat and the bread tasted a bit old. Fine, but not so that I would make a detour or stand in line for another 20 minutes.

My little Italy ❣️ If you are on holiday in Amsterdam and have already had the urge to taste the local cuisine, I highly recommend you also stop by this place. You will immediately find a familiar welcome at least for me who come from Italy, tired now of eating in these fast and food restaurants we were looking for something familiar, attracted by the delicious aroma coming out of this place we entered and found our little Italy. We took four sandwiches and four cokes prepared with quality products, all delicious and really honest prices. We paid just 27 euros for four sandwiches and four cokes, unlike others which have very high prices. It's a shame that we only discovered it today, we'll be back and I recommend everyone to go there at least once. Congratulations guys

Reasonable priced food for Amsterdam. Had to wait in line for quite a bit. I ordered a ciabatta 'Cortona' and two pasticiotti. The ciabatta came in a very oily bag (although there wasn't any olive oil added according to the recipe) and was not warm sadly. however, it was still very delicious and the ingrediënts were of high quality. The pasticiotti were amazing. Perfectly baked on the outside with a rich vanilla custard inside. I was pleasantly surprised to find these Leccese pastries here, since I haven't seen them anywhere else here in the Netherlands. Used to be lots cheaper not a long time ago. A ciabatta sets you back almost €5, and considering it really is just a simple Italian sandwich it is leaning towards the pricy side. Would still reccommend if you want some simple and quick Italian specialties.

The bread for the sandwiches is incredibly fresh, and the aroma of the pesto sauce combined with the fresh cheese is simply amazing. I think adding a bit more pepperoni and toppings would make it even better! However, the shop's atmosphere is quite dark and lacks energy; it could use a more modern touch. Probably the best value & good tasting food in amsterdam. This place always has a queue for a reason! We had the Cibata Madesimo, Gorgonzola and arancini plus an americano. All of them excellent and well priced.

Admirations for what you do - several simple ingredients turned into incredibly delicious sandwiches and desserts! The products were fresh and of good quality, the staff was very friendly and the prices were reasonable. Regardless of the long queue, we got our food very quickly (in less than 10 minutes). No, it’s not a Freddi place; it’s all about "warm and cold" in Italian. Yes, it’s a tremendous bang for your buck and even better than most Italian sandwich spots I’ve visited. Every sandwich here has been spot-on, no misses. The area might be packed with overpriced pizza joints and greasy French fry spots, but don’t waste your time there. Instead, swing by here where you’ll find a plethora of options: veggie or non-veggie sandwiches, freshly baked pizzas, and a cappuccino or espresso to top it all off.

I went to this place as part of my visit in Amsterdam. I did some research to see the good local food spots around the place and this one came first. I took a pizza slice and sandwich. Both tasted good. But maybe my Indian tastebuds were not able to catch much from the dishes, it tasted good, not as much of the hype. There are a lot of different snacks they offer. The place is also closer to the city centre. Good to visit.
