A family party with 40 people at ‘Aan de plas’, a beautiful location and lovely weather to boot. It was fantastic, certainly thanks to the delicious apple pie, the generously filled sandwiches, colorful smoothies, and special Tiramisu. The attentive and pleasant service made our party complete.

Still a great location to add to our list; we went for coffee at first and then with about 10 people. Next time for a larger group ... 👍

This is a scam.Do not recommended. I Just ordered a “Berry Bomb” smoothie, which was advertised as containing acai, forest fruits, and banana but in reality they mix aple juice from AH with frozen bosvruchten without banana and not acai, I think they just put to attract people. And this is scam cost 8 euros. For €8, I honestly expected much better quality and something that actually matched the description. This was one of the worst smoothies I’ve ever had. If acai and banana are advertised as ingredients, they should actually be in the smoothie, not just used to attract customers.

Amazing place to spend day at this place. Lots of people were doing barbecue there. It is like family fun day spot.

We went for drinks. The menu explicitly states: lightly fried squid; ‘exactly how we like it ourselves’. The squid was of good quality but really cooked way too long. Not tasty. When we mentioned it, in response to the question of whether we had enjoyed it, we received a sort of reprimand that ‘we always cook it on a timer’—in other words: it’s your fault. We should have reported it sooner! The latter is true. What I miss most is understanding. Attention is requested for their situation, but no attention is given. If you then leave a review, see below, you are treated just like we were on the terrace; defensively and not very kindly. What a shame, what a shame, what a shame.

We really enjoyed spending an entire afternoon there. We had lunch first (nachos and Caesar salad, both delicious) and then rented sun loungers and a parasol to relax on the beach. The service was very friendly. We wish we had a place like this near us!

You guys have really gone downhill. Ordered a melt tuna sandwich. A slice of cheese and a level teaspoon of tuna. There was barely anything on it. And probably warmed up in the microwave because the bread was soggy. And that for 12 euros. Then a glass of wine with it that only took two sips. Sorry, you won't see us again. What a shame.

Pancakes, don't do it! 8 euros for such a small pancake from a pack of 20 from the supermarket. Kids' lemonade: €4 for juice with a straw. Friendly scammers. Disrespectful to their guests. One of my worst hospitality experiences.

I go there at least once a week for lunch; the callamari there are so delicious, everything is tasty. It is lovely sitting at a table with a great view.

The only place where you can get food and drinks, so the pressure is high, but despite that, they are doing a fantastic job. The service is good, even though you sometimes notice it is too busy to keep up. Keep it going.

Super friendly staff and nice laidback relax by the beach

We were served by a very friendly young man, but still a minor. The nachos were easily the worst I've ever had. They emptied the generic bag of nachos and left us with half a plate of them. The nachos were completely pulverized and inedible unless you smear sauce all over your fingers. Obviously, they didn't have any meat. Half the plate went in the trash. Bitterballen is more bitter than a whale.

Super relaxed atmosphere, delicious food and affordable, you can also swim in the lake. Great.

This is a great place for a catered drinks reception with approximately 30 people! Due to a thunderstorm at the beginning, we started indoors, but afterwards we were able to move outside. The children had a great time playing and football. The snacks and drinks were excellently catered for; we look back on a wonderful party!

Read the reviews carefully. The positive ones mainly focus on the location. The negative ones remarkably often focus on the same thing: the people who work there. Unfriendly, unmotivated, and an attitude where customers seem to be viewed as a nuisance rather than guests. A beautiful location can compensate for a lot, but there is no lack of decent service and normal manners. It feels as if this establishment can afford to do this because the location already does the work for them. In the hospitality industry, hospitality should be central. According to many reviews, that is nowhere to be found here.

We had rented a section of the pavilion for a family reunion. There were 50 of us, and the weather was beautiful, so they had also screened off part of the terrace. It really was a top-notch location! Very pleasant service. I was even given the key to pick up someone with mobility issues by car and take them all the way to the terrace. That was very nice.

I ate here with my wife this week. I ordered a Cesarean salad, and I wouldn't recommend it. The lettuce on it was rotten. The cucumber was limp and very slimy. The chicken smelled like it was weeks old, so after four bites, I stopped eating! The staff was completely unconcerned with the guests, and no one approached us or even tasted our food! I told the young woman serving what was wrong with the Cesarean salad, and she simply said, "Sorry, I don't know." No compensation or free coffee on the house. Otherwise, it's a nice beach bar! It's a shame about the food. The staff are completely unmotivated, only on the phone, and have no regard for the guests. I did report this to the hospitality inspectorate, who will investigate further. I'm still very ill, and the doctor says it's food poisoning.

I called to see if they could make a carpaccio sandwich for my partner, as it wasn't on the menu. When we arrived, they lovingly assembled it right away, and I had a delicious salmon sandwich. Truly excellent service! Friendly staff, good communication, and very reasonably priced! It's incredibly rare to receive this kind of service these days.

We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary here. It's a fantastic location, wonderful people, and also easily accessible. Highly recommended.

What a delicious, generously filled large focaccia (grilled bread in two large pieces) we had! With truly delicious ☕. Check the website for opening hours! Dinner will be served again soon on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 😘. The only negative I mentioned was how to eat a hot chicken focaccia? You have to cut through the paper on the board with a knife and fork. It has string on the end and isn't dishwasher safe...? Eating with your hands makes the chicken splatter... So I prefer a plate 😀. I had reserved a table inside.

I recently celebrated my 55th birthday at Aan De Plas, and it was fantastic! The care provided by the staff at Aan De Poel was absolutely outstanding! During the preparations and discussions, everything was very flexible and they were very helpful. On the day itself, everything was perfectly organized, the staff were helpful and very friendly. We were also able to use the pétanque court, and I was allowed to hang my own decorations. All of this made my birthday a fantastic party! Thanks for that! The surrounding area is also beautiful and inviting, perfect for a stroll and/or a swim. There's a large (currently free) parking lot, which is a huge advantage near Amsterdam.

