Nice atmosphere, very friendly service, but we had to ask for beers three times. The food was fine, but it was all lukewarm for us, which is a shame.

I thought, I'd do something crazy. Just pop in for a hot chocolate and lunch. ++ Location ++ Moeke is located next to a hotel. There are plenty of parking spaces, and upon entering the restaurant, you get a warm and cozy feeling. Nothing wrong with that, and it definitely invites you to have a bite to eat. ++ Ambience ++ The music sometimes became irritatingly loud. ++ Lunch at Moeke ++ Let me start by saying that the hot chocolate was very good. Creamy, no aftertaste, and above all, the perfect temperature. Kudos. The menu listed a club sandwich, with chicken, tomato, egg salad, etc., but there was no tomato and a few bits of "chicken" skin. Well, chicken, I don't know if the chef ever tastes what he's making. This is ham! Smoked chicken is definitely not pink. Anyway, the sandnixes went back, and the chef actually found a few tomato slices, and the food was topped with a bit more, which is to be expected for that price. Only the ham, well...sorry. ++ Service ++ Friendly, attentive, and polite, pleasant to work with. -- Conclusion -- Anyone can make a mistake, but not serving what's on the menu correctly is a no-go. Ham, dear chef, really does have a different taste than chicken. Next time I'll stick to the hot chocolate.

We've been coming to Moeke's house like children, and certainly not because it's a 5-minute bike ride from our house, although that makes it so easy to decide after a hard day, hey, let's book in. But it's always fun to see what Chef has come up with for the seasonal menu (for example, right now you absolutely have to try the autumn spritz, the smoked duck breast, and the portobello mushroom 😙👌🏼) and to be looked after by the super sweet team, who not only have the perfect balance of attention and liveliness, but also get along so well with each other that it creates a very warm family feeling. The uninhibited humor in the atmosphere is always infectious. See you again soon! 🥰

Excellent staff and restaurant. Last night, November 23rd, we had a wonderful dinner in a cozy atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff. The menu is well-varied, with meat, fish, salads, and vegetarian options. The Shepherd's Pie was delicious, the spareribs wonderful (they could have cooked a bit longer), and Moeke's Grote Schnitzel was divine. Then we decided to try the Moeke-soes (cream puff) and a coffee with caramel syrup. It's clear that we left feeling full and satisfied! Highly recommended!

We had a lovely lunch here. The food is good, the prices are a bit high, but the dishes look good and taste great. It's also quite packed on a Sunday afternoon. I'm less impressed with the service. Slow and not very helpful. For me, the worst part was when one of the staff members, after taking our order, asked if we wanted fries or a baguette with our poke bowl. Unbelievable.

Went there for the first time with a group of 13 people. Initially, we were seated near an open door where it was drafty, but the door couldn't be closed due to a barbecue going on. Last Saturday, we had a 50th wedding anniversary party at Moeke Nijkerk for 57 adults and 5 children. Initially, we chose the Jachthut room, but because we arrived with more people than we initially anticipated, it turned out to be too small. Moeke acted quickly and arranged the larger room for the same price. Communication was excellent, and all requests were accommodated. We had a delicious lunch there; I had the chef's sandwich. Delicious with salmon, which is always a good choice for me.

My soup was literally in a crystal whiskey glass. It contained three small mushrooms and a few "strings" of chicken. The soup was okay, but a bit overly spiced with a single red pepper ring. For €7.50, I really expected more and better. My friend's vegetarian tagliatelle wasn't good. It's never happened that neither of us wanted something. There was half a lemon wedge in it, but the sauce was the worst. A bit mango-like? Not many vegetables either. I mentioned it and got a €5 discount, but it was still €40 lighter. I ordered bread afterward because my friend was still hungry, which was fine. I don't expect a culinary highlight, but this was just a waste. The atmosphere was good and the surroundings are beautiful. It did take a while. We had eaten well there before (hence the two stars), but we were only moderately enthusiastic about this last day. Such a shame!

