Aloha Café - Cocktails & Pizzabar in Centrum

I had a great time participating in the pop quiz.

Very disappointed with this bar, I think the owner has changed and the menu with it, because it has nothing to do with the comments I read previously. We had burgers and the bun was ultra dry, the meat very fatty, and for the Mexican burger they had put chips inside. Very low-end burgers, way too expensive for the quality offered. I give two stars only for the staff who were lovely.

We ate at the Rockville Café today – overall, a solid experience with outstanding service, but some minor issues with the food. Service: Absolutely top-notch! Friendly, fast, and solution-oriented. Our request for the burger to be served "well done" (due to pregnancy) was accommodated without any problems – although this isn't usually the case. Suitable seating was also easily arranged for our 2.5-year-old daughter. Drinks and food were served promptly. Location: The café is located in a lively, slightly touristy area – but overall, very pleasant. Food & Drinks: – Burger: Very tasty, juicy, and well-seasoned – 9/10 – Fries: Unfortunately, a bit soft and lacking in seasoning – 2/10 – Onion rings: Average, decent in taste, but not a highlight – 6/10 – Drinks: Two of them were well-chilled, but unfortunately, my beer was too warm – a minor letdown. Price: The price is justified given the location. We would have expected a bit more flavor from the side dishes. Conclusion: Service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Food: ⭐⭐⭐ Overall impression: 3 out of 5 stars (1 star deducted for the side dishes, 1 star deducted for the beer being too warm) We would come back because of the good service – but we'll probably choose different sides next time. Conclusion: Service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (10/10) Burgers: 9/10 Frieze: 2/10 Onion Rings: 6/10 Overall: ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3 out of 5 stars) (One star off for the sides, one star off for the warm beer) We would return for the great service – but next time we’d probably try different side dishes.

It was very good, the burgers could have been a bit bigger, the prices for a Coke are hefty.

A chance discovery during a visit to Alkmaar, a stroke of luck. Tasty snacks to accompany your beer, friendly, prompt service, and a lovely ambiance. You can sit comfortably outside by the bridge, while the inside has a cool pub atmosphere. Reasonable prices for this location.

Previously Aloha Cafe. Paradiso next door sold, patrons & staff now here. Love it, music with a bit of volume, great staff. Regulars add that homely feeling. Food not to shabby either.

Too bad the concept has changed. They had the tastiest burgers in town, but as a pizzeria they still have a lot to learn (tough base, no tomato sauce, bland flavors such as pistachio didn't taste like anything and the meat was more fat than meat). Hopefully they will switch back to their old concept soon.

We went here for pizza this evening. The pizzas were very tasty and fresh. We were served very nicely and courteously and would love to come back!

Delicious Pizza in one of the most atmospheric places in Alkmaar.

We were here without a reservation, which wasn't a problem. We were warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home. The food was fresh and very tasty. The service was top! There was no sparkling wine, which is why I ordered the Aperitivo Sprizz with seltzer. When I got it, the nice waitress said straight away that if it didn't taste good, I should be honest and he would make me another drink. He would have tried to produce the acid from the sparkling wine differently. What can I say ? I'll probably always drink my aperitivo like this from now on :D So overall we were completely satisfied and will definitely come here again when we are in Alkmaar.

We entered, but were not welcomed or asked if we had made a reservation (we had). We were looked at by the staff, but we felt they preferred not to see us enter. So crazy... never experienced this atmosphere before. The lady at the counter didn't seem like it either. We had not looked at the menu online before, but we did see a pizza bar, but the photos (of the restaurant) and reviews on Google suggest that hamburgers are also served. This is therefore no longer the case. For us, the limited menu, the very high tables and the atmosphere of the staff were reasons to look elsewhere, unfortunately. So this is not a judgment on the food, because we didn't taste anything.

Visited for the first time for a friend's live concert. Atmosphere and music was good. Staff is friendly and delicious cocktails, among other things!

Waited an hour for food. A pity

Booked in advance. Called again to be sure. When we arrived there was an empty reserved table, but we had to sit outside because apparently guests who are not there are more important than 8 guests who are. Fine, as long as food comes. But that didn't happen. After asking several times and waiting for 55 minutes, a handful of nachos finally arrived (25 euros worth of nachos = 2 soup bowl sized containers with a small amount of sauce, disappointing) and after repeated insistence we were, by God's grace, allowed to take a seat at the EMPTY table for the people who (also ) had made a reservation but were not there. The burgers are not expensive and tasted pretty decent... but it was already a lost cause. Ordering drinks was accompanied by a grumpy look as if you had done something wrong, and there were no apologies afterwards. Worst catering experiences in years.

