Great food, amazing service .. something for everyone.

I came here for dinner last night with my boyfriend. Upon arrival, we were immediately greeted warmly and helped with the menu. Flavors we'd never experienced before, but it blew us away. We'll definitely be back!

I ordered a kapsalon with rice. At first, I thought they'd forgotten the meat, but I eventually found traces of it. For €12, it's a small kapsalon—they shouldn't have been so frugal with the meat. I also ordered a Syrian sandwich with cheese and ground meat—which was, thankfully, delicious. It was €8.50, but I should have ordered two of them instead of that kapsalon.

Next to us, they had a combination dish. A kind of tasting of different dishes. It looked fantastic too! It was our first visit and we'll definitely be back.

Very healthy and delicious foods, you can easily see that they were prepared with love. We had maklouba, lentil soup, falafels and hummus, they were all very tasty. The portions are also quite generous.

I've walked past this little restaurant on Dorpsstraat often, but I'd never eaten there until tonight. I picked up the BBQ platter, and it was delicious. The chicken and kebab were deliciously seasoned and super tender. The platter came with plenty of vegetables and rice. The ingredients were fresh, and you could taste the love they put into the dishes. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Highly recommended!

We were randomly in Zoetermeer and went here because of the high rating on google. Everything we ordered was SO fresh and delicious!! Wow!! Also, kind and attentive service.

We had dinner here today and were more than surprised. Great atmosphere, friendly, accommodating owners and staff, but also, and this is very important, great, tasty food. It was our first Syrian meal, but certainly not our last. Keep it up, and more guests will come. We will promote Syrian cuisine.

Zaytoona is an absolute delight. I ordered the Falafel Schotel, and honestly, it was the best falafel I have ever had. It was crispy, flavorful, and perfectly made. The Baklava with ice cream was just as impressive, rich and sweet but balanced by the creamy ice cream, making it a dessert I can definitely recommend. The place itself is cozy and welcoming, with a warm atmosphere that makes you want to linger. The prices are a bit higher than some other restaurants, but the quality of the food and the overall experience more than justify it. The staff were super friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful, which added to the charm of the evening. I also tried the Syrian mango drink, which was refreshing and unique. The small chunks of mango inside made it even better, giving it both texture and flavor. Zaytoona is more than just a restaurant. It is a place that leaves you with a lasting impression of great food, excellent service, and a cozy atmosphere. I can’t wait to return to have the Falafel Schotel again.......

Truly terrible service! We dined here with a group today and were treated terribly by the older woman (I suspect the owner). We felt uncomfortable and walked on eggshells throughout the meal, afraid she would make another nasty comment. At one point, I asked for honey for my tea. When she brought it, she threw it at me because I wasn't paying attention. Very disrespectful! We also paid a huge amount, but received absolutely no value for our money. The portions are very small for the price. There were 11 of us and we paid around €35 ​​per person. We received two platters with some appetizers, salad, and a small amount of rice. It was incredibly sad. This was both our first and last time!

I ordered catering from them for the first time yesterday. It was perfectly organized; we received excellent service and advice. And the food was delicious again! Absolutely delicious and authentic Syrian food! As a Halabi, I can say this place truly brought me back home. The flavors were spot on, rich, balanced, and comforting in a way that's hard to find outside of Syria. Every bite reminded me of my mother's cooking and the vibrant food culture of Aleppo. The atmosphere was cozy, and the hospitality made the experience even better. Highly recommended for anyone looking for real, heartwarming Syrian cuisine. Can't wait to come back!

The food, frankly, was not good. The rice was cold, the kibbeh with yogurt tasted strange and did not contain salt, and the fried kibbeh was wet. The food was expensive for nothing. We, two people, paid about 60 euros.

This was our very first introduction to Syrian cuisine and we are very happy that we were able to experience it here. From the moment we entered, we felt welcome. We came especially for the maklouba, but unfortunately it was gone. To our surprise and great appreciation, the lady from the restaurant prepared it especially for us. What service! And it was more than worth the wait. Delicious, full of flavor and prepared with care. Everything we tasted was fresh, richly spiced and clearly prepared with care. This is a place where you come not only to eat, but also to experience a bit of culture and cordiality. We will definitely come back here!

Good but not special. Expensive compared to the quality of the food. The lady inside treated me a bit dry and mistreated me. The food, as I said, is not bad, but for me personally, it was a one-time experience. I will not drive towards it again.

What's more important, we were waiting for you on a date. This time in bed was on the verge of writing. The heat in the restaurant was warm in the heat. We are more excited about this! We visited Zaytouna restaurant last week, and honestly, it was some of the best food I had tasted outside of Syria. The food is very good and really resembles home food, original flavors and clean. Also, the girl who works in the restaurant is extremely kind and respectful, she and her family are the owners of the restaurant. They are received with all love and the atmosphere of the restaurant is also warm and tidy. I seriously advise anyone who loves Syrian cuisine to try it

At Zaytoona I had a great experience! The food was absolutely delicious, with authentic Syrian flavors that made every bite a treat.