Hi Last Saturday and Sunday we had dinner at your place in Nijkerk twice. We were staying at De Roode Schuur, and a restaurant next door in a hotel without a hot kitchen was very convenient. Saturday evening was great, but Sunday was a disappointment with the mussels in a whitish (garlic?) sauce. A large kettle was placed on the table (what a promise!), but only halfway full of small mussels. I was most disappointed, however, with the insufficient cooking time of the mussels, which meant quite a few didn't open. So, whoever prepared those mussels at your place honestly doesn't know much about them. It's a shame about the €24.90 charge, as that money was wasted. For the rest, I can only really appreciate your friendly staff. How they keep a full restaurant running so smoothly. 👍 Kind regards, Victor

Yesterday I went here for dinner with my father, sister, and grandmother. The absolute worst dining experience for me personally. The waitress was an elderly woman. I've never heard such strange remarks while eating out. My sparerib looked half-cooked and simply wasn't done. After complaining, the waitress started complaining about the curry that was for the man across the street. My sister, that is. When I confronted her about it, she said she was a girl. She dismissed it with, "It's so hard to see these days." No apology or anything. After receiving a schnitzel, they just said, "It better be good now, otherwise you're out of luck." This establishment needs to teach its staff some manners. The saddest dining experience ever. A truly awful waste of money. Go somewhere where they treat you well. To avoid further hassle, they didn't call a manager or even the owner. I paid promptly and left a small tip out of politeness. Please don't go here.

The seating on the terrace was comfortable, both at the front and back. It wasn't perfect, though; the part of the terrace where we were seated had a "nasty sewer smell." It wasn't pleasant, but after we reported the smell, the staff promised to do something about it. Hopefully, they did. Otherwise, it was fine. The coffee was good, and the sandwiches were delicious.

Jul 2025 We were here with our Bible study group to close out the season with coffee and snacks. So far, it's been fun and enjoyable. When one of the ladies went home, she hadn't noticed the step down from the raised table where we were sitting. The floor is brown, and the warning stripe is also not clearly visible. She twisted her ankle and fell. The waitress was immediately there to help, bringing a wet cloth and some wad. But she said, "Oh, this happens regularly!" To which we replied, shouldn't it be better marked? According to her, management didn't do anything about it because it doesn't need to be inspected... but if it happens regularly that someone falls or missteps, it seems to me that something needs to be done quickly!

Cozy, friendly restaurant. Nice decor. Outdoor seating is available in good weather. The food is good quality. No long waits. Service is quick and cheerful. We eat there with the whole family at least once a year to celebrate our mother's birthday. But it never stays just once a year.

Afgelopen zaterdag een feestje gevierd bij Moeke. De contacten vooraf en het meedenken over dingen was al heel fijn en er was een boel mogelijk. De dag zelf was heel fijn en goed geregeld. We hadden de Jachtzaal gehuurd, die ideaal is voor kleine partijen we hadden 44 gasten en met het prive terras was dit een superfijne ruimte. Personeel wat beschikbaar was, was erg behulpzaam. De gasten hebben geen moment gehad dat ze lang moesten wachten op drankjes. Ze liepen onopvallend en met aandacht voor iedereen in de zaal/buiten. We hadden gekozen voor het BBQ arrangement en dit was heel goed geregeld. De chef dacht super mee met alle bijzonderheden die er qua eten waren. (denk aan gluten, vega etc .) Hier werd goed en fijn over nagedacht en uitgevoerd. En alles in overleg. Wij hebben ook gebruik gemaakt van het naastgelegen hotel en ivm je feestlocatie krijg je een korting op de hotelkamer als je als gast van het feestje blijft overnachten. Wij hebben een hele fijne en goede ervaring gehad en ik zou deze locatie zeker aanraden voor een feestje o.i.d.

Last Saturday we had a party at Moeke's. The communication beforehand and their helpful brainstorming were excellent, and so much was possible. The day itself was wonderful and well-organized. We rented the Jachtzaal (Hunting Hall), which is ideal for small parties. We had 44 guests, and with its private terrace, it was a fantastic space. The staff were very helpful. The guests never had to wait long for drinks. They walked unobtrusively and attentively to everyone in the room and outside. We opted for the BBQ package, and it was very well organized. The chef was very accommodating to all the special dietary requirements (think gluten-free, vegetarian, etc.). These were carefully considered and implemented, and everything was discussed with us. We also used the hotel next door, and because of the venue, you get a discount on the hotel room if you stay overnight as a guest. We had a wonderful and positive experience, and I would definitely recommend this venue for a party or similar event.

