Local, neighborhood bar and restaurant and one of my favs in the city. Really good comfort food, right now they're doing the pies and I've tried 3 so far, all yummy. Good drink selection, chill ambiance, amazing service, and a dj spinning some kind of music most days. Owner is also great, super friendly guy.

We had a very nice evening here; we happened to be there for the pub quiz, and it was really entertaining and fun. The staff is super friendly, and the service is quick. We had burgers for food, which were okay, but there's definitely room for improvement. All in all, highly recommended for a pleasant evening.

We were a group (about 40 people) and we understand that there's a lot of stress, but there were still so many disappointments that I would rate this as my worst restaurant experience because: 1. The music was confusing at first (but it got better) 2. I only got my food after most people had already finished eating due to a mix-up 3. The burger wasn't hot, but only slightly lukewarm, whereas the bread and butter pudding was much hotter 4. The boys' restroom was like a rest stop from 10 years ago 5. The fries were too greasy + the burger (a pool of grease) 6. The wrong knives didn't do the job 7. THE PRICE WAS WAY TOO EXPENSIVE FOR THE QUALITY 8. Lettuce leaves were way too big to eat (I had to cut a lot of them myself) 9. The sauces came in soggy paper cups (though the ketchup was still good) 10. The waiter cleared plates even though you weren't finished eating / or You haven't put everything on it yet. 11. Not large portions. 12. Glasses weren't really clean. +Very nice ambiance. +Staff made an effort and accommodated a large group. +Very quiet. +Easy to reach. I think it's a nice restaurant. If you're a small group, everything might be fine, except for the poor price-performance ratio.

After several bad experiences with different places that had good reviews on Google, we loved this place. We ordered wings to share, which came with various sauces and a delicious little coleslaw, and beef burgers with the best fries I've ever tasted. They also make a delicious homemade iced tea that's not at all cloying like the commercial ones. The place is spacious yet very cozy, close to the riverwalk, perfect for a stroll afterward ❤️

A bit disappointing, the so-called vegan burger was a sandwich with mushrooms that cost €19 on top of that you have to pay extra for fries which were really good. Waiters were really friendly and nice. The vegan brownie dessert wasn’t a brownie was a mediocre chocolate cake and the ice cream came with it was a vanilla not coconut as described in the menu. Overall, food was mediocre minus compare to what you expect when paying these prices, good atmosphere and pleasant staff.

We’ve always loved Feed and have been coming here for years they’ve never let us down. At first, we were a little disappointed to learn they don’t serve their amazing roast dinners outside of winter, but we decided to give the new pies a try instead… and we’re so glad we did! The pies are next level!!!! generous fillings, perfectly baked pastry, and all the sides you’d hope for. Just as comforting as the roasts, but with their own twist. Service is always the best, and the atmosphere is just spot on. And the music! The DJs absolutely nail great tunes that keep the vibe. Feed will always be one of our favourite spots in town, whether it’s the legendary winter roasts, the new pies, great cocktails, perfect wine or just chilling with good music and good people.

Real Australian pies! And bloody good ones, too! The best chips (fries) in all of Amsterdam. And the gravy is full and hearty and true blue. Bloody bonza. They do a fantastic big brekky, too!

Not recommended!!! What a shame! When I see "19" next to a burger, it actually costs €19. When I see "9.5" next to dessert, it actually costs €9.50. When I see "10.5" next to meat pie in the bottom right, it actually costs €10.50 for the meat pie. And two drinks definitely don't cost more than €100... why did we pay almost €150 for everything listed??????? How can this place have such a good rating???? First of all, the meat pie was really meager, and so was the burger. Tasty, well, a bit burnt, at least that's more fitting for the burger. The fries were delicious, though 😋 But seriously, how is it possible that we spent over €140 for two meals, two drinks, and a dessert?????? The prices are clearly stated, or have I missed something???? What a shame!!!!! 😢 ☹️ 😔

I was expecting buttermilk fried chicken from the reviews, but there was only chicken wings as an appetizer. They were ok. They had several meat pies to offer which were good, but not incredible. The staff were most hospitable.

Great place for brunch to keep the party vibe going on Sunday. They even had a DJ. Super friendly and attentive staff. Food came quick. Bloody Mary's were great - had a nice kick. They are supposed to be popular for their savory pies, but we went with one their brunch special (eggs benedict) and a burger. I definitely recommend the eggs Benny. Burger was big and juicy. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Would definitely come again.

We arrived at 8:05pm, and food finally landed at the table at 8:35pm — not terrible, but noticeably slow, especially when we watched another group leave after waiting too long with no food at all. The atmosphere is pleasant at first glance, with music playing in the background and a lively crowd. That said, the noise quickly becomes overwhelming, bouncing off the tarp overhead and creating an echo chamber of people trying to talk over each other. The seating design is awkward — the bench is too deep, leaving you awkwardly leaning forward to eat — and the tables are wobbly and aged, like they were borrowed from someone’s garden. Apple juice: Authentic and fresh-tasting — better than most restaurants — but served in a frustratingly small glass. Not enough to last a meal. Coke: Served in its own chilled bottle with a slice of lemon — average taste, but nicely presented. The beef burger was disappointing. The bottom bun was burnt and stiff, while the patty itself had cooled, like it had been sitting out. Passable, but not great. The chicken burger was unexpectedly spicy and overstuffed with salad, making it difficult to eat — ended up unfinished. The chips were oddly shaped, but actually tasty — probably the best part of the meal. A place with potential, but not meeting it. Between the noise, the missed menu items (the "New Zealand pie" was unavailable), and the hit-or-miss food, it's hard to recommend. Service is slow, presentation is inconsistent, and for the prices, you'd expect more than just some decent chips. Not a disaster, but wouldn’t rush back.

