Woodz, voor ons onbekend, maar wel lekker dichtbij hotel beekhuizen Telefonisch gereserveerd, ging prima, beleefd, snel geregeld We kwamen aan , gastvrij onthaal, ligging in bos en heerlijke plek buiten. De kaart, vond het een beperkt aanbod, kaart mag wat uitgebreid worden bediening was prima, eten voor ons redelijk. wel een heerlijke plek

Snappen er niets van laten klanten wachten bij een bord. Plaats genoeg aan tafels. Argument van medewerkster dat de keuken het niet aan kan. Niet gevraagd wat we kwamen doen. We wilden alleen wat drinken.

Onprettige ervaring met een van de leden van het bedienend personeel. Bij het opnemen van de bestelling vroeg ik om een glas kraanwater. Ons werd een karaf water aangeboden met citroen en munt. Daar bleek een prijs aan vast te zitten, toen ik daarnaar vroeg: €1,50. Op de afrekening stond een bedrag van €2,00 voor de karaf water plus een bedrag van €0,50 voor schijfjes citroen. Toen ik erop wees bij dezelfde persoon, bij wie ik besteld had, dat hij €1,50 had genoemd, zie hij Ja, €1,50 of €2,00 of €2,50. De rekening voor de citroenschijfjes was voor de citroen, die bij de thee geleverd zou zijn, wat niet klopte. Ik was te verbaasd door deze reactie om de rekening te weigeren. Ik hield er achteraf een heel vervelend gevoel aan over. Bejegening niet netjes en brutaal. Excuus was op zijn plaats geweest.

Ordered a cheese board last week for 14.50. Some lame thin slices of cheese are brought with an interesting story, three pieces of bread, a handful of nuts and 5 cubic centimeters of jam. Indicated that we did not find this acceptable in terms of quantity in relation to the price. We were compensated. Was delicious. Returned this week, even indicated in advance that we expected something for 14.50. An even crappier board was brought in than last week. We don't like that much silliness. We won't be back. 1 star.

Friendly staff and nicely located in the forest. Perfect if you're a guest of the park, but also when you're just passing by. Menu is complete and also include something for kids. One point of critique is that during colder months, dishes should be served hot, on a hot plate.

The food was tasty and of good quality. Staff were nice. Unfortunately it took a long time for someone to take our order, and then even longer for the food to be brought. It is certainly not a suitable place to have dinner on a slightly less warm evening; the heaters were broken. If you have to wait 1 hour and 45 minutes for a starter and main course, the cold is really not pleasant.

We had a delicious meal here. A sandwich as a starter with a delicious glass of rose and a burger and ravioli as a main course. There was nothing to complain about here. The atmosphere in the restaurant was romantic, in the woods and half outside. We had dinner here on a cold day and the staff was very kind by giving us blankets against the cold. In addition, the heat lamps were on properly, so we certainly didn't feel cold.

Beautiful location in the middle of the forest, you really feel like you are in the middle of nature here. There also seems to be a lot of thought here about the environmental footprint and what you can do about it. Tasty beer, but quite expensive. In that respect it resembles the center of Rome. However, two stars less: you do not feel welcome at the reception. The lady who arranges 'access' still has to learn hospitality, or she is completely fed up with it. Still, we quickly got a spot...

Nice atmosphere, nicely set up. We ordered several dishes from the menu at 2:50 PM. (1 dish was from the dinner menu so we couldn't order it until 3pm) It seemed like the staff didn't really enjoy their work.

Treated ridiculously today. Just wanted something to drink. According to the waiter we had to wait, even though there were still enough seats. 2 different orders at 1 table was not possible. Not even if we immediately paid for our drinks in cash. Seemed like cojona time. We will never spend our money here again and I recommend everyone do the same.

The entourage is of course absolutely fantastic. Whether you have lunch or dinner there, good cuisine, nice menu and friendly, fast service.

Even een pitstop voordat ik startte met een lange wandeling. Koffie en appeltaart genomen. Beide lekker. Het ziet er leuk uit met de lounge stoelen met vachten er op. Ik zou het iets gezelliger aankleden. Nu leek alles lukraak neergezet te zijn, ik kreeg zelf de neiging met stoelen te schuiven. Verder heerlijke plek zo in het bos.

