World kitchen by Shiran in Centrum

The visit to the establishment was wonderful, the food of Spanish and Italian cuisine was very tasty, especially tortillas, watermelon pasta and eggplant lasagna. All dishes are presented personally by the chef, which adds to the pleasant atmosphere and attention to each client. I really liked it!

Finally I came here after a long time hearing from my friends that I should come and visit this place. The food was amazing and service impeccable. I learned that its a rotating menu and the day I went we had Portuguese and Chinese cousines which were delicious! (Shoutout to the Portuguese francezinha, it was rly delicious and I loved it). Definitely a must if youre nearby in Eindhoven City.

Been wanting to go here for a while and heard about the amazing food and the fantastic rating. But I'm really sad to say that the food was not that good at all. We had the Portuguese and Chinese mix. The Chinese food was pretty good - the beef was a bit dry and overdone, but otherwise very good. But the Portuguese dish was not cooked well; the beans tasted like they came out of a can and had no flavour. My only guess is that this is a one-off since everyone else's reviews are so positive. Regardless the service was really great and the atmosphere was amazing:)

Als je heerlijk wilt eten in een kleine knusse gezellige eetgelegenheid van max. 24 personen. Dan is Worldkitchen by Shiran the place 2 be. Iedere 2 maanden laat hij 2 nieuwe landen op je bord langskomen. Deze keer Portugal ebn België. Wat een feest. Iedere gang wordt uitgelegd en smaakte even lekker. Zeer vriendelijk personeel en zelfs de sanitaire stop is een genot voor t oog. Shiran en kompanen bedankt voor de zeer gezellige en smakelijke avond.

Last Thursday I drove through Eindhoven, I was hungry, didn't feel like eating mac, and I thought: 'look up to good to go'. Here we saw shiran. Never heard of it, but the good review made me curious. Once on location, a very small living room restaurant with 1 table full of people. I convinced my husband to go inside because I didn't dare anymore haha. He was completely full of love about the chef, the location, the guests, everyone was so enthusiastic, and I had 2 delicious meals! Moroccan and Indonesian! We are definitely going to eat there at the table someday!! Thanks

We've been walking past this for two years on our way downtown, and every time we said we had to try World Kitchen. We should have done this earlier. You enter through a narrow hallway where coats are immediately accepted. The chef/owner then comes to the table to tell us what we can expect. I especially enjoyed seeing that he had a good sense of which table did or did not need a chat. So you get a table full of dishes from a certain country twice. We were there during the Morocco and Indonesia menu. The amount of dishes you can try really exceeds expectations. Interesting flavors and fun to try the chefs interpretation of a particular cuisine. When we had cleared the table for the first time, there was of course a second round. Just as tasty, but in the end it is a lot. Then a dessert was also included. Value for money here is perhaps the best in Eindhoven. Every month we try to eat somewhere we've never been before and World Kitchen was by far the best of 2024. See you soon!

We spent a wonderful evening in Shiran's cozy restaurant. The owner and staff are friendly and welcoming. I liked the dishes of Spanish and Japanese cuisine presented. The food is tasty, interesting and varied, complemented by sauces that give harmony to the taste. Good wine and dessert complemented the pleasant emotions.

Onverwacht een lunch genoten bij Shiran. Ondanks dat hij eigenlijk alleen open was voor een gereserveerd gezelschap werd er direct plaats gemaakt voor ons op het terras. We werden ontzettend verrast met een heerlijke lunch. Geen kaart gewoon heerlijk eten wat de chef je voorzet. Wat een smaken en bijzondere gerechten. Wij komen zeker nog een keer terug als we weer in Eindhoven zijn . Kleine compacte zaak maar met de open keuken en de persoonlijke benadering van Shiran een echte aanrader.

Absolutely amazing! I went to this restaurant for dinner with my friend, and the Spanish/Japanese menu was served. The owner is brilliant and attentive to every single guest. But the food was the real gem—one of the best menus I’ve ever had in my life. Every course was delicious. This place is a must when you visit Eindhoven.

