Ordered from them on Thuisbezorgd. Order never came. They refused to help.

Upon entering, they say you can sit anywhere, but after I sat down for 1 second, I wasn't allowed to sit at that table, so I left immediately.

Unfortunately, Xu has been reducing their portions for a while now, and as a regular customer, I can see it firsthand. I've been going there since the restaurant opened, and I have to admit, the food is a real gamble. I was there two or three weeks ago, and even though I already double the chicken, sauce, and vegetables because the chicken portions are laughable, the food was really good, large pieces of chicken, and there was actually twice as much as expected. There was also a lot of teriyaki sauce, quite a bit. The whole meal was a real 10/10. I've been eating the same set for years – dumplings and teriyaki chicken with rice. Today, unfortunately, I had the worst meal I've ever had at Xu. Despite ordering extra chicken, teriyaki sauce, and pak choi, the only extra I got was pak choi. As soon as I cleared the dish with a fork, I saw there was literally a drizzle of sauce. I asked the waitress for the extra sauce I paid for, and I got it. As I continued eating, I noticed that there was very little chicken, literally shreds. I can say without hesitation that the "extra" portion I paid for wasn't there. I thought it might be hidden somewhere, but after eating the dish, I was only disappointed. Not only was the chicken literally shreds and more breading than meat, but my extra portion I paid for wasn't there either. Ultimately, the €20 dish was neither tasty nor satisfying. A huge disappointment for my favorite restaurant in Tilburg. Unfortunately, I won't be giving it another chance for a long time 😢

Very good food and friendly service

My wife got food poisoning and became sick from it. The matcha iced coffee was genuinely disgusting. And the service was bad. 1 star is too much just because my wife got sick from it. Don't go, there are much better options on the street.

The food was decent, but it didn’t live up to the expectations. Even the person who recommended mentioned that the quality of the food severely declined recently, which was disappointing.

One of the best places to eat in Tilburg. I personally recommend the sweet sour chicken ricebowl it's unbeatable on the menu. I would however recommend booking in advance. They have 50% of the restaurant available for bookings and the other is for people who don’t book. At least I believe that’s how they usually try to set it up. The staff is very nice and the cocktails are great. Honestly not only is the food great but it is also genuinely a good place to go for a drink only. They also have a shelf with some board games if you want to play with friends.

An Asian restaurant in the center of Tilburg. The interior decor looks nice. You order via the QR code on the table or you can speak to a staff member. We went for a Local Taste tasting platter. For a Taste coin, you could choose between half a Rice Bowl Sweet Sour Chicken or Sweet Sour Tofu. For a drink, we had Ramune Yuzu Citrus, which was very tasty! Opening it was done in a peculiar way: you have to press the cap with a small plastic tamper (which is included) so that the marble inside the bottle falls down. That was fun to do. We had a lot of fun with the bottle, so time flew by and we didn't have to wait long. The food looked nice. Everything was roughly cut, though, so there were large pieces of bell pepper, chicken, tofu, and mushroom. We didn't get a spoon with it, so we asked for one. Eating was a bit difficult. Everything was in a small bowl that was so full it was difficult to get a spoon in, and because the rice was at the bottom, you had to eat from the top first, leaving you with nothing but dry rice in the end. A larger, wider plate could be a solution. But we had a great time here and enjoyed our meal!

If you want flavorless seasonless spiceless ramen, this place is your go to! Just for the people who hate food that has too many flavors and seasons, this place is where you should go to find a bunch of veggies and noodles baked in water with nothing else! Jokes aside, may be ok for some but not really what is expected from a noodle place. Maybe we got the wrong meal, but overall seems spiceless.

Had a delicious meal! I had the kimchi pork noodle dish and it was divine. You also get plenty, so you leave with a full stomach. I don't live nearby, otherwise I would definitely have come back!