An excellent restaurant, I thoroughly enjoyed it! I wanted to try something original: a portobello burger with sweet potatoes! A great idea: it was delicious! Special mention to the manager and the waitress, both very kind!

Great food, more should know about this place. Great coffee and delicious pies . Though now a bit of a recommendation. The outdoor atmosphere is a bit quiet , there isn’t much foot traffic so it has to be made more inviting , many other cafes around are consistently busy . Suggestion: take a look at the Social Hub and Benjis up the road or those on the Amstel. Social Hub after the pavement refurb they switched up the terrace vibe / decor and it’s super inviting. Tear down the fence/glass wall… it’s a barrier, switch up the outdoor decor to get it a bit more inviting and modernise a bit. There are loads of people around wanting nice places to eat & hang out… pick up those people just walking and biking by.

Get the PIES. Been here a few times but the introduction of Aussie/Kiwi Pies is an absolute gem. Steak & Guinness in particular. Got the Mash and Peas too which were the cherry on top. Pie itself is €9 and with the mash and peas its €16. Great value. Very filling.

This place is soooo good, the food and the pies are amazing, and the place is soooo beautiful decorated and super comfy roomy seats, also the people working there are super friendly, this is my go to spot for some nice food and a cheeky drink after work, 10 out of 10!

This was by far the worst restaurant I've ever been to in my entire life. I ordered a salad, but all I got were three measly leaves. They looked like they'd just been taken out of the organic waste bin, and that's exactly how they tasted. Two pieces of fish were carelessly placed next to the three leaves, and they weren't top-quality either, which is to be expected given the outrageous prices. My taste buds and stomach are permanently traumatized. I'd rather eat nothing but Brussels sprouts for the rest of my life than ever set foot in this place again.

What a great meal. We tried the lamb pies only on their second day of launching the menu. The pie, mash and peas were all perfect. Seasoning, taste bang on. Being from NZ it was a nice taste of home in Amsterdam! 100% recommend!

BEST KIWI LAMB PIE IN THE BUSINESS!!! Came for dinner and absolutely demoed the entire thing! The NZ Lamb Pie with Mash, Gravy and Mushy Peas was genuinely incredible!!! If you’re ever in Amsterdam it’s a must visit!

For our first dinner in Amsterdam (Friday night) we happened upon this pub by chance, because it was close to our hotel and it was a pleasant discovery! We drank some excellent beer and ate a mixed grill of excellent meat with French fries and various sauces. The crispy chicken wings and the caramelized bacon were really tasty! To finish off in style we shared a delicious chocolate brownie. The waiter who took care of our table was very friendly, but at the same time professional and attentive. Highly recommended!!

We had the best night at Feed Amsterdam. It was amazing. It was the pub quiz night. The atmosphere was friendly and entertaining. The music was great. The food was fantastic and reasonably priced. All in all we love going to Feed Amsterdam. The staff were very customer focused always waiting to serve you with a smile. It is a great place to go if you want a really relaxed night out. Food here is ridiculously overpriced. It’s really nothing special but they charge like they are a top location with high kwaliteit food. I pad €22,50 for a Caesar salad (the chicken I added was €6) it wasn’t very good. These are prices I pay in the Beethovenstraat and there at least the quality is amazing. This was more the kind of food you’ll find in a tourist trap. Feels like a scam.

Was staying in a hotel round the corner, but this place is so good, if you are staying on the other side of town, it is definitely worth the visit. From the moment you walk in, you are made to feel welcome. The staff are really friendly and welcoming. We all had brunch each and it was superb! Next time I'm back in Amsterdam, I'm going to try their Sunday roast, because I hear its the best. 😁😁

We visited Feed on a Sunday afternoon. The food was good and the staff friendly and very polite. A special highlight was the DJ, whose music selection created a vibrant yet relaxed atmosphere, enhancing the overall experience.

This is a pet friendly place, we went for brunch The portions are filling and taste good. We had the traditional English breakfast and avocado toast. The expresso martini was refreshing which complements well with the vegan brownie They do have Sunday roast which we havent tried but the experience we had during our brunch surely will bring us back to try them again.

This was our favourite spot in Amsterdam to chill and eat. Great live music, crisp beers and the owner Simon (a fellow Aussie) made us feel right at home. The food was fresh and delicious with everything made in house, the spiced yoghurt raita sauce had a special little flavour twist. The pork belly burger was UNREAL ❤️ We took our friends back for dinner and they made us a platter with bitterballen, fried chicken, ribs and a smoked salmon. I also got an extra spicy, extra dirty (more Worcestershire sauce) Bloody Mary which was perfect. We will be back! It’s a little hidden past Benjis Ooust so make sure you walk the extra 2 minutes and check this place out.

Always got excellent music on, and the food is excellent. The Sunday roast is a force to be reckoned with, comes with ALL the trimmings. Arrive hungry if you’re going for it! The chicken parmy and chicken burger are also delicious. The burger is chicken thigh, so tender and flavoursome. The pub quiz on Wednesday is a laugh (it’s in English), and starts at 7pm €3pp, gets busy so either book or turn up early. A favourite local spot.

Went here for breakfast during ADE. It took over 20 minutes for the coffee to be served. The lunch ended up being much too long. There appeared to be no cutlery and napkins were not provided. We indicated that we did not like this, it turned out to be much busier than expected and understaffed. Feedback was very well received and we received lunch on the house. Very nice compensation. Despite the stress, the staff remained friendly, which I really appreciate! The food was also fine.

Ate for lunch, food was tasty, but waiting times for food/drinks and clearing very slow. Too bad, the food is good, but waiting half an hour for a drink is not to be taken seriously
