A truly quirky, "different" restaurant. Decorated with creativity down to the last detail. Beautiful outdoor area with a fire and a half burning. Found it by chance and stayed. Really nice, friendly staff, communication in English was easy. It was pincho night. A trip to the little things from soup to dessert, including drinks. We weren't particularly impressed by the food, but we had a lovely evening in a pleasant atmosphere. We hope the concept works.

What a wonderful place! You wouldn't expect it from the street, but it's a little paradise. Delicious food and a delightfully quirky decor. There's even a small play area inside for children. Absolutely recommended.

A really nice restaurant! We were able to sit down today without a reservation. The food was fantastic! Especially the main course, rib eye loaded fries. They also put so much time, attention, and energy into the restaurant's decor. A truly special place. Highly recommended!

Super cozy café with delicious brownies and cheesecake. They also serve light meals. Very friendly service (local, fluent in English). Indoor and outdoor seating. Cozy! With sheep and meadows as a backdrop, and reggae in the background. Highly recommended, for example, as a short bike ride from the campsite. A real gem—the building used to be a church.

What a unique setting to find yourself in. Wonderful atmosphere and relaxed service. We had a delicious lunch on the terrace. Certainly not what you'd expect if you were just driving by, but highly recommended.

Okay, you can probably eat quite well here, I won't judge that, so forget the one star. What wasn't right here is the fact that: 1- You make a reservation in advance, but when you arrive on time, you're not expected and just have to wait for a seat. Which might also be a sign, because 2- The staff, while very friendly, doesn't know what to expect. You have to search for the "specials" on a slate board yourself to know what's on offer. 3- An hour after you finally ordered, and still nothing on the table, you ask how your order is. Uh oh! Uh, look, these are our orders, and you're sitting here. So, another good half hour to wait. It's well past 8:15 PM... You're starving and finally managed to order a mediocre salad and a hamburger, which isn't particularly unusual, so what do you do? We went to Gorkum, 15 minutes away, barely found a terrace there where we had 10 minutes before the kitchen closed, ordered within 10 minutes, and 15 minutes later we were served. And it was good, too. I won't soon forget a day like that. No big deal, of course, but amateurism has no place in restaurants, even if you want to be alternative or organic. Try to be more organized, tell your (temporary?) staff how to behave, and you'll be fine.

Even though she was actually closed, she still offered a group a delicious lunch. If we happened to be passing by, we still enjoyed her relaxation.

Lovely place, friendly owners and delicious food in a nice atmosphere. Went home very satisfied. You are in the middle of the polder landscape of the Biesbosch with a beautiful cycling route in the floodplains without cars around you.

Cycling tour in the Biesbosch and a detour for a cake at the former church along the dike: Such a day. Delicious. A day later we went back to Such a Day, it was Sunday after all... the wind arrived a little late and the cake was already sold out. No problem and spontaneously selected a snack board for two. Kite. Every bite was so delicious. Really tasty. So if you are in the area... cycle or not... definitely visit🤩

What a nice, atmospheric restaurant such a day is! The garden/terrace is beautifully and pleasantly decorated with wild flowers, various herbs and several fireplaces. The food is also really delicious! And the best part? There are also biscuits for the dog on the menu. Highly recommended, this place!

This afternoon I happened to pass by this restaurant that I had read about before. What a nice atmosphere and warm welcome. It was no problem at all that we moved inside after first sitting in the garden for a while. Enjoy a drink with some small dishes. Very tasty. We will definitely go back to this special place.

What a nice hidden spot!😍 We arrived quite late and because it had been very busy, almost everything was gone. Almost, because the chef managed to put together a wonderfully delicious (vegan) plate with peanut soup, spring rolls, salad, etc. We took carrot cake with us for the road and received a nice surprise with it. Nice (and creative) people, they still exist! 💚

Pittoresk restaurant in the middle of nowhere with good biological food right from the farm. The food is simple but honest, tasty and well prepared. Friendly and helpful staff and wonderful decoration that makes you believe to be in a Lord of the Rings house in the Hobbit 😊👍 Loved it...

The food is tasty but not special... personally I think the price is high for the large portions. We came a few weeks ago on a Sunday at 3pm. Almost nothing available on the map anymore! While they are open until 7pm, you expect to be able to order something in the afternoon. We ordered bread with hummus and grilled vegetables... of which the grilled vegetables were no longer available... the waitress suggested that she would come up with something else nice instead of the vegetables, such as kimchi. In the end we will be served vegan cheese toasties? After reporting to the team, we still received some extra bread to dip in the olive oil and a leftover hummus with kimchi.. the service gets 4 stars for the effort taken, but the visit was otherwise a disappointment for us. In addition, there are only a few good seats that are obviously occupied first, the rest are very uncomfortable.

