Beautiful place for lunch and dinner with a terrace overlooking the harbor basin. Nice, extensive menu and delicious wines. Good and efficient service.

Cozy restaurant with a nice menu and pleasant wines. The food is well prepared and served neatly. When I was there, it wasn't busy, so I can't say much about the atmosphere. The decor and the music are certainly cozy.

Had a delicious meal and enjoyed the menu, which has already been partially updated. Friendly service and nice atmosphere.

We dined with 8 people. We were given a square table, ideal for 8 people. Atmosphere: mediocre; there was a smell of sewage with toilet freshener, noticed by several members of the party. Waiting times between courses were unpleasantly long. The party was complete by 6:30 PM so we could order, but we didn't get up until 10:00 PM, after dessert. Friendly staff. However, they did not come to inquire halfway through the main course if anything else was needed or desired. Given the prices, the food was below par. Mustard soup: very little soup in two oversized stacked plates; it lacked flavor. Onion soup: tasted good, but very little: a small bowl, only half-filled. Entrecôte: rather dry and bland in taste, served with a hefty dollop of herb butter the size of a golf ball. Veal steak, medium: bone dry, completely overcooked. A free dessert as compensation. Salmon: small piece, reasonably flavorful. Red snapper fillet: also just a modest little fillet, not particularly flavorful. Vegetables: very little: two small bowls for 8 people. A bowl per person would not have been out of place. Fries: crispy and tasty, not excessively much, three cones for 8 people. Fried potatoes: boiled, crumbly potatoes that were barely fried. In summary: not worth repeating.

We've been coming here for over 40 years; it just feels like coming home. And the staff is friendly.

Very friendly service, delicious food. Some familiar dishes were remixed, or the bird was presented in a slightly different way. Clever! We were there on a Friday evening. One section was already quite full, and several tables were reserved, so we were glad we'd made a reservation.

The food was excellent, the atmosphere is a bit dated, and the food was good but nothing special. All in all, there wasn't much wrong with it.

Excellent ! We loved it, one of the few restaurants open after 9 p.m. around. Top service, excellent cuisine, go there with your eyes closed! (No map in English, but Google translate does the job very well)

The ambiance was super nice, it didn't feel too busy (even though it was full). It took a while before we got the card, but we were in no rush. The meat of the carpaccio could be better but was not bad. The spareribs fell off the bone as they should My wife's tournedos was a little tougher than we had hoped, but that was a bit less. It's very nice that you can get regular (chilled!) tap water in addition to your wine, which is something I miss at many restaurants. And a big plus for the service!

Cozy place. The quality of the dishes is correct, but I consider it a little overpriced for the amount of food offered. Friendly waitresses but they took too long to serve dinner. There is free parking right in front, so it is quite accessible.

Another first time. Upon entering we were taken to our table. It is not busy (yet). We have some time to take in the surroundings. The atmosphere is good, although the decorations look a bit random (in my opinion). Furthermore, it looks nicely cared for. After half an hour we already have the starter on the table. In fact, it's almost gone again. The main courses do take a little longer to arrive. Probably thanks to a now full restaurant, the dessert is delivered a little faster. The food is very good, we enjoyed it. We all ate something different, but all three of us have no complaints about the reserved food. We will come and eat here again, although there are more restaurants to try in Nijkerk.

Very friendly service. Food was okay. I think the green beans came from the freezer. Too bad they weren't asked about allergies or whether there were any vegetarians. Solving this was no problem and the adjustment was extremely friendly.

Had delicious spare ribs here. Well cooked, roll straight off the bone. Furthermore, it is very nice that you can just have a conversation at the table without having to talk loudly.

Unfortunately, the experience here was not that great, we came on King's Day and it was busy. But we waited 1.5 hours for the starter, had to ask for the menu ourselves, if we wanted to order we really had to get the attention of the waitresses and the main course also took a very long time before we got it. Regular customers next to us said they had never experienced this before. However, we received no compensation or apology, so that was a shame. However, the food was very tasty!

We were here on Valentine's Day. There was a special multi-course menu. We had a delicious meal! All courses equally delicious. The time between courses was fine and the service was very friendly. Enough choice on the wine list and not crazy priced at all. We would love to come back again.

They ate mussels there with 3 people. I first had an appetizer. Risotto croquettes with Parmesan cheese. The taste was fine, good cheese flavor, structure was missing. Frozen maybe? Mussels were good. Too bad the service was a bit messy.

