Moeke Nijkerk in Appel, Driedorp, Kruishaar, Prinsenkamp en Slichtenhorst

Perhaps this is a somewhat outdated Moeke? It's incredibly warm inside, and the service is friendly. I've had better satay.

Nice location and delicious food. Good service and a beautiful, large terrace. It is quite pricey, though, and the tables inside are too close together. P.S. Jul 2025 We were here with our Bible study group to close out the season with coffee and snacks. So far, it's been fun and enjoyable. When one of the ladies went home, she hadn't noticed the step down from the raised table where we were sitting. The floor is brown, and the warning stripe is also not clearly visible. She twisted her ankle and fell. The waitress was immediately there to help, bringing a wet cloth and some wad. But she said, "Oh, this happens regularly!" To which we replied, shouldn't it be better marked? According to her, management didn't do anything about it because it doesn't need to be inspected... but if it happens regularly that someone falls or missteps, it seems to me that something needs to be done quickly!

Great food, friendly service and beautiful terrace!

Cozy, friendly restaurant. Nice decor. Outdoor seating is available in good weather. The food is good quality. No long waits. Service is quick and cheerful. We eat there with the whole family at least once a year to celebrate our mother's birthday. But it never stays just once a year.

Lots of noise on Friday nights. Often fireworks late.

Last Saturday we had a party at Moeke's. The communication beforehand and their helpful brainstorming were excellent, and so much was possible. The day itself was wonderful and well-organized. We rented the Jachtzaal (Hunting Hall), which is ideal for small parties. We had 44 guests, and with its private terrace, it was a fantastic space. The staff were very helpful. The guests never had to wait long for drinks. They walked unobtrusively and attentively to everyone in the room and outside. We opted for the BBQ package, and it was very well organized. The chef was very accommodating to all the special dietary requirements (think gluten-free, vegetarian, etc.). These were carefully considered and implemented, and everything was discussed with us. We also used the hotel next door, and because of the venue, you get a discount on the hotel room if you stay overnight as a guest. We had a wonderful and positive experience, and I would definitely recommend this venue for a party or similar event.

We recently ate here, and overall, it was a lovely visit. The ambiance is truly wonderful—stylishly decorated, pleasantly quiet, and ideal for relaxing. The service was very friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely fine for the price. The burgers were nicely presented, but unfortunately a bit dry. The selection on the menu is rather limited overall, but there's a special small menu for kids, which we loved. All in all, a lovely place for a relaxed restaurant visit, even with family. We would go back, but hope the burgers are a bit juicier next time.

We had a great meal tonight and were helped by a friendly waiter. Unfortunately, something went wrong when we paid: a more expensive bottle of rosé had been tapped instead of the house wine we had ordered. The difference was €6. When we asked, we were told that we had drunk the wine ourselves, which is true — but when I ask for a house wine, I expect to get it and I don't check the bottle. The fact that this mistake was made by the staff should not be at our expense. Despite consultation with two employees, there was literally no response and we ended up paying the amount ourselves to avoid any hassle. In short: a pleasant evening with a messy and disappointing ending. We won't be back.

We have never experienced this before. We came in and it was empty. The staff was busy with everything except the guests. We sat at the table for 30 minutes and no one asked anything. No drinks, food, nothing. So we left.

Had a delicious satay, it was really great, friendly service, the only difference is that you have to pay at the bar and there is uncertainty about what you have consumed. Nice and clean place so highly recommended, just look at your table number before paying 😉

Delicious dinner with 7 people. Service was excellent despite the crowds. It took a while before we received the card, but after that everything went well. Plenty of food and deliciously prepared. We had made a reservation and we had a great spot for our group! Definitely worth repeating. Ria

Gevarieerde menu kaaryen: borrelkaart, lunch en diner. Eten is van hoge kwaliteit. Personeel is uiterst attent en beleefd. Fijn dat er oom koffie varianten zijn om je bakkie eens mooi aan te kleden. Biefstuk zo groot als een ossehaas en medium rare perfect klaargemaakt.

