Never a seat available when we come, staff is unfriendly

We went here for lunch as a couple and ordered a pulled chicken bagel and a smoked ribeye bagel. Unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. According to the menu, the pulled chicken was supposed to be served warm, but both the chicken and the slice of cheddar were simply cold. When we pointed this out to the waiter, we were told that the sandwich isn't supposed to be warm, which was very confusing given the description on the menu. The smoked ribeye bagel was also disappointing. According to the menu, it was supposed to be served with olive oil, capers, sea salt, and lettuce, but these ingredients were completely missing. The meat looked like it had been placed directly onto the sandwich straight from the packaging, without any attention or finishing touches. For €19, you really expect much more quality and care. We had actually been excited by the good reviews and beautiful photos on Google, but our experience was completely different. In the end, we spent €33 on a lunch (2 sandwiches, green iced tea, and sparkling water) that was absolutely not worth the money. Extremely disappointed.

We ate there for two consecutive days. On Friday, we were served very kindly and had a very good meal. Today, with no one on the terrace, I made preparations to find a spot. I was immediately snapped at in a condescending manner. After confronting them about the fact that I had received bad reviews about the service from several people these days, I was told to leave immediately, and the atmosphere instantly turned grim. In general, it is often very unfriendly. It is a shame, because the food and the location are actually good. The customer is certainly not king here, and there is always a semi-prejudiced irritation hanging over some of the gentlemen on the serving staff.

The price-quality ratio could be better!

A beautiful location by the harbor, perfect for a stroll or a boat trip in season. The menu offers a wide selection of fish, meat, and vegetarian options. Reservations are required in advance. Friendly staff, who check in several times to check everything is still to your liking. Highly recommended :)

After a wonderful 22km ride through the Bieschbosch with a very pleasant group, it was time for another drink on the terrace with everyone, accompanied by a delicious bitter garnish. It was very pleasant sitting there. Since I still had quite a way to go back home, I decided to grab a bite to eat there too. Unfortunately, it was getting a bit chilly, so I moved inside. No problem, and they had a table for us. After a delicious plate of satay, I was ready to head home after a successful day.

Perfect place to 'get out of town' if you will. Came here at lunch after a long night of drinking and got started with a frozen Esma. Got the gears grinding (in w good way). After that a solid lunch with snacks: Calamari recommended. Got salmon for dinner. Perfect. Fatty fish, good flavours. Perfect getaway next to the Biesbosch. Solid 10/10, would recommend.

The staff comes to the table a bit too often to ask if anyone wants a drink! Otherwise, it's great!

We ordered fresh juice and croquettes and specifically asked when ordering if it was actually freshly squeezed and not from a carton or bottle. It turned out to be just juice from a carton (for €5 per drink). Unsociable. The croquettes weren't hot inside and tasteless. The mustard was probably from a previous customer who hadn't used it. There was a thick crust on the mustard from sitting out too long. When we pointed it out, the server said, "Yes, that's possible," but regarding the juice, he kept insisting it was freshly squeezed. Truly unbelievable. We again pointed out that fresh juice couldn't possibly taste like that. The server said, "I'm not going to argue with you about this." NEVER AGAIN DOCKS!!!!

Saturday we went kayaking here with 4 people. We have done this many times before with other rental companies. We have never had such a bad experience. First of all, the man was incredibly unfriendly. If you read the other reviews, several people share this opinion No lockers available Kayaks are not complete and dilapidated. No storage space inside the kayaks. Kayaks were made ready to get in while there was still a layer of water in them. The elastic at the front for luggage/bag was not present. When we mentioned the shortcomings, we were told that we had too much stuff with us. If you are on the road with 4 people + 5 hours on a hot day, food/drinks and an extra set of dry clothes is important to take with you. With a complete kayak this is not a problem. The nature reserve is beautiful. The boat rental was disappointing. We will not be coming back here. .

I like the new owner a bit less than the old one. You can't really hang out at the bar anymore, and they are closed quite a lot. The food was not really well prepared the one time I ate there. I suspect they also have a staff problem.

Nice place, at a marina. Young staff, some still lack some experience, but staff is friendly and diligent. The lunch, which we enjoyed there, was delicious and looked very well cared for.

The new owners have taken this business to a higher level with an eye for the customers. We found the atmosphere particularly pleasant. The staff was great. The menu is extensive and very tasty. Price-quality is right! The terrace has also become very beautiful.

Vriendelijk personeel, geweldige locatie, lekker en gevarieerd eten. We komen hier vrij regelmatig om bij te komen en te genieten van de sfeer. Munu kaart staat erg veel keus op en dan wordt het nog lastig om een keuze te maken uit zoveel verschillende lekkere biertjes🍺 die ze hebben niet te vergeten de cocktails 🍸het is altijd lastig te kiezen welke we nu weer zullen pakken. Dus wil je lekker eten en drinken in een mooie omgeving en zeer vriendelijk personeel moet je hier zeker naar toe gaan!

Wat een verrassing! Bediening (jonge dame met bril) die bedient zoals het hoort. Oprecht vriendelijk, geeft je tijd maar houd ook in de gaten wanneer je haar nodig hebt. Geeft de hond direct water. Ondertussen zie ik haar de menukaarten schoonmaken, wauw! Dat wordt helaas bijna nergens meer gedaan. Als iemand opslag verdient! Hopelijk waardeert haar baas haar ook! Voor ik het vergeet , het eten was ook lekker!

Great restaurant in a top location, lovely on the water in the summer (Hank Harbour). Watching boats (rental also possible), relax on the terrace or cozy inside. The service is always friendly and the food is price-quality, in a word, TOP! Various dishes, lots of choice but everything tasty and fresh. We come back here regularly, also with company.

zijn in het verleden paar keer langs geweest bij docks vissershang toen nog de oude zaak en klopt eten en drinken was toen stukken goedkoper maar petje af voor de nieuwe eigenaars hebben de tent omgetoverd tot een waar paradijs en begrijpelijk dat je dan meer betaalt lunch was top diverse kleine gerechten geproefd en goede wijnen omgeving top om te wandelen komen uit dordrecht maar zeker de moeite waard om heen te rijden en te genieten zowel in de winter als zomer

Because we were with a group we could only choose a limited menu. Prices above average. The food was not good. Fries looked like they had been thrown together and refried. The chicken satay was just 1 skewer with peanut sauce from a bucket. The hamburger was really dirty. All in all a bad experience that was also far too expensive.

Het gevoel van vakantie, een warm bad met lieve mensen en een mooie plaats om te genieten van (h)eerlijk eten. Dat is wat er in me opkomt als ik terugkijk naar ons bezoek. We komen hier met regelmaat en met veel plezier. De mooie kaart varieert gedurende het jaar. Gratis parkeergelegenheid in overvloed. Voor minder valide erg fijn om met de auto de heuvel op te rijden en na het afzetten van gasten die slecht te been zijn de auto op de parkeerplaats te parkeren. Reserveren is zeker verstandig om te doen. Een aanrader!

De nieuwe eigenaar heeft het een beetje hoog in de bol de prijzen zijn schrikbarend hoog een broodje hamburger 19.50€ we zijn niet allemaal miljonairs wij gingen daar altijd eten een lekker beenhammetje sparerips voor normale prijzen die Jan modaal ook kan betalen dit noemen wij Drimmelen prijzen en maar 4 dagen open in de week geen goede promotie voor de jachthaven ik kom er niet meer en zo zijn er velen met mij en mond tot mond gaat snel hij prijst zichzelf uit de markt
