The food in the containers was dried out, and the fried banana was extremely greasy. However, there was a wide selection. At the wok station, my oyster sauce was burnt. Empty plates are not cleared immediately. The space itself was nicely decorated, with a separate play area for the children.

We were served raw meat, the staff were working shabbily, and they were not friendly.

We had a delicious meal. We are from Lisse ourselves, but if we are in the area again, we will definitely come back here.

The restaurant looks nice and modern, with a fun play area for children. The service is fast but easily knocks you over. You shouldn't come here for the food; the quality is poor and the selection is limited.

What a place. The staff was incredibly unfriendly and seemed to have absolutely no desire to help customers. Unfortunately, the food was even worse. It was cold and had been sitting there for ages. For this quality and service, you almost just expect not to have to pay for it. The toilet was also absolutely filthy; pee was all over the floor. Disgusting. Absolutely not a second time for us.

Unfortunately, our visit to Atlantis was quite disappointing. Upon arrival, we were shown to our table, but no further explanation was given as to exactly how the concept works. As a result, we had to figure out how everything worked ourselves. The food was also disappointing. In our opinion, the quality was mediocre, and the sole did not smell fresh, so we did not eat it. Unfortunately, we both got a lot of stomach pain later that evening. We obviously cannot say with certainty whether this was caused by the food, but it certainly did not improve the experience. Additionally, we found the service very disappointing. The staff came across as inattentive and uninterested. Unfortunately, we did not find the lady behind the wok very friendly. When we had a special request, little effort was made to accommodate it, and at one point, we were even ignored. We also did not find the atmosphere in the restaurant particularly cozy or inviting. For the price you pay, to be honest, we had expected much more. In our opinion, there is still quite a lot of room for improvement regarding the food, service, and atmosphere. Unfortunately, no second visit for us.

The employees are not customer-friendly, the food was cold and inedible, we certainly won't be coming back. Terrible place, yuck!

The staff didn't seem interested; they didn't welcome you, looked you in the eye, and asked your name when they walked with you. They pointed out where you could sit and immediately walked away without giving any explanation. The fries were cold, other dishes were cold, the meat was still pink inside, and there wasn't much tasty in between.

Bad food, hot and cold, the service is unsociable, and some dishes simply have vermin in them… save yourself the trouble!

We really enjoyed the delicious food here during our vacation.

The floor throughout the restaurant was littered with food scraps; none of the food in the trays was fresh or looked good. Additionally, flies were everywhere on the food. Worst of all was that as you walked through the buffet, you encountered cooks with glasses of beer, actually standing there drinking multiple glasses of beer while preparing food. Once and never again.

Reservations are highly recommended, as this restaurant is very popular. The staff is consistently friendly and attentive. If you're tired of the typical, standard all-you-can-eat Asian restaurants, you'll definitely find a noticeable difference and more variety here. There's plenty of parking. The extensive dessert selection is particularly impressive. Of course, the concept is clearly geared towards large groups, which is why it's correspondingly crowded, lively, and noisy – making it less than ideal for a romantic date. But you'd expect that if you choose this kind of place. It's perfectly fine for groups or those with a hearty appetite.

We ate there last night. Everything was perfect and hot when grilling and baking, but unfortunately all the other food was lukewarm or cold... unfortunately, no second time for us.

Last weekend, we dined at Wereldrestaurant Atlantis in Nederweert with 4 adults, a 15-year-old teenager, and two young children aged 2 and 3. The entire group had a wonderful evening and looks back on it with great pleasure. Upon arrival, it was immediately noticeable that there is ample free parking. This is certainly very pleasant with a larger group and young children, as you don't have to search for a parking space. Inside, we were greeted in a friendly and hospitable manner by the staff. We immediately felt welcome and were quickly escorted to our table. The restaurant looks neat, modern, and spacious. The tables are not too close together, allowing you to eat peacefully and have good conversations. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy, which ensured we had a truly enjoyable evening out. The buffet offers a huge variety of choices. There is something delicious for everyone, whether you like meat, fish, wok dishes, sushi, or a variety of hot and cold dishes. There is also plenty of choice when it comes to desserts, with ice cream, pastries, fruit, and other sweet treats. The drinks were also well-represented, ensuring no one went without. Everything we ate was fresh, flavorful, and regularly replenished. We found this very pleasant, as the buffet remained well-presented throughout the evening. Our children were also able to find something they liked without any trouble, making it a truly suitable restaurant for families. As far as we are concerned, the price-quality ratio is excellent. You get a wide selection, tasty food, friendly service, and a cozy ambiance for a reasonable price. The staff remained friendly throughout the evening and worked hard to keep everything clean and stocked. We all thoroughly enjoyed this evening and went home feeling satisfied. If you are looking for a cozy international restaurant with a wide selection, good service, and a pleasant atmosphere, we can certainly recommend Wereldrestaurant Atlantis in Nederweert. We will definitely be back here again!

