Great little restaurant with very tasty food and nice selection of wine. Service was also top notch, would definitely recommend 😻

super lovely spot, the fried squash blossoms were out of this world !!! and wine delish. only thing i regret was the oysters - 2 for 8 euro and had an odd sauce. overall loved though!

Really loved this. Clever, crisp, clean, well-executed flavours make deceptively simple looking dishes linger for minutes. Think tangy, herbal, slightly acidic with a nice touch of ferment in most dishes. All very rich but subtle and balanced. Great pairing with natural wines in a laid back atmosphere. Awesome lunch place and they do dinner too. Gorgeous bread (oh that maillard and vinaigrette), oysters with peach/gin granita and tempura greens stood out and that was just the beginning. Gem.

A hidden gem with amazing food and a great natural wine selection. On a sunny day you can swim out front and then enjoy a drink on the terrace. Would definitely recommend!

Enjoyed delicious dishes. Because we wanted to taste as much as possible, we shared dishes. Wonderful wines on the advice of sommelier Romy, who knew exactly what our tastes were like. Such as the delicious Surin from domaine de la taupe. In other words a great evening!!!

What a delicious meal we had! Fantastic help from the great service. Shared a few snacks with a delicious bottle of wine. Definitely recommended if you are in Amsterdam!!

Everything was perfect and the food was delicious! We sat inside because it was raining but the atmosphere was very cozy and we will definitely be back to sit on the beautiful terrace and try out more dishes!

We had an amazing experience! We liked everything. Super nice and friendly service. We were advised very well on the wines especially. Everything we ate was inventive, smart, gourmet and most importantly, delicious. Would definitely come back again!

Lovely hidden gem in Amsterdam for perfect sultry summer evenings with natural wine and great food. Very friendly staff that are ready to help you pick the perfect pairing! Cozy place to sit inside and have the entire menu! Would recommend 100%.

Mixed feelings about this place. The food is quite alright but the portions are rather small. Their website says 38€ pp for 4 courses but in reality it’s 55€. For 55€, you definitely don’t get enough food. The service depends on the waiter: one of them offered wine for tasting before filling the glass, while the second one just went ahead with it. Some of the employees are nice and cheerful, while others are very emotionless and cold. The atmosphere is your typical Amsterdam hipster place.

Natural wines, creative cuisine, good price-quality ratio (for Amsterdam). Not every dish is equally successful, but if you fancy a bit of a culinary adventure, this is the place for you. Also a nice view.

My experience at this restaurant was marked by a number of discouraging aspects that really marred the evening. From the moment we arrived, the owner demonstrated excessive insistence in denying us the opportunity to choose the wine, pressuring us to opt for options that were considerably expensive, suggesting a clear intention to maximize profits at the expense of customer satisfaction. Furthermore, the portion of the wine glasses served was ridiculously small, which leads me to believe that this is a deliberate strategy to profit financially from each customer. Wait times between courses were also noticeably long, leading me to question whether this tactic was used to encourage diners to order more, rather than provide a satisfying dining experience. Although the chefs demonstrated skill in preparing the dishes, poor service management, led by the owner, negatively affected the overall quality of the food. This feeling of disappointment reached its peak at the end of the dinner, when the owner adopted a hysterical and unprofessional attitude by repeatedly questioning our payment method. Her insistence that payment could only be made by card, despite not having clearly communicated This policy when booking online, was extremely annoying and inconsiderate. In summary, my experience at this restaurant was deeply unsatisfactory and, unfortunately, I cannot recommend it to other diners based on my experience. Furthermore, when requesting the bill at the end of the dinner, we found ourselves in the situation that we only had the exact amount in cash to cover the bill. Despite explaining this to the owner, she continued to aggressively question our lack of a working credit card. Their attitude towards us was extremely unpleasant, going so far as to treat us with disrespect and inconsideration. This final experience left a particularly negative impression on us, as it made us feel not only uncomfortable, but also outraged by their lack of professionalism and empathy towards the clients. In short, the way the payment situation was handled was completely unacceptable and only served to reinforce our decision not to recommend this restaurant to others.