Update: Teriyaki chicken noodles were lovely! Back to 5 stars. ——- Friendly staff and great food. The chicken curry soup was very tasteful, but not spicy. If you like spicy, definitely ask them to spice it up a bit more. I gave only three stars though as the lemon chicken was overcooked and very dry.. No lemon taste at all. I would still recommend Xu Noodle Bar! I will definitely come back to try other dishes, as the menu looks great

Those noodles are delicious. The menu clearly explains what's in them. I find this very pleasant. Unfortunately, you have to order via QR code, but that makes it easy to customize the dish. This is the only place where I don't find ordering via QR code annoying. Fortunately, the physical menus are present on the table.

We definitely come here for dinner every two weeks on Thursday evenings. Delicious and fresh. It's a shame they still don't know you even though you've been there over 40 times ;)

Good food. Staff will even take your plate away from under your nose within two nanoseconds of your last bite.

Unfortunately, there were double bookings, and we had to wait for a table despite having booked ahead of time. It was a chaotic evening, and not all the dishes were as we ordered. Of course, we received an apology and a drink of our choice. And the food is always delicious. We'll do better next time.

Very nice chicken Teriyaki and curry chicken soup

This used to be my favorite restaurant in Tilburg. That changed after my last visit a while ago. I was served a dish containing bok choy that tasted spoiled to me. I calmly mentioned this to the host, not asking for a refund or discount, only suggesting the kitchen double-check it. Her response was to dismiss my experience outright and tell me I was wrong. She did not taste the dish herself. Instead, this led to several minutes of discussion in which she repeatedly insisted it was impossible for the bok choy to be spoiled, while dismissing my concern. After this back-and-forth, she said: "Maybe you just don't know what it's supposed to taste like? I grew up with bok choy, and I don't think you did." This assumption about my background was inappropriate and unnecessary. Regardless, I know how this restaurant's dishes usually taste, and I know what spoiled vegetables taste like At that point, whether the bok choy was actually spoiled became irrelevant. This is simply not how you speak to a customer who raises a concern in good faith. The situation could have been resolved instantly with: "Okay, I'll let the kitchen know." Nothing more was needed. I genuinely liked this place and came here often. This interaction ensured I won't return, and I've explained why to others as well. One star for a restaurant that used to be great, but lost me entirely due to how this was handled

We arrived without a reservation and there was a ticket-based waiting system, which I found very organized and efficient. The ramen I ordered was very good overall, with a flavorful broth and well-balanced seasoning. The only odd thing was that the pork slices were served cold and were quite fatty, which slightly took away from the experience. One small downside was that one of the drinks listed on the printed menu was not available at the bar. Aside from these minor points, everything was very good, and I would definitely come back.

The seating rules don’t really make sense, since there was hardly anyone in the restaurant, yet we still couldn’t choose our own table. 🤨 Strange....walked out and went to Dadavan. ................ Edit to your reply: Thank you for the reply, but after enjoying a lovely meal at Dadavan, we passed your restaurant again on the way to the parking lot and it was still as empty as when we left. This was around 5:00 pm to 5.30pm.

Delicious food and a great variety of homemade drinks, Asian food and drinks (even deserts!). Improving small things like serving small dishes when serving a sharing plate or having more napkins, utensils, etc is always welcome. Other than that, the entire decoration and atmosphere is cozy and inviting to come more times. We really like the website and the way to order food to your table. Very user friendly

The food was delicious, but there were far too few vegetables. You don't pay for the service, and unfortunately, you can't pay with cash either.

Lovely restaurant with an extensive menu, friendly staff, and good prices. Reservations are recommended, as it's always very busy. The food was absolutely delicious; the only downside was that they were unfortunately out of mochi ice cream. Oh well, we'll definitely be back!

Great ramen and side dishes. But why are you open so little? And then on days when you are open, it's packed. Super annoying.

We picked up two noodle dishes (chicken & beef). The noodles tasted good, but there were very few (if any) vegetables: two bok choy leaves and some bean sprouts. For the price, the meal could have been more filling; with only noodles (a generous portion), some meat (a moderate amount), and almost no vegetables, it was quite disappointing. But as mentioned, the taste was good. The staff was friendly, and we didn't have to wait long for our order.