Unfortunately... the kids already wanted to... We've gotten fries several times, and every time they're open, but they don't sell fries to the kids... "closed for wealth," as we say. We'd love to have the food truck back, and we're not the only ones... Then today, on the hottest day of the year, everything is closed to everyone because of a festival... A big thank you from all the neighborhood kids... 🥲 Well, there's nothing the lake can do about that, except a big blowout for the kids on one of the hottest days of the year... They could still get in yesterday... why not today... well 🤷‍♀️

We wanted to eat on the terrace, but unfortunately it turned out differently. A table had been reserved and we were not allowed to sit there, so we waited for more than half an hour – waiting to see if those guests would come or not. They never came. Others - without a reservation who had just arrived - were given the table by another waitress. In the end we were placed somewhere in a corner, without explanation or apology. On top of that, we were also served the wrong dishes. No apology, nothing. One person was eating while the other was still waiting, and then the other way around. Very messy, and the staff didn't seem to care. Too bad, because the place has potential, but the service and coordination were really below par.

I was invited to a luau at night. Special program for guests. However, I've been there during the day with children. In all situations, I was treated with courtesy and care. However, there is a delay in service. The scenery is beautiful and the weather is very pleasant.

What a nice place! We celebrated my mother's birthday with the family. There is a varied menu; something for everyone. From delicious coffee with cinnamon cake to a burger. Everyone is happy😃 The staff is friendly and patient with young and old. And very attentive. We will gladly come back.

Vanmiddag even met de hond wandelen bij de plas, dan is het fijn om een drankje te halen. Een kartonnen bekertje, driekwart gevuld met warme chocomel en een blikje cola zero. Dit kostte 8,20 euro… Dit gaat toch nergens meer over? Er waren niet eens toiletten beschikbaar!

Twee kroketten met brood besteld. Kroketten waren prima echter het brood was licht geroosterd. De reden hiervoor was duidelijk omdat het niet dagvers brood was. Na de vraag of ik vers brood kon krijgen kreeg ik hetzelfde soort brood maar dan niet geroosterd. Het brood was droog en niet dagvers. Voor €10,50 verwacht ik in ieder geval vers brood. Jammer! Hoe moeilijk is dat?

We ordered a salmonsalad en that was the worst salad ever. The chef should be ashamed to deliver such a salad for EUR 20,-

A beautiful location in itself, but the food was not great. Barely any dressing on the Caesar salad and made large chunks of bread from leftover bread. There is nothing wrong with that in itself, but then edit it a bit (bake the sprig of rosemary and garlic clove in the olive oil), but this came out of the oven very dry. With an extra topping of shrimp and two beers, I spent over thirty €. Service was super nice.

I ordered a curry with crispy chicken. This was very tasty in terms of taste, but the curry itself was very thin... and unfortunately it had coriander on it, which I think tastes like soap. I could have said this myself beforehand, but I didn't think of it. So a tip for the people of the I-hate-coriander club :) Furthermore, it's nice to be on the beach. I missed cushions on the picnic benches.

Borrelglaasje, €17,50 Nog niet zo treurig meegemaakt. -6 blokjes zweterige kaas ws. ALDI of dergelijke kwaliteitsklasse. -Bakje chips ong.15 chipjes. -iets wat op tapanade moest lijken, zo zout dat het oneetbaar was. -4 soepstengels oid. voorverpakt inferieure kwaliteit. -5 plakjes worst, geen idee wat voor soort maar niet goed. - 2 stukjes ham goede kwaliteit maar helaas ongeveer maar 20 gram. -5 papadums gevuld met roomkaas, potje Aldi. Verder stond op de kaart dat er echt Amsterdamse zuur geserveerd bij zou worden. Helaas niet, om gevraagd komen ze met een schaaltje met 5 plakjes lauwe slappe augurkschijfjes ja idd van de Aldi oid. zekers geen zuur Amsterdams zuur. Echt zo slecht dit!!!

Nice regular cafè in a very nice location.

We have a very bad memory of this. After we ordered three beers and 2 fristi for the children, the children quickly wanted to go back to the beach after the fristi. They were playing together on the beach and my son had taken a can of drink from the bag. His mistake was to put it on the table while playing, because then the manager/owner (I think) came and took away the three-quarters full can while we were still having our beers to throw away. My wife offered to put the can with our things, but he preferred to throw it away. At first we thought he was joking so we were too surprised to say anything at the time. Another comment came that she could just go away. Please note that the children were no longer on the terrace at all. My son had only put the can down for a while to continue playing. My son was quite upset about it, it really left us with a bad taste. We actually wanted to eat, but we went home.

Overall rating 3. Service and atmosphere good. I ate a few things there and for example the salad is good. Fries unpalatable, hard to eat. Price 6,50e but they are underdone. In my case a stomach ache guaranteed.

You have to know how to find it, but absolutely worth it, cozy atmosphere and delicious food. Recommended!

We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary at Aan de Plas last week. It was a big success. The organization and service were absolutely excellent and the location was very attractive.

What a welcome, we came with a group of `16 ladies. Had telephone contact in advance, nice good communication, and what a pleasant experience. Thanks for the good care.

Top location if it is dry and you have good mobility. Caring service and a nice atmosphere. P is a bit of a walk.

23 sept met 10 volw + 3 kids gegeten en geborreld. Prima geregeld, goed eten en snelle service. Aanrader als je informeel wilt borrelen en eten. Ideale plek voor kinderen zeker als t mooi weer is.
