Nice addition to Schiedam. Good food and cozy atmosphere. It's a shame that the hosts also drink and can be seen smoking outside a lot. The beginning of the evening was great, but as the evening progressed you were unfortunately forgotten... shame...

Cozy wine bar/restaurant. Tapas dishes or a menu. I can personally recommend the long tenderloin, super tasty.

The food was delicious, but mussels were served with the fish and no allergies had been asked in advance! so I have that for mussels. I didn't mind that very much!

Nicely decorated wine bar with friendly and pleasant staff. Food is delicious and the choice is perfect. They can also be booked for parties and that is a great option for Schiedam. We will definitely come back here.

We were invited here to celebrate a party. Very nice bar with nice wines. There are nice wines from Germany, Spain, France. There are tasty snacks including bitterballen and beer. We weren't there long, but I can imagine a pleasant evening.

Een mooie avond gehad bij Wijning , Wijning is gevestigd in een pittoresk pand in de oudste straat van Schiedam, de Dam. Ze bieden mooie wijnen met een specialisatie van Duitse Wijnen. Lekker hapjes maar je kunt er ook een volledige maaltijd eten.

Been here a few times and always surprised by the pleasant atmosphere there. It is informal and with attention to what you want. Advice about the choice of wine and the food itself keeps us coming back. A culinary gem in the center of Schiedam.

Vorab: wir sind Pfälzer. Was wir in der Weinbar fanden war absolut unerwartet! Es war wie ‚dahääm‘ An der Wand und auf dem Klo hängen Slogans wie ‚Zum Wohl die Pfalz‘ und ‚Riesling ist Riesling ist Unsinn‘. Sogar aus unserem Dorf hatten sie einen Winzer auf der Karte. Neben den Weinen, wir tranken ausnahmslos nicht-Pfälzer, die kannten wir ja alle, sticht als hervorragend das ‚Share your meal‘ concept heraus. Das machen wir eh immer. Zwei Gerichte bestellen und dann teilen. Hier ist aber auch völlig legitim zu zweit nur eines zu bestellen. Und man wird sogar satt davon. Weiter so!

Fantastic experience. Even if you don't know much about wine, the very friendly and knowledgeable staff can provide you with good information and advice about the different flavors. You have come to the right place for both a drink to catch up and an extensive tasting. The atmosphere is cozy, everything is neat and clean and the toilet is good. The dining concept appeals to me very much. Not 1 large dish with a huge plate of fries, but all small dishes that you can share with each other. These are also of super good quality and very tasty. You get a chic feeling when you visit, regardless of your status, and you really feel welcome. Highly recommended!

I was here for a private birthday party. Host and hostess did their utmost, nothing was too much. Extensive wine list, quite expensive, but the ambiance and quality of the snacks make up for a lot. Attractively located in old Schiedam.

Very nice experience! You really get the feeling that you are special, which is extremely customer-oriented in this tent. There is a nice wine for everyone (even for me as a non-wine drinker). Snacks and, if you ask, matching wines.

Had a fantastic evening with delicious cheese, wine, charcuterie and very good service. Although the selection of "French cheeses" did not come from France but from other countries, that did not spoil the fun! Even had a few complementary tasting glasses of wine because my friend was not yet fully versed in red wine. Top!

Nice place, very friendly service. Nice and relaxed but in a very hospitable and friendly way. The wine we chose was very tasty. Food was variable but good. Opted for several dishes, whatever the formula here. The prawns were very tasty. Just like the ham fresh from the slicer that sits nicely at the bar. I just wonder why a nice ham has parsley and spring onions added to it? This is completely unnecessary with a beautiful product like prosciutto. Mussels were very tasty, bread was added so you could eat the sauce. Chicken ketjap could also be better, chicken was tender but could have been polished (with ketjap for example). Add sweet and sour and the emping is delicious. Limoncello mousse afterwards was nice and refreshing and with a glass of Limoncello it was really tasty. This business has a lot of potential and is an asset to Schiedam. Will definitely come back because we had a great evening.

Nice environment to enjoy a nice glass of wine. Too bad it is a bit out of reach of the center. Unfortunately, there is no opportunity to eat anything yet, but that will be fine in the very near future.

This wine bar is not on a walking route. It's a nice spot and according to the staff, they are also working on turning it into a wine bar with dinner. Now you can also have snacks, pata negra and a cheese board.