Weer eens gegeten bij Woodz, gereserveerd om 18:30 en daarvoor heerlijk door de bossen gelopen, heerlijk koel in het bis op deze verder hete dag. Wat een een geweldige locatie, zeker op een zonnige dag. Wat opvalt is dat er bijna geen verkeer is omdat er geen auto's door mogen naar de Postbank. Vooraf deelden we een broodplankje en het voorgerecht met de rivierkreeftjes, lekker. Daarna de entrecote, ik heb er geen frietjes bij besteld, maar de portie vataat was iets te bescheiden, maar wel veel groente, als desert cheesecake want de brownie was op. Geen culinaire hoogstandjes maar al met al goed gegeten en de locatie maakt het onbetaalbaar.Bediening is zeer attent.

Great location, friendly service, but the Dinerburger was disappointing. Flavor mainly comes from some kind of onion that, it seems, has been seasoned with BBQ sauce. Burger itself and the pulled chicken had little taste. Too bad they only have 1 type of sandwich and you can't choose it yourself (which was also quite bland in taste). Too bad, there is room for improvement here.

Nice place to sit. Friendly service. Food is disappointing afterwards. The mozzarella were from that supermarket ball. They were cut and it looked like rubber. The pork loin lacked flavor. Everything else was well prepared, but there are still opportunities here.

A wonderfully atmospheric spot. Near our hotel, boutique hotel Beekhuizen. A few tips for improvement; The cheese board could use a little more crackers or rolls and the salmon could be less well cooked. Don't change anything else!

We only had a drink here. Food: €12 for two beers. Ridiculous, the center of Rome is even cheaper. Service: We had to wait a while because our hostess had to help her colleague from the campsite with a gate that did not open. In the meantime, a beautiful spot had become available, which was occupied a few minutes later by guests who were already seated. Then we had to listen to a sermon from our hostess about how rain was coming and there was no room outside and only one table was available inside. That was for us. Why then do we have to hear a sermon? We were then quickly asked if we wanted something to drink. I had just started to see what they had and pointed it out. I was waited on until I made a decision. I felt pressured so I only found out after ordering that they also had cocktails. While enjoying our beer we were approached several times by the staff, I also saw this happen to other guests. This made us feel like we either had to consume more or leave. So we left quickly. Atmosphere: the location is nice. So if that's what you're going for and you don't care about paying too much and being treated unfriendly and pushy, then this is a place for you.

On the edge of the forest, beautiful location. Delicious food and drinks. Today an Italian ball of carpaccio and one with egg salad. It is also possible to spend the night here. Will definitely come back here again.

First time even though we always cycle past it. First of all, beautiful place and location, it was also packed. The waitress was short-handed and therefore did not come to take the order. Only when you spoke to her did she come up with the menu or you could order something. I had the Caesar salad. Was very disappointing, very salty and there was no bread with it, at that price I expected a slice or 2. Smoothies very tasty, but everything was just over the top with the price. I understand in terms of location, but I wouldn't have lunch there again. It also took over 40 minutes for our order to arrive. Asking again and then the food came.

We often come to Woodz, but I have never written a review about it. Today was apparently a bad day (very unfortunate). There were not many ingredients due to a wedding the day before. Therefore, no alternative is offered for some things. If you then say “just have fries” then it will also be added to the bill. You have to ask for drinks yourself (which is normally really great). The service was also far from cheerful... all in all, a shame for such a nice place where you can eat and drink really well.

Nice location, especially with children! We had a bread board in advance, but unfortunately the bread was very dry and far from “freshly” baked. The Dinner burger was very tasty and the fries also tasted good! Nice staff, unfortunately not 5 stars because the bread board was disappointing!

We stopped here spontaneously and had a seat outside. The service was very good and friendly. The ambience is very nice. We tried two different burgers (vegetarian and non-vegetarian) and were very full of them.

Very strange that there is soup on the lunch and dinner menu, but you cannot get soup at 4:30 PM. You could only order the cheese board as a dessert, not separately. No complicated dishes. In my experience you are really missing the point. No problem we had limited time to stay, hadn't booked so that's what it is. Too bad you have to wait a long time before you are helped. There was a very friendly, helpful young man walking around. The ladies had a little more difficulty with that. Too bad, because it is a cozy looking location in a beautiful spot.

Food was fine. Not amazing but don’t have anything bad to say about it either. Cappuccino wasn’t great and the ginger orange tea (orange as paid add on) came with literally one small slice of each. The servers were friendly, though what seemed to be the manager came off a bit moody.

