30ml Alexandrium Coffee & Food in Prins Alexander

We ordered raspberry white chocolate iced matcha and latte. My friend found the coffee very light and delicious. The matcha was also very tasty; it was nice that it had extra honey and sugar in it :)

40 mins for a sad looking pancake, it came undercooked and not as fluffy as how american pancake shoud be. My daughter was cranky having to wait for so long and i was late for my next appointment. I definitely won't come back...... Updated* when paying the waitress offered that one of the drinks was paid on the house and she apologizes for the delay. I know these things happened sometimes, they did their best to overcome the situation. However, I still cant understand how can a restaurant failed making a pancake so badly.....

So, I ordered a Pancake Deluxe today. Ladies and gentlemen, that name does this pancake absolutely no justice. The proper name should be: Raw Pancake, Dry Throat Pancake, or simply Pancake I Don't Want Anymore, and the last pancake, never ever again. I walked in hungry, but after a few bites, my appetite vanished instantly. And no, that is not even an exaggeration. And the worst part is that the Pancake Deluxe costs €15.50; if you want to lose weight, you should eat here. Or if you want a quick bite, you have come to the right place, because after 1 or 2 bites, you won't want any more. The service from the ladies on the floor is good, and they have an eye for the customers—top-notch.

It looks nice. The service seemed friendly at first glance. The chicken and avocado sandwich was fine. The pancakes were a bit dry though, and I wouldn't order them again. What I thought was very nice: my son really wanted chocolate spread on his croissant, and we received a small bowl of chocolate spread with it at no extra cost. Next to the bar is a play kitchen that was also nicely used.

A fantastic place. The staff is very nice and polite and the food was delicious. The prices were definitely worth it. I would certainly come back if it stays this way. I really enjoyed my breakfast here.

Just had a quick cappuccino... otherwise it looks well-maintained... and is very beautiful inside, with a kind of homey atmosphere!

Good place for coffee or a tasty lunch. We asked to share a tuna melt. It was served on two plates with individual cutlery and separate sauce bowls. Excellent. The ginger tea is also very good.

I had pancakes and it came back very mushy and undercooked. I send it back and they gave me the same pancakes but just more cooked. Its as mushy as it was the first time. Definitely dont get the pancakes.

Lady serving was very rude, I asked a question about a coffee and got interrogated and shouted at. Anyway I enjoyed the coffee and cinnamon bun but staff are horrible.

When we arrived, we were welcomed after 5 to 10 minutes and asked if we wanted something to drink. We were still waiting for a friend, so we asked for a moment. After our friend arrived, we had to wait a long time. After we had to fetch our waitress, we could finally order. My friend and I went for the Tunamelt; it was a 6.5/10, it was okay. Not super special, you can just make it at home. We also had the salmon teriyaki. It was very tasty, but there was a bit too much salt on it, so it was a 7.5/10. It was nice to sit on the terrace. But if someone were to ask me if I wanted to go to 30 ml for a drink, I would suggest going somewhere else.

I visited 30ML this morning for a delicious breakfast in the sunshine. They have had the outdoor terrace back for a few weeks now, and it is wonderfully sheltered from the wind here ☀️ On the recommendation of the friendly staff, I tried the Cinnamon Roll Latte, which they started serving alongside the regular menu this week; whether iced or hot, this is a tasty sweet coffee ☕️ The Hangover Omelette and the Avo-licious remain among our favorites, and today was one of those again 🥑 Furthermore, they have a wide range of various matcha drinks; in the photo you can see the Matcha Ginger Orange, but they also have the standard Matcha Lattes with different flavors on the menu 😍

Ordered a “club sandwich” which was made with kip fillet instead of actual chicken like it said on the menu. We asked for the siracha mayo on the side because we were sharing the sandwich and my girlfriend doesn’t like mayo. They put regular mayo on it anyway. The sandwich looks like something you get from the fridge at Albert Heijn. The place was super cold too. Terrible experience, overpriced, low quality food. Definitely would not recommend.

Great service, everything is clearly marked. Best matcha in town, and they have a delicious acai bowl!

