Great food, big portions, worth a visit

Great food, friendly staff, and really fair prices! The price-performance ratio is excellent for Amsterdam. Whether you’re in the mood for a burger or a pizza, everything we tried was delicious and freshly prepared. The staff was welcoming and attentive, and we had a really nice experience overall. Definitely worth a visit when you’re in Amsterdam! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We have been here for some very tasty Bruschetta with a wonderful amount of garlic, delicious Tiramisu and Coffee. Incredibly friendly and fast waiter and an unexpected, very cuddly guest who hopped onto us for some pets. This cute and friendly kitten was very interested in us and could not get enough scratchies and playtime with our scarf. Also very friendly when picked up in case youre not a human and dislike cats. 10/10 would cat again.

The food was delicious, the service excellent, and the best part of the whole experience was Mario, who took great care of us! He's a genius!

We were walking through the streets of Amsterdam and found this fantastic Italian restaurant, ANGELO’s. We started with bruschetta, and moved onto lasagna and risotto. Each dish was flavorful and cooked perfectly! This is literally the best food we have had in the city! Our server, Mario was amazing, attentive and very kind! This is an absolute visit if you are in Amsterdam!

The pizza was a supermarket pizza. It tasted average, but it wasn’t very good. The pasta was okay. The service was good. But all in all, I wouldn’t recommend it.

This restaurant is one of the best in Amsterdam and was the best and most delicious pizzeria we ate at during our entire trip. They offer all kinds of pizzas. I recommend trying the four-cheese pizza. We were very happy with this restaurant and hope they open another location in Italy. 😋😋🍕🍕🍕

Expensive for the quality of the food; it's not worth it at all. A plate of pasta cost almost 20 euros for what it is, and it made us feel terrible; we had a bad night. A large bottle of water cost 7 euros.

We had carpaccio and pizzas, everything was great and the service was excellent.

Unfortunately, the spaghetti with tomato sauce and pizza we ate weren't good at all. The spaghetti was cooked al dente, but the sauce was unpalatable. It lacked flavor and was extremely runny... practically water. I ate the pizza because I'm a good eater, but a quality Italian product is a whole different story. The staff was very friendly.

I'd give it a zero, but Google won't let me. I'm not even going to upload a photo because I didn't even have time to eat. A really rude man approached us after we'd ordered and told us that if we weren't going to pay in cash, he'd cancel our order because they don't accept cards. Seriously? In 2026? And with that awful attitude, too. Awful, 0/10. I'll never go back, not even if they give me the dresser for free. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I would have loved to try the pizzas since I arrived today from Madrid to enjoy this beautiful city, but it turns out that the unpleasant waiter asked me to leave if I wasn't going to pay in cash. I understand if you tell me that your card machine isn't working, but that's the way you address people, totally out of line.

The pasta was rich and flavorful, and the desserts were the perfect finish to the meal. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, making it a great spot for both families and couples. This was, without question, one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve had in Amsterdam. The food was beyond disappointing. The pizza was bland, soggy, and tasted like something made with the cheapest ingredients possible. The tomato soup honestly tasted like it had been poured straight from a can—no freshness, no flavor, and definitely not something you’d expect from an Italian restaurant. The seafood pasta was just as disappointing, lacking seasoning and tasting like it had been reheated rather than freshly prepared. The service was equally poor. We waited longer than expected, no one checked on us, and it felt like the staff simply didn’t care whether we enjoyed our meal. What really made things worse was the restroom. There was no soap or paper towels available to wash and dry your hands, which is unacceptable for any restaurant. I also thought I saw what looked like a mouse near the bathroom area, which was extremely unsettling. I’ve attached photos so others can judge the food for themselves. Do yourself a favor and run away—not just walk away—from this place. There are countless great restaurants in Amsterdam, and this is definitely not one of them. Save your money, your appetite, and your evening. 🤮🤮🤮🤮

Late one evening, we spontaneously visited the restaurant. We were greeted warmly right away. We had originally chosen a table outside, but another waiter asked us to move inside. This was no problem for us, as it was almost midnight. We ordered two pizzas and two Pepsi Cokes. The Burrata pizza and the Pepperoni Diavolo arrived after a short wait. Both were delicious. Unfortunately, the interior ambiance is rather plasticky and not very inviting. However, if you're looking for a well-made and flavorful pizza, La Casa di Angelo in Amsterdam is a great choice.
