Xu Noodle Bar Eindhoven in Centrum

My girlfriend and I were on a weekend getaway. We stayed in a hotel nearby and came across this place. It looked nice, so we went straight in. There's a great musical atmosphere, and the decor complements it beautifully! The concept of ordering yourself via QR code is certainly innovative and original, and the service that followed was fantastically fast and ideal! The food was absolutely delicious! In short: the perfect experience if you're going away for a weekend and want to eat here!

A small, cozy place with excellent ravioli, ramen, and noodles. Beer or alcohol is not available, but soft drinks, water, and green tea are available. Friendly staff.

Hands down my favourite ramen place in Eindhoven. I usually get the chicken teriyaki ramen, and everything in the bowl is absolutely delicious. The broth is rich, the noodles are perfect, and all the toppings come together so well.

I've gone there like 6 times throughout a year and every single time the food is just increíble. I live in Spain but when I visit the country I always try to eat in Xu (specially in Eindhoven, the cook there must be awesome -tomorrow, actually, we'll go there from Nijkerk just for the food hahaha-). We always order Chicken teriyaki noodles and sweet sour rice and the meat is soft in the inside, super crunchy in the outside, the proportion of meat and other ingredients it's just perfect, and the sauces are also matching perfectly. Our favourite restaurant in the whole country! we hope we can keep enjoying it's food for so many years.

I visited Xu Noodle Bar Eindhoven with my wife and friends on Sunday afternoon, June 22, 2025, while meeting friends. Food: The quality of the food was very high. The Classic Chicken Dumplings appetizer was exceptional – the delicate dough with a crispy base and juicy filling made a huge impression. The ramen soups here are a real treat – the flavor, texture, temperature, and variety were perfectly crafted. Service: The waiter and all the staff were very friendly. There was no artificial courtesy – everything was natural, with a genuinely friendly approach to the customer. Atmosphere and Decor: The decor is simple, neat, and clean – just how we like it. The atmosphere suits the Japanese cuisine served and creates an authentic feel. Pricing and Value for Money: The prices are commensurate with the quality and local standards. The portions are generous, large, and filling. Overall impression: Good atmosphere, delicious food, a neat and clean place, and impeccable staff. This is our second visit here, and it certainly won't be our last!

Had a delicious meal with a friend. I had the vegan tofu rice bowl with homemade jasmine tea and mochi for dessert. The dishes arrived quickly, and the service was friendly. The only downside was that I couldn't order the mochi via the QR code. Otherwise, it has a nice ambiance. It has an Asian street food vibe to it. I'll definitely be back.

When your waiter drops a full saucer of soy sauce on a customer, at least bring him a drink for the unconvenience. Great noodles though.

Servers started to clean and shut off the music while we were eating. The store was supposed to stay open for 30 more minutes. I'm never coming back there. I can still taste the cleaning solution they sprayed the table with while we were eating. Totaly not profossional Like if they didnt want to serve us because it was too late, they should have told us when we ordered (gladly left if I knew I would get this treatment) . But if you take some their order, stay professional! Dont bully us out of the store when taken our money

Delicious food with great staff as always

Great stuff and service, very quick also. The veggie soup with beef and eggs were perfectly done. I just think the noddles in general can be better, this one just tastes average. However noodles without soup with the sauce was very nice. Cozy small place with a nice location. This can definitely a go-to place for noodles/ramen in Eindhoven.

Great place for a date, dining with friends, or just eating alone. Relaxed atmosphere with nice music. I always come to Xu Noodles when I'm in the area for something tasty :)

I've been enjoying the delicious noodles here for years. The only thing I find disappointing is that you suddenly have to order via a QR code instead of a staff member taking your order, as was the case before. Otherwise, I'm always satisfied with the food!

The best WonTon soup in the world!

Classic ramen, fair prices, and really fast service! The place is clearly visible on the street, with tables outside as well. The interior is simply and pleasantly decorated. I would return to try other dishes.

I always have a good experience here. Service is good, food is really tasty and the place's design is pretty. They don't make reservations, but that was never a problem because everytime I was able to get a table right away.

I recommend this place to my family and friends frequently, the food is really good and the employees are friendly. Most dont seem to be able to speak Dutch which is something to keep in mind but their service and food definitely makes up for it.

Delicious! Homemade noodles and soups, great choice of appetisers, soups, noodles, rice bowls and bao. We tried one of each type and it was really great. Very friendly staff and nice cosy atmosphere. Jasmine tea is tasty. Attention, no beer or and alcoholic beverage.

Amazing food! Flavours are on spot, fast and nice service. Keep an eye on the side dishes they are delicious! My favourite spicy tofu and fried tempura sweet potatoes.

Great selection of different style ramens, noodles and some other asian style dishes, very filling and flavorful ramen, recommend the Jasmine Green (iced tea) very refreshing and mild taste.

Pork noodle soup, noodles taste ok but lukewarm, egg came right out of the fridge so was still ice cold. Mentioned this to the waitress who reacted with indifference.

