It's always a pleasure to eat here when we're on Texel. From simple, standard snacks to delicious dishes.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The Texel fries are highly recommended.

It's just a shame you can't pay by credit card. That would be much easier for business.

Good and affordable, the quality remains high. Delicious food.

Any rating would be unfair, as I only had one coffee, which I didn't like at all. However, the food looked great, and the people next to me seemed to enjoy it 😀

Great food for a reasonable price. The Indonesian fries were excellent, but the fries with Texel stew could have had a bit more flavor.

Went there for the first time in September - on recommendation - and ate a really good burger.

I eat there every vacation. They have the most delicious burgers, in my opinion. But the fries and frikandel special are also a must every time. The staff is always friendly.

I tried to get attention to order something and was completely ignored. The woman working couldn't even greet me and simply walked past. Apparently, customer focus isn't that important. I couldn't rate the food.

Enjoyed a delicious Wilma burger for lunch. Enough for the whole day. A cup of coffee was perfect.

A really neat place to get fries or other snacks. Friendly staff and fast service. The food was okay, but certainly not exceptional. The "wereldfrietje" (9 euros!) was a small portion of fries with a bit of stew on top. It was tasty, but a very small portion for the price. The snacks are easy to find and were fine. The hamburger was simple but nothing special. The fries were inconsistent; sometimes they were good and crispy, other times they were soft.

What a fantastic snack bar! Fast service, super friendly staff, and some truly delicious specials (see photo). Our family will definitely be back!

Delicious, typically Dutch snacks; we always come here at least once when we're on Texel. They also offer larger meals and burgers, although we haven't tried any yet. There's a small outdoor seating area, right next to a parking lot, but I've never found it a problem.

Look, it's called fast food, but Wilma has taken it to the next level. Delicious fries, plenty of other (vegetarian) delicious fried food, and the presentation is even more meticulous than you'd expect from a fast-food restaurant.

Very tasty ras patat, not at all greasy, huge XXL frikandel, they take XXL seriously 😀 Friendly, young service. The outdoor seating is quite nice, but it could be more comfortable.

Mega awesome burgers, plenty to fill everyone, and totally reasonable prices! Highly recommended.

The food is good and for an affordable price.

The food is really good for the price: a good burger 🍔 and a fried schnitzel with delicious fries 🍟. The outdoor tables were completely dirty, and some of the chairs were broken. Hence, unfortunately, only 3⭐️

The food is definitely worth the money, and you can taste that every dish is prepared with love! Highly recommended.

Chip shop with ample parking, good quality

At the request of my 14-year-old son, I went to Wilma Eten & Drinken. Five years ago, we had a good experience at Wilma Eten & Drinken, so we parked our motorcycle and chose an outdoor spot out of sight. My son had seen a nice motorcycle further down the road and went to take a look by himself. Upon returning, he was sad and hurt. He didn't want any more food. He felt like several adult men loitering in the bike parking area had pointed at him and laughed at him. As a mother, I politely inquired about the circumstances. Two men were approachable, despite clearly being on drugs and drinking alcohol. A third person immediately became very irritated and rude towards me and aggressively approached my son on the back patio. Then this man, Ruud from the Texel Golf Course, felt the need, with his 45 years of life experience, to speak demeaningly to a 14-year-old boy. The insecurity was oozing from this adult man. I was initially shocked by such a childish way for a middle-aged adult to speak to a child. My son simply repeated Ruud from the Texel golf course verbatim, taking a much more mature approach for such a young boy facing a middle-aged, student-like man. But Ruud from the Texel golf course wanted to start some kind of teenage argument. After a sharp dig from my son's girlfriend—she was absolutely right—Ruud from the Texel golf course left. He then proceeded to get himself worked up against his friends about us while we placed our order. Finally, Ruud from the Texel golf course complained to someone named Gerrit, and Gerrit, as head of the Wilma Eten & Drinken dispute committee, subsequently canceled our order, claiming we had picked a fight on the terrace with his "customer," clearly one of his fellow villagers. A customer to whom he poured more beer, even though Ruud from the Texel golf course was already clearly drunk. This Ruud was standing outside the patio, while we had a spot far out of his sight, and Ruud from the golf course deliberately approached us. Then, with his middle age and clearly much older appearance, he attempted to verbally destroy a barely fourteen-year-old boy. Shame on Ruud from the Texel golf course, because your attitude was more likely to be related to a 12-year-old child than a 45-year-old man. Gerrit, on behalf of the head of the dispute committee, Wilma Eten & Drinken, then chased away two people over 50, two 14-year-old children, and an elderly dog after a lot of crying from Ruud from the Texel golf course, and closed his sliding door at the back. His reasoning: it sounds a lot like cronyism. A real shame. Zero stars would be preferable. I see in a previous review that your fries were soggy, so we probably escaped a nasty meal. Gerrit, we'll continue to savor the nasty aftertaste of your actions in a conflict, mishandled by a middle-aged man, next year and every year we return to Texel and likely stay here for longer periods. The competitor tasted fine. Kind regards from a mother, who might want to inquire about the childish behavior of your regular "customer" and his friends.

Really good chip shop with local specialties and really tasty.

