Alberto's in Nijkerk-stad

We were served by a very friendly lady on the terrace last Tuesday. Excellent, extensive menu, and we ate delicious pastas. My daughter hadn't been feeling very well all day, but we will definitely be back for that dessert ;) We had a lovely time sitting outside on the terrace.

Cozy place, I've had lunch here twice now. Tasty sandwiches!

Shocked by the price-quality ratio. Michelin prices for a simple pasta. That is really completely out of proportion. The atmosphere and surroundings are nice and cozy.

Had a delicious meal and friendly service. The restaurant is dog-friendly and offers good value for money. Tip: After dinner, take some time to take a walk in the beautiful city center.

We had a tasty meal, although the portions were very small; they really could be a bit bigger. Otherwise, no complaints.

It was unclear from the website whether you could pick up pizzas. But you can! They are very tasty, but a bit on the pricey side. What stood out was that the center of the pizza was well-topped, with very little at the edges. Parking in the Jumbo parking garage works perfectly. Definitely worth it.

This restaurant visit wasn't planned. We had a lovely spot on the terrace where we could sit comfortably. The dogs each got a bowl of water right away. There were three of us, and we had a 🍕 Margherita, a spaghetti truffata, and a cheese-filled pasta topped with a creamy cheese sauce with arugula, cherry tomatoes, and a hint of lime. (It was so delicious that we almost forgot to take a picture. It was almost gone😋) We all enjoyed it immensely!

Unfortunately, a bad review. The service wasn't very friendly. When we asked what we wanted to drink, there was no menu; they only partially described what was available. The portions of pasta and pizza were far too small for the exorbitant prices. We ended up eating somewhere else because we left Alberto's hungry. Never again, and I wouldn't recommend it. Thanks for ruining my birthday...

It's a shame that the takeaway menu is limited to pizza and pasta; it would be really nice to be able to order the other dishes for takeaway as well.

After the prices at CENTERPARK, a pleasant surprise.

Ideally located in the center of Nijkerk. Easily accessible from the parking garage. Upon arrival, the terrace was reasonably full. Despite our reservation, it took a while before the tables were ready. Serving the drinks and food took quite a long time. I suspect that due to unexpected busyness on a weekday, there was insufficient staffing to handle the volume. It happens. Although the starter was fine (a platter with various types of Italian appetizers), the main course was of lower quality. I had the various seafood platters. It had been deep-fried for so long that there was only a thick crispy layer left and a rubbery filling that was almost impossible to get through. Again, my assumption was that it was busier than they had expected. Nevertheless, I won't be eating here again anytime soon.

I have been visiting Alberto’s occasionally for years. Good food, nice terrace, but oh oh oh, the service is a disaster. It is truly the same story every time: - it takes a long time to order (usually you have to approach a member of staff yourself because they walk right past you without making eye contact) - they don't ask if you want another drink later (missed opportunity) - paying means walking inside, otherwise you can wait a long time If the above were improved, I would absolutely come more often. As it is, I prefer to sit on the terrace at Lust.

We came without reservation, waiter told us if we are done in 1,5 hours no problem. With two kids we knew, that wouldn’t be a problem. Kids food arrived after an hour, we decided to take the pizza home after it was still not served after 1,5 hours. Horrible experience, very nice ambience but with this service not a lot of stars from me.

Nice restaurant, very tasty food, and polite service. Everything was well organized. Atmospheric location. We had a shared menu with various choices. Nicely presented, beautiful fresh ingredients, and well prepared. Top-notch! Highly recommended. Plenty of wine selection to accompany the meal.

We received a limited King's Day menu with incomplete information about the dishes. If I had known what I was going to get, I would never have eaten here. I have clear dietary requirements and tried to communicate them three times, but I couldn't get the staff to understand. It really felt like I was talking to a brick wall. In the end, I paid top price and received something that was completely unsatisfactory and of which I could only eat a tiny bit. If you have dietary requirements that are very important to you, especially if they involve low fat, cream, dairy, and/or cheese, stay away from here.

Had a delicious meal, mouthwatering lasagna, tasty cocktails. Beautiful interior and very friendly staff. The toilets are clean, lovely hand soap and towels + point! A small suggestion: there was no bread with the lasagna. Feel free to ask for an extra €2 for this delicious lasagna and add 2 slices of bread, and then it would be perfect!