We recently ate here, and overall, it was a lovely visit. The ambiance is truly wonderful—stylishly decorated, pleasantly quiet, and ideal for relaxing. The service was very friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely fine for the price. The burgers were nicely presented, but unfortunately a bit dry. The selection on the menu is rather limited overall, but there's a special small menu for kids, which we loved. All in all, a lovely place for a relaxed restaurant visit, even with family. We would go back, but hope the burgers are a bit juicier next time.

We had a great meal tonight and were helped by a friendly waiter. Unfortunately, something went wrong when we paid: a more expensive bottle of rosé had been tapped instead of the house wine we had ordered. The difference was €6. When we asked, we were told that we had drunk the wine ourselves, which is true — but when I ask for a house wine, I expect to get it and I don't check the bottle. The fact that this mistake was made by the staff should not be at our expense. Despite consultation with two employees, there was literally no response and we ended up paying the amount ourselves to avoid any hassle. In short: a pleasant evening with a messy and disappointing ending. We won't be back.

We have never experienced this before. We came in and it was empty. The staff was busy with everything except the guests. We sat at the table for 30 minutes and no one asked anything. No drinks, food, nothing. So we left.

Flammkuchen was limp and not cooked to my taste, the fresh orange juice was not really fresh, it felt like it came from a carton. Sorry, I can't give it more than two stars for the food. In terms of friendliness and atmosphere, it was very pleasant.

Beautifully decorated restaurant with a nice menu and very good service. Quality of the dishes was really very good and the ribeye and schnitzel were exactly as we expected. Service was honest because when ordering the starter we were told that what we wanted to order would be way too much, I like that. We had a very nice meal and everything was right, I was also very satisfied with the price quality ratio, very good. I can recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Gevarieerde menu kaaryen: borrelkaart, lunch en diner. Eten is van hoge kwaliteit. Personeel is uiterst attent en beleefd. Fijn dat er oom koffie varianten zijn om je bakkie eens mooi aan te kleden. Biefstuk zo groot als een ossehaas en medium rare perfect klaargemaakt.

Voor een gezellige lunch weer eens bij Moeke Nijkerk op bezoek. Eerst een bakje koffie en bier en daarna de goulash soep, spicey chicken en een twaalfuurtje - bestaande uit : tomatensoep, kroket en uitsmijter. Alles heerlijk op smaak bereid. Nog een lekker drankje erbij en een Irish coffee. Gevolgd door creme brulee en chocolade soes, smullen. Graag komen we weer eens terug voor meer lekkers!

Slept 2 nights at the Roode Schuur and ate 2 times at Moeke's (dinner). Both times we had delicious food and drinks (thanks very much for the beer glass). Portions are good and sufficient. Very friendly staff. All in all highly recommended.

We hebben ons verjaardagsfeest bij Moeke in Nijkerk gevierd in het thema van de jaren '90, en wat een fantastische keuze was dat! Vanaf het eerste contact verliep alles soepel en prettig. We konden vooraf alles goed bespreken en doornemen, en op de dag zelf mochten we eerder in de ruimte om deze naar wens te versieren. Het personeel was supervriendelijk en stond de hele avond klaar om alles perfect te laten verlopen. We hebben een geweldig feest gehad en veel complimenten ontvangen over de locatie, de snelle service en het brede aanbod aan drankjes – zelfs meer keuze dan gemiddeld! De hapjes waren ook uitstekend verzorgd. De locatie zelf is ook top! Er is voldoende parkeergelegenheid voor zowel auto’s als fietsen, en voor wie wil, is er zelfs de mogelijkheid om te overnachten. Dat maakt het extra handig voor gasten die van verder komen. Na afloop hielp het team zelfs mee met het opruimen van de versieringen, wat de topservice alleen maar onderstreepte. Alles bij elkaar een perfecte ervaring. We kijken met veel plezier terug op een geweldig feest bij Moeke en kunnen deze locatie zeker aanraden! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We celebrated our birthday party at Moeke in Nijkerk with the theme of the 90s, and what a fantastic choice that was! From the first contact everything went smoothly and pleasantly. We were able to discuss and go through everything thoroughly in advance, and on the day itself we were allowed into the room earlier to decorate it as desired. The staff was super friendly and was there all evening to ensure everything went perfectly. We had a great party and received many compliments about the location, the fast service and the wide range of drinks - even more choice than average! The snacks were also excellent. The location itself is also great! There is ample parking for both cars and bicycles, and for those who want, there is even the option to stay overnight. That makes it extra convenient for guests who come from further away. Afterwards, the team even helped clean up the decorations, which only underlined the top service. All in all a perfect experience. We look back with great pleasure on a great party at Moeke and can definitely recommend this location! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Cozy restaurant with an excellent menu and ditto dishes. Friendly employees and excellent parking. You have to like the hustle and bustle and the buzz and noise that comes with it.

