A loveless meatball sandwich and a very unfriendly English-speaking man behind the bar. It's a shame, I used to like coming here, but it's over.

Walked for a glass of beer, got nice vibe, live music, reasonable price for beer snack. Lots of vegan options as well

The pasta salad is unfortunately rly bad, the quiche is never warm when served

Decent coffee, but a completely unimaginative selection of bland food in a "creative" setting. Apparently, no one in the chain has the expertise in this area, or doesn't seem interested in improving it. Unworthy of such a hotel... such a shame... The music is relaxing, though.

Possibly the worst burger I’ve ever had, including several microwave options purchased on trains. Ridiculous for almost €12.

I have been visiting Werkplaats and the cafe for years. The free to use Internet and desk area gets very busy at times. It has never been distracting for me. The other customers have always been helpful and respectful. The food and drinks I've had have been great.

Great vibe, tasty coffee and food but internet is becoming increasingly unreliable making it a poor place to work. Unless fixed cannot really recommend

Very cute coffee shop, with plenty of laptop-free areas, which is nice. The baristas are pleasant and they make a great cappuccino.

cozy spot to study with plugs, usually very busy but I really like the ambiance. Also they have yummy soups!

Workspaces super busy. Eventually found somewhere we thought was out of the ‘laptop free zone’ as it was not signposted. Then spent 25 euros on food (average) before being told we couldn’t use our laptops where we were sat and had to leave as a result.

Great place to sit and chill and work on your laptop. Great coffee. Great vibe.

A great place to work for the day with nice food and drink options and mostly friendly staff. One staff member was very rude to me.

Nice place to study! There is an informal atmosphere and despite the crowds it is quiet. The coffee is delicious and the cakes have normal café prices.

Very busy and popular workspace

I enjoy sitting here to work on my university assignments because the atmosphere is great and very studious. However every time I order a coffee with oat milk they use regular cow milk. It’s quite annoying because it’s happened more than once and you pay quite a lot for a coffee so you would think they make it correctly? Please train your staff the difference between cow milk and the plant based milks.

Nice place, but why did they change the vegan burger. Now it is a deep fried beetroot burger, while before is was a really delicious grilled vegan burger

Perfect place to get together with friends and have some drinks!

I love to work here for long hours. The food is pretty expensive but will do if you're hungry. The music is in the evening a bit too hard sometimes and interesting choices but during the day it's perfect. I hope to spend a lot more of my hours here.

Still a bit unsure what this place it, i think it is a cafe with a work zone and a hotel. Nevertheless the ambience was perfect and the chai tea and cake options were perfect. We were looking for a place to talk after dinner and stumbled upon this place. Happy to have discovered it!

Very nice place to work on your computer. Nice, authentic atmosphere and also pretty good coffee. Had a few pastries as well, which were okay.

Favourite place for a chill work session. Their cappuccino’s are great but wouldn’t recommend the tuna toastie :P

great place to get some work done as a student! you can use your laptop as long as you're not seated in a no-laptop zone, the free wi-fi is pretty strong and there's plenty of seats and spacious tables around, though it got a little crowded and noisy in the evening (understandable because they were streaming the world cup). food and drink options are also decent, I had the latte macchiato and the loaded baked potato and would recommend both :-)

Perfect for studying! So many plugs and spaces to sit. They have nice drinks and also many food options. Definitely going back again.

The bowls on their lunch menu sound nice but are uninspired boxes out of the fridge with zero dressing that only have the soy sauce from their DIY corner to add some flavor. Please don’t buy them. Chia pudding was slightly better. I was disappointed. Pastries and coffee are pretty nice. Overall vibe here is great as well and the people are nice, making up for it. So go for drinks, and keep it at that.

Good working area, it's open until late which is great because normally cafés close at 5 or 6pm. It's nice to have coffee there but that is it. The food is not recommended, we ordered 1 beef burger and 1 chicken burger, the taste was very bad, I couldn't finish mine.

Great coworking space on the zero floor of the Volkshotel.

Really friendly people working here, lots of space and plugs for working, and no additional charge to stay and work on your laptop! Just order something. Easily accessible by the metro and a beautiful modern space. The coffee and banana bread was delicious, too.
