It's always incredibly delicious! I'm very satisfied... it's a nice and spacious place. However, I was really disappointed with the gluten-free option... the roll was so small! And you pay over 13 euros for that... it was really not okay.

A really cute breakfast spot with a lovely outdoor seating area and a beautifully decorated, high-ceiling indoor space—we liked both! The service was super nice and friendly, which made the experience even better. The food overall was good, though some parts could be improved. We had Max’s Breakfast, which was well-balanced and satisfying in portion, but we felt it could have included a bit more—especially the ham. The Maximiliana Formaggi was a safe choice, but not particularly exciting; the dough was a bit dry and not very flavorful. The Piri Piri Formaggi had a better taste, but again, both the dough and chicken felt a little dry. On the sweet side, they offered a nice variety of desserts. We tried the carrot cake, banana bread, and framboise cheesecake—all were delicious! As for coffee, the flat white had a bit too much milk for my taste, but I really enjoyed the cortado. Overall, a good experience. What I loved most was the wide range of options on the menu—it makes this place a great choice for larger groups, since everyone can easily find something to enjoy.

Recently, a group of women and a few children ordered drinks and pastries. After 45 minutes, still nothing, while everyone around us got them. Even after we told them we'd been there a long time, nothing changed. So we all left. The service was so terrible. Such a shame.

Good café in the city centre with a stylish interior and plenty of space. I came mainly to work on my laptop and appreciated the dedicated workspace. There’s also a family area, so it can get a bit noisy at times. Food prices are slightly above average

Order was taken quickly but then it took 20 minutes for our drinks to arrive. There were only 3 other tables. The food was very good though. I had the club sandwich with chicken. Toilets are not very clean

Just dropped in for a cup of coffee with apple pie and carrot cake. The coffee was nice and hot and strong, and the cake was great. Friendly atmosphere, smooth and cheerful service. Nice big open space without pushy music. In short, for a short break: delicious

Very cozy place and the staff is very friendly. But we got really unlucky with the food - my crepes were dry and cold (I’m 100% sure they were not cooked fresh) and my boyfriend got food poisoning. Given all the positive reviews, I would still give it a chance, but our visit, unfortunately, was quite disappointing

This is our favorite place to have a nice coffee and a pastry. They have a little bit of everything and there are also plenty of options for people who want vegetarian or vegan. The chai latte in particular is my favorite.

We were served by two employees. One of the ladies was welcoming and friendly. The other lady made very little effort to help us and was mainly silent. I had to raise my voice to get her attention. Consumptions must be ordered digitally. In itself a good idea, especially when there is a shortage of personnel, but we did not know this. As soon as we were alerted to this, it turned out that the system was not working. The employee apparently knew this, but reacted very coldly when we told her. Lunch was mediocre. The sandwiches were ok, but no more than that. I'm used to better. The chai latte was weak and not quite up to temperature. Overall disappointing. The interior is attractive. Anne & Max could be a real asset to Apeldoorn, but in addition to more customer-friendly staff, more attention to quality is needed. And, oh yes, the A and M markings on the toilets cause confusion. Maybe meant to be funny?

Anne & Max: Nice concept, but poor execution. The food was mediocre: a dry sandwich and nachos that were nothing special, a lukewarm latte with oat milk. The prices are relatively high for what you get. The tables were too small and ordering via an app/QR code is clumsy and impersonal. When we asked, we still received the physical menu. In addition, there was a lot of dirt on the floor and the toilets were dirty. In short, not exactly recommended.

Nice place to start off quietly with the kids during the week with coffee and something. During the weekend it is very busy and you have to take into account that you have to wait longer and there is more chaos. Then it is also necessary to place your order with the QR code, which is not immediately clear. When it is quiet, the staff will help you in a friendly and helpful manner.

We thought we would have a quick drink…. After a long wait for two coffees with apple pie, it was then covered in a dirty wet paste that should have been whipped cream.... Then the payment also goes wrong, fortunately in our favor this time. TIP: Keep the toilet a little more clean

The espresso was tasty, as was the cappuccino. We left the cookie there, old man. In my opinion, operation via the QR is impersonal and has no advantage for the customer. Toilets were filthy and that was already around 12 noon. Oh yes, too expensive for what is offered.

I think I am done with this place. I already gave them X possibilities to prove them I am wrong but the service is something what drives me crazy. 1. Opening hours are from 8, right? Many times happened that I came shortly after 8 and the cafe still wasnt ready to welcome a customers. So I found out very fast that this is not gonna be place for a morning take away coffee, which is sad. 2. Sometimes the servis is sooooo slow. I mean - I get that sometimes the place is crowded and everyone are swamped by work but like the other day, I gave the place a chance to prove that they dont deserve a bad review and I went there for a lunch. It wasn't that crowded and and it took them 20 minutes to bring us menu (I mean after 20 minutes I gave up and went for a menu by myself) and then took another 10 minutes to take an order, all these despite the fact the waitress was passing us by many many times without noticing we dont have a menu/ we dont have ordered food etc And after ordering they forgot to bring my dring but they charged it anyway. Note to the owner - if they work in some quadrants and one of the employees is on break, just make sure that somebody else is covering their quadrant. 3. Crying babies eeeeeverywhere. I mean - it's not a fault of this restaurant that it's attracted by mums and dads, but if you are not a fan of babies throwing stuff and constant cry, then this is not place for you. 4. The coffee is cold. Now I mean mainly coffees with milk. On the other hand the food is good, and I kike their cookies served with coffee.

