What a nice spot next to the old station. We had a delicious breakfast here and had a nice chat. Delicious coffee and friendly service. Unfortunately, no photos, but my dish was very tasty and looked beautiful.

Nice place, dishes of very reasonable quality, but what miserably poor occupancy. A lot of work for well-meaning young staff, awful to see. Management, can't you do better? Then I would also enjoy my time at your table more. I look forward to your response. We were there on a Sunday, fully booked as expected.

Foccacia Pulled Chicken, I had to search for the chicken. There was a thin layer of something that looked like chicken in a huge amount of focaccia.

Yesterday morning, we met up here with a group before going sightseeing in Delft. Enjoyed good hot coffee and a delicious chocolate caramel nut cake; it tasted good.

A fine place near Delft station to have a coffee and a snack. Little variety in the black tea (only Earl Grey), which comes in one of those cute little white silky tea bags that you have to push down with the spoon because otherwise it floats. The extra biscuit served with it was tough, but that might have been a fluke. The decor is pleasant, spacious, and modern. Clean toilets. The internet signal behind the glass is poor. A huge plus is the many sockets for charging your phone or tablet. All in all, therefore, a positive review.

Service could be much better and faster. Food was okay, but nothing special.

Unfortunately, it felt like my food allergy was a major inconvenience for the staff. I had to "avoid" half the food because I should have "mentioned it much earlier," even though our waitress had previously asked if there were people with allergies, and I had indicated my allergy at that time. When I asked what the ingredients were, I received the answer "I don't know," instead of her just going to ask the kitchen.

Tasty lunch in a casual atmosphere

The service is extremely bad! The girls working there are most of the times in a bad mood or don’t feel like working. They treat you like they are doing you a favor. I waited for 40 minutes for my order and when I asked, they just replied that the order didn’t make it to the system. No one ever apologized and the were even upset that I was complaining. We will never go back there!

My sister and I had High Tea here. Not worth repeating. We didn't get what we ordered. Unfortunately, they didn't inform us of this. We also received less food than what we paid for. Very disappointing. We had high expectations of you.

Very disappointed with this dish. The picture on the website shows a bowl with nice strawberries and several fruits, which is exactly why I ordered it. I was really craving strawberries in my cottage. The mint in the bowl really didn’t taste good In reality, it looked nothing like the photo. There were no strawberries at all, just two grapes and a small piece of pineapple. I mentioned it to the waitress, but she simply said she would pass the feedback on and then left.

Had high tea here on a Sunday in the third week of January. Large table, with a teapot of tea. The ratio of savory to sweet options wasn't the same. There was much more sweet than savory. The savory option was just soup and a sandwich, but the rest was a lot of sweets like pancakes, scones with sweet toppings, cheesecakes, apple pie, etc. Unfortunately, the service was quite forgetful, and in the three hours we were there, we only got one cup of tea and had to ask for the second. That was disappointing. You get two cups of tea from one pot. It was nice to have done it once, but I wouldn't do it again anytime soon.

We really liked the place. Nice and quiet and comfortable. Good food. We saw other customers having lunch or high tea, so we wanted to come back for that. We really enjoyed the place and the service was super friendly. I just found the lentils in the winter special lentil soup really dry. I usually just order from the regular menu because I really regretted the high price of the soup.

29-12-25 I ordered an Indian tonic via the screen, white transparent with a slice of lemon as shown in the image on the screen. After a long wait, I received a small bottle of pink tonic named London Pink/Pepper Tonic, which was pink in color. I asked why I was getting something different from what I ordered; the lady replied, "We don't have what you ordered, so you are getting something else." (Not tasty) That was all I got. 01-01-26 Response to your answer. Upon leaving the premises, I walked past the ladies and there was no response. It does not seem to me that an attempt was made to speak to me or to follow me, and crediting the drink has not yet been successful. Good luck with your staff.