Made a reservation and ultimately sent away because the power went out outside and they had no room inside. Reservations count for nothing. After insisting we were allowed to stay, after an hour and a half we received our food. Ball tent.

Took a cocktail tasting via social deal. There was no terrace yet, but the owner was kind enough to put a table outside for us in the nice weather. Cocktails were delicious and the accompanying snacks were also great. We would love to come back here!

Came here via Social deal for 2 cocktails + 3 dishes. You are not allowed to choose your own dishes as stated there. The staff thought they were choosing 3 shared snacks for us, but the deal stated that we could choose ourselves. Received 2 snacks of their choice from the list and 2 pieces of churros that were not on it. We would never have chosen Churros, others were tasty. But because of this we couldn't order what we wanted per person. After the second course Socialdeal showed us that we could choose ourselves and they apologized but we were not allowed to choose and gave us both an extra drink which was sweet. What they heard from the boss and what was written on it apparently did not match. Tasty cocktails, but it took a very long time before they gave the menu.

Ended up at Aloha Cafe via Social Deal. The staff does their best and the cocktails and accompanying dishes are top notch and more than sufficient! Through Social Deal you get smaller drinks and snacks at most restaurants and cafés, but not here, because you simply order from the (standard) menu!

At the end of our boat trip we made an appointment to have a burger at Aloha Cafe. What can I say? Absolute top service from Jan, very good burgers, everything freshly prepared, homemade burger buns and patties. The sauces were very good too! These were one of the best burgers I have ever eaten. The prices are very small compared to other restaurants in the area. All in all, top restaurant!

They have the nices chef! She made an extra glutenfree Burger. Absolutly delicious. And they also have pretty good cocktails!

The Aloha is, as the name suggests, unusual. A mix of beach and music bar. Songs from the 80s and 90s. Music videos on big screens. During our visit, the service wasn't always on point, but was very friendly. After we ordered, we received our drinks and food quite quickly. The cocktails are great, a nice selection of beers and the burgers are very, very tasty. The only thing that wasn't so ideal; that the drink cards have been stuck correctly. It didn't really bother us. So a visit is definitely worth it.

The three of us stumbled in here by chance after a long journey with our little one. Burgers, beer and drinks were very good and the service was very friendly with our youngest. We felt very comfortable! Without children we would have stayed here for hours.

What a delicious burger. Large bite but The Adult tasted very good. Service seemed a bit rushed when taking our order, but the food and drinks were served quickly. Fast service in any case.

We were attracted to the fun terrace and the idea of nice Hawaiian cocktails. We ordered the pulled pork nachos and pina coladas (the only tropical-esque drink). The portion was generous but flavor was lack luster. We asked before we ordered the drinks if they were blended and they said yes, but they were not, which defeats the purpose of pina colada. Honestly the aloha thing is clearly just a marketing gimmick, there is no tropical or Hawaiian food or drinks here. Overall I imagine this to be an amazing Thursday night spot that students love to frequent. The full page of shots basically as long as the cocktail list should have been a clue.

Every burger could also be vegetarian, with a soy burger or with an avocado burger. Almost all the Vega burgers were gone. When we got our order they said they were chicken burgers even though we had said we were vegetarians. They turned out to be vegetarian burgers after all. My burger still had a slice of ham on it... Service very slow. We didn't get what we ordered, ingredients were missing that were on the menu. Burgers were tasty when you finally get what you ordered. Also many different beers. There was paper and soap everywhere in the toilet. Have to work on their service because you don't go out to eat for this.

Very tasty burgers and you can also drink good cocktails and fine beers here. Even if you can't enjoy this inside for a while, you can pick it all up or have it delivered (recommended). And all burgers can also be ordered in a vegetarian version!

Ordered food from Aloha last night. Two delicious burgers, popcorn chicken, sweet potato fries and 2 frozen magaritas. The burgers were great and the portions of popcorn chicken and sweet potato fries were large. It's also great that you can also order cocktails. This way, eating at home really feels a bit like a night out. In addition, the delivery was also exceptionally fast. In short, if you fancy a good burger, order it from Aloha. And treat yourself to such a delicious cocktail.
