This is the best restaurant in town

It was an absolutely beautiful last night at the Netherlands. A perfect ending of our travel with excellent food (pasta) and service. The atmosphere was pleasant, the food well-prepared, and the service was consistently attentive. A recommended option for those looking for quality dining and polite service.

We try pizza 6+ and its the best pizza in my life, dip is fantastic and tiramisu deser great as well 6+. Total is not in scale 6+

Lovely pizza, from an extensive menu. There were some additional topings to what I thought were fairly well known pizzas, but that didn't detract from a lovely calzone.

I absolutely cannot understand the many 5-star reviews here. Perhaps there has been a recent change of ownership? I would at least recommend that potential visitors base their assessment of the restaurant on the 1-star reviews. The pizza was only mediocre and nowhere near what you would expect from a real Italian restaurant. Overall, despite the location, the price/performance ratio was only mediocre at best. The ambiance was uncomfortable, and the drinks were overpriced. The second star is simply to acknowledge the acceptable portion sizes.

We waited a long time for the grill mix to be prepared, and in the end the meat was not tasty. There were no spices and it was undercooked and at the same time tough! ! The pizza was brought quickly and it tasted normal, but nothing special. But paying 50€ for a pizza and a dish that is impossible to eat is not fair

If you have never eaten Italian food, you will not try it here either. The only Italian thing here is the Arab-looking waiter, who is rude. We ordered a grill mix. All the meat was terrible, it was not 100% fresh, I would invite NVWA here so that they could find out whether the meat is stored properly or defrosted after the expiration date. I think the waiter and the chef themselves have never eaten a real steak. And for that kind of money. The price is comparable to Michelin restaurants, but in fact it is durum. Kebab. We returned the meat and received a 30% discount on a dish that we did not eat!!! In the photo is their checkbook

The waiter takes a long time to serve. We ordered meat and potatoes. Terrible, disgusting taste. It smelled really bad, was half raw. We bit off one piece and asked to take it back and redo it, the waiter refused. We paid 25 euros for the meat and of course we paid for everything else, for the drinks. We didn't eat but spent 50 euros.

Don't know how this has 4.7 stars I'm Being generous with the stars I'm giving it. Service was just ok. Starters were basic chicken wings they were breaded with bbq sauce,bruschetta was just alright. I had tortellini it was cold in the middle. The sauce was like what you would put on top of a pizza and the pizza that was ordered was nothing they way it was described on the menu, it was sloppy in the middle and tasteless, got our main served to us while our starter plates were still sitting on the table,over all not great and wouldn't recommend

What a beautiful restaurant, the food was so good, the pizza was so delicious, the waiters were so friendly and we really enjoyed ourselves. The place was very crowded but despite that the food was v. 👌

⚠️⚠️ Beware, price rip-offs! ⚠️⚠️ The prices displayed on the menu are not respected at checkout: each dish and drink is discreetly rounded up to the nearest euro. When you point this out, you're treated to a slapdash... until you pull out the menu and they're forced to admit the rip-off. It's deliberate, clearly not a mistake. (See other comments that have experienced the same rip-off.) Almost €2 difference on the bill for two pizzas, that adds up quickly... While you're being quietly ripped off, other tables—non-French—are treated to smiles, respect, and a carafe of tap water (which was refused to us??!!). Overall, beyond the rip-off, this is an unpleasant place where you could tell you were a nuisance + clearly overpriced for pizzas that aren't as good as those in a supermarket.

Vandaag bij dit Italiaans restaurant met mijn vrouw een pizza met ham en salami en cannelloni met kaas en spinazie gegeten. De cannelloni smaakte prima, maar de pizza smaakte naar niets. In totaal zaten er anderhalf plakje salami en anderhalf plakje ham op. Verder ook erg weinig tomatensaus en kaas. Voor mij helaas de minste pizza en duurste ooit.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and full of charm. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel like family. Every dish we tried was outstanding. The pasta was perfectly al dente, the sauces were rich and full of flavor, and the ingredients tasted fresh and high-quality. I highly recommend the risotto with sea food ☺️it was absolutely divine. We also enjoyed a lovely bottle of Italian wine recommended by the waiter, which paired beautifully with our meal. And don’t even get me started on the tiramisu – light, creamy, and the perfect finish to a perfect meal. If you’re looking for authentic Italian cuisine with genuine hospitality and a cozy atmosphere, look no further. La casa di Angelo is a true gem, and I can’t wait to return!

A very good restaurant, the pizzas and pasta were really good, the service took a long time but the staff is very welcoming. We were even able to reuse the restaurant's restrooms when we came back later. Location on the busiest street in town, next to all the clubs.

Came because of the rating, and ended up disappointed with the pasta pesto chicken. So dry. The pesto was not good. The pasta was hard.

You can really taste the passion behind the food here. The pasta is bold and satisfying, and the pizza is everything a great Italian pizza should be — crisp, flavorful, and made with fresh ingredients💗💗💗

We had pepperoni diavolo and spaghetti gamba's royal, all fit to us. Delicious food and pour wine, also Desperados.

This restaurant is definitely worth recommending. The prices are really good considering it's right in the city center. The food was also very tasty, and the staff was exceptionally friendly. I personally didn't like the restrooms. They were far too small, not particularly clean, and not exactly the most modern. Overall, though, I would go there again and definitely recommend the restaurant.

Good Italian restaurant in the middle of Amsterdam. We had mushrooms to start and a chicken pizza - both very tasty and served in good time. Waiters were helpful and the price isn't very reasonable for the city centre.