The food is delicious. I wish they also offered regular burger rolls. A whole-grain roll isn't always the best choice for a burger. 🍔

Simple but good restaurant with street sales. Good menu, and everything we ordered here (almost everything 😀) was great. The guys behind the counter were friendly and in a good mood! The price-performance ratio is incredibly good! An ice cream paradise for all ages!

Cooking is silver, frying is gold! (self-proclaimed) The soft serve ice cream is truly delicious. You can get RAS fries here. Large parking lot right outside. I live at the beginning of Coxdorp. Very friendly, clean restrooms, reasonable value for money. We won't go anywhere else. Addendum: Saturday, August 2, 2025 We were here and enjoyed a lamb burger. Delicious! The burger is made with lamb, not frozen! The bun was a good multigrain bun, and they also served several fresh salads. The tomato, cucumber, and garlic sauce (tzatziki sauce) were all great. The order was taken care of, the owner's personal pride, and overall, it was friendly. Quite a feat! And thanks again. Cooking is silver, frying is gold! The patty is made from lamb, not frozen! Der Bun was een good Mehrkornbrötchen, was gut dazu paste der Salat fresh verschiedene Sorten. Tomato Gurke und Koblauchsauce (Tzsaziki Sauce) everything super. The order was taken care of, the personal pride of the large and generally friendly. More like that! And again Thank you.

Wilma's Burger, Loempia, Mexican fries, soft serve: all top-notch, reasonable prices. Relaxed atmosphere. The wait for the food was a bit long, but it was worth it.

I waited 25 minutes for a "wereldfriet Indonesia" (world fries Indonesia) because the buzzer apparently was empty, so it wouldn't go off. They immediately put in a new one for me. Then, after 10 minutes, they asked if I'd gotten my "wereldfriet Indonesia" yet, and it turned out they'd already given it to someone else! I waited 50 minutes for nothing!

The world frit Mexico was not my thing though good service

It's nice and quiet here, despite being adjacent to the main road. Great value for money. We'll definitely be back and would happily recommend this shop. Top notch.

We had a delicious and inexpensive meal. The portions were large.

The Israeli fries and burgers were a hit. A truly different kind of snack bar. The milkshake was quite possibly the best I've ever had. Definitely worth a visit! And not to mention, the prices are reasonable.

Our family, including three teenagers, had a wonderful meal here! There were five of us, and we all chose a different "world fries"—what a treat! We also sampled each other's dishes and each has our own favorite :) You really can't go wrong. A delicious, surprising meal for only €9 per person. A fantastic location and friendly staff! For us THE restaurant on Texel where we ALWAYS go when we are on Texel. We always order the Indonesian fries from the world. This version is REALLY TASTY! 1 portion is actually enough for the big eater... but sometimes we order an extra portion for both of us... and that is also eaten 😀 The staff is friendly and customer-oriented. Even when we are on the other side of the island we drive especially to Wilma. A DIRECT RECOMMENDATION!

I "only" had a lamb burger (Texel lamb) and a regular portion of potatoes with satay sauce. The burger was very good. The bun was actually slightly crispy, and the ratio of meat to salad and sauce was very good. The meat was juicy and lightly seasoned (perfect!). The regular portion of potatoes... in terms of quantity, it would be considered at least a medium portion. Nice color, crispy, and the sauce was extra special; nothing was soggy. The price/performance ratio is very good. Friendly service at the order window. Recommended.

For us, the Wilma burger is simply the best on Texel!

3.5* It's a fast food restaurant, nothing special, average. The fries had little salt, The chicken stick came without sauce, but tasted really good (I added the sauce in the picture myself) The sauce on the fries was kind of bland... Certainly not the worst choice on the island. The square and outside area are peaceful.

Cheerful service, tastiest soft ice cream: I accidentally got regular fries instead of rasp fries. Not bad, it's tasty too. Despite the crowds, the employee remembered me and I received a soft ice cream as a gift for dessert. Great service!

Fries, limp croquette, too cold and chicken was not cooked inside. And that while it wasn't even busy. Never eat there again

Very tasty food at reasonable prices. If you're on vacation in Crimea, save yourself the trouble of ordering in the complex and drive a few meters further to this snack bar. The food in the complex isn't bad either, but it's no comparison to Wilma. Fresh and delicious!

First of all, the price-performance ratio is good. However, you shouldn't expect the world's best burger. The patties are ready and not homemade and the bun is sticky. All in all, very reasonable. The fries are very tasty. You also have to know that you are sitting right next to a parking lot.

Wilma Eten & Drinken in De Cocksdorp offers, among other things, delicious (world) fries. Truly the tastiest fries I have eaten in a long time, both the Indonesian and the Texel ones are recommended. Friendly service and generous portions. All in all, highly recommended. 5*

This is the best snack bar on Texel that is also (partly) open in November. The world dishes are highly recommended, especially the Texel with stew. Tip: do not take any other dish with it; it's enough for you. The satay sauce is also delicious.

Super nice service and given the extremely high level of activity, you get your food relatively quickly. The Wilma Burger is an absolute highlight, with various French fries specialties 'Wereld friet' there's variety :-). You can sit comfortably inside for a quick snack, it can get crowded inside, Wilma is just popular. There are also plenty of places outside. Or you can take your order to-go... Wilma is our absolute must-have