Update 21-02-2026 Following this review, an employee yelled at me and sent me away. When I went to get coffee today, I was confronted about my review, accused of "laughing at" an employee, and then sent away while several people listened in. This was literally about a hot drink that could easily have been exchanged. In their response to my review, they themselves indicated I could give it a second chance, but in practice, that wasn't the case. When I tried to order at the bar, a young woman immediately asked if I was the person who wrote the review. After I confirmed, I had to leave immediately in a very unpleasant manner. So it wasn't about laughing at employees, but about the fact that I had left a review. On 18-02-2026, around 2:30 PM, I ordered a rose matcha latte. I wasn't asked if I wanted it hot or cold, even though "iced" is emphasized at the entrance. I received a warm matcha. When I pointed this out, I was told that drinks are always warm. This wasn't mentioned anywhere, and no solution was offered, nor was the drink taken off the bill. My feedback was dismissed, and no initiative was taken to resolve the issue.

I recently came here for a matcha, but unfortunately, my experience wasn't pleasant. I ordered a cold matcha but was served a warm one. That can happen, of course, but when I told them I'd actually wanted a cold one, I wasn't treated kindly. The red-haired employee acted like it was my problem and said she wouldn't exchange it for a cold matcha. I found that very unprofessional and unfriendly to the customer. Furthermore, I was even sent away after my previous review. The woman behind the counter is also spreading lies by claiming I laughed at her colleague, which is completely untrue. It was simply a matcha that was served warm instead of cold. I think it's a shame that feedback and customers are treated this way. A little understanding and service could easily have resolved the situation. I'm going to address this, because that's not how you treat feedback and customers. Hopefully, this will be taken seriously and customer service will be improved.

The macha latte and the vegan cake were delicious. I appreciated that they were low in sugar, as we don't like very sweet products.

We ordered pancakes twice, but they were so hard, as if they had been reheated. They're not the cheapest pancakes, so you expect them to be soft and fresh. We'll definitely never be back for lunch.

I happened to be walking by and saw this lunchroom. Upon entering, no one spoke to me. I chose a table, and pretty quickly (before I even picked up the menu) a staff member came to ask what I wanted to drink. I told them I'd think about it. I saw a QR code on the table, so I tested it. While scrolling through the menu, the staff member asked again what I wanted to drink. I mentioned that I'd quickly scanned the menu and asked if I could order online. The staff member also explained how I could specify my preferences. I ordered avocado toast and homemade lemonade. The lemonade (lime/green apple) was delicious. The first time the avocado toast arrived, my request wasn't included. I mentioned this to the staff member, who immediately resolved the issue. The avocado toast looked nicely presented. The toast wasn't warm. The spread was a bit sour in my opinion. Otherwise, it was okay for a quick bite. The dishes are quite pricey considering what you get. I haven't read many positive things about the staff in retrospect. The employee who was on the floor on 11/9 was, in my opinion, customer-friendly and helpful.

Honestly one of the best places to get your lunch in the alexandrium. The food is great especially the Norwegian! Have to say it's not always the same quality I guess that depends on the chef but in my experience never bad. You do need to make sure you have time when you eat here as they are not very fast paced. Even when it's not that full. The prices aren't cheap but what is these days. Think the price is pretty good for the quality.

We wanted to have coffee and something to eat for four people. There were plenty of empty seats and tables with chairs still on them! When I put a chair on the floor, a waitress stormed over to lecture me, saying these tables had to remain empty because they were short-staffed? So, off to La Place then! They'll never see me again. How arrogant!

The Norwegian was wonderful. I really enjoyed it.

When you walk in, it looks quite cozy. No one greets you when you enter. I came there with my two young children. We ordered two pancakes and one coke to try out. The pancakes were really not good. Way too dry, too thick, basically disgusting. When you point this out before paying, they say: "Oh, that's annoying, but they're not going to take it off the bill." We even left everything else because it was simply inedible. I'll never go back. I'll also advise others against eating or drinking there.

We ordered a ham and cheese sandwich, but the ham was almost impossible to find, the cheese was awful, and the bread was rock hard, which was unbelievable! I think the quality has really declined! It's a shame we came here almost every week. And I think a €9 sandwich is really expensive, not even with a salad!

In my ham&cheese sandwich was no ham at all, basically it was just bread with melted cheese . Very sad for this price.

Dear 30ml Café Team, I hope this message finds you well. I would like to share my recent experience at your café, which unfortunately left me quite disappointed. I ordered a Colombia pour-over, but the coffee tasted very off and unpleasant—nothing like what I would expect from a quality brew. It made me question whether the coffee was prepared properly. Additionally, the cup I was given was noticeably dirty, which made the experience even more concerning. Because of these issues, I chose not to drink the coffee at all. I’m truly disappointed, as I was expecting better service and quality from your café. I hope you take this feedback constructively and look into the matter, so that future customers can have a better experience.

