Delicious food, why go? Because eating sushi is essentially a mini-vacation for your taste buds. Every bite is a small work of art—fresh, refined, and surprising. And sharing sushi makes it extra cozy, perfect for a date, a night out with friends, or just because you can. The atmosphere inside looks fantastic. The only downside is that I was only inside, missing the hustle and bustle around me.

The two of us went to Xanthine for the first time instead of an all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant. Highly recommended! The best sushi we've had so far. It wasn't delivered to the table in a minute, but was freshly prepared to order; the perfect temperature, amazing flavors, and beautifully presented. Friendly service, who occasionally explained the dishes. Dessert in an ice cream bowl; how great is that? Delicious and relaxed dining; a real pleasure. The atmosphere would have been even better if the restaurant were a bit more crowded, hence the 4 stars. With this quality of food at a very reasonable price, that should be fine. We'll definitely be back!

The only one in Apeldoorn with ramen, we had to try it! And it was very good! Creamy broth, nice textured ramen (noodles) I had the spicy version, with oil sambal in it. With a dash of soy sauce added, you bring out the flavors even more! 👌🏼 The best ramen in the area eaten here! We once had ramen in Deventer and it was really disgustingly tasteless 😜 for Japanese ramen we always went to Uithoorn or Amstelveen, but now you can enjoy it here in Apeldoorn too! So happy! 😁🫶🏼 now just waiting for a Chinese dim sum place in Apeldoorn 🫣 and Chinese bamisoep, now that wing kee in Arnhem has retired.... haha

The restaurant is located on the first floor, but has a wheelchair lift. Very friendly service and clear instructions for ordering. Super fresh sushi ingredients with delicious flavor combinations. In short, definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended.

We were in Apeldoorn for a day and wanted to try sushi, but something different from the standard all-you-can-eat concept. Xanthine really stood out for us. They offer an Asian-style à la carte menu that perfectly suited our tastes. The restaurant itself looks beautiful inside – stylish and atmospheric. The staff was friendly and relaxed, which created a pleasant atmosphere. The food was simply excellent. Everything was fresh, well-seasoned, and perfectly seasoned (the meat was also incredibly tender). The sushi, in particular, stood out for its depth of flavor; not your standard rolls, but prepared with genuine care. In short, if you're in Apeldoorn and fancy delicious Asian dishes without that all-you-can-eat feeling, Xantine is highly recommended.

It's become a monthly dining experience. Still delicious. They serve the best sushi ever. Highly recommended. Unfortunately, it hasn't been discovered by the general public yet. Once you eat here, you won't want to eat sushi anywhere else. Young Chinese owners who lovingly serve delicious meals.

Delicious food.. There was a slight miscommunication about the timing of food but when we indicated it, it was resolved fast. We had a table in the back that was a bit isolated from other tables. So that was great!

On a quiet Sunday, after a walk through the Veluwe with a friend, I decided to eat here. Although you only have a view of a staircase when you enter, the photos online convinced me to take a look. A nice, cozy place with friendly staff. Unfortunately, only two tables were occupied. We had a great meal. The food arrived quickly and was hot and tasty. Generous portions and good sushi. You can tell they put time and effort into it. See you soon!

This is the best sushi and ramen I have ever had in the Netherlands. I felt like I was in Japan again. The taste was incredibly rich and delicious. The ramen was a very large, filling bowl. Unfortunately I could not finish it all. Really very good food, cozy atmosphere and nice service.

Delicious dinner with 5 people. First of all, we were welcomed very friendly and the concept was explained. Never had such delicious sushi before. Fine in taste and prepared with care. Chosen the tenderloin as a main course. When this is served, you really get hungry. It is placed in front of you while hissing. The tenderloin was wonderfully tender and tasty. Finally, dessert. All 5 of us had pictures of desserts. This also tastes delicious! In short, all 5 of us would love to come back here again!

This restaurant completely changed: instead of all-you-can-eat, it's now Asian fusion style. The maki sushi is excellent and well worth it. Tasty and fresh. The grill items are okay, and portion size is decent. The desserts, unfortunately, are kind of unimpressive. Tables are still very nicely spaced and music is very soft. Slightly understaffed, friendly and helpful. A great place for sushi, average for anything. else.

It is a beautiful, spacious restaurant with delicious food and lovely people. We recommend the tenderloin (served while baking on a baking tray) with a delicious sweet/sour sauce and vegetables, the sushi is also great! 1 tip, different quieter music that suits the chic restaurant

Because we wanted to try something different, we ate today at Xanthine, a not yet well-known restaurant in Apeldoorn. We really enjoyed the three-course menu from which we could choose for a low price. Every dish was freshly prepared and you could definitely taste it, delicious! What is also very nice is that all dishes are halal, with the exception of the carpaccio, which was immediately announced. Pork is not on the menu. You will find hospitality and cordiality in this restaurant. In short, highly recommended, especially for those who are looking for a restaurant that offers halal meat. We will definitely come back!

One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. My mom and I came across this restaurant by accident but were pleasantly surprised! This restaurant is definitely worth the money! Some things I personally really enjoyed about the restaurant: The staff is super friendly, the food is amazing, they have a great variety of foods on the menu, the food is cooked pretty fast, wheelchair friendly, the restaurant itself looks super nice and clean and even the bathroom was nice and had nice toilet paper! 5 stars from both my mom and I Will definitely revisit! :)

We had a fantastic meal here, beyond expectations! At the entrance we were unsure whether we should really enter here, but I'm glad we did. Super friendly service, ordering the dishes is done via a QR code on your phone and this took some getting used to, but once I went through the first steps it went fine. Nicely clear and fast. Extensive choice and large portions and very tasty! We don't live nearby, but if we do again we will definitely go back. This restaurant really deserves more attention. Give them a chance because they deserve it!

What I didn't know is that all dishes are prepared in the authentic way and with authentic herbs, etc. That might explain why I'm not generally fond of sushi and order it here every time. Been here twice. With a group of 6 and 4. Food is beautifully prepared and very tasty. The 3 course menu is more than sufficient and each course can be shared (sharing dinner). Ambience attractive. Recommended! Too bad there are few visitors. With good PR, better signs on the street with photos and ambiance, there is still a lot to be gained. Also ask for a more realistic price.

You have to create the atmosphere yourself..., but they provide a more than excellent evening with delicious uramaki and delicious main courses that are difficult to choose from. The restaurant and staff are on a high level. If you want to order, you can only use the QR code that every table has, and this QR code will redirect you to the website that contains the menu and pictures, it's a great idea. The menu should be supplemented with better photos and more description of the given food. As for the food, it was tasty, but the portions were small, I'm not even talking about the dessert, which was suitable for a small child and not for an adult... asking 5 euros for a tiny piece of cake and a scoop of ice cream... Poor selection of soups and desserts .

The sushi (and the Xanthine roll as a highlight) is delicious and fresh. You can't get them much better. Good amount of food (not too much and not too little), lots of choice, food is prepared with attention, not expensive and a nice atmosphere. We have been twice now and will definitely come back!
