Andy's Cafe in Huiswaard

I found the service very nice. The fries are very tasty and crispy, with plenty of sauce.

Very nice cafeteria, good atmosphere and neat seating. The staff is very friendly, and the food is also very tasty with an extensive menu.

The fries were undercooked and the meat croquette had burst open, there was hardly any ragout inside. You just don't serve that....

Very sweet people, and the fries are incredibly delicious, I haven't gotten them like this anywhere else.

Very good fried egg and coffee, and at a very attractive price. Friendly service. Definitely worth the effort if you have to take a bit of a detour. Really top-notch.

Best snack bar there is. Try a hot dog, wow.

Very tasty food. Fries very good, hamburgers delicious, and the Indonesian chicken sandwich is fantastic. Super friendly and courteous service. Nice snack bar with comfortable seating.

Delicious food. Good service. Great value for money!

Great, large portions for a normal price

That girl behind the cash register/counter is worth her weight in gold!!!!! What a star.

The chip shop for us. The fries are well-cooked, not soggy.

As a resident of Alkmaar-Noord, it is a breath of fresh air to have this establishment around the corner. Delivering consistent quality and service is an art!

Best burgers in Alkmaar! Good burger buns, the sauce is tasty, fresh lettuce and tomato, and for that price, perfect!

A really great cafe with seriously tasty food, homemade fries, and a variety of delicious Indonesian dishes. Good food, friendly staff, and a passionate owner.

Owner very grumpy and unfriendly, he started arguing with me because I ordered something wrong, they are not hospitable and I was not allowed to eat it here, I had to take it with me

Owner grumpy and sighing all the time I was not even allowed to eat here I had to take it with me from that gentleman they are not hospitable and very grumpy

Ordered for the second time tonight, because it is truly delicious! Unfortunately, something went wrong with the comments, but after a phone call, this was resolved perfectly. A thousand thanks! Until the next order.

It's a good thing this cafe doesn't deliver to Heiloo, and I'm only going there once a week for work. Otherwise, I'd be tempted to go more often. Delicious food and friendly staff! Almost bummed that I'll have to work from home soon 😂

Half filled coffee with no plant based milk options

The store closed earlier than its opening hours indicated. I was also shown the door by a drunk man who tried to confront me.

I come here almost every week and really delicious food and very tasty smoothies and bubble tea I would recommend everyone to go here

Delicious food taken away and eaten at home, friendly staff, only compliments, I like to come here

We come twice a year when my mother comes from Spain, but it is so nice, cozy, tasty, nice service, good service, in short, great, thank you for the always welcome welcome

Ordered by phone. Order forgotten. The meatball was cut too thickly and the onions were cut way too thinly. It was awful. Worst "beerhap" I've ever had. The grilled burger was also very mediocre.

Excellent food for a good price

Unfortunately the quality of the food has gone down. Too bad.

GOOD. FOOD IS TASTY. A LOT OF COZY in ANDY'S CAFETARIA.... EVERY CUSTOMER IS TREATED RESPECTFULLY. Staff is nice & respectful....

Good service and good quality definitely worth the money tastes good always quite busy but even then good service

I ask if the sandwich can be ready within 10 minutes to catch the train. Yes, they can say that the final score was 15 minutes. No sandwich and money gone.

Mainly picked up food and ate it at home. Always tasty, especially the Haas sateh

I always receive friendly service, the food is delicious. You also see a lot of people coming back. The waiting time depends on the crowds and it can be quite busy.

You can eat the tastiest chicken satay here. Wide choice, tasty food, friendly service. The location is really great. You roll off the train and you are immediately in the right place! Highly recommended.

Had ice cream with my niece and a friend's kids

The fries used to be made by hand, now they have become factory fries and you can taste that, too bad the milkshake is too expensive, €4.50 is the main price

Staff is customer friendly. Food and drinks are excellent. A nice cafeteria where you can eat if you have to wait for the train.

Delicious fries and wide choice.

Highly recommended, best snack bar in Alkmaar and the surrounding area, good price-quality ratio and very nice people and boss, the fries are definitely recommended and open 7 days a week these days.

An excellent snack bar. Unfortunately, they no longer deliver to our zip code, but that's okay, we're happy to pick it up.

We had a cup of coffee. That one was good

Varying quality, pricey. Friendly staff.

