Myrabelle bar & restaurant in De Weteringschans

We just came to pick up some food, including croquettes, and waited inside on a stool. We were the only guests in the indoor area at the time. We placed an order with a friendly employee. Then another employee came in, looked at us, and then told her colleague very loudly that she finds it terrible when people sit on the stools here and say they are waiting for a friend, just to use the toilet. She looked straight at us while doing so. Her colleague (who was present during our order) was already trying to steer the conversation in a different direction, but she just continued while looking at us. She probably thought we were tourists who don't understand Dutch (???), but that doesn't make it any more polite. You don't talk like that about people sitting less than two meters away. That is just basic courtesy and customer friendliness. Unfortunately, the "Holtkamp" croquettes were burnt, and it took forever for such a small portion. Too bad; they were almost ready from Holtkamp and only needed to be deep-fried. We had the same Holtkamp croquette earlier at the Albert Cuyp Market, and that one was much better.

Such a cool little bar in Amsterdam. Very small and cozy with stairs that go straight up and down. The food selection is focused but very tasty. I had the chicken satay pictured here and it was very tasty. I can highly recommend this bar if you are in the area!

Such a brilliant atmosphere, the girl who served us was brilliant, food is great and really enjoyed it!

We came and sit outside to drink something. In 2 min The guy came out and said I am closing it was just 9pm. People were drinking outside 😐. I think 🤔 is it because i had a different color then the rest. I hope not that the reason was.

My wife and I sat by the canal and enjoyed it very much. The tall blonde lady working there was very polite, friendly, and did her job well. The sandwiches were delicious and filling, and the prices weren't expensive. It's a very pleasant cafe restaurant where you can sit, relax, and have snacks. I recommend it. Thank you.

Beautiful place and Faron is a very pleasant host to Myrabelle. He is gracious.

The location is super cozy. We only had drinks there but were very satisfied.

It was a lovely summer day, so during our visit to Amsterdam, we decided to look for a terrace for a drink and some snacks. We took a seat at Myrabelle. The super friendly staff were quick to assist us. The menu isn't very extensive, the cuisine is simple, but all three of us chose a different dish. All the food was delicious and of good quality. Definitely recommended!

Very nice service and totally reasonable prices

We ate on the terrace. The young woman who served us took our order, then served us, and came to check if everything was alright. I had a tartine with salad and chicken; everything was fresh and beautifully presented. My son had a burger with fries; it was good and well-presented, and not so easy to find anything comparable in the city. The prices are more than reasonable compared to other restaurants further downtown with higher prices and lower-quality products. Plus, you can enjoy the view from the terrace. We'll definitely go back for a second meal before we leave.

When we visited for first time Amsterdam, we ate at this restaurant twice. The wiener schnitzel was very delicious. It is a nice cosy restaurant with a local vibe and the fact that we sat in the tables near the canals made it even special.

Dropped in here for a quick drink and snack. GREAT atmosphere, cool staff and the food (BLT and bruschetta) was really good.

We ate well, the apple pie was delicious (be warned, you have to like cinnamon)

Been having all sorts of ribs all my life, and never had one flavored like this 😋 I will be first in line if Myrabelle ever decides to sell bottles of the sauce they use for their ribs, it's deliciously sweet, savory, complex. YUM!!!

Staff is very rude makes you feel uncomfortable however our bill was a big bill and we ordered lots of food and drink still they don’t appreciate and makes you feel unwanted

Great place,cosy ambiance and with super friendly ( the best😉 ) staff. Food is absolutely delicious. Everything I ordered so far did not dissapoint. Definitely coming back here.

We ordered ribs, oh my god, it was soooo delicious, meat melted in our mouth, like honey. You have to try it! Waiter was friendly and professional and active and the service was very quick. One of the best experience in Amsterdam.

A great place for beer and snacks. There's seating by the canal and outside. Everything we ate was delicious. Prices are average. Draft beer (50cl) is 8 Euros.

What a lovely cafe! We were there for the first time last week, but after moving from Berlin to Amsterdam, it's become our regular spot, and it's just around the corner. Excellent service, friendly staff. The food was also delicious (fish and chips). Marvie (see photo) was also very welcoming and definitely child-friendly. Marvie feels at home there. Thanks! Marvie has been coming by "daily" since the end of March/beginning of April.

Nice place, very friendly environment, good service, good beer and tasty burger

Very mediocre, the staff (a man with a tattoo on his chest and an open shirt) chases people away. He calls us "farmers" because we're sitting at the table near the entrance. He can't stand a little joke. We're immediately approached angrily... such a shame.

They have run out of fresh mint so we couldn’t enjoy a fresh mint tea, but otherwise everything was perfect and the fish chips were fantastic. The atmosphere is cosy, a typical brown cafe, I would say.

Myrabelle Bar & Restaurant is one of those places that make you slow down and just take in Amsterdam. It sits right on the corner of Prinsengracht and Weteringstraat, so you’ve got the canal on one side and a steady stream of life passing by on the other. Perfect spot for a beer or a glass of wine while watching boats drift past. The staff are genuinely warm, and the place has that cozy, local feel — not touristy at all. Food’s a pleasant surprise too; you can easily turn a quick drink into a full dinner here. A true neighborhood gem.