The food is very good and very tasty

We ate here for the first time yesterday. That was a surprise! We chose the Dorade fillet with Cajun spices, lime, corn and pineapple. A delicious flavor combination! The fish was perfectly cooked, and, important detail, was served on a hot plate. The garnish of fries, fried potatoes and salad was also excellent. The portion size was fine. We also enjoyed the dessert (Limoncello and Strawberry Trifle). The service was attentive and friendly, and the kitchen also asked if everything was to your liking. All in all it was a positive experience, and one worth repeating, partly because we thought the price-quality ratio was very good.

Keurig terras, vriendelijk personeel. Allebei mosselen gegeten. Was ok, niet overweldigend. Niet smaakvol, naar mijn idee wat oude mosselen… Een heel klein bakje salade erbij… die kunnen ze achterwege laten. Paar blaadjes sla, kommkommer en paar stukjes tomaat die niet lekker vers was. En veel te klein voor twee personen.Twee bakjes met saus erbij, was ok, maar niets bijzonders. Mis echt een beetje creativiteit. Veel vliegen die rond de tafel vlogen… Daar kun je best wat tegen doen door bv. waaiertjes neer te zetten. We bestelde capuccino na. De tafel was best vies/geknoeid van het eten. Werd niet even weggehaald. Geen terugkoppeling of alles ok was… Heel jammer dit! Al met al ok, maar niet overtuigend om gauw weer terug te komen.

Oh what a delicious meal. Waitress knocked glass of beer off the tray. Can happen. She kept apologizing several times, which of course was not necessary. Were offered a new meal as the previous one was a bit swimming in beer. Top service!!! Only positive as far as we are concerned 👍👍👍

This afternoon this opportunity comes to mind. Picked up the phone and yes, there is still a table for three. Upon arrival the place is already quite full and this immediately gives a good impression. Everything we hoped for came true. There is a great atmosphere in the business. Friendly service, delicious wine and good food for a reasonable price. Address to visit again!

Ate here last weekend. Excellent food, large portions and because of the asparagus season there were also extra dishes with asparagus. Good atmosphere and very nice service.

Always delicious dishes, friendly staff. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates food for its taste. My wife and I have been regular guests for years and even our youngest son prefers the Dolle Joncker to the fast food chains!

Something different again. A 'solid' restaurant, in an old building, but with a nice menu. Great service, very tasty food, beautiful dishes and decent portions 😀. Will try something different there soon. We will definitely come back.

Simple restaurant with little atmosphere and food was not that bad. Service was also not great.

Nice location to meet each other; we sat as a group in the conservatory. We thought it was quite reasonable to talk, play a game, etc. I found it disturbing that an empty buffet stood in the center of this room all afternoon. The food would only be served here after a few hours. If this buffet has to be there (empty), turn it into something beautiful and decorative! Plenty of possibilities. The food was good, enough variety, even for those with dietary requirements.

We had a really delicious meal here tonight. Almost everything is homemade and where do you get fried potatoes with onions these days? Or warm vegetables? Well here it is and I think that's a real plus! We will definitely come back and recommend this restaurant to people who have never been there. The service was also very friendly and did not rush you at all, they really took the time for you.

Great meal. Unfortunately, we occasionally suffered from a pit smell outside. Where this came from?? It all took a while, but in the end it helped very well.

Delicious food! The salmon was quite expensive but excellently prepared, the cod was also excellent. A nice bottle of wine. The dessert closed the door, but I think the eggnog was egg liqueur. Ontvangen in een nog rustig restaurant, met hetzelfde ietwat ouderwetse interieur. Is per slot van rekening ook een monument, getuige het oude balkenplafond. Maar na een tomaten soep met pomodori tomaten en stokbrood kruiden boter, gingen we beginnen aan het Hfd gerecht Veluws eendenborst m sinaasappelsaus (helaas er alleen voorbij gevlogen) en ribeye m champignonsaus. In beide gevallen goed bereid tot de juiste cuisson en goed op smaak en met garnituur. Begeleid d wijnen van Paul Mas - rosé en rood. Goede afdronk. Smaakten er perfect bij. Het was ook veel drukker geworden en de zaak zat vol met groepen en stellen. Ongelofelijk dat er zoveel goed eten, door vooral Martijn v Essen bereid kan worden en Henk onze ober liep zich een breuk met een paar collega's. Petje af uit bewondering, timing, aandacht en inzet gepaard m motivatie en kwaliteit.