The staff is very rude and the food gets delivered so late. I saw a couple kissing and having a good time and the waitress interrupted them and told the couple to stop kissing. What’s the problem of the waitress? I didn’t like the service, food and the ambiance. Also too much noise from street and bright light with no curtains coming from the street

Give your staff clear instructions so they don't chase customers away. First you get carte blanche. Then move again, really sad. Good for the competition though because we had a very nice meal 100m further!!! What is clear is that you don't want to serve a certain type of customers on your floor, a warned person...

Just really good noodles! I had the spicy black garlic pork noodles and they were perfect. Spicy but not too much, well cooked, full of flavour. Service was speedy and friendly.

unfortunately the info on the local taste website was not correct...confusing. The gyoza was fine, boa bun unfortunately had little sauce and taste.

Nice Asian food and generally a cool place, but next time I'd like to eat ramen with dumplings that are a bit less overcooked ;-)

Our waitress was very kind to recommend her favourite dishes, which turned out to be great! She warned us about the portions being big and she was right.

The noodles seem to be better than a couple years ago. The fried tofu is overly pricey. Other than that, we don't really have complaints.

The food is delicious with an authentic flavor, and it looks very appetizing too. Unfortunately, it's a bit more expensive due to the plastic surcharge. But it's worth it.

Food is fantastic, that's what I pay for. If you think it's too expensive, go to McDonalds. Service is fast waiting time of maximum 10-15 minutes. This is my go-to for concerts/outings in Tilburg.

1. This was a nice surprise in the heart of Tilburg. Im surprised this establishment is not in other cities except Eindhoven. 2. The ambiance is very good. Neon lights and indoor plants. I liked it a lot. 3. The service is fast too. You order through your phone and surprisingly food also is delivered quickly. 4. The staff are very friendly and helpful. 5. Their menu is complete with plenty of options. They have nice drink options, very nice starters, some amazing ramen. 6. Everything we ate we really liked so there's a very high chance you will like like what you get too. 7. We ordered the rose lemonade, coco ramen, vegan ramen, and a few other things. 8. The price was on the higher side. They are more than any other ramen joint I've been to. Overall a very wholesome wholistic place. If you're around this town, I'd definitely recommend this place. Little pricey tho.

Food is super tasty. Everything we've tried we would order again. Staff is young and friendly. Service very efficient. It's bigger than we have imagined - great that they allow to reserve only 50% capacity in advance and the rest is available for the walk ins.

A nice restaurant and good food, but what a shame that when you enter you come across the first 100 signs and stickers that you can only pay by card here, which stops me from eating here because I would like to decide for myself whether I pay by cash or by card, that's what I think not really good service, but other than that the food is fine

An atmospheric place where you can eat tasty ramen. It is best to book a table before coming because the restaurant is often full later in the day. Desserts very good.

Ordered for the first time to eat at home with my 9 year old daughter. I was afraid it might be too spicy for her but she really liked it! My daughter had the noodles with shrimp and I had the noodle soup with chicken. Both were delicious. I especially liked the taste of the chicken! I like it a little more spicy, but I always have that in my cupboards to add! The delivery time was absolutely fine for a Saturday!

Great ramen. The black garlic is highly recommended. Side dishes cannot be served at the same time as the ramen. These are called starters, while the menu says 'sides'. Despite this, it is highly recommended and worth the detour for us. In response to the owner's response: Thank you for your response! I understand that it will be logistically difficult to meet everyone's request. However, I mention this in my review because I asked the staff the second time if everything could come at the same time and was simply told 'no'. If the business up front already knows this can't be done, I would change the name to entrees; they are not side dishes.

Tasty and affordable food, never disappoints. Too bad about the QR codes to place your order, it feels like a food factory. The pallet of goods next to our table did not enhance the atmosphere.
