We had a wonderful breakfast here. We had the "breakfast for two" with a fresh winter tea. It was delicious. Everything was fresh and packed with flavor. Definitely recommended!!

We had a wonderful high tea, it was nice and quiet. High tea was also very suitable for lactose intolerance (please let us know in advance).

Great spot for breakfast in Zwolle. I had a breakfast platter with cottage cheese and granola, a croissant, scrambled eggs, and juice. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. A bonus: there are places with power outlets, so you can also work on your laptop in peace.

Went for high tea with three people, including a gluten-free one. It was really well organized and handled safely. The sandwiches and cakes were delicious and served separately from the non-gluten-free platter, so I could enjoy it without any worries!

We had a bowl there and drank the homemade iced tea and coffee. The bowl was delicious but relatively expensive for what you get. So, I don't think it was that good value for money. The cappuccino was also very good; you even get a discount if you use oat milk.

The food and drinks were amazing, staff was/is super friendly and overall a great experience!! Would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a good time.

I had lunch at Anne & Max in Zwolle today. There was plenty of seating (perhaps because it was Monday) and the service was quick and friendly. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. I had the homemade iced tea, which unfortunately tasted more like instant powder, and the Maximimiliano focaccia. The bread tasted a bit stale and lacked flavor, while I expected a bit more from a place like this. Otherwise, it was fine, but nothing special. My friend had a matcha, which was okay, and a croissant with a clearly microwaved egg, with a little bit of salmon on the side. The price was reasonable, but the quality of the food could be better, in my opinion.

Had breakfast here this morning with my partner: the crepes with clotted cream and seasonal fruit. 3 small pancakes (this was not worthy of the word crepe) from the day before/ready-made from the microwave, a tablespoon of clotted cream and grapes and blueberries and some caramel sauce. For 13! euros.. I am not a big eater, but this was not enough even for me.... I know that purchasing has become expensive... but a pancake..even organic this does not cost more than a euro.. with summer fruit I would have expected strawberries, raspberries, apricot and or nectarine at this moment.. This was a huge disappointment, I will not come here for breakfast or lunch for a while. Who knows, we might try again in a few months.

Cozy place. Only staff who were very friendly among themselves, but had little for the customers. In the service they were friendly.

Had lunch here for the first time because it looked so nice. But the lunch was very disappointing in terms of quantity. We had ordered a cup of soup that was half full, so after 5 bites it was gone. With 1 thin slice of bread. And then paid almost €10 for that! Too bad, because we will not be coming back!

Nooit weer lunchplank voor twee was slecht voor de prijs en na dat wij aangaven dat we niet tevreden waren, deden ze er niets mee.

I will never come here again, I thought the lunch platter was really bad for the price of 17.50 per person and the salad was not tasty. The sandwiches were so thin you could see through them. The soup was four scoops with a tea spoon and it was gone. 1 slice of cheese, 1 small slice of chicken fillet and 1 small slice of ham is really scandalous and I don't say that easily, but I will never come here again. I really don't recommend this place. Sorry about the answer!! We were not told when ordering, but that's a shame.

Had breakfast here today. Croissant, yogurt and juice were tasty The cappuccino delicious. But the scrambled eggs with bacon really aren't that good at all. Looked more like a pudding-like substance than egg. (See photo) I got a bite and a half. Very friendly service who offered to make it again in a pan if necessary. But I didn't need this. Received a nice ticket with drink credit afterwards. So it was a success, but please do something about that egg and bacon.

Wouden hier koffie gaan drinken maar mochten alleen op een heel smal plekje gaan zitten ondanks dat er andere tafeltjes vrij waren. Toen wij daar wouden zitten mocht dit niet omdat ze andere mensen blij wouden maken, terwijl er ook 2 mensen net weg gingen. Wij zijn weer weg gegaan, zo klantonvriendelijk!