Stranded in this cafeteria due to car trouble. Friendly service, attractively decorated and my order was delicious

A very negative experience. A simple order, a sandwich and fries, apparently cannot be prepared within twenty minutes. The staff is not interested at all.

Ordered online and had it delivered. It was a large order (for 5 people) but it was still delivered within 50 minutes! Top. The food was also delicious, especially the goat cheese sandwich is highly recommended. And the elite beef croquette, I have never had it so tasty! Then ordered sundaes; They delivered 1 wrong flavor, but after calling, the right sundae was delivered within 10 minutes! In short: top tent!!

Super tasty...also try the winter hot dog

Beautiful cafeteria, freshly cut fries and delicious burgers. Hot chicken fries are my favorite.

Very sweet and friendly staff and owner. Quality food and my daughter loves Andy's 😉😁 greetings from us and good luck!!

Went to this snack bar for the first time on Sunday evening and ordered 2 farmer's schnitzels and my mother and I had a delicious meal!! And as a nice bonus, the previous owner was behind the counter and he turned out to be a brother of my first employer in Alkmaar😁 Today I went home again and I took 2 hot dogs with me to Den Bosch because although it is chock full of snack bars here there is no one that sells an authentic hot dog and luckily Andy's does so I also had a delicious meal tonight!!😊 My mother also went to Andy's tonight and also had a delicious meal and I also recommended Andy's to my family so they We have a number of new customers!!! You get 5 stars from me!!!

Best oriental chicken sandwich ever eaten! See you soon!

Nice snack bar at North station, unfortunately always closed on Mondays, which always turns out to be the day that I don't cook myself

All very tasty. Nice staff too.

Fries for 4 are easily more than enough for 5-6... Fast service, happy people! Indian dining is also possible, delicious nasi with satay and a fried egg

“Our” snack bar at Noord for a few years now. Something has changed in recent months. The fries were really the best in the area. Sometimes things are different now. It can be said that the quality remains good.

Nice place with tasty fresh fries and delicious milkshakes

If you want to eat something on site, you will still receive your food in plastic containers instead of on a plate. Not really environmentally friendly.

It's been a long time since I ate such delicious fries! Super friendly and delicious.

Since John no longer runs it, no more five stars. Everything has diminished, the salad, the sandwiches, even the fries. The supplies are stacked in the store, the service is friendly but prefers that you order at the cash register. No interaction, increasingly becoming a student canteen. Very unfortunate, because there is nothing in Vroonermeer.

Delicious food. We'll be back 😉

After a walk, have a cappuccino with a Magdalena ..... and a soft ice cream, neat and tidy

Delicious food, nice friendly new owner. Big disadvantage, it is stone cold inside. Everyone sits with their coat on. Something can be done about that. For the rest great.

Delicious food! Excellent quality food and the service is very friendly! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! 😋👊🏼🤙🏼

Ordered and paid a fixed amount to eat... When I come there to pick it up, the tent is closed. Lights off, phone not answered. I think something about this...

Nice atmosphere and good flavor on the plate. However, I waited for my dish for over an hour and when it arrived it was cold. They just forgot to deliver it to me at the table

Good food, especially for the price. Friendly staff who are not afraid to speed up for the train ^^.

Everything is just that little bit tastier than at a regular snack bar. Delicious fries, good burgers with a really tasty sandwich, vegetable croquette is great, etc. And a friendly manager too!

food here is good ".. nice staff too, it is slightly more expensive than the regular snack bar, but it does have a luxurious appearance

Wonderful to eat here, I don't know what they do with their fries but it's really impossible to resist

What a great company. Good quality!!!

Tasty and quick bite Good quality

Celebrated birthday, ordered food from John from Andy's! Satay with peanut sauce, very good!!! Drinks plus snacks and fries! Highly recommended, well cared for and tasty, it also looked beautiful the eye wants something too. Worth repeating , John and staff, Thank you!!! . ,

Delivery on time, healthy delicious sandwich, but fries were inedible. Saltless and overcooked, most of the ends were crunchy and the rest was limp.

Cool and simple place to grab a beer and snack. Staff is also very kind and friendly.

Ordered here for the first time, delivered on time and delicious food. Everything still warm. Delivery person was also very friendly.

Super good, super tasty, delivered quickly, delicious fries, quantity just right... A big 10 for this Toko.