Voor een gezellige lunch weer eens bij Moeke Nijkerk op bezoek. Eerst een bakje koffie en bier en daarna de goulash soep, spicey chicken en een twaalfuurtje - bestaande uit : tomatensoep, kroket en uitsmijter. Alles heerlijk op smaak bereid. Nog een lekker drankje erbij en een Irish coffee. Gevolgd door creme brulee en chocolade soes, smullen. Graag komen we weer eens terug voor meer lekkers!

Slept 2 nights at the Roode Schuur and ate 2 times at Moeke's (dinner). Both times we had delicious food and drinks (thanks very much for the beer glass). Portions are good and sufficient. Very friendly staff. All in all highly recommended.

We hebben ons verjaardagsfeest bij Moeke in Nijkerk gevierd in het thema van de jaren '90, en wat een fantastische keuze was dat! Vanaf het eerste contact verliep alles soepel en prettig. We konden vooraf alles goed bespreken en doornemen, en op de dag zelf mochten we eerder in de ruimte om deze naar wens te versieren. Het personeel was supervriendelijk en stond de hele avond klaar om alles perfect te laten verlopen. We hebben een geweldig feest gehad en veel complimenten ontvangen over de locatie, de snelle service en het brede aanbod aan drankjes – zelfs meer keuze dan gemiddeld! De hapjes waren ook uitstekend verzorgd. De locatie zelf is ook top! Er is voldoende parkeergelegenheid voor zowel auto’s als fietsen, en voor wie wil, is er zelfs de mogelijkheid om te overnachten. Dat maakt het extra handig voor gasten die van verder komen. Na afloop hielp het team zelfs mee met het opruimen van de versieringen, wat de topservice alleen maar onderstreepte. Alles bij elkaar een perfecte ervaring. We kijken met veel plezier terug op een geweldig feest bij Moeke en kunnen deze locatie zeker aanraden! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We celebrated our birthday party at Moeke in Nijkerk with the theme of the 90s, and what a fantastic choice that was! From the first contact everything went smoothly and pleasantly. We were able to discuss and go through everything thoroughly in advance, and on the day itself we were allowed into the room earlier to decorate it as desired. The staff was super friendly and was there all evening to ensure everything went perfectly. We had a great party and received many compliments about the location, the fast service and the wide range of drinks - even more choice than average! The snacks were also excellent. The location itself is also great! There is ample parking for both cars and bicycles, and for those who want, there is even the option to stay overnight. That makes it extra convenient for guests who come from further away. Afterwards, the team even helped clean up the decorations, which only underlined the top service. All in all a perfect experience. We look back with great pleasure on a great party at Moeke and can definitely recommend this location! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Cozy restaurant with an excellent menu and ditto dishes. Friendly employees and excellent parking. You have to like the hustle and bustle and the buzz and noise that comes with it.

Chicken burger was a bit of a shame. Bun, lettuce leaf and a chicken schnitzel on top. I can also make it myself.

Kleine porties, vooral spare-ribs. De frites waren slap. Bediening was wel uitstekend. Er was (vrijdagavond) een muziekquiz waardoor het nogal luid was.

Wij waren er op zaterdagavond (gereserveerd) en het was afgeladen vol. Wat een lawaai! Daarom ook wel wat lang wachten voor de start en tussen de gangen. Maar het eten was echt goed. De verse tonijn als voorgerecht en de spareribs waren heerlijk en het waren grote porties (voor ons te groot). De uiensoep vooraf was prima. De flammkuchen werd behoorlijk gedomineerd door de kaas die erop zat. Lekkere aparte kaas (en goed knapperig deeg), maar niet helemaal in overeenstemming met wat je bij een flammkuchen verwacht. Neem vooraf het broodje met "smeersels". Lekker en het maakt het wachten op het voorgerecht aangenamer. De fles prosecco van Martini paste goed bij alle gerechten, maar als prosecco hebben we nogal eens wat lekkerders gedronken. Hij was ietwat zoetig en had minder prik dan vaak het geval is, en prik vinden wij belangrijk. Redelijke prijs.