Chicken burger was a bit of a shame. Bun, lettuce leaf and a chicken schnitzel on top. I can also make it myself.

Kleine porties, vooral spare-ribs. De frites waren slap. Bediening was wel uitstekend. Er was (vrijdagavond) een muziekquiz waardoor het nogal luid was.

Wij waren er op zaterdagavond (gereserveerd) en het was afgeladen vol. Wat een lawaai! Daarom ook wel wat lang wachten voor de start en tussen de gangen. Maar het eten was echt goed. De verse tonijn als voorgerecht en de spareribs waren heerlijk en het waren grote porties (voor ons te groot). De uiensoep vooraf was prima. De flammkuchen werd behoorlijk gedomineerd door de kaas die erop zat. Lekkere aparte kaas (en goed knapperig deeg), maar niet helemaal in overeenstemming met wat je bij een flammkuchen verwacht. Neem vooraf het broodje met "smeersels". Lekker en het maakt het wachten op het voorgerecht aangenamer. De fles prosecco van Martini paste goed bij alle gerechten, maar als prosecco hebben we nogal eens wat lekkerders gedronken. Hij was ietwat zoetig en had minder prik dan vaak het geval is, en prik vinden wij belangrijk. Redelijke prijs.

Yesterday I had dinner with 11 people at Moeke Nijkerk with my birthday mother. Unfortunately this will be our first and last visit. We had made a reservation for 11 people and I indicated that the 11th reservation was for a two-year-old child and I asked for a high chair to be placed at the table. Upon entering we were very surprised that there was not even a table ready and two tables had to be quickly pushed together. There was also a high chair missing that was finally brought after a long wait, so we did not have the impression that we were welcome. . We then sat here for 4 hours for a 3-course menu. It took a very long time before the order was taken and even longer before all courses were served. When the main course was served, it turned out that there were 2 wrong dishes and the 2 rib eyes ordered were not to your liking because it was indicated that they should both be medium rare, but they were served well done. This was indicated at the service where they were asked if they should let it cook further, so a very strange response because the problem was that they were TOO far. The port sauce and satay sauce were also far too thick and far too salty. A lot of missed opportunities for Moeke because for a bill of €600.00 there is a lot of competition and we will sit elsewhere next time.

Went to Moeke Nijkerk's for dinner a few times in recent months. That's why we called on January 5 to make a reservation for 20 people. Everything was agreed. Today, January 17, I was told that they do not make reservations for 20 people. No effort was made to offer an alternative. We will never eat there again!!!

Nice restaurant. Delicious food, but the service... I have no words for it. Helped quickly at the beginning, but it took more than an hour before we could order the main course. Wasn't busy at all. We were not given any cutlery with our food. It took a very long time before we could get the attention of the staff. She didn't understand anything when it came to paying.... we understand that good staff is difficult to find, but this was really bizarrely bad. It was just laughable. It's a shame because I always enjoy eating at other establishments.

Onwijs vriendelijk en meedenkend personeel en een menukaart waar voor ieder wat wils op staat. Zowel qua type lunch als prijs. We hebben alle 3 iets anders gekozen en aangezien ik niet van zachte eieren (gepocheerd of spiegel) houdt, maakte de kok voor mij een gebakken ei. Top! Flammkuchen beviel ook goed en de curry loaded Fries ook. Top veel vega keuzes en de kletskop koffie is een grote aanrader. De sfeer hier is ook goed.

Great food, but it costs your neck. The elevation in the dining area is a hazard, there is no marking or the like. on, making it barely visible. Seeing several people stumble and fall by a hair. The food and atmosphere are very good! It is highly recommended, but watch where you walk.