A lovely terrace, enjoying a white wine in the sun (or, if you prefer, under a parasol). It's early March, and the sun is shining: the view over the square with the "Eierhal" (makes you thinking), and the delicious salads (with the white wine) made for a wonderful and pleasant afternoon.

The restaurant has a beautiful interior. We had to wait a very long time for every order we wanted to place (food and drinks). I understand that, but not when the restaurant is half empty. Then you simply don't do a good job as a waiter. We ordered focaccia, among other things. That was wrong, and they just brought tear-and-tell bread. Then it took five minutes before we could tell someone. When our actual order arrived, the tear-and-tell bread came with some melted cheese and pesto in it. That's not focaccia. I also don't think it's appropriate to have to top the bruschetta yourself; it should be served beautifully with, for example, a nice dressing. The bolognese sauce was literally tomato sauce with ground meat. Anyone can make it that way. Not suitable for an Italian restaurant. It also took so long for the empty plates and glasses to be cleared that we left. Unfortunately, no dessert.

My wife and I celebrated Valentine's Day here. A beautifully balanced 5-course menu with matching wines. Delicious flavor combinations and surprising dishes. A cozy atmosphere. Excellent service: attentive, friendly, and well-timed. And we were also very satisfied with the price-quality ratio. So, a well-spent evening. Definitely worth repeating. Looking at the overall experience, we're quite critical, but in this case, the 5 stars are more than deserved.

Nice location, excellent service

We enjoyed a fantastic team outing, had a lovely meal with my girls, and we really enjoyed the service. The pasta and pizza were delicious, as were the desserts. We kept plenty of drinks stocked, so our evening was a success.

We were a bit surprised that the serving of a beer and a 7up didn't go quite right—both drinks unfortunately landed in my table companion's crotch. That was, of course, a very unfortunate moment and immediately dampened the atmosphere of the evening. Ultimately, we therefore decided to go home. We understand that mistakes can happen, especially when it's busy. Hopefully, this can be addressed more in the future, because otherwise, it seems like a place with potential for a pleasant evening out.

Lovely, atmospheric restaurant. Lovely waitresses. My 6-year-old asks if she can eat with her hands. The waitress says, "Well, not really. But if you do, nothing will happen. No one will get angry." I'd love to come back for a bite to eat.

Made a reservation to dine with a group. The reservation was confirmed, but the restaurant turned out to be closed. So, you'd come there for nothing.

I ate here on Christmas Eve with a group of friends. Personally, I'm not a big fan of Italian cuisine, but I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious dishes here. I'll have to revise my opinion. The restaurant is nicely decorated, the staff is very helpful, they have delicious Spaghetti Burgunder on the menu at a reasonable price, and the dishes are beautifully presented. The parking garage underneath the restaurant is very convenient. A good place to visit.

We arrived, welcomed warmly, and the interior was nice. But then things started to get bad. We had to wait a long time before anyone even came to answer our door. Our meal took over half an hour, and they didn't ask us if we wanted another drink. Empty glasses weren't taken away after we went to the bar ourselves for more. The food was okay, otherwise nothing exciting. When we wanted to order coffee afterward, we had to go back to the bar ourselves, and this was the result of the "hot" chocolate milk (see photo). After we mentioned this, the waitress slammed the glass down on the table and put it in a smaller one. The staff seemed mostly focused on themselves and each other behind the bar. No more Alberto's for us after today.

I spontaneously decided to take myself out for dinner. This restaurant had been on my wish list for a long time, perfect for a gluten-free meal. When I called, I learned they were unfortunately out of place, but I could still order something. I ordered the gluten-free pasta with nduja and Iberian stew. It turned out I hadn't received it in my hotel room, which I had initially driven over half an hour to. Hence the considerably higher price: €26 for 1/3 of a container of pasta with truffle sauce and dark, slimy arugula. See photo. The pasta was also far too cooked, perhaps due to the long drive. When I arrived, I asked if there really wasn't a table for one available. There certainly was, and a gentleman went to try and arrange one. A woman saw me standing there and asked if I'd been helped yet. "Yes, your colleague is trying to find me a table so I can eat in peace instead of in a parking garage or cold in my hotel room." Unfortunately, the gentleman returned with a package, and I wasn't allowed to sit down. I was shocked by the bill, and the fact that I also received the wrong meal made my disappointment complete. It just made me a bit sad. The taste was good, the portion was bizarrely small, and the price was outrageously high. With the ambiance, it's definitely worth it. But in a container? No way. It looked cozy inside, though.