30ML: Expensive, bad service and disrespectful staff – I’m done with it Today I went to 30ML with my daughters, but it was another disappointment. We came for a nice lunch, but the attitude of the staff was downright rude. Last time I got an egg that was half raw and mushy. When I said something about it, I was not taken seriously at all. Instead I was told that I “always complain” – while that was the first time I dared to say anything at all. That was bad enough, but today it only got worse. I ordered a pancake and clearly asked: please not too much icing sugar. What did I get? Exactly the opposite. So I politely indicated it and got a new one – but this time without even a little bit of icing sugar. Then I asked politely twice if they could just put a little bit of icing sugar on it. Instead of normal service I got irritated looks and was treated as if I was too much trouble. It is truly outrageous how customers are treated here. As if you have no right to normal service - especially not if you dare to say something. And that while you pay quite a lot here. For me it is over: I will never come back here. 30ML may have a nice appearance, but the service is bad, the attitude of the staff is disrespectful, and complaints are not taken seriously. Not recommended.

Update: +1 star. Serves up a nice cappuccino. Stylish interior. They serve seasonal specials for food and drink. The selection of lunch dishes are usually very good. Service is alright, but can be much slower than is reasonable (keeping the crowd or lack thereof in mind).

I thought I would have a nice lunch with my mother, but we were already outside after 2 minutes. We had only been sitting for a few seconds and a waitress immediately came to the table to ask what I wanted. My mother was on the toilet so I said I'll wait for her. The waitress immediately came to our table and asked super arrogantly do you know. After this we immediately left and my mother spoke to her that if she would look and talk a little less arrogantly that people would stay for dinner. When we walked away and my mother spoke to her she said very arrogantly again 'uh okay yes sorry'. In any case, we will not come back here because of that cheerful girl.

Twice I got something to take away and both times the service was poor. There is often only 1 person who makes the coffees. You really have to be patient if you want to have coffee here. The place was not even 1/3 full and I had to wait 15 minutes for my coffee. In addition, I was also the only one for to go. Staff not friendly and you have to point out to them that your order is incomplete. Also very expensive for what you get.

I spontaneously walked in and asked for fresh lemon water. A friendly young man prepared it for me and didn't even let me pay. It was surprising and pleasant – you hardly see things like that nowadays.

Super tasty food, pancakes! Way too many but lots of blueberries. The cook was absent due to private circumstances, which was resolved well. The other chef provided us with delicious fluffy pancakes, and the service was attentive and despite the wait it was a great experience!

Waited over 20 min for a PLAIN BLACK COFFEE and when I went to pay and told them to cancel the coffee. The waiter looked at me and said oh I never put your order in ‘my bad’….. really??? Not even a sorry……? Come on guys……

The tastiest homemade tuna salad sandwich ever eaten.

Rude waitress, can't smile and communicates very uniquely. Says almost nothing back when you talk to her or ask her something. Very appward. This girl might be better off working in a tattoo parlor than in the catering industry with such an attitude, although that would also be quite unpleasant for the customers there. Toast with avocado is so hard that you can't cut it and taking a bite is almost impossible and the inside is very tough. Yogurt was okay but nothing special with thawed limp mango which doesn't make it much better.

I strongly advise against it for brunch, I would sooner say that it’s a big deal The very dry avocado bread, not even ripe. Takes no note for the order and dares to deceive

Tasty sandwiches and coffee. On the pricey side. can pay by debit or credit card.

Blueberry pancakes ordered were so raw that the batter ran out. Asked if I could get new ones or if they could prepare it a little longer. Had to wait 30 minutes for new ones and raw on the inside again. Fortunately, the friendly waitress understood and took it off the receipt. But I won't be eating here again anytime soon.

The food is tasty but severely overpriced. And what I really don't like is that the waitress is blowing her nose and then doesn't wash her hands, but the worst thing is that she has unhygienically long nails and touches everyone's plate.

It was delicious, we ordered the Norwegian. Coffee also delicious but on the expensive side. The orange juice was also way too expensive, 5 euros.