Yesterday I had dinner with 11 people at Moeke Nijkerk with my birthday mother. Unfortunately this will be our first and last visit. We had made a reservation for 11 people and I indicated that the 11th reservation was for a two-year-old child and I asked for a high chair to be placed at the table. Upon entering we were very surprised that there was not even a table ready and two tables had to be quickly pushed together. There was also a high chair missing that was finally brought after a long wait, so we did not have the impression that we were welcome. . We then sat here for 4 hours for a 3-course menu. It took a very long time before the order was taken and even longer before all courses were served. When the main course was served, it turned out that there were 2 wrong dishes and the 2 rib eyes ordered were not to your liking because it was indicated that they should both be medium rare, but they were served well done. This was indicated at the service where they were asked if they should let it cook further, so a very strange response because the problem was that they were TOO far. The port sauce and satay sauce were also far too thick and far too salty. A lot of missed opportunities for Moeke because for a bill of €600.00 there is a lot of competition and we will sit elsewhere next time.

Went to Moeke Nijkerk's for dinner a few times in recent months. That's why we called on January 5 to make a reservation for 20 people. Everything was agreed. Today, January 17, I was told that they do not make reservations for 20 people. No effort was made to offer an alternative. We will never eat there again!!!

Nice restaurant. Delicious food, but the service... I have no words for it. Helped quickly at the beginning, but it took more than an hour before we could order the main course. Wasn't busy at all. We were not given any cutlery with our food. It took a very long time before we could get the attention of the staff. She didn't understand anything when it came to paying.... we understand that good staff is difficult to find, but this was really bizarrely bad. It was just laughable. It's a shame because I always enjoy eating at other establishments.

Onwijs vriendelijk en meedenkend personeel en een menukaart waar voor ieder wat wils op staat. Zowel qua type lunch als prijs. We hebben alle 3 iets anders gekozen en aangezien ik niet van zachte eieren (gepocheerd of spiegel) houdt, maakte de kok voor mij een gebakken ei. Top! Flammkuchen beviel ook goed en de curry loaded Fries ook. Top veel vega keuzes en de kletskop koffie is een grote aanrader. De sfeer hier is ook goed.

Great food, but it costs your neck. The elevation in the dining area is a hazard, there is no marking or the like. on, making it barely visible. Seeing several people stumble and fall by a hair. The food and atmosphere are very good! It is highly recommended, but watch where you walk.

After a long wait, we had to ask for the menu. Waited an hour and a half for the main course. The fries did not come at the same time for everyone. Only meat and fries were served, no vegetables in sight. Other guests who came in later were also helped earlier than us. also very bad. We don't come anymore, everything irritates me too much. Het eten was lekker, maar het personeel was nogal kortaf. Storend was dat ze telkens over de tafel heen en voor ons langs de menukaarten aanreikten, de gerechten neerzetten en de lege borden afhaalden. Om een uur of negen begon er tot onze ergernis een luidruchtige muziekbingo, waarover we bij de reservering niet op de hoogte waren gebracht en waar we niet op zaten te wachten. Helaas hadden we het dessert al besteld, anders hadden we dat niet gedaan en waren we direkt vertrokken.

Voor een gezellig familie etentje hebben we hier heerlijk gegeten, inclusief de kinderen. We hadden 4 volwassenen en 2 kinder menu's. Spare ribs, hamburger, zeebaars en saté. En de kinderen hadden ook zeebaars en hamburger - groot hoor. Wat hebben we zitten smikkelen, kortom we hebben genoten. Ik kreeg ook amper tijd om even een foto van het eten te maken, vandaar.