The restaurant itself is attractively decorated. The sandwiches were served quickly and were tasty. Furthermore, there was no service at all. We were not told that you could order with the QR code. Except when bringing the food and drinks, no one came to our table, just ignored.

They do their best Had to ask twice where the ordered item was. After 25 minutes I finally received a coffee, a cappuccino and a muffin. After the first sip of (filter) coffee, immediately put it back. Tasted sour and like dish soap. The ladies behind the bar immediately offered an Americano. Top. This was much better, but not what you would expect from carefully chosen coffee as described on the menu. would advise to reconsider coffee preparation. Price and quality as a whole are not in proportion. And that detracts from the concept.

Order took a long time, focacia with pulled chicken was completely cold, we received new ones, but it was a dry reheated bite, certainly not worth the money! Too bad you go to lunch and it is so disappointing, I reported it, but paid the full price! Tea was fine. Staff is friendly. Also noisy, dirty toilet and was eating next to untidy mugs from previous guest.

Delicious breakfast and good coffee

We was waiting the order 1 hour.. and when we ask why we still not get anything the problem was in system with q code. It can happen I understand. Eventually, when the food appears on table I was surprised how badly it looks. The taste was really dry and awful. I don’t remember when last time I eat so badly in cafe. It was really sad experience and I never will go there again.

Nice restaurant, but why only 1 cramped toilet with the paper bin overflowing? And why only 3 sandwiches for 2 people with tiny bowls of soup and 2 small bowls of dip as a lunch plate? No, I don't think that deserves many stars.

The only place in Apeldoorn where my diet (gluten and sugar free) is really no problem, both for meals and something tasty with coffee. I hardly ever like gluten-free bread, but they always have an alternative here. And after consultation, the kitchen can easily make any further desired adjustments. Whatever choice you make, you eat healthy here. And I dare to call myself a 'foodie' ;-)

Been to Anne & Max Apeldoorn several times. A wonderful place to have lunch, eat a cake or sit and work. The cappuccino is highly recommended, with a bit of luck you will also get a nice figure in the foam! When it is very busy and/or there are actually too few staff, you can see that the girls really work hard to give all customers a good experience. I don't blame them for the fact that I might have to wait a little longer or the trash can in the toilet is full! Until next time!

When we entered, there were few staff to be seen and we were assigned a table ourselves. It took a very long time before our order was taken, so we walked to the bar to ask if we could order something. Then waited a long time for the order. When the food arrived (focaccia chicken piri piri and sandwich with burrata and ham) the burrata was replaced by mozzarella without consultation and the ham was missing at all. After we had to make a lot of effort to indicate this to the staff, we were given a bowl with the ham…. To compensate, we were given drinks on the house, which they then didn't know about when paying... Unfortunately we won't be back, even though we like the concept. A lot of changes need to be made to the service here first.

Our experience was not very great. I had made a reservation, but when we arrived we just had to figure something out. Now it was busy and there wasn't much room. It was very noisy and busy. The first table was very dirty and sticky, not cleaned. Then a spot became available in another spot, but I moved there. The girls at the counter were nice. The food, super club, was okay but way too expensive for what you got! Drinking the same, just syrup with water and mint leaf for 4.-. And way too sweet. Toilet, one was out of order, was dirty and wet and full of paper towels on the floor. Paying with a gift voucher was also difficult. New system, so they didn't know how to do that. I said someone has to know how it works, right? I'm not going to pay if I have a receipt. Finally a colleague fixed it. Unfortunately, it was not worth repeating for us.

Nice tent to sit in, very good cappucino. Unfortunately the order did not go through properly, so we had to ask several times for the right products and had to wait a long time for this. Banana bread and muffin were very dry. Also, 1 toilet has been out of use for more than a month and the one that can be used is not clean and also has defects. It's a shame that this is not being acted upon quickly.

The hot cappuccino was cold, and the double chocolate cake didn’t have a chocolate taste—it was more like cinnamon, which I hate. The lemon poppyseed cake wasn’t fresh at all; it tasted like it had been sitting for a week. Overall, it was a totally disappointing experience.

Nice place to have lunch or coffee. It has a good atmosphere, although it is a bit noisy. It took a while until someone came to us to take the order. We ordered the vegan version of together for 2. It was very tasty and the many vegan options made me happy! There are many vegan options on the menu for both sweet and savory.

We were looking for a place with tea and cakes and we found it! Great choice of different flavours. And I love the small tea pots, very handy!