A highly recommended restaurant! Beautiful atmosphere, great service, and truly one of the most delicious pizzas we've had in a long time! We had the Pizza Silvio—it tasted amazing—a great experience, 5 well-deserved stars :) The wine was also very tasty!

At first glance, it was a lovely restaurant, super beautiful, nicely decorated. It had a nice atmosphere. We thought we'd have a nice meal at Alberto's, and we were delighted. Once at the table, we were given the wine list (I'm not a wine lover), then they brought the menu, so I thought it listed the beers and other drinks, but no, they didn't have any other drinks on the menu, which was a disappointment. So, with high hopes, I ordered more food, which was excellent. The appetizer was on the table, I was enjoying my meal, and the last bite in my mouth, my plate was snatched from under my nose. Well, if you want me gone, you can just say so. So we moved on to the main course, and guess what, I'm still eating, and off I go again. Well, that doesn't exactly make you happy, and they're practically running around the restaurant with the plates like they're running a marathon, even though it wasn't all that busy tonight. But it's perfectly fine if you don't want me in the restaurant, just tell them when you make your reservation... Then we'll just be there. Oh yeah, another waiter helped me with the bill, nice guy you could do something with that

Some of the staff members have extensive wine knowledge, making the wine tasting highly recommended. You'll also receive a brief explanation of the wines, making it both enjoyable and educational. It's the ideal spot for a cozy evening with friends: enjoying delicious Italian dishes and finishing with drinks. The best time to go is on a summer afternoon, dining in the evening sun on the inviting terrace. This creates a unique atmosphere where you can easily spend hours. The extensive menu offers something for everyone, even those on a budget. Alberto's combines ambiance, quality, and hospitality in a way that makes it one of the best restaurants in Nijkerk.

Ordered Pizza Margherita. Looked really good. But the bottom was too crusty and hard for me, it hurt my teeth. The toppings dropped of the slices too easily. The knife did not cut the pizza well. Had to use my hands to cut the pizza. Lastly the plates slide on the table like butter. Too slippery and frustrating to try and cut the pizza. Atmosphete and Service were great though.

A very friendly welcome. The staff were very friendly and the service was fantastic.

They told me there was a mistake in the kitchen or a dish they'd forgotten. The missing dish didn't arrive for another 15 to 20 minutes. Everyone else had almost finished their food by then. Service wasn't very fast either. I ordered dessert to finish off nicely. I paid €12 for it and got a few biscuits with a few crumbs and a scoop of ice cream. I was quite disappointed today.

We had a truly delicious meal with very friendly staff. We had a fantastic evening!

It's a pretty good Italian restaurant. But something isn't necessarily more luxurious or delicious just because it has a shaved truffle on it. I find the price-quality ratio a bit too high for some dishes. The restaurant's atmosphere is quite nice and tidy, but the layout before the renovation was more inviting. You can clearly see that they had to fit as many tables as possible into the square footage. The restroom was the most annoying thing. The tiled walls there were just as dirty as they were a year ago, and I dare say they'd never even seen a wipe. So, they don't check it. The door to it was also closed. Of course, that's not possible.

A quick city walk and a quick break for a cappuccino and a slice of apple pie. We were served quickly. The waitress was very friendly, and the coffee and pastries were delicious. The sweet treats that accompanied the coffee were also delicious. Definitely worth a visit.

Had a delicious pizza at Alberto's. Never had such a delicious pizza. Generously topped with real pancetta and wild mushrooms, and truffles were grated over the pizza at the table. A truly amazing experience!

Beautiful, large terrace. The food was delicious, and the pasta at Alberto's is highly recommended! A bit pricey, but really good. The house white wine was also very tasty. We were disappointed with the service. Everything took ages. The menus were missing pages, and bringing a bottle of wine easily took half an hour. We had to constantly try to get their attention to order something or receive a menu. There were no napkins with the cutlery. And that just makes it not worth the price.

