We asked APOL Foods from Heerhugowaard to cook for our 12.5-year wedding anniversary celebration, and it was, in one word, fantastic. Wouter, the owner, arrived with three female staff members and took care of everything for us from start to finish. Everything was perfect: the communication beforehand was clear and pleasant, the preparation was professional, and on the evening itself, we truly didn't have to think about a thing. The dinner consisted of five courses of an exceptionally high standard. World cuisine, perfectly balanced, beautifully presented, and in terms of taste, truly comparable to what you would expect from a Michelin-starred chef. Each dish had its own story, which was beautifully explained, and a matching wine was served with every course. The à la carte cocktails, the scroppinos as a welcome drink, and all the accompanying extras were also taken care of down to the last detail. What also makes APOL Foods so special is that it goes much further than just cooking. Wouter arranged rented tables, beautiful table settings, silver cutlery, candles, flowers, and personalized cards for all guests with their names on them and the menu on the back. Everything looked stylish, warm, and well-cared-for. It was truly an atmosphere that perfectly suited a special evening. Dietary requirements and the diverse guests were also taken into excellent consideration: pregnant guests, vegetarian guests, and children aged 3 to 12. There was something suitable for everyone, without it feeling like a compromise. We found that incredibly impressive. The staff was attentive, friendly, and professional. They sensed exactly what was needed, worked very neatly, and ensured the evening ran smoothly. Afterwards, everything was left spotless as well. APOL Foods elevated our evening to a level we will not soon forget. It was culinary, stylish, personal, and fully catered. For anyone looking to organize a special dinner or party at home or on location: we can wholeheartedly recommend Wouter and his team. This was absolute top class.

I've been fortunate enough to snag a spot in Wouter's busy schedule four times now. Four completely different settings, but whether he's cooking for six or sixty, Wouter (and his team) deliver an unforgettable evening. He's a true expert when it comes to combining beautiful flavors. The only downside I can think of is that the plates he brings (so you don't have to do any dishes!) feel a bit rough on your tongue when you lick them!

Last weekend, we had the pleasure of enjoying an unforgettable culinary experience with a group of twenty friends, catered by Wouter. From the first course to the last, it was clear we were dealing with a true professional. Wouter amazed us with his talent and eye for detail. Every dish was perfectly prepared, carefully presented, and seasoned to perfection. The vegetarian dish also deserves a special mention: it was just as refined and flavorful as the rest of the dishes, which was greatly appreciated. It was an evening full of delicious flavors and a relaxed, warm atmosphere, thanks in part to his professional and friendly approach. Thanks to Wouter and his team, we had a fantastic dinner during our wedding. Everything was taken care of down to the last detail and we didn't have to worry about anything. Wouter actively thought along during the preparations for the wedding and everything was possible in terms of menu! On the day itself, we had a delicious 4-course dinner and received nothing but enthusiastic responses from our guests. Allergies were also no problem! For my father's 50th birthday, Wouter came to host a five-course dinner at his home. We enjoyed incredibly delicious and diverse dishes, the service was excellent, and both the table and the dishes themselves were beautifully presented.

Dining at this venue was a truly special experience! The welcome at the Water Tower with bubbles and amuse-bouches was excellent. The opportunity to climb the tower was a surprise! Afterwards, we were welcomed into the restaurant, escorted to our seats, and given an explanation of the evening, the venue, and the dinner! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves; the 5-course dinner and wine selection were perfect. Our taste buds were thoroughly entertained. Big thumbs up for Wouter and the entire team! We'll be back for another opportunity!

We were welcomed in the water tower, where we were allowed to peek up to the 126 steps. Awesome! Then we were taken to our table. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic! Fantastic!

Last weekend I ate at the pop-up restaurant near the water tower. Delicious food, great service, and a beautiful location. Besides enjoying a luxurious meal, it also turned out to be a fun experience!

Last night we enjoyed a truly special evening at a beautiful location in Wieringerwaard: the water tower. The moment we arrived, we were immediately delighted; the water tower was beautifully lit. Inside, we were offered a glass of bubbly and an amuse-bouche. We were also allowed to take a look inside the tower—what an impressive building. The five-course dinner was served in the adjacent pump house! Everything tasted delicious, and the plates were beautifully presented. Compliments to chef Wouter! The service was very friendly and explained everything on the plate thoroughly. Definitely recommended, and definitely worth repeating!

Delicious 5-course dinner. The food was very well prepared, not large portions, so it remains tasty and the 5 courses are not satiating. Wouter was able to make adjustments for me on the last day due to intolerances. These were incredibly well done and I had a delicious meal. The ladies knew this exactly, good communication and short lines. They thought along with everything and explained what you were going to eat, very neatly.