Underrated! Everything tastes amazing, they serve filling portions at quite low price and the staff is very quick and friendly. They have the best gyozas in town I have tried and their soups are delicious. The fried noodles and pokebowls are good as well, but their noodle soup is the best! The sweet and sour chicken is incredible, but the noodles with it are better than the pokebowl! ;) The only thing is that the place is very small, otherwise no complaints at all! PS: No alcoholic drinks at the restaurant

The food was good, but we are used to it having a little more content (vegetables and meat). But the quality was very good. However, the staff seemed to be there as punishment. They seemed very bored, especially the girl who received us. That barely included a friendly smile or good day. I was also irritated/bored all the time looking around or drawing on a piece of paper.

We have been there several times and both the Ramen, gyozas and other dishes are very delicious. The price is quite good which means that it is usually full.

Had the Chicken Teriyaki Fried (Egg) Noodles and the Crispy Fried Chicken Side Dish (this was disappointing 😭) But the place was cute and they gave stickers!! (I love stickers)

Omg tastes really a 10!!! Portion sizes are good too. Decor super nice. Staff very friendly. Definitely come back here!! It's a pity that the place is so small because reservations are not possible, but fortunately there is still room at a high bar. Opening a branch in Heerlen would be fantastic 🤩.

Very tasty spicy beef noodle soup and sweet sour chicken with rice. I first received sweet sour chicken with noodles by mistake, but that was changed quickly and without any problems!

Much smaller portion of rice bowl than in Tilburg, you are not full by any means. You will definitely get twice as much rice in Tilburg so you are really full. Now I had to order more to be full, otherwise I wouldn't have done that. No 2nd time Xu in Eindhoven for me…

I randomly stumbled upon this restaurant and didn’t hold high hope on the quality, but the kimchi noodle soup did pleasantly surprise me. I think the soup was thick and flavorful, it seemed to have miso inside that was a nice mix. The pork slices weren’t very tender but I did like the noodle texture. The staff was super nice and polite. What I didn’t like was that the place didn’t seem to be well aerated with its open kitchen, te entire eating space was covered with the smell of fried food and cooking, it was difficult to get rid of that smell out of my clothes afterwards…

Don't bother to waste your money here. For 16 euros you're getting unbearably oversalted "broth" ( which I think is just Knorr or Maggie bullion cubes) and lots of corn. Seriously. Oh, yeah, half of en egg as well. Unfortunately could not find any meat in my "Pork" soup. Only some cut out leftovers more suitable for dogs. If you want better experience - get any instant cup noodles. Better and way cheaper experience guaranteed. What they serve isn't even close to be a soup. I have doubts if they even have a real cook or kitchen stuff in there cause no cook will ever serve you an utterly salty soup, as all the broths will be carefully tasted beforehand.

Very good noodle soups with good service. One issue though: there should be another way to deliver soups. I'd rather not drink melted plastic bags with my soup.

Been coming to Xu's for years and it's always delicious. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Tip: when the tables are removed, do not spray on the tables first because you will inhale that dirty spray. First spray the cloth and then wipe the tables.

Super Noodle Bar, definitely worth a visit if you're in Eindhoven. Beautiful design, menu, decor... everything is very well themed. Friendly staff, and the food was ready super fast. I personally chose the Fried Noodles Chicken Teriyaki and really enjoyed it. We also shared the Chicken Teriyaki Dumplings, which were definitely worth it as well. The portions are more than sufficient, and the quality is excellent! Moreover, everything is very reasonably priced. Highly recommend this noodle bar! We'll definitely be coming back here again.

This place definitely hits a spot. At a nice relatively calm location it’s a nice place to enjoy some noodles soup or curry and people watch (if you’re sat outside ofc) My spicy beef soup had a rich broth with a good portion of noodles and beef along with other sour and sweet elements. The curry was super rich too but we got relatively little curry compared to how much rice we got. The service was a little lacklustre and I had to go inside multiple times to have the servers come to us and felt a little bit forgotten about even when we were the only customers at the time. I’d definitely come back again for the food!

My favorite place to eat in Eindhoven, portions are huge!

I heard from my friends that this restaurant was opened by someone from my home country. So, why not have a try there. I went there with my husband and son, expecting for a high quality food. It disappointed me especially their Boba. The boba tastes like plain water and it’s the worst boba I ever had. However, the noodles are fine, chasu looks nice but not so tasty. Place is small and compact. Overall ok for a simple dinner but don't order boba.

We ordered the bao buns with fried honey chicken. The bao buns themselves are very tasty. Only some pieces were pork instead of chicken. The lemon chicken that we ordered separately was also fried completely dry. A bit disappointing. The teryiaki mushrooms were delicious!

Wow, what a nice surprise! We were welcomed by a person who spoke perfect English and who knew about allergens (100% rice noodles for coeliacs). The dish is hearty and delicious for a very affordable price. I also tried their jasmine iced tea, it was very thirst quenching. We look forward to returning. PS: the spiciness when indicated is really spicy, fans take note 😉!

Nice Saturday lunch while exploring the center of Eindhoven. We have chosen this restaurant because of the positive reviews. I ordered the Wonton Lover with extra chili oil. The food was good, but quite pricey for noodles soup. The broth was delicious, the pork could have been marinated better. Good portion, left the restaurant satisfied.