Best snack bar in Alkmaar! Fresh fries, well-filled burgers and friendly staff.

Delicious fries with a chicken burger! 🙏🏼

Nice snack bar/cafe, been coming there for years, always good food and cozy.

Delicious fries and the best hot dogs

Great food, but you certainly don't have to go for the "nice" staff. When you enter, if you're lucky, you'll get a grumpy greeting. Small tip: shouting through your restaurant that you no longer want new - home delivery - orders, while you are standing in front of the counter and have customers sitting in the restaurant, creates a warm and desired feeling - not really. And if you ask whether the order is for takeout or “eat here”, I would rather not have my food in a paper bag at the table if the answer was “eat here”.

Top tent. It's actually a kind of luxury snack bar. Prices are reasonable.

Dear owner, good food! And also one that does not participate in medical apartheid, a big thumbs up for you!

Poor service. Dont buy Ice Coffee here is not Ice coffee😂 when I asked the girl she said sorry that’s how we make it. Not good taking feedback. Het was in het nederlands 😄

This has to be one of the best snackbar/restaurants that I've been to, there delicious food which they showcase with photos that AREN'T photoshopped, so you know exactly what you are getting, friendly staff, place to put your bike and they have a terrace where you can sit if it's nice weather! It's just simply perfect. 10/10

Tasty fries and delicious hot dogs!

Placed an order for 5 people on the spot, and because the weather was nice, we immediately had something to drink on the terrace. When ordering, we also indicated that we would sit on the terrace in the sun. After more than half an hour we see a couple walk into the cafeteria, and soon come out with a bag full, (and immediately dig through the bag as they walk away). I made the joke "that must be our order" .. 10 minutes later the couple comes back with the bag, and after a few minutes they walk out again, I had the feeling that maybe something was missing from the order or something like that.. Soon afterwards an employee comes out with a bag, and the comment that he had already lost us and had given the order to the wrong person. We quickly went home, we had people waiting for the food, but of course it had already become quite cold and a number of things were missing (I wouldn't be surprised if the couple had already eaten them.) And how The more I think about it, the more disgusting I actually find it, the food was taken away by a stranger, brought back after about 10 minutes, and then simply given back to us without any apologies. Who knows what they did with it... Sorry, but in retrospect I think that just couldn't have been possible, and I would have much preferred if everything had just been recreated.

The food is always tasty, but the milkshakes are almost always mixed up, then you put the letter of the flavor on it, but then it is not right...

Nice cafeteria. The best fries and delicious satay.

delicious food (especially the chicken satay is monstrously delicious) cook is a chef!, top service and ditto delivery, what a relief it is to get your food warm at the door, gold! I'm very happy to have Andy around!

Tasty hot dog and delicious fries! Best fries in Alkmaar! Good service, friendly and fast. I'll definitely return!

Tasty fries, lots of choice of snacks, nice service

The frikadel was delicious, but the fries were very strange. I take a fries out of the bag and the first thing I see is that they are a little brown. Not just brown, a real brown spot, it looked like the piece had been forgotten to peel. It's a real shame, this will ruin your desire for new fries.

Very good quality Right on time Tasted good Decent prices The eco containers (biodegradable waste) are nice for people who really care, of course But it all looks very good and tasted great Absolutely great

Great local snack bar, food really nice & fresh. Good service & people.

Always delicious food! Often several times a week after school we would come by for the legendary cone of fries with frikandel. Always friendly staff you can have a chat with and a pleasant atmosphere inside!

The food is great here, delicious fries and chicken dish. Highly recommended. Tried another Curry meal. This one was delicious. Best lunchroom Alkmaar and Heerhugowaard.

The gentleman was in a cheerful mood and had a delicious frikandel sandwich. He accidentally put the ketchup on the sandwich, but that can happen to the best of us ;P

Cosy, attentive, inexpensive and fast!

They will probably die because of their success. Waiting 1.5 hours for a few frikandels, croquettes and fries. That just can not be.

Delicious cheeseburger! Service is very friendly. Top!

Fries are great! Freshly cut, really great! We don't have to make a detour, but even if we had to do 2 laps of Alkmaar, we would certainly be willing to do so! And real Holtkamp croquettes, how lucky we are that we live so close!😉

The food was delicious and still so hot that it would burn your mouth, as it should be! Price quality is 100%, only quality products are used and you can taste that.