Fantastic place! Wonderfully secluded, beautiful garden/seating areas and beautiful views from the garden! We arrived a little late in the day and the employees did everything they could to put something delicious on the table! Super sweet and thoughtful people. Coffee was also delicious and the prices were incredibly good. And everything is vegan… 😍 What a gem this place!

Unfortunately we had to wait 35 minutes to even be able to order. Unfortunately, that's no fun at all and spoils your enjoyment of your stay. The food was quite good, the tables could be cleaner. We won't come back.

Zó'n(dag)geweldig,sfeervol alternatief &vegan tentje ! ..in een oud kerkje...landelijk gelegen..op een kwartier fietsen vanaf de pont v Dordt/ Kop van het Land. Een heerlijke tuin om in te zitten /ontspannen...heel relaxed sfeertje. Lekkere (lunch)kaart en vriendelijke bediening !

Wat een leuk restaurantje! Samen met mijn vriend deze plek bezocht.. nooit écht Vegan gegeten dus wisten niet wat we hier van moesten vinden. In 4 woorden " ECHT aan te raden! ". We vonden het super leuk om te proberen en het eten was heerlijk! Verwacht niet dat het het zelfde smaakt als je gewend bent want dan valt het tegen. Ga er met open mind op af en ze zullen je verrassen! Het personeel heel vriendelijk allemaal leuke spontane meiden! Gezellige kletsboel!!🥰 Wij komen zeker terug!!!

Dit is echt een heerlijke plek om even bij te komen. Lekker eten en heerlijke taart. Het ligt heerlijk afgelegen, lekker rustig. In de tuin is het heerlijk zitten. Ook binnen zit je mooi. Het is mooi en apart ingericht en bij het raam heb je een mooi uitzicht. Vriendelijke mensen.

Ik had een nare ervaring met vega kroketten elders. Maar hier zijn ze echt fantastisch en smaakvol. Heel erg bedankt voor deze heerlijke ervaring.

Peaceful location (close to the Biesbosch) with welcoming and nice people. Expect to be treated as a human by fellow humans. :) The concrete art is one of a kind. Perfect for a down to earth time, accompanied with a warm cup of coffee or tea.

Super leuke tuin met gezellige hoekjes om te zitten. Het eten is heerlijk en keurig verzorgd. Wendy neemt de moeite om de service uitstekend te maken. In ons geval fijne communicatie vooraf waardoor we speciaal vanuit Tilburg op en neer zijn gereden.

Verborgen pareltje. Prachtige plek met eigen karakter, fijne bediening en heerlijke koffie en tosti met kimchi. Ideale plek om te ontbijten na overnachting op natuurcamping de Knotwilg.

Wát een pareltje is dit zeg! Heerlijk eten en een ontzettend leuke plek om te ontspannen. We vonden het eerst heel jammer dat we, door een flinke regenbui, naar binnen moesten verplaatsen, maar het bleek daar ook erg fijn te zijn! We zijn daarnaast erg vriendelijk bediend. Ik zou zeggen: als je er langs rijdt, onderbreek je reis kort (of iets langer) om hier even langs te gaan!

We werden vriendelijk begroet bij aankomst, zelfs vanuit het keukenraam. Wat een leuk plekje, aan de rand van De Biesbosch. Heel leuk ingericht met 2dehands en zelfgemaakte objecten. Moestuinsalade, champignon kroketten en de homemade Iced Tea zijn goedgekeurd. We hebben heerlijk gegeten en genoten van wat de tuin te bieden heeft. Zeker de moeite!

Vandaag heerlijk geluncht met onze dochter die Vegan 🌱 is en ikzelf ben gluten intolerant. Aardige kok en bediening en sfeer heel relaxed. Komen nog gezellig een keertje terug!!!

Leuke sfeer en vooral een top locatie! Met heel lekker eten waarvan ik zelf als niet veganist van onder de indruk was! We komen zeker nog een keer langs!

Een plekje waar je als fietser kilometers voor wilt omrijden, en een ideale combinatie met natuurcamping Knotwilg even verderop. Heerlijk vrij sfeertje, groene tuin en vega eten in deze voormalige kerk en atelierwoning.

Hele leuke en verrassende plek. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk, het eten is lekker en alles is veganistisch. Je zit heerlijk in de tuin maar ook binnen in het gebouw is het erg sfeervol. Ze zijn alleen op vr, za en zondag open maar zeker de moeite waard om nog eens naar toe te fietsen. Aanrader!