The cakes are delicious, but everything is way too expensive. For those prices, the portions could be a bit larger. Take America for example... I find the portions meager, but the quality of the food is good, but not particularly special. Add salt and pepper to taste. If they were a bit cheaper, I would definitely order here regularly. For now, it's just for once every six months (too expensive for me anyway). :-(

Great restaurant for all kinds of food and good coffee

I've been here a few times now and have been disappointed every time. The dream croissant was incredibly dry. It felt like the egg and salmon were just thrown in. The matcha latte was very thin, not creamy at all. All this while you're paying so much for it. A real waste of money. You can really taste that the food here is made without love and passion.

What a nasty coffee, that (overpriced) Americano was really one of the few times I had a bad coffee. Sour, bitter, nasty. Also had to wait 10 min for it.

I hoped to have a lovely breakfast while visiting a new city but ended up more disappointed than ever. I ordered a breakfast plate and chose salmon, which looked fresh on the ordering screen. In the end, I got eggs with hot-smoked salmon. I explained to the waitress that I cant eat this, and she said, “Okay, then show me at the order desk that it shows fresh or cold-smoked salmon” - easy, after that I ordered new eggs with bacon instead. At first, the waitress even asked if it was okay to just pick out the salmon from my plate and add bacon - for real?? New eggs were also disgusting and to top it all off, I found a hair in the new eggs!! Eggs should have been served with “two fresh sourdough bread slices” and it was cheap cold bread from Albert Heijn!!? I asked the waitress why I didn’t get what was promised, and she said, “I don’t know,” then ran away. I never felt so angry and frustrated from breakfast. Money to the trash can and wasted mood. One point for at least good fresh orange juice.

This is parody! We asked for: - Coca Cola zero: "sorry we don't have a second one" - Blond beer: "sorry this is not cold yet is that OK?" - Sparkling water: "Sorry we don't have big bottle" - tosti: they did 40mins to serve it The place was not that busy. The waitresses didn't know what is an ingredient at the catalogue and instead to go to ask for it they replied like "I don't know sorry" BOTH of the two that I asked 😂 and I had ask from them kindly to ask the kitchen. The prices for the portions are a bad joke. Not to speak about the bad cooked of those. Any way even the AH go at the station has better stuff. Even the espresso was so acidic that burned my throat. Anyway I will stay away from this place. Delft has many places to have a decent coffee, food and SERVICE.

I'm also late posting this review. A good friend and I booked a high tea for Wednesday, June 19, 2025. It was quite disappointing, and I really didn't think it was what a high tea should be.

We tried our luck there through Wonderbox, and we were warmly welcomed and were allowed to sit anywhere. We ordered tea and coffee with a smoked chicken sandwich. I enjoyed the taste, but my husband wasn't impressed. He doesn't like so much green on his sandwich either. I didn't think it was worth €14.75. The waitress was very friendly and cheerful. The restaurant is in a nice location.

I loved the location. The food was delicious. The service was very attentive and friendly.

This place is overpriced to the point of delusion. Especially the breakfast for 2 platters. 19€ per person and it doesn't even include coffee. Absolutely not worth it compared to other breakfast places in the city. 10 euros would feel more realistic for the amount of food items you get. Edit: In the reply you're writing that I said it's not clear on the menu. That is not true. I'm saying that it's ridiculous that a 19 euro breakfast doesn't even include a beverage. This makes it more like a 25 euro breakfast. And for that amount of money I expected more. Anyway... staff were friendly and the place looks good, but we were quite disappointed by the price/quality ratio.

We ordered lunch for two here, very tasty and healthy! And the food is served beautifully. Great spot in Delft, right next to the station.

Gave this place a second, but helaas it wasn't worth it at all. Breakfast platter, 19 euroes was way too high given what was served. The crepe was a disaster. There was no love in what was served. The eggs with spinach..naaah ! More of insta place, where everything looks good but not tasty. Lastly, beverages were not at right temperature. Matcha latte was lukewarm :/ Ps. Looking at the reply from the owner, neither relevant to the complaints nor constructive. Kindly check the definition of duplicate reviews ( you serve a group of 8 poorly and find 2 poor comments duplicate)

Really good brunch good vegetarian options and nice coffee! The staff was really friendly!!

We never come here again, every time the cappuccino is not good and yesterday the iced cappuccino was awful.

