Antepia in Centrum

Unfortunately, Antepia in the Arnhem food hall is not recommended. The quality of the food is poor. The Arabic tapas I ordered were cold, including the chicken wings. The picture shows bread, but it's not included (although you do get a wrap). A large dollop of garlic sauce, a few jarred olives, and some beans complete this "dish," which is supposed to be for two people.

Honestly, it is a very enjoyable place and the food is very delicious.

The service and atmosphere in the food hall are excellent, so we have nothing to complain about there. We ordered the deluxe mezze at Antepia for 20 euros. There was hardly any meat on two small kofte, two chicken wings that tasted okay, and a sosis that had been cut in half. Everything else on the plate was subpar and not fresh. Sarma (stuffed vine leaves) from a can, cacik I've never seen so thin, like ayran with cucumber mixed in, salad not fresh, and turcsu (pickled vegetables) that we suspect was from a previous customer. There were also a few other mezzes and salads, but definitely not worth the money.

This guy deserves more stars than he gets. The food is truly delicious. A bit salty, but very tender. But it does take a bit long. Half an hour or so? If you're at the food hall, I'd recommend just ordering here ahead of time and having a pizza as a starter in the meantime. 🤣

The food was mediocre and took quite a while. It tasted okay, but the food was lukewarm, not quite warm anymore. It said bread would be included, but we didn't get any. We even went to pick it up separately. "Yeah, we don't normally include that because people don't eat it. It's wasteful, you know?" Then ask. By the way, bread is bread, not a dry tortilla wrap, so I understand why people don't eat it. It sounded promising, but we were both a bit disappointed. The kofta was dry, but the taste was fine. Luckily, we still had a good time!