Very little choice when it came to food. Lots of cold dishes, which were actually tasty. As for the hot dishes, not much to write home about, except for the lobster. The food from the griddle wasn't amazing either; everything tasted the same because of the garlic, onions, and sauce they threw on top. I couldn't even taste the difference between mussels and shark anymore. The only upside was that beer and wine were free; the wine did get me through the evening. For us, it was a one-time thing and never again.

Well, too sad for words, first and last time. It was scorching hot; there is no air conditioning to be found in the children's play area either. We literally sat there for half an hour because it was unbearable. Sweat was practically beading on our foreheads. The food is bad too. Little variety, and if you do take something, it doesn't taste good either. I am normally not someone who writes bad reviews quickly, but this was a real waste of money.

Simply worse than bad. It's been a long time since I've eaten this badly. Terrible quality. Save yourself the trouble of going there. The atmosphere is absolutely nothing either. It's a chaotic mess; everyone is just walking around. In my experience, people are literally gorging themselves. And everything tastes the same. The desserts too; you think you'll grab a few different things, but it's pointless because you can't taste the difference. In short: IF YOU'VE NEVER BEEN THERE, KEEP IT UP!!!

Very, very bad. The first but also the last time we ate there. The food (fries, satay, drumstick; everything was also way too dry because it had been sitting there too long) was cold. The mini frikandellen were still raw on the inside, undercooked, and the pancake too.

Save yourself the trouble and the money. Food truly tasteless. Quality deplorable. It is also a very quiet place inside. If you look around, you mainly see gloomy people sitting there – even though there are quite a few people. Perhaps this is due to the food. Only the desserts are tasty (you really have to try hard as a restaurant to ruin this part). The staff speak broken Dutch and don't seem very keen on serving you either. The toilets were clean this evening, though. I have been to several international restaurants in the Netherlands. Atlantis comes in last place by far.

Phenomenal food, a lot of halal options, making this a very suitable location for Muslims as well. With a huge selection of delicious food! And top-notch service at the griddle too! I recently ate at Atlantis for the first time and I am deeply impressed. For €43.50 per person, one of my best friends and I enjoyed an unlimited selection for 2.5 hours from a truly gigantic assortment! A huge plus for me was the extensive halal offering; from the potato gratin and pastas to the asparagus with halal ham. The variety is incredible: fresh fish sushi, Italian pasta salads, lamb chops, chicken satay, and an abundance of fresh vegetables and fruit. For fish lovers, there is also plenty of fish, such as salmon, many types of shellfish, and even lobster and crab. A big compliment to the griddle: the service there is lightning fast. You grab a plate and within 3 to 4 minutes your fresh beef tenderloin or fish is ready. You can specify exactly how you want it cooked (medium, rare, etc.), and they take this into account perfectly. Furthermore, you can get unlimited drinks, and the dessert buffet, ranging from fresh fruit to ice cream and Dutch poffertjes, is the perfect way to finish. Reserving by phone was extremely friendly. A small point of feedback: on the floor, some staff members seemed a bit stressed when I had some questions as a new guest, and communication in English was not always very smooth there. It would be nice if first-time guests were shown the ropes a little more actively.

A huge disappointment. It started with the sushi; they are small and dry. The atmosphere is also terrible; everyone is quiet, and on top of that, for 40 euros is absurd.

It is a real disappointment; the food is very bland and the sushi is not tasty. The fried food has been sitting for a long time and is very tough. For us, this was the first and the last time.

It's a bit lonely having to take turns getting up to fetch things. It is quite big there; children can have a nice time playing in the indoor playground.

The food was tasteless. It looked anything but hygienic. The food was also not refilled. We drove 45 minutes for this because it looked fine in the photos. This was very disappointing, and on top of that, we both had stomach aches. Not again for us!

Lots of choice, everything neatly replenished, and good service. The dishes from the griddle were the favorite of the evening. For drinks, fresh orange juice and mint tea, and an extensive selection of soft drinks. Highly recommended if you like variety!

Because it was busy, you have to wait longer for the grilled dishes. Overall, perfectly fine. It also takes longer for dirty plates to be cleared. The sushi was delicious and fresh.

The Chinese man at the reception/cash register was very unfriendly. !!!!

Good quality food. The only downside is that there are no small bottles of cola, only large bottles that you have to pour on the spot. But otherwise, a great place to stay.