The coffee is fine, the pastries are good. Only 1 of each pastry is visible, so that the rest remains fresh in the refrigerator. Good to know, otherwise you would leave the business unnecessarily! ;) We work hard, the staff is friendly. We come there regularly and share our pastries for good reason. It tastes 'like more'! Unfortunately, the place still lacks some atmosphere and warmth. The chairs are positioned a bit too much 'like soldiers in battle array' and in my opinion they are not very comfortable. Creating corners, breaking through the open aisle, may provide more atmosphere.

30 euros for 2 sandwiches and 2 drinks. Ridiculous. Especially when it is thrown on a plate where the cheese is everywhere except on the sandwich itself. The girl who served us did her best, nothing wrong with her but below par when it comes to catering. Plus point = you don't have to speak English like every other catering business these days. Once and never again.

Maybe it's better not to come here half an hour before closing time. Ordered 2 drinks to go on Sunday, it took 12 minutes from the time of payment for them to be ready, despite the fact that there was only 1 person in front of us. There are three of them, but 2 are behind the bar cleaning up and ignoring customers, 1 employee is helping customers. Other customers who came in at 10 to 5 were told that they could no longer get coffee because the coffee machine had already been cleaned. I find this very strange for a coffee place and I don't feel welcome as a customer. Too bad, because I like the coffee.

Everything was fine, but the butterballs were soggy and tough. Said something about this and was told that they came out of the oven, nothing more.

A sharp object came out the coffee which was almost swallowed. When we went to the bar to show the sharp object and that it could have been very dangerous, the only responds we got from the lady who prepared our drinks , was: Oh sorry! Not the way to respond to a dangerous situation! Should say the other staff who took our order was also not really friendly. I understand why people are constantly writing negative about the personnel.

Normally nothing to complain about until today. The coffee was great as always, but the food... we ordered sweet potato fries and oyster mushroom bitterballen. The fries were moderately warm, limp and very greasy. The bitterballen were still frozen on the inside. Returned the 5 bitterballen plus half-eaten bitterbal because you assume it is just warm. A little later we get exactly the same balls back including the CHEWED OFF!!! I find this really ridiculous and unhygienic. If you as a tent cannot do this, remove it from your card. Definitely don't go there for coffee and cake, but I would skip the snacks...

Unfortunately today I tried to have lunch here during a busy 30Ml. I waited from 1:30 PM to 2 PM before the table of the previous guests was cleared. It has now been indicated 3 times whether the table can be cleared. Unfortunately, other tables are cleared, but my table is not? Nota Bene other guests arrive later and their orders are taken even earlier. I understand that it is really busy, but investing in staff and service does not seem like an unnecessary luxury to me. Didn't even bother to apologize. Apparently they didn't think it was necessary(!) Too bad, because the food and matcha were delicious!

Delicious chai latte and the homemade soft drink was great. Pancakes were very sweet, but wonderfully fluffy and excellent in terms of seasonal flavor.

The atmosphere is nice and the space is large enough to fit a great number of people without it feeling too crammed. The staff are nice. However, they (I hope not intentionally) did not pay the best of attention to the customers when I was there. The waiter who was supposed to serve the customers, kept eating cookies out of the cookie jar (meant for tea/coffee etc.) at the counter, out in the open, instead of paying attention. I have worked in a restaurant myself, and this is not done. Eventually, I had to sign him to get him over to take my order, which eventually was given to me incorrectly (even though it was just a drink - how is that even possible). Anyway, hopefully this is not always the case, because I’d like to come back here more often. They have a good looking menu with a lot of variety: sweets, cakes, breakfast options, pancakes, (grilled cheese) sandwiches with a vegan option, spreads on sourdough bread, and lots of good options for (warm) drinks! So still definitely worth a visit, I’d say 👍🏽 I’m sure I can positively update my review after coming here a second time to try out the rest of the menu!

Kom hier regelmatig voor een kopje koffie en te studeren of een hapje lunch met vrienden of familie. Moet eerlijk zeggen dat dit een van de weinige plekken is waar ik altijd tevreden wegloop. Eten is voor mij altijd snel en lekker geweest, veel opties aan koffie wat ik altijd leuk vind en daarnaast altijd nog een aparte kaart met speciale nieuwe dingen die bij het seizoen passen. Naast de heerlijke koffie en lunch is de sfeer die het interieur en personeel creëren enorm fijn! Word altijd snel en lief geholpen en vind 30ML een mooi en prettig restaurant. 10/10, zeker een aanrader !!!