Afgelopen zaterdag heeft Wouter ons mogen verwennen met een heerlijk diner op locatie. Een heerlijke culinaire avond voor ons allemaal waarbij echt alles tot in de puntjes is verzorgd. Wouter komt uiterst voorbereid aan op de locatie en heeft echt aan alles gedacht. De tafel werd gedekt terwijl wij nog aan een borreltje stonden. Toen we aan tafel gingen werden we verrast met een aantal heerlijke amuses. De verschillende smaken en wijze van presentatie zijn van zeer hoog niveau. Tot en met de laatste hap van het dessert blijf je van alle smaken en structuren genieten. Nadien terwijl wij zaten na te genieten zorgden Wouter ervoor dat alles is opgeruimd en netjes werd achtergelaten. Ik zou dit iedereen aanbevelen om een keer te doen, want dit is echt uniek.

Van begin tot eind een ware belevenis. Wouter serveert gerechten een sterrenrestaurant waardig. Hij is heel vriendelijk en kan heel mooi over gerecht en bijbehorende wijn vertellen. Service is zeer goed, tafel wordt prachtig gedekt en alles wordt weer helemaal schoon achtergelaten. Je wordt van begin tot eind in de watten gelegd. Kortom een echte aanrader!

Wouter heeft meerdere malen voor ons gekookt. Elke keer is het weer genieten met een grote G! Verse ingrediënten, smaakvolle gerechten en top service.

Afgelopen zondag zijn we ontzettend verrast door vrienden, met een diner bij ons thuis. Wouter was ingehuurd om voor ons vieren te koken. De tafel was mooi gedekt en we konden direct aan tafel, want Wouter had alles geregeld. We hebben gesmuld. Elke hap van elke gang was een heerlijke smaaksensatie en geserveerd met bijpassende drankjes. Wij hebben lekker kunnen kletsen en tijdens het koken had Wouter alles al weer afgewassen en opgeruimd. Fantastisch, we kunnen het iedereen aanbevelen.

Wouter is een leuke gastheer en een uitstekende kok die zijn vak goed verstaat. Wij hebben genoten van een heerlijke en gezellige avond, heerlijke gerechten en dranken die perfect passen bij de maaltijd. Wat een verwennerij! Dankjewel Wouter tot snel.

Wat een heerlijke ervaring om bediend te worden door de vers bereide gerechten van Wouter. Wij hebben genoten van de verrassende combinaties en de culinaire uitstraling. Alles was tot in de puntjes verzorgd: ook aan de wijn, tafelopmaak en gezellige decoraties heeft Wouter gedacht. Kortom; een aanrader.

Wat een geweldige ervaring. Onze ouders waren 60 jaar getrouwd. We vroegen Wouter van Apol foods om een diner voor hen te serveren. Al het eerste contact was prettig. Wouter luistert en denk mee met de wensen en stelt op verzoek een 3, 4 of 5 gangen menu samen, dat altijd nog aangepast kan worden. Er is echt van alles mogelijk. Het diner zelf is echt een belevenis. De tafel wordt feestelijk gedekt. Wouter is naast een voortreffelijke kok ook nog een sympathieke gastheer. Soepel speelt hij in op de situatie, zoals in ons geval een Zoom proost met de hele familie. Hij vertelt graag en uitgebreid over de gebruikte ingrediënten als je daar, zoals mijn vader, interesse in hebt. Aan het eind wordt alles weer netjes meegenomen, hetzelfde geldt voor de keuken. Kortom, je hoeft maar één ding te doen: heerlijk genieten van een bijzonder diner.

Wouter is een echte gastheer met klasse. Hij kan voortreffelijk lekker koken. Een genot en een beleving en een echte aanrader. En een hele goede service. We hebben al een aantal keer eten bij hem besteld en elke keer is het weer genieten. Een man met passie en dat proef je.

Wouter heeft vanavond een echt feest gemaakt van onze avond. Het eten was zo heerlijk, zo smaakvol en verfijnd en de wijn was zo passend uitgekozen. Echt heerlijk. Wouter is ook een heel prettige gezellige chef kok die van elk bord weer een bord van liefde maakt. Heel erg bedankt voor de fantastische avond 💖

Heerlijk gegeten! Via de site besteld (3 gangen menu en ramen) wat met een duidelijke beschrijving wordt aangeleverd waardoor het makkelijk is om zelf klaar te maken. Wij zullen zeker vaker bestellen bij Wouter!

Wij hebben kortgeleden Wouter als thuiskok ontvangen voor ons veertig jarig jubileum en hij heeft voor ons een heerlijk vier-gangen diner gekookt. Het was ronduit perfect. Dat hij rekening moest houden met diverse individuele diëeten was geen probleem voor hem. We kregen allemaal iets heerlijks voorgeschoteld.