Had lunch with the two of us on a weekday. Luckily we had booked in advance, because it was very busy around 12 noon, which is a good sign. Now we were neatly pointed to our reserved table, which was now a really tiny table. Very cute, but absolutely impractical. I think you were just serving drinks and the table was already full. For lunch, certainly not convenient. We ordered their lunch menu for 2 people, here we got something of everything, a soup, a salad, 2 slices of bread, and some toppings. The food tasted good, but the quantity was far from enough, so we ordered some extra bread. First the food, excellent food, taste is okay, quantity is disappointing if you look at the price. With 1 drink per person, and a lunch menu, and then spending 30+ euros per person, it is almost better to go to an all-you-can eat concept, and pay just as much for comparable quality food. You order their own special tea, and then you receive tea in a standard bag. After checking with the staff several times, this should be the special tea flavor, and they have put it together in the bag themselves. Well, we'll just have to believe that, unfortunately the taste of the tea tasted like regular normal tea. Then the service, as mentioned, it was very busy, all tables were also occupied, and there were also many customers who used the living room concept, working outside the door, with a cup of coffee, headset on, and laptop on their lap and off they went! Very nice concept, but the employees were mainly busy, fun, we call it, but accessible for people like us who were eating, was not always applicable. Finally, the atmosphere, I think the place is very nicely decorated, the building itself is high, which made it cool, perhaps also because people were always walking in and out, and so the door was constantly open, even though it was cold outside, and is therefore difficult to keep warm indoors. Conclusion, the food is fine, but the price is actually too expensive. I don't think I'll be back there anytime soon. Give me a location where you get a little more food for your money. This is certainly a great location for digital nomads. Nicely centrally located, great facilities and an excellent networking place to meet other people.

Beautiful and attractive lunchroom. You can sit here and chat. We had a "Sweets for 2" with tea and cappuccino. Real scones, delicious lemon curd and clotted cream. In addition, two delicious pieces of cake. Service is friendly and attentive, the cappuccino is top notch. The prices are high, but that is the case in all these types of tents.

Lekker geluncht bij Anne&Max eten was allemaal zeer op smaak. Jammer dat er geen biertje van de tap is, maar dit maken ze goed door lokale bieren te serveren. Bediening is prima, maar zou wat attenter kunnen. Al met al goed.

They could improve on the food and on the dishes which are a little poor, but obviously I speak as an Italian and our food is sacred 🤣. Nice place and good service.

Have had lunch here a few times. Delicious food. What struck us (and also the people next to us) was that not every dish was served at the same time. Last time I got a lot more salmon with my lunch, and I also heard a few other people on the terrace complaining that the time before their banana bread looked completely different. There was no friendly response to this. We also got the coffee that was knocked over by the waitress back after she walked in to get a new one. Instead of a new coffee, the same coffee (with a cleaned saucer) was served. There is still room for improvement in terms of customer friendliness! Nevertheless, I do recommend this place :)

Friday afternoon during the holidays, all tables were occupied, that often says enough! Delicious chai latte with beautiful coffee milk art. Cozy interior, nice ladies in the service and extensive menu with affordable prices. A good experience for us!

Very nice place to start the day or have brunch, two things we did at Anne & Max during our multi-day stay in Zwolle. Both breakfast for two and Max's breakfast were tasty, well-organized and copious. The first time we couldn't finish the platter completely, after which we were given the banana bread and a few croissants wrapped up. Delicious flat white and ditto cappuccino, as well as Greek yogurt with fresh granola and fruit and fresh fruit juices and homemade iced tea. Nice setting. Smooth, attentive and very friendly service.

Unfortunately, I now have to adjust my good review due to the service lately. Recently took a seat on the terrace in the lovely weather, it would close at 5:30 PM. At 4:00 PM we were already told that the kitchen was closing, half an hour later the bar too. Fine, we quietly finished our drinks and less than fifteen minutes later they turned on a pin machine that we already had to pay for because they going to close. Unfortunately, this gave me a rushed feeling all the time and not a hospitable image

If you reserve a table, you are squeezed somewhere on a bench with a small table... We were planning to have lunch, but we decided to just have a coffee (which wasn't great either...) Furthermore, a lot of noise, you just couldn't understand each other. The only plus was the staff, who were friendly.

A weekend in Zwolle; breakfast/lunch at this nice, atmospheric place! Well cared for and service was very friendly and gives advice if you have any doubts about your choice. Definitely worth it after which you can walk back into the city!
