Very good latte and bolus! Friendly and helpful staff!

We had coffee and a Zeeland bolus with pastry cream. The coffee wasn't anything special, but the bolus was delicious. We really enjoyed it, along with the wasps, but that's what happens in September. Even if I were a wasp, I'd join in 😅

This morning, neither the Kaiser rolls nor the croissants were fresh. I think they were yesterday's bread. It would be great if they mentioned that, so they could then decide for themselves whether to buy them or not. This baker is exploiting its monopoly.

The food was good, but the service was poor. There's a large outdoor terrace but no customer restroom. Payment isn't allowed at the counter; you have to go to the table—then you have to wait a very long time for someone to come by to pay.

The girl at the counter was very rude while serving me. First of all, she didn’t greet me at all — not even a simple “good evening.” From the very beginning, her attitude was negative. When I made my choice and politely asked for a specific bun, she roughly threw the one she was holding back onto the counter and, with clear irritation in her voice, said, “They’re all the same.” The whole interaction made me feel very uncomfortable. Thank you, but I don’t plan on coming back to a bakery with this kind of service.

If you're in Veere, this bakery is a great place to grab a bite! You can sit on the patio or grab a bite. The pizza roll is definitely recommended!

The pancake was nothing special. And do you really eat a cheese pancake with syrup? Salt would have been more appropriate; it was missing. Very expensive. The apple pie was delicious.

A short visit to Veere. Of course a Zeeuwse bolus filled with pastry cream. A successful combination at the local bakery. Beautiful products in the shop. Outside the atmosphere was a bit less, but that was due to the autumnal weather.

Went there today and ate a pancake with chocolate sauce and cream!! Simply delicious.....service great and totally friendly staff and "boss"....highly recommended.....

It's ridiculous that you say at 3 p.m. that no more reservations are being made. Plus an unsympathetic waitress. It clearly stated that they would close at 5 p.m

Like everything in Veere, this bakery is just overpriced. 1 x waffle, 1 x apple strudel, 1 latte macchiato, 1 x capuchino for EUR 29 is pretty steep. But the menu was out and we knew it. But the fact that at these prices the coffee (building foam) is only poor to mediocre and the whipped cream served is just spray cream is actually no longer acceptable. The service staff was friendly, the atmosphere on the market square was ok.

Cappuccino is €4.... Very expensive! It is even cheaper right on the beach. And it wasn't that tasty either. 🫤

Nice baker. But baked rolls are ok. Opens at 8am. The only food dealer in Veere.

The highlights: If you can sit outside when the weather is nice, it's beautiful. And the staff was friendly and quick. The dog was given a bowl of water without being asked. The food was ok. The ice cream ordered was more of an industrial production and rather carelessly prepared. The tomato soup was ok. but unfortunately nothing special. Conclusion: You can do it, but you don't have to.

Delicious food, and the help from the girl behind the counter was very good. All in all: Delicious food, super friendly and a great atmosphere!

We ate delicious pastry ice cream, but that was the only positive point. The lady behind the cash register had made a calculation error, it can happen. When I complained, the manager came to solve the problem 'quickly'. The treatment was downright rude; in the presence of other customers, statements were made such as 'fighting it out outside?' It's also bizarre that a children's ice cream goes from 1.50 to 2.50 as soon as it goes in a bowl instead of on a cone. Service and customer friendliness are far below par... Tip: pay attention to the price. We were not the only ones who left without a receipt (they did not want to give them) but with a calculation error in favor of the baker.

The pastries were dry, and I don't think the staff felt like eating them today. Duration.

Lecker Apfelkuchen. Aber Pappteller und Pappbecher? Ernsthaft???

Vandaag een lekker broodje gehaald. Vroeger gingen we altijd naar de echte bakker op het plein maar die is helaas gesloten. Deze bakker betreft een soort verkooppunt maar wel met eigen oven. Beperkt geopend op de dinsdag en het weekend. Je kunt hier pinnen. Let op: betaald parkeren op het plein en de handhaving is onverbiddelijk. Kwaliteit van deze bakker is goed maar niet uitzonderlijk.

Het grappige aan deze bakkerij is dat dit niet een echte winkel is. Het is min of meer een verkooppunt vanuit een garage. Jammer dat deze bakker zeer beperkt geopend is: vrijdag, zaterdag en dinsdag van 08.00 tot 14.00. Wel goede producten! 😃

Bakkerswinkel, verstopt in een garage. Vriendelijke prijzen. Doordat Veere geen supermarkt heeft, was deze bakker een uitkomst voor ons. Hij verkoopt ook melk, boter, kaas, beschuit, zoet broodbeleg en natuurlijk verse broodjes en gebak. Je moet wel geluk hebben want hij is maar 3 dagen/week open. Aardige man achter de toonbank.