What a shame, the iced matcha was incredibly watery, and the granola with grapes and banana was incredibly warm. The yogurt was very warm, and the grapes were actually brown. Be careful, because that's such a waste of your fantastic terrace. Make it perfect. Good luck!

Nice location and staff, food is mediocre

Anne&Max Delft is by far the coziest of the branches we have been in. The food is delicious and the cafe has a great ambience with lots of natural light. The location is also ideal as it's right next to the train station.The owner, Jasper goes out of his way to make you feel welcome. We would highly recommend it and we are definite return customers

Ideal place for your cup of coffee

Disappointed in both the taste of the coffee and the lunch. Despite the individual ingredients having taste, there was nothing to taste in my focaccia. This was expressed to the service who did very little with it.

Coffees (espresso, cortado and latte machiato) were luke warm and sour. focaccia and bowl unimaginative and dull in flavour. service was friendly

We ended our weekend trip in Delft with a breakfast at Anne&Max. The service was friendly and fast. And the food was good. We enjoyed our breakfast in the quiet atmosphere. I was conveniently located close to our hotel.

Friendly and attentive staff, Healthy and well-served food, with quality and elegance. Careful, minimalist, elegant decoration. Excellent quality for the price. I noticed that it is a place where you can work with your laptop 💻.

My favorite studying place in Delft, mostly quite, easy to order, kind waiters, fresh bakery and delicious coffee… I wish it was open late

The location and interior are both nice, and the staff are also friendly and helpful. That being said, the food is mediocre at best, and the prices are too high for what you get. A childrens tosti with cheese is €6 plus €4 for a teeny tiny soup. The tosti was dry with a single piece of dried up, melted cheese. The focaccia was €14 for an adult version of dry sandwich. It's just disappointing. I come more often for drinks and enjoy those, usually. But the hot beverages are often lukewarm, even though I've learned to specifically ask for everything extra-hot (after many tepid chai lattes). I just think you can get more bang for your buck elsewhere. It's a bummer, because I love the people and location. I just wish the price:quality was better. Note: when I said the food was dry, the personnel were super engaged and wanted to fix it, even though it had been eaten. I do really appreciate that.

Ik vroeg om een tosti die ze niet had, ze raadde me aan een stuk Italiaans brood met gesmolten kaas, wat dus ook een tosti was maar zonder ham. (Focaga?) Ok dacht ik met een glaasje verse jus. O ja, er zat bij de nep tosti wel nog een inimini schaaltje met ketchup. Ik kan niet zeggen dat de smaak slecht was, maar 15 euro 50 is toch echt wel een meer dan schandalige prijs. Het zal wel aan de dure locatie van deze toko liggen, maar ik heb het gevoel dat ik enorm ben opgelicht door Anne en Max. Eens maar nooit meer.

Everytime I come to Anne&Max in Delft I feel like being at home. It is very cozy and the staff is super friendly. The food is delicious and the coffee is great!

Modern look, the one in Breda is much more cozy. There were a lot of people here with laptops, which was extremely distracting. Shame about the atmosphere. Food was just okay, pastries very tasty.

Today we had a delicious lunch at Anne & Max with a luxurious lunch board. We really enjoyed this. Service was top notch.

Unfortunately, the lunch platter was very disappointing. Salad that was not prepared and therefore not tasty. The dips/spreads also tasted very bland. Can of coke very expensive and didn't taste like coke. The iced tea was completely tasteless. Looked like cold regular tea with a sprig of mint and lemon slices. Unfortunately nothing for us. To give a positive ending to my post. Staff very friendly. And it looks beautiful.

The overall experience at Anne Max Delft was mediocre. Especially compared to other cafes in the area. It was very quiet, chilly, and the music was very soft. The interior design is very beautiful. My order was taken quickly, but the waitress seemed rushed, pushy, unwelcoming. This made it less comfortable to sit there. My drink (ice tea) tasted like water, it is certainly not a brand of ice tea but it could be powder. I wouldn't order that again. The food was okay, tasty but not very tasty so you don't really enjoy it (sandwich). I don't expect lower prices, but I do expect better quality. In conclusion, I wouldn't recommend this cafe so much.