We had a delicious meal. Lots of choice and not just the standard selection. Many extra options such as large spring rolls, lobster, and Daimtaart. Highly recommended. As the owner, I will do something about the service and the interior. The service is rushed, and you notice that. When you are being shown to your table, the staff walks 4 meters ahead of you. The interior is outdated and could be cleaned better. But despite this, the food surpasses expectations.

If you don't like everything, there is plenty of other choice. So, plenty of choice. Drinks are also no problem. However, in many places the stacks of plates were still wet...

We were a party of 16 (with a reservation) and were seated at a table meant for a maximum of 12 people. The restaurant was completely overcrowded, there were queues everywhere, and the food was really bad. NOT RECOMMENDED!

The food that was left was fine. But it is a shame when you come to eat at 7:00 PM with 4 people, that most of the hot buffet is already gone by 7:00 PM, and that nothing is refilled until 10:00 PM, and when you ask, nothing is done about it either. Very disappointing, we had very little food because a lot was gone.

Great place. We tried a lot of delicious food, desserts, ice cream and chocolate. We were with our family and we really liked it. I recommend it.

Tonight (March 14, 2026), I dined here with my family, 13 people in total. Before entering the restaurant, we had to walk through a group of people smoking right in front of the entrance. One of them was even smoking a joint. This did not make for a pleasant arrival. Upon arrival, our table was not yet ready. This can happen, but it might be better to have us wait at the front of the table rather than in the middle of the dining area. Overall, we found the food to be good, such as the Tapas, Grill, and Sushi. Unfortunately, this was not the case with all dishes. The food in the warming trays was lukewarm/cold and/or watery. Furthermore, we were given the wrong food to take back from the wok, and the cook behind the wok confirmed that it was indeed ours, or that the sauce was watery. Additionally, we find it very unprofessional that the cooks drink beer at their workstations (wok/grill) during working hours and in full view of the guests.

I am actually not such a picky eater and know that in a "food factory" you have to adjust your expectations. This was definitely the worst wok restaurant I have ever been to. Smokers were standing right in front of and next to the entrance, one of whom felt the need to smoke a joint. I am not against smoking, but don't do it in front of an entrance, and as an owner, I wouldn't allow it. The food was watery and tasteless. Except for what came off the griddle, though the sushi was of good quality. The service could clear empty plates faster. Although the gentleman who did it for us really did his best, I just think he had too many tables to do by himself.

Lots of choice, it's a shame that the staff gets into arguments with customers, which put a damper on the evening.

The food was very good, and the staff promptly removed dirty dishes, refilled clean ones, and brought fresh food. Weekend rates: €45 per person for 2.5 hours, €47 for 3.5 hours. It was very crowded.

In a word, fantastic. Good food, nice atmosphere, and friendly people—absolutely fantastic.

I would have preferred to give 5 stars, but unfortunately the food there is halal, but everything is cooked on a pan or grill, so I wouldn't call it halal, unfortunately.

Great all you can eat world cuisine, everything very neatly arranged

We dined at this restaurant on Sunday, February 15, 2026, during Carnival, and our experience was very disappointing. Because we saw different opening hours on Google, we called at 7:00 PM to ask how late the restaurant was and if we could still come between 7:30 and 8:00 PM. We were told this wasn't a problem and that the restaurant was open until 10:00 PM. We also asked if reservations were necessary, but the staff member said they weren't necessary because there was still plenty of room. We arrived at 7:40 PM and paid €178 for 2 adults and 3 children, expecting to have about two hours to eat. However, we quickly noticed that many trays weren't being refilled and that the selection was shrinking. Even staff were taking food while several trays remained empty. At 9:25 PM, a staff member came to us and told us to quickly get something from the wok because they were cleaning up. This made us feel like we were being sent away. When we indicated we only wanted dessert, it turned out that the dessert buffet was already being cleared at 9:30 PM. We also heard a staff member say, "These are the last customers, they're having dessert and then they have to leave too." We found this very unfriendly and inappropriate. We finally left at 9:35 PM, well before the stated closing time. When we confronted the manager about this, she reacted very sharply, stating that we were late and should have expected this. However, this was never communicated to us by phone or upon arrival. What should have been a relaxing evening out for €178 turned into a very frustrating experience. We felt unwelcome and treated with disrespect. This is a reason for us not to return.

I visited a buffet restaurant. In the seafood section, there were live, moving worms in the clam shells. When I complained to the staff, they told me "this is normal." I consider this situation unacceptable: guests shouldn't see living organisms in their food, especially without any warning. This isn't a matter of taste or disgust, but rather sanitary expectations and safety. I've already paid for my visit, but I think it's important to warn other guests and hope management will pay attention to quality control and staff communication.