During this period, the menu featured Vietnamese and Italian cuisine. It was my first time trying Lebanese cuisine, and everything was delicious. However, the falafel stood out the most—it just melted in my mouth. The entire meal took about three hours. There are also delicious wines to choose from to accompany the dishes. Since it was a very hot day, the dessert with fruits and ice cream was a perfect addition. If you want to experience a gastronomic orgasm, I highly recommend visiting this establishment.

We visited this amazing place with our friends. That day, we were offered Lebanese and Italian cuisine. The food was very varied, simple at first glance, and very tasty. It was a taste of classic Italian and Lebanese homemade food. After the main courses, we enjoyed an amazing dessert. I was especially surprised that the chef served the food, shared the story of the dishes, and also communicated with us. The food was freshly prepared, and the portions were large. If you want to taste classic dishes from around the world in a cozy atmosphere, this is the place for you. I will definitely return to this establishment.

Fue una prueba de la comida casera clásica italiana y libanesa. Después de los platos principales, disfrutamos de un postre increíble. Me sorprendió especialmente que el chef sirviera la comida, compartiera la historia de los platos y también se comunicara con nosotros. Auf Empfehlung eines Freundes waren wir da essen und sind extra aus Wuppertal angereist. Zu dem Zeitpunkt gab es französische und philippinische Küche, da meine Mutter von den Philippinen herkommt, war ich sehr gespannt auf die Gerichte. Shiran (der Koch) hat uns jeden der drei Gänge persönlich vorgestellt und seine Kellnerin war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Pro Gang gab es mehrere kleinere Gerichte durch die man sich durchprobiert hat und wir nach dem Essen gut gesättigt. Man bekommt hier eine sehr authentische kulinarische Reise geboten, die einer gehobenen Küche gleichkommt, bei einer tollen familiären Atmosphäre, zu einem sehr guten Preis.

We ate there at the recommendation of a friend and came especially from Wuppertal. At that time there was French and Filipino cuisine, since my mother is from the Philippines, I was very excited about the dishes. Shiran (the chef) personally introduced each of the three courses to us and his waitress was very attentive and friendly. There were several smaller dishes per course that we tried our way through and we felt full after the meal. Here you get a very authentic culinary journey, which is equivalent to fine dining, at a very good price.

The no-menu restaurant near the apartment is always packed every day I pass by. To celebrate my birthday, I went to try some Middle Eastern and Indonesian food. The various dipping sauces in Middle Eastern cuisine are amazing. Satay brings back memories of eating it in Singapore, and sweet rice dumplings are my wife’s favorite. Although it's not something I'm used to eating, it's really delicious. The two pictures are the portions for my wife and me. You can take it out if you can't finish it. I look forward to going there again in two months with a different menu and trying dishes from two other countries.

Na jeugdwedstrijd vanuit Zeeland tegen PSV liepen we tegen deze schattige locatie aan. Zeer aimabele chef/gastheer die per periode een internationale keuken aanbiedt. Wij troffen “Midden-Oosten”. Heerlijke humus, babaganush, bulgursalade, linzensalade en shakshuka. Door de chef op maat en a la minute bereid omdat wij iets eerder weg moesten. Een topaanrader! Volgende wedstrijd in de buurt komen we zeker weer langs. Dankjewel voor deze mooie gastronomische ervaring en onze zoon is meteen fan (zie foto’s)

Enthousiaste en hardwerkende medewerkers en een mega leuke eigenaar die bij elke tafel zijn indrukwekkende verhaal kwam vertellen. Echt persoonlijke service. De persoonlijke bediening van de chef, de perfect op smaak gebrachte gerechten, de verschillende keukens die iedere 2 maanden wisselen en dat alles in een knus gemaakt restaurant. Als je van eten houdt en verschillende smaken en keukens wil proeven is dit een absolute aanrader !

Heerlijkgegeten, niets op aan te merken. Jammer dat ik voor een karaf water € 7,50 moet betalen. Volgens mij was ht gekoeld kraanwater. Dat vind ik echt een min punt als ik ook wijn drink.