Social deal was good. But not too big a lunch for 2 people

We ate here twice during our visit to Delft and enjoyed both times. The menu is interesting, and the service was very friendly and quite quick.

I come here very often, and it really feels like my regular spot. The owner is very sweet, and the employees are always friendly. It's the perfect place to work on my laptop. The coffee is delicious. Definitely recommended! ♥️

10/10, super cosy, excellent prices

Went here for breakfast. We had the açai bowl and croissant with scrambled egg w/ bacon. Both were tasty. The açai bowl could have been better. They added their own homemade granola. The granola was crispy. And, for those who don’t like raisins, it also had raisins and other dried fruit. It didn’t include a lot of fresh fruit. Just a bit of sliced banana, a couple of halved grapes and a slice of orange.

Ordered a lunch board via Social Deal. Unfortunately, the photo shows a drink, but it is not clear in the description whether it is included or not. When asked in the restaurant, they were told that it was included. Unfortunately, at checkout I was told that I should have read better and I still had to pay for the drink. Very unsympathetic. In addition, lunch mainly consists of spinach and arugula. Not recommended. Otherwise a nice thing.

Update: one star added for the quick response, but I would say arrange it properly with the dinner voucher to avoid disappointments. Nice place for lunch, but it's a pity that we couldn't redeem our dinner voucher.

Ordered a lunch board via Social Deal. Looked nice, but a little less enthusiastic after eating it. Four very thin slices of bread, not enough for the toppings. Spreads that were a bit on the bland side. The egg with salmon and spinach (?) wasn't quite right. SD's photo also showed a juice, but this was not included. Furthermore, we think €6.25 for a normal glass of wine is far too expensive. Wine was already expensive, but it's getting crazier. To end on a positive note, the soup was excellent and the cheese sticks were really tasty. And some extra bread was brought when we asked for it. Nice thing.

Went here every day the week we stayed in Delft, since we stayed at IBIS and got 10% discount with Anne&Max. Fast service with great vegan options. We tried basically everything on the menu and highly recommend the banana bread dish (not very sweet and served very differently than in the US) and the planet friendly start.

Really spend time on yourself. Just had a Cappuccino and pastries to kill the waiting time! The carrot cake is highly recommended! Delicious. Cozy atmosphere, very comfortable. Thank you!!!

De sfeer was goed! Mooie ligging! Goede service, maar het eten viel erg tegen. We vonden het allemaal smaakloos eten. Chai, smaakte meer naar te zoete melk dan echte chai. Thee in een klein theepotje was wel leuk bedacht! Maar jammer genoeg was het ontbijt niet naar ons wens!

Spacious and modern café in industrial style with exceptional breakfast options and smoothies (see pictures). We recommend!

My Italian sandwich was delicious. The bread was very moist and crust nice and crunchy. Service could be improved. Table was left dirty from previous customers and we came back to use the restrooms and that same table was still dirty from before we sat there.

Via social deal we joined Anne&Max for a high tea with 2 table companions. Unfortunately, this ended in disappointment because of the many things that went wrong. Still walked to the kitchen for feedback. They apologized but that was it. -update- The friendly owner offered us a new high tea/lunch board to show us how it should be done. A very nice gesture. Afterwards I even received a box of scones, which a table companion really appreciated! We will come back again :-)

Nothing special for food or coffee but great place to sit and work. If I’m being honest, will def come again for its flexibility.

The salad with couscous was tasteless and dry. We reported it, but there was no follow-up. No excuse or suggestion for a cup of coffee, even though the chef acknowledged that the couscous was not good. The winter bowl was okay, but it was very little for 13.50! Luckily we got a bare sandwich for free. The espresso tasted sour. All in all a big disappointment!

Great for working alone, having coffee or lunch with friends. Nice atmosphere. You can stay for a while, enough room for everyone.

Very nice place for digital nomads. Located next to the station, and great atmosphere to work at. I would go there everyday if I live nearby. Coffee was not bad as well.