Nice restaurant with tasty food. We were there for the fish fest evening. The food tasted good. The wines we tried were also tasty.

tasty snacks, but not a restaurant, despite what they claim, they do not serve main dishes. We left hungry (for our concert at 8pm). Food was good and fresh, but given the small portion very overpriced (€22 for a few leaves or Cale , some nut crumbs and a creamy sauce). There are simply no main dishes on the menu , so you will need to order 3 smaller dishes to get to a nutrition level of a single main dish. That gets pricey very quickly (avg price of a dish is about €16). Staff was doing its best, but forgot about details (like we need to go, and the not coming back to let us pay quickly or forgetting to bring dishes they promised while food was on the table).

The service and the food was one of its kind. You don’t need to look for anything else. They have amazing collection of wines and always smiling personnel. Just great.

Voor ons is het Marineterrein nieuw. Beetje wennen maar redelijke loopafstand van CS is een pre. Apollonia, moderne inrichting. Kleine kaart, vegetarisch, vis en vlees. Veel open wijnen. Redelijke prijsklasse, gerechten heel goed op smaak, kleine porties. Bediening zegt dat shared dining goed mogelijk is, manier van serveren nodigt daar niet toe uit. Ieder krijgt toch een eigen bord. Twijfel tussen 3 of 4 "sterren"; de dames van de bediening maakten het verschil. Dat zijn 2 toppers

We have eaten there a few times now. Apollonia is located in a nice place in Amsterdam. Staff are friendly and know what they are talking about. The atmosphere is informal and cozy. Food is superb and good wine choices. Make a reservation, it is almost always full.

Nice location & vibe, food & drinks were great, but service very slow and arrogant. Attitude of the staff was rude even for Amsterdam standards.

Sa cuisine inventive et moderne est un délice pour les papilles, et le personnel attentionné rend l'expérience encore plus agréable. Bien que la carte soit en néerlandais, cela ajoute une touche d'authenticité à l'ensemble. Une adresse à recommander sans hésitation !

Redelijk beperkte menukaart, maar wel originele gerechten. De menukaart bestaat uit een stuk of 8 'snacks' (zoals het werd genoemd) en 2 'hoofdgerechten'. De snacks zijn lekker, maar echt te weinig om als shared dining bv te eten (wij bestelden met 2 personen 6 snacks om te delen, denk bij snacks aan: de gefermenteerde asperges, brood met paprikaboter, een tartaar van vis etc). De hoofdgerechten waren echter simpelweg niet onze smaak: een bonenschotel of krab. De reden om 3 en niet 4 sterren te geven: simpelweg omdat ik niet nog een keer zal komen. Begrijp me niet verkeerd: de smaken zijn goed, maar ik zou echt werken aan de portiegrootte van de 'snacks' en alles meer geschikt maken voor shared dining en minder laten afhangen van het 'hoofdgerecht'.

Myself and two friends. Just fantastic quality of food, the owner serves at the tables and opens wines to allow you a glass, talks about her food and the results are stunning.

Cozy little place with friendly staff. Had a drink and some nibbles and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. Would recommend to go here for a nice sunny lunch or a drink.

Beetje apart wel, eten goed maar “haute cuisine”, dus liflafjes. Asperges beetgaar, sausjes erg lekker. Rode wijn koud en 8,-€ P. glas, geen wijnkaart, open flessen, die je mocht proeven. Zaten bij deur, die regelmatig open ging , dus koud. Varkensnek “gelakt”, op zich lekker. Knolselderij met geschaafde aardpeertjes en champignonsschilvers, vergrootglas graag. Dessert lekker. Toch voor ons niet voor herhaling vatbaar, het was wel vol, dus wie ben ik?

Maybe my expectations were too high. Good staff though. A 3,5 would have been more suitable. Only natural wines, food was average. Oyster to start with was really good!

Every dish was on point, with surprising flavor combinations that worked really well and had never eaten before. The staff was sweet and very accommodating, one of us has a severe allergy, and they helped us in the best way. Looking forward to coming again!