Great variety of dishes and food in really good

We have eaten at Atlantis a variety of times, finding the experience to be somewhat disappointing. I'm a vegetarian, hence its quite difficult to find places to eat at, but once i saw that this restaurant was an all you can eat - i was in. However, all the times we have been, the vegetarian options have been scarce, mainly gone. They do tend to refill the food, but finding someone to ask to do so, is IMPOSSIBLE. Many members of staff fail to speak Dutch or English, meaning they just shrug you off, failing to point you in the direction of someone who can because they aren't even present on the floor. Though, 15 minutes later, when we did find someone, they managed to order staff to refill the options swiftly, taking around another 10-15 minutes. Even though, we managed to get our food, it did eat up 30-40 minutes of our 2 hour session. Not only this, but it took 10 minutes for someone to come to the front desk to seat us - we had booked in advance, hoping that we would skip this inconvenience, however, we still encountered it. In addition, the price is quite extortionate - 42.50 per person. I understand they need to make enough money in order to fund the vast amount of food they provide, but it is costly. If you are a vegetarian, I definitely do not recommend paying that much money, as there arent many vegetarian options, so it would not be wise. Though, if you are meat-eater and stock up your plate around 4-5 times, then id say its worth it.

On Christmas Day, I went to Atlantis with my kids. It started with a queue as long as the popular Efteling attractions. I'd booked a two-hour package online, but when I got to the ticket office, I was told I could only choose between two and a half or three hours. What nonsense! After less than an hour and a half, we were back outside. You practically walk over everyone trying to get food and have to be careful not to bump into anyone else. No more Atlantis for us...

The atmosphere was great. The food was a bit mediocre.

Nice place, friendly bar staff. But behind the grill at the garlic T-bone, they should have a real professional chef who actually enjoys his work... The T-bone was tough and inedible. We threw it away... On the other hand, the chef gave me a deliciously tender piece of steak for the grilled steak. Tip: also grill the pork belly and serve it with garlic and spring onion. It was cooked quite hard.

Want to eat at a junket that's mostly Chinese, with lukewarm, flavorless food, bottles of cola on the table instead of glasses, staff who don't speak a word of Dutch, and be out the door in less than an hour? Then this is the place to be. In all other cases, stay away. I honestly have no idea why this place is so successful. They'll certainly never see us again...

They really had so many different options, there was almost nothing left, and the service was super fast and the atmosphere was really nice. But I do recommend booking in advance because it can get busy.

As colleagues, we decided to go out to dinner twice a year as a team with our respective partners. This time, we chose Atlantis (via Social Deal). Booking through Social Deal worked out fine for a 3-hour package starting at 7:00 PM. However, getting our group of 16 together at one table was a bit tricky. After several attempts, we finally managed, but it could certainly be better. The bottled drinks were fine, and the selection of dishes was wide. It was a shame that most were already gone by 8:00-8:30 PM and weren't replenished. The fresh ingredients for stir-frying were also far gone by then, which severely limited the selection. Some of the pre-prepared dishes were also very dry and far from flavorful. I found the black bean and gon bao stir-fry sauces downright bland. I also felt sorry for the one wok chef who had to handle all the wok preparations for a fairly full restaurant. I'll say no to a return visit.

We've been to better international restaurants. We came here for dinner on a Saturday (2 adults and 2 children) and spent €119. It was very busy, and the buffet showed it. Food wasn't replenished properly. Pizzas were gone, desserts were gone. Unfortunately, the accompanying food was also lukewarm/cold. Fries and snacks for the children were lukewarm. The floor in the restaurant was sticky everywhere. Bottles like chili sauce were covered in sauce, making your hands sticky and dirty after using them. The restaurant looks cozy. There's a nice play area for children. The restrooms were dirty. Toilet paper was on the floor, large cobwebs were on the ceilings, and the paper towel roll was torn. Not really worth going back. There are better international restaurants in the area.

Very extensive, including drinks. The restroom hygiene could be better. Sticky floor and towels were gone even after I mentioned it. Considering the number of people in the house (full), there were no long waits or noise.

Our experience with this wok wasn't great. First of all, it was filthy. The floor in the restaurant was sticky everywhere you walked. The restrooms were filthy. There was no toilet paper. In the dining area, most of the plates were wet or dirty. This is a definite no-go for us! It was simply disgusting. The food was okay, as you might expect from a wok restaurant. Lots of ready-made things. For this price, there are much better wok restaurants in the province. Such a shame.

We were here today eating a little later than usual but according to the people from the restaurants the kitchen is open until 10 pm we were there around 8 pm because everything was already old and nothing was fresh anymore only the grill saved us