Good food, reasonable prices, and a nice location. However, the service wasn't up to par. It was too slow, and it was difficult to get the staff's attention. 10-15 minutes after ordering our dessert, we were informed without apology that it was over and we could choose what we wanted to eat next. 😠 🐌 😩

The pizza was sparsely topped. I had asked for double parma, it seems like the topping was only done once. I did pay for it. 🍕🤔🤨 The pizza dough was boring. And the lasagna is also basic. In short, simple and normal. But I expected more. 🍝😔😕

Heard mixed stories. But sat on the terrace on Wednesday evening. Also had a delicious meal with good, smooth service. The only downside was that there were no more prawns. This was neatly mentioned and we ate a delicious alternative dish. In short, had a great evening!

Had a lovely lunch, had a nice Italian sandwich and fresh orange juice. Service was ok but not overly friendly.

After a positive experience a few years ago, we now reserved a table for 2. Upon arrival, no reception at the door. Ultimately, we were spoken to unfriendly. We could choose from various uninviting tables for 2 between noisy 8-person tables in the middle and 4-person tables by the window. This uninviting table arrangement was supposedly new since the renovation. When we asked if something else was possible, no attempt was made to reach a compromise. We left this restaurant, never to return.

We were told we cannot order dinner because nothing is cooked till 18.00 But before someone even brought us drinks, it was already 30min waiting. Frites came almost 40 mi s after drinks. When we finished our snack, it was almost 20.00 Waiting time in almost empty restaurant is one big misunderstanding.

It just wasn't special, had to wait a very long time for our orders to be taken. Very young staff. Starting to feel a bit squeezed. Too bad.

Sat outside on the terrace, service took the order, 3 minutes passed and still received nothing. We saw other guests who had arrived later than us and received their lunch. When asked, a short answer was given that it would arrive shortly, the food tasted good but not special and not worth it in terms of price. Service not friendly, no overview customer is king is hard to find here in my opinion. No excuse regarding waiting and it wasn't even that busy on the terrace. Toilet at the back of the store was quite dark, poor lighting, the toilet was also not clean to sit on.

Not much is left of the nice, atmospheric tent that it was before the renovation. The atmosphere is gone. Cold and sterile and very messy. The food itself was sufficient! But certainly not in relation to the prices. Plenty of service, but no attention for the customer. And it's not because of the crowds, because it was very quiet. With the change from the total concept of the past to the so-called "fancy concept" now, a lot has really been lost. Unfortunately, this won't happen again, which is a real shame!

Upon arrival there appeared to be no room, but an employee indicated that we could eat at the bar. While she was walking to the bar, she was approached by another employee and then suddenly it was no longer possible.

What a great tent this is! A really big 5 stars for the service. Friendly, customer-oriented, fast. The bisque beforehand is delicious and the pasta with shrimp and mascarpone sauce is also so tasty. Cozy seating, tasty wines, yes they have it right at Alberto's. We will definitely come back!

It was the second time I ate here. The food was top and tasty; On the other hand, the service was not what I had hoped for. Young staff with little experience, so you don't get the service I think you should expect. Especially for what you ultimately pay. We came back because I really liked it the first time (1.5 years ago) here. Tonight was a disappointment. The music was also very loud.

The food came after an hour of waiting and we had to ask where it was. No excuse. While we had opted for the timer control. The ravioli was mediocre. Within 4 bites it was gone. About 7 pieces of ravioli. The pizza was good. One person's spicy chicken pizza was not spicy. It was only spicy in three places. Service barely looked at you.

The food was simply fantastic, they did deliver one of us the wrong main, however they handled it swiftly and politely. This was the fourth time I've eaten here and I will drive the two hour trip again to do that a fifth time FOR SURE.

Nice menu, a bit pricey here and there, but the quality of the food was good. Unfortunately we had to wait more than 1 hour for dinner, even though there were a maximum of 20 guests. Guys in the service are more concerned with each other than the guests. The youngest can do the work. The fristi was 2 months out of date. Not good. The bill was thrown on the table and then not paid at the table. I had to find that out for myself. Too bad because the quality of the food is not the issue.

Enjoyed a delicious wine arrangement at Alberto's on Friday, December 13. The wines and snacks were really delicious. But what certainly contributed to the experience was the super enthusiastic hostess who spoke passionately about the wines with us. The food was very good. I had the 4 course surprise menu and they were all special and beautiful dishes. Certainly not everyday. The service was also fine, they made a few mistakes when serving the drinks.
