The three of us were here yesterday and went for high tea through a social deal offer. But what a tasty and good high tea! Tea was delicious and the food was also delicious, for us it was even too much and we couldn't finish it all. Service was top notch and very nice waitresses. 5 stars from me and see you next time!!

Vanmiddag een high tea gehad bij de Eetkamer. Alles was vers bereid. Heerlijk vers gebakken zoete hapjes . Lekker knapperig en zacht vanbinnen. Lekker pittig soepje vooraf. Het was echt Lekker. Voor herhaling vatbaar.

What a wonderful place to enjoy yourself! I came for lunch with friends on Thursday. We were pampered. Our table host Joey turned out to be a very charming professional. Enjoyed the food, drinks, service. A complete hospitable experience!

Had a delicious High Tea. Sweet and savory snacks on the Etagère. Choice of 3 types of sandwiches: egg salad, herb cheese and tuna salad. All very tasty. But the highlight was the cappuccino, mushroom and curry soup. Truly delicious. The staff was friendly and the service good.

Had lunch here with a number of colleagues on Wednesday, July 6. We communicated in advance that there had to be one vegan lunch. The result was astonishing. In front of me I was presented with a plate of three nice looking egg and cheese sandwiches. Well, if you don't know what vegan is, find out. Something would be arranged for me on the spot. My lunch then consisted of a cucumber sandwich and iceberg lettuce sandwich. So no more dining room for me.

Samen met mijn vrouw zochten we dit restaurant op voor een late lunch. We kozen allebei voor het gerecht dat de naam van het restaurant droeg: de Eetkamer burger. Dat wekt verwachtingen! Na lang, héél lang wachten kwam dan eindelijk de eetkamerburger. Smaakte verder oké, maar ook weer niet heel bijzonder. Patatjes erbij waren lekker.

Very nicely decorated and friendly service from the staff. Apple pie was homemade and I could taste it because I always make it that way myself. You can also borrow books here, which I think is a very nice concept!

I ate a delicious pea soup here, which was surprisingly tasty, well filled and nutritious with a lot of meat. And I also brought a pack from the freezer so that I can enjoy the soup again at home. The Lunchroom is also highly recommended with nice people in the service, I will definitely come back!

Ik was nog nooit in deze lunchroom geweest maar had er wel van gehoord. Ze hebben heerlijke erwtensoep dat ben ik daar gaan eten verrassend lekker goed gevuld met veel vlees echt snert zoals het moet zijn. Echt een aanrader! Het is een initiatief van Stichting Philadelphia zorg waar mensen met een afstand tot de arbeidsmarkt (leren) werken. Dit juich ik toe iedereen moet een eerlijke kans krijgen want het is belangrijk dat je meetelt. Ik heb ook nog een pak soep uit de vriezer mee genomen dat was ook mogelijk kan ik thuis nog een keer genieten van de soep!

The staff is friendly and does their best to serve you well. We had the high tea and it was excellent, both in terms of quality and variety. It was regularly checked whether there was still enough hot water for tea. When it was almost empty, you quickly got a new pot of boiled water.

25 Juli, de dag dat Apeldoorn de 40*C aantikte, hebben wij ons laten verrassen met de donderdagavondhap. We hebben bijzonder lekker gegeten, ovenschotel, kip in tomatensalsa met sperziebonen, feta en parmezaan, frisse salade en een drankje incl. voor €8.50. Vriendelijke bediening en gezellige relaxte sfeer. Wat ons betreft een echte aanrader. We gaan dat zeker vaker doen op de donderdagavond. Waar kan je vandaag de dag nog zo lekker eten voor een prijs, die naar ons idee wel heel laag is!

Cozy lunchroom near Apeldoorn station. We made a reservation with Social Deal for 2 people. Very sweet and attentive staff to serve something extra for the little one without charging extra. High tea with mainly sweets. Tasty, but I don't like too much sweetness. What you don't finish you can take with you in a box!

We hebben hier via de social deal de high tea gegeten. De hartige hapjes waren erg lekker. Helaas vielen de zoete hapjes tegen. De bediening is vriendelijk. We vinden het een mooi initiatief, dat mensen met een afstand tot de arbeidsmarkt hier kunnen werken. Ondanks dat de zoete hapjes tegenvielen raden wij dit restaurant aan.

If you come out of the station and you want something to eat, especially a nice lunch, you don't have to go into the center, because the restaurant café de dining room is close to the station. The Eetkamer is an initiative of Philadelphia Zorg Gelderland-Noord (a region of the national network organization Philadelphia Zorg Foundation). The region is active in Apeldoorn, Epe, Vaassen, Uddel and Wenum Wiesel, among others, and offers support to approximately 400 people with intellectual disabilities. In a small-scale lunchroom under the supervision of both healthcare and catering professionals, the participants are active in the middle of society. The Dining Room is wheelchair accessible. Anyone who enters also supports a good cause in some way. And all the servers are very friendly and nice, you get everything neatly at the table and it is of excellent quality, so very tasty. And the prices are not too bad, they are mainly lunches and they cost around 6.50 - 7.50, including bouncers, croquettes with bread or fries, beef burgers, carpaccio, sandwiches, toasted sandwiches, soup, etc.

Food was ok, service ok, price was ok. However, the appearance of the restaurant made one expect a little more.

Obtained vouchers via social deal for a high tea, only after payment does it become clear that you can only make a reservation by telephone. If you want to make a reservation, you will then be told that it is full. I think it would be useful to mention this in advance, otherwise you will get the vouchers for free!