Cora die ons de wijn adviseerde is super leuk. Eten was fantastisch nog beter zouden iets meer vega opties zijn. Gaat hierheen je krijgt geen spijt.

Enorm lekker gegeten. Heerlijke natuurwijnen en hele vriendelijke service. We konden gelukkig zonder reservering nog terecht met wat gepuzzel. Dat valt extra te waarderen nu je bijna nergens meer spontaan kan aanschuiven.

Hele fijne plek waar je kan genieten van een goed samengestelde lunch en diner kaart! Naast de gerechten wordt vooral natuurwijn geschonken, lekker!

Super vriendelijk personeel. Goed wijn advies. Eten is heerlijk. Weten met een paar ingrediënten een heerlijke vegetarische maaltijd in elkaar te zetten. Omdat gerechten niet tegelijk geserveerd worden en je deelt ze met je tafelgenoten heb je een probleem als vegetariër. Er is maar 1 hoofdgerecht wat vegetarisch is en dat deel je dan met iedereen aan tafel. Gevolg.... daarna heb je niets meer te eten. Dus daar moeten ze nog iets mee. Al met al een heerlijke plek waar je zeker even naar toe kunt gaan.

They have amazing salad or vegetable dishes, which change by the season or i guess what is available. One of my favorite restaurants in Amsterdam. Best salads I’ve ever had! Such a delight!

Niets mis met de kwaliteit van het eten, de ambiance en het personeel. Toch zijn we niet geheel tevreden. In de eerste plaats gaat het bij de diner-gerechten op de kaart om met twee personen te delen porties. Dat hadden we graag geweten voordat we reserveerden. Op de kaart staan 6 diner-gerechten vermeld, waarvan 3 kleinere en 3 grotere gerechten, zo werd ons toegelicht. Wij zijn goede eters, dus kozen we van de grotere 2 verschillende gerechten. De keuze is dus niet ruim. Het eerste gerecht, de gelakte varkensnek met crime di rapa, smaakte uitstekend. De hoeveelheid groente ernaast is echter minimaal. Daarna volgde de zeeduivel met kappertjes en aardpeer. Minstens zo lekker, maar de op de kaart vermelde 350 gram zeeduivel lag zeker niet op de borden. Bovendien bestaat 1/3 deel van de hoeveelheid uit graat. En opnieuw een zeer beperkte hoeveelheid groente. Wij vonden dit de 18 Euro per persoon echt niet waard. Het zoete nagerecht voldeed wel aan onze verwachtingen. Dan de wijnen. De wijnkaart vermeldt een kleine 100 soorten met prijzen per fles. Aangezien wij met 2 personen geen hele fles consumeren, wilden we per glas bestellen. Dat was gelukkig mogelijk, echter niet voor het gehele assortiment. Dat laatste is begrijpelijk, maar dan zou het fijn zijn als de wijnen die per glas te bestellen zijn op de wijnkaart vermeld worden.

Nous avons dîné dans ce restaurant et ça a été une belle découverte. Des plats à partager qui sont tous innovants avec des saveurs subtiles. Beaucoup de légumes cuisinés avec goûts. Une réussite. Je recommande !

The emperor has no clothes. Food really nice, some dishes spectacular. But the wines are horrible, almost without exception. Staff must be well versed in wines because mere ignorance could not have lead to a worse selection of wines - borderline vinegar. If these are natural or organic wines, thank god most restaurants serve wines that are properly treated.

We came here 3 friends for dinner after we read the review in the Dutch newspapers. The menu includes a few snacks, 3 starter options and 3 main courses options - we ordered everything and we loved everything! We never love everything. There’s usually one dish we like more and another we like less, but in this place we couldn’t decide what we loved more. This place is definitely a place we will revisit many more times 😃

Perfecte lunch (ik had een broodje Morbier) op een unieke locatie in hartje Amsterdam. Vriendelijke bediening, geen toeristen en de hele dag zon. Ik kom snel weer terug!

Biologische mama cola is niet voor mij. Het personeel is overigens erg attent en de plek is goed.