De bediening was uitermate chagrijnig en belerend. Totaal niet capabel om met een grote groep mensen om te gaan. Het was een mooie dag zodat we buiten konden zitten. We hebben 1 drankje gedronken en verder is er niemand geweest voor een volgende ronde. Alles ging met een zucht! De kok was de enige die vrolijk was. Verder geen klachten over het eten. Helaas gaf het personeel een onaangename sfeer! Voor ons geen twee keer om er met een grote groep daar iets te vieren! Voor ik deze slechte recensie plaats heb ik uiteraard eerst een e-mail gestuurd met onze ondervindingen, maar tot nu toe geen enkele reactie gehad. Dan maar op deze manier, helaas!

Het eten was slecht. Hamburger was niet gaar en vies prutje. Biefstuk had ik medium besteld maar bleek voor gedeelte nog rare. Ik was er al aan begonnen want stukje was medium helaas. Niet te kauwen zelfs het stukje dat rare was. Opmerking gemaakt maar kreeg gewoon de rekening. Gaan we dus nooit meer heen.

We went here because of the good reviews and nothing was too much to say, the food was delicious! The young girls were clearly still a bit inexperienced, so an hour later the table where people had eaten still had dirty dishes. It was very nice that our dogs were allowed on the terrace, but unfortunately the entire terrace was for smokers, never nice when you are enjoying your food and someone is smoking next to you. The menu was also extensive, very limited for people with a gluten allergy, but the food was good.

We moesten drie kwartier wachten op het voorgerecht en daarna nog een uur op het hoofdgerecht, waarvan de helft koud geworden was. In mijn beleving klopt er iets niet in de organisatie en de communicatie. Het personeel is al vanaf binnenkomst niet vriendelijk en heeft geen gevoel voor humor. Ik heb er begrip voor dat 'het even duurt, omdat het terras vol zit', maar wij hadden gereserveerd en hadden meer verwacht.

Mooie plek tegenover hotel de Roode Schuur . Reserveren is helaas niet mogelijk . Het terras ziet er prima uit . De ober was zeer onvriendelijk ( menukaart weghalen terwijl je nog zit te kijken , weliswaar om het te vervangen voor een andere , maar voelde toch een beetje onvriendelijk) , Het eten was kwalitatief in orde . Maar tijdens het eten wordt er geen enkele keer aandacht aan de klant besteed ( ook de fles rose , toch bijna 25 euro, wordt ongeopend neergezet ) . Niemand die komt vragen of we nog een dessert willen . Kortom wat gastvrijheid betreft een dikke onvoldoende . Eten is in orde, maar totale eindoordeel is het eten is aan de prijs en het levert niks extra’s. We zullen er niet meer teruggaan .

Dit familierestaurant ligt iets buiten Nijkerk er is geschikt voor ontbijt, luch en diner of gewoon om iets te drinken. Ook voor een partijtje kan er een gedeelte worden gehuurd. Zowel toeristen of lokale bewoners komen er. Mede door het grote en sfeervolle terras is het in de zomer prima toeven. De kaart is uitgebreid. Het personeel is niet altijd even goed op elkaar afgestemd. Verschillende informatie, soms duurt het heel lang voor er iemand komt en soms komt er 2 maal iemand. Kortom een beetje chaos. Wel zeer vriendelijk. De gerechten zijn qua kwaliteit voldoende tot goed, maar gezien de prijzen hadden we beter verwacht. Net als de wijn. Kortom een prijzige kaart en dat kan ons inziens wel anders. Maar het zal de locatie zijn. Verder viel het ons op dat verschillende gerechten van de kaart er niet meer waren. Mogelijk onverwachte drukte.

In our opinion, the drinks menu has too little choice, bread/snacks or nachos. A nice addition would be nuts, wraps or bruschetta. Once again the terrace is only open for a small part, so as a parent you cannot sit at the very outdated and unsafe playground with your child, which would be nice. There is a dangerous, steep staircase leading down from the terrace near the playground, with only a chain lock hanging on it. Not child-proof here while they describe themselves that way, a shame! * A playground where there is no handle on the seesaw to hold on to, car tires that are almost falling apart due to misery & swings that hang too high even for an average adult do not seem to me to fall under the heading of "safe" for children..