I dont know what kind of shitshow are you lot running over here, but check my bill (picture attached). 8€ pint of Heineken(hello? Heineken?) 12€ pint of (generic) draft blonde beer .... Did I forget to say the waiter threw a beer on my friend's lap and only reluctantly agreed to give another one for free? Awesome experience overall 👎

This is a great pub with some really good food. Me being a typical brit had fish and chips button know what it was brilliant. Bar staff was excellent and introduced me to bols, ohh yes👍

Everything was great. We had the traditional fish and chips. Delicious. They have a delicious Heineken on tap.

This place has really good drinks and service

The name threw us off a bit; we've lived in Amsterdam for years but thought it was a pizzeria or something. BUT: This is almost nonexistent; a real cafe, nice inside and outside, and... service that was normal in the last century and now exceptionally friendly. See you soon! Ron & Heidi

Very good food, delicious burgers and ribs. The steak in the burger was well cooked and thick. The ribs were soft and tender with four different sauces to dip them on. The marinade on the ribs was especially tasty. Good fries came with both. The service was lively, fast and professional. The outside is unfortunately loud due to pedestrian crossing, but the inside was calm. All in all, a very good experience and I recommend the food of Myrabelle restaurant.

This is a bar restaurant at a great location in the heart of the city with unexpectedly great food. The kitchen staff has a well established menu that is fresh, tasty and with attention to detail. The bar offers great drinks and a friendly staff. It is at a canal area with ample seating and scenery.

For the price you couldn’t ask for anything more. Absolutely fantastic!

Excellent location, and food is really really good.

We stopped by here to try traditional bitterballen and to sit by the canal. We had the veal bitterballen and the cheese croquette. Both were very tasty and quite fresh. We enjoyed them tremendously. The canal view was nice and the service was friendly.

We came whilst on a city break visit, the gentleman that served us was very polite asked what language we spoke and made us feel very welcome. The service was brilliant and the food was lovely and the canel view was a bonus. Would definitely recommend to anyone that visits Amsterdam !!

We were there at lunchtime and tried the red fish soup of the day, we liked it.

No attention at all for new customers, was very quiet and sat on the terrace for 10 minutes. Waiter comes by to pick up glasses at another table and does not come by to take order. Left after 10 minutes. Disgrace and bad service

Had the ginger beer and it was the best I've ever had. So delicious!!!!!

Friendly manager, simple but good and fresh food.

There is a bald owner/ waiter in this restaurant who doesn’t have basic etiquette’s on how to address his customers. Maybe the other staff members need to train him on how to speak. Please realize this attitude of yours will not take you anywhere as there are thousands of bars better than yours in Amsterdam. The only 2 stars I am giving is for the other two servers in the restaurant who were very sweet.

Super welcoming staff! The waiter even spoke our language a little bit, the food was delicious, it's a perfect place!

Went here yesterday with my friends from Finland. Big compliment to the kindness of the waiter who helped us. He gave us a very warm welcome, he even knew a few words of Finnish. The lunch was delicious, the atmosphere was relaxed.

Super chill place in front of a canal and with a typical Dutch decoration with the typical menu of fried things and potatoes, but delicious and filling

Staff was friendly. Bar was very clean including the Restrooms. Was a good place to rest our feet and warm up.

The owner was incredibly rude. Was very dismissive of us. We felt as if it was because we are tourists but my friend who is also Dutch says he is rude to customers.

Bad horrible rude energy. Will never recommend this place to anyone in the world.

Can’t comment on the food but drinks were a fair price, staff were very pleasant and helpful, bar had a really nice ‘buzz’. Sat outside under the heaters and watched the world go by.

Nice brown café, chill atmosphere. You sit very comfortably and the bitterballen are delicious! The gin and tonic here is also really great. Thumbs up.

My favourite bar in Amsterdam. Quirky and wonderful.

Amazing little cafe just off the beaten path. The chicken satay was incredible and the service was great. There are seats inside and outside with two cozy little patios to choose from. Myrabelle is just outside the main tourist area but close enough that you can easily walk there. Also, it's on the way to the museums so worth a visit if you need a beer and some food after enjoying some art or history. One last thing, the prices here are a little below the main tourist area so that was a nice bonus!

Finally a real pub again. Cozy, cozy, and good beer.

Stopped here for a glass of Jenever and some cheese. Perfect place to people watch, and lovely staff and ambience in general.

I was hoping to get a nice drink with my girlfriend on a sunday afternoon but the waitress was so unwelcoming that we didnt even bother looking at the menu and left. Such a nice place wish such bad customer service is a shame

Las costillas son de las mejores que he comido hasta la fecha. ( 2nd only to Cape Town ) . Los propietarios muy educados y amables sirvieron la comida rápida y profesionalmente. Ninguna petición era demasiado problema. Gracias. Sin duda recomendaría a todo el mundo llamar a la cafetería Myrabelle para comida y bebidas realmente sabrosas.