Clubsandwitch is vreselijk. Ik had voor 17 euro een club sandwich met zalm. Het brood was veel te dik, droog.De tonijn salade was tonijn uit blik zo op brood geen rode ui gezien en geen wasabi. Zalm was slechte kwaliteit, dik en bruine stukkenWel veel sla. Het dikke brood was veel korst en kruimelde terug op het bord na een hap. Een teleurstellingvan totaal 125 euro voor 4 personen. 2 tevreden en 2 minder. Woodz was een malig.

Doordat ik voedsel intolerantie heb, moet ik gluten- en lactosevrij eten. De kok heeft, tot twee keer toe, alles uit de kast gehaald om een overheerlijke maaltijd te bereiden. Ik weet uit ervaring dat dat echt niet vanzelfsprekend is. De bediening was reuze vriendelijk. En ons hondje was van harte welkom. Kortom een welverdiende dikke 10 en zeker voor herhaling vatbaar!

Eten duurde enorm lang en toen t kwam was de friet meer dan lauw! Gelukkig netjes opgelost met n nieuwe bak hete friet

This could have been such a lovely place considering the location it’s based at, but I’m afraid it’s just not the case here. The menu and food are just so basic here, that even the simplest burger doesn’t taste good at all. It’s like you’re eating a bun, meat, tomato and some greens separately - they could have been served apart, and there wouldn’t be any difference at all. It’s very poor taste - even the side salad was better than the burger, and it cost €20! Overpriced and not tasty - it’s best to find another place to eat if you’re in the area. It could be good for a snack and a drink, but not for the proper meal.

Woodz is een prima plek om na een wandeling (of zonder voorafgaande wandeling) op te laden met een hapje en een drankje. Het is heerlijk om eens niet midden in de stad af te spreken met vrienden of familie en de sfeer is erg ontspannen. Af en toe rennen er wat kinderen rond en er liggen regelmatig honden tussen de stoelen en tafels, dus als dat niet je ding is, dan is dit niet je plek. Voor iedereen die wél een normale acceptatiegrens heeft, is het een verrassend leuk plekje, gelegen aan de mooiste weg van Nederland.

Gewoon goed eten en drinken maar vooraal een TOP locatie. De ligging is geweldig

Aardige bediening, goed eten en unieke plek in het bos (vlakbij ons hotel). Ook Mooie borrehappen om ff gezellig een wijntje te doen.

De locatie is een tent die vast zit aan een paar zeecontainers. Heel bijzonder. Wel is het erg sfeervol. Schapenvacht op de stoel, warmtelamp aan en het is toch aangenaam. De dagsoep, paprikasoep smaakte mij niet echt super, ik vond hem te wrang. De bavette van kalsvlees was zeer smaakvol, maar had iets langer gemogen; was wel erg rosé. Personeel super vriendelijk en behulpzaam dus al met al een hele positieve ervaring!

28/02/2022 Schattig restaurantje in de Veluwe. Het eten was erg lekker, maar het is er wel een beetje koud. Al met al een aanrader. 24/09/2023 Ik ben er nog een keer geweest, het eten is nog beter dan voorheen en de sfeer is heerlijk. Lekker tussen de bomen en allemaal vrolijke mensen, zeker een aanrader om even langs te gaan.

Heel gezellig restaurant, midden in het bos, zeer vriendelijk personeel, fijne sfeer,.leuk ingericht binnen en buiten.

Hier even leuk gezeten na de rode route verkeerd te hebben gelopen. Het station gezien en dat was niet nodig. Fijn dat we hier even konden zitten en wat drinken. Nog een pompoen soep voor de vrouw en een toilet bezoek. Leuk plekje.

Chai latte was prima. Met optie havermelk en een stukje boterkoek. Gezellig terras en voldoende speelruimte voor kinderen.

Nice calm place, good to chill after hike

Ze noemen het een Panini maar mag de naam niet dragen. Een stokbrood waarop van tevoren bruine strepen op worden gedrukt het heeft geen rooster gezien en dan noemen het een panini en dan ook nog 11,95 vragen, schandalig eigenaar van deze tent. De bediening was vriendelijk en de sfeer perfect maar het eten sorry dit mag echt geen panini heten.

Tot op heden alleen bij Woods geweest voor een lekkere kop koffie na een trail te hebben gelopen. De sfeer is heerlijk, je kunt er lekker relaxed genieten van een hapje en een drankje aan de rand van de Veluwezoom voor of na een wandeling.

Hele mooie, verrassende locatie voor een hapje en een drankje. 👌
