Vandaag netjes gereserveerd om 18:45 beneden was vol waar we meestal zitten. Mochten werden naar boven gestuurd wat helemaal leeg was. Of we mochten even wachten tot er plek vrij was beneden dan konden we wel plaats nemen. 1e Tafel vrijgekomen na 10min kregen we te horen dat die tafel voor eigenaar is. 2e tafel vrijgekomen paar minuten daarna zeiden ze die is voor gasten van eigenaar. 3e tafel vrijgekomen opeens was die ook voor de gasten van eigenaar. Manager gesproken krijg ik te horen dat ze NIET met voorkeuren werken maar ondertussen WEL met voorkeur voor de inner circle zelf of bepaalde gasten. Ik heb gevoel dat hier selectie is op basis van geslacht. Omdat wij mannen zijn geeft dat blijkbaar niet echt voorkeur voor de uitstraling van deze tent. Beetje rare gang van zaken. Dus BOYS als je dit leest voortaan ergens anders eten want anders beland je op 2e ring.

Horrible experience! everything was beautiful but the food was spoiled! I feel very bad for 3 days. Sushi infected with anise larvae, salmonella, anisakiasia and worms. my blood pressure dropped. I visited Aqua Asia already twice and really enjoyed it! The Asian food was super tasty – you can tell they put a lot of care into it. The sushi was amazing, especially the Red Dragon roll, which was definitely my favorite. The vibe was nice and the place looks great, but the only thing I didn’t love was that the tables were a bit too close to each other. Still, I’d totally go back!

We recently had dinner at Aqua Asia twice. On our first visit, the evening unfortunately did not go as hoped: an innocent incident occurred with the waitress, which understandably caused an awkward situation. This made us want to leave the restaurant early. Although it is human to make mistakes, in such cases it is mainly about the way in which a situation is remedied. What really counts is the ability to take responsibility and demonstrate genuine service. The owners of Aqua Asia have been extremely professional in this regard. They have repeatedly apologized and invited us to come and enjoy dinner at another time, entirely on their initiative. During our second visit we were received very hospitably and we had an excellent evening. The food was of exceptional quality, the atmosphere refined and the overall ambiance impressive. There was really nothing to complain about; every detail was correct. We would therefore like to emphasize that negative reviews, in which this restaurant is awarded only one star, are, in our opinion, unfounded and perhaps even unjust. We urge future guests not to be influenced by such reviews. The people behind Aqua Asia are sincere, professional and do everything they can to provide their guests with a high-quality experience, even when something goes wrong.

We thoroughly enjoyed every single dish. Everything was freshly prepared and tasted delicious, with no waiting time at all. The ingredients were fresh and of excellent quality. Great attention to detail in the interior. My favorites were the California Roll, the Truffle Fries, and the Japanese-style Crêpe. Definitely a place we’ll return to! 👍🏻

My family had a good experience here. Ordered a variety of food from sushi to lobster to edamame. Everything was good. We were also checked up on by our server and the chef to see how everything was. On top of that we were able to get a picturesque view of Erasmus bridge from the outside. I wouldn’t mind coming back here again if we ever swing by this way.

Food was meh. They better change their name to aqua mocro. The audience that comes here is really shameful. Moroccans wearing caps, sunglasses and sweatpants were allowed in. (Tip: make the food much more expensive, so that most of this audience disappears) Then I made a reservation a week in advance and they had no place downstairs. Staff immediately gave a stupid answer "yes if you make a reservation it is not for upstairs or downstairs" 2 seconds later someone else was placed downstairs. Staff and service really bad, not customer friendly and you have to search for the staff yourself. I won't come here anymore.

Went on both a Thursday and a Saturday evening. Have never felt more ignored at a restaurant...it took us almost 20 minutes for a host to even speak to us even though we had a reservation and the restaurant was half empty. The food was good but the service was severely lacking and both the servers and the hosts were extremely inattentive. Came back on a Saturday night to give it another chance and had an even worse experience. The food was inconsistent, and when we brought it up to the server that our starter looked way different then when we ordered on Thursday, they first tried to gaslight us into saying we ordered something different, and then admitted they were wrong and said that the chef was different that night so it must be it. They also let a very large and noisy party loiter at the bar and interrupt other patrons meals. Food was ok but definitely not anything special and you can get similar quality elsewhere for a better price and much better service.

I always love the food here, ofcourse the dynamite shrimps are amazing and also great sushi. The meat can be good, be aware they serve quite small portions of meat ofcourse and it can be expensive. Came here many times, never been dissatisfied. Easy parking underneath the restaurant and easy to reach. They have an elevator, so no problem with a wheelchair for example.

I come here often and have always been satisfied with both the service and the food. However, today it was disappointing for me. Extremely bad service. Waitresses don't even look at you because they are busy with other orders. There are few staff and we waited 15 minutes for a waitress. but the restaurant is completely full. In addition, I was given a table at the very back and to prevent this I made a reservation 2 weeks in advance. For the amount you pay, you really expect better service. Of course, that's not how you treat your employees because they are also under enormous work pressure. In the end we didn't eat dessert either and left.

Locale trendy, cucina fusion, servizio decisamente eccellente. Situato di fronte al fiume, il ristorante è un posto in cui si cena in un ambiente Lounge, con musica e dj set di sottofondo, ottima cucina misto thai, jappo, fusion. Camerieri e personale gentile ed efficiente, professionale ma simpatico ed accogliente, cibo decisamente sopra la media. E poi…. Cocktail molto ben fatti, si vede la mano esperta del barman. The food was mediocre and definitely not worth the price. Anyone who spends money here for the second time apparently does not value quality or service. Waste of money!

Everything 5 stars! I had read a few negative reviews, but visitors certainly shouldn't worry about that. I didn't see any strange types at all, it was a luxurious atmosphere, whatever you expect. Delicious food and super friendly service (from a boy with curly hair who certainly deserves compliments). This was certainly the tastiest sushi I have eaten in Rotterdam, and we have been almost everywhere. Highly recommended.

During the time we ate the 5-course dinner, the tables around us changed guests 3 times. Highly incorrect Gucci/hoodie/North face content. Guests keep their coats on and phones in their hands while eating. Lobsters are being eaten as if we were at McDonald's. Bad vibes here and bad money. Classy restaurant with bad guests. After Googling 'best sushi Rotterdam', Aqua Asia Club was named 'best'. We arrived early at 5:30 PM and were immediately told that we should be ready by 8:00 PM at the latest. I don't think that is a problem, as long as it is indeed told. At the same time, I think 'if you just do your job as a restaurant, you should be able to offer guests a top dinar experience in 2.5 hours'. The restaurant looks nice and nice. Service fine. Food wasn't bad... But with 'food was not bad', that's enough to say, the food was indeed not bad, but it was also seriously meaningless, the same flavors, all sushi rolls taste the same, salmon, eel, crab or shrimp, everything resembles each other, but the prices are HUGE. The same goes for the desserts. Dessert Coconuts was really boring, coconut milk with coconut ice cream and whipped cream for 14EUR. We then had to do our best for more than 20 minutes to get the bill, trying to get the attention of several employees, then an employee who said he would get the bill and then he didn't come back... All in all, I think the quality of food and service is NOT in proportion to the price paid...

I had high hopes for Aqua Asia for New Year's Eve, especially as I had flown friends from Vienna and specially reserved a table. We were told in advance that we would have to pay €50 per person just for the venue and “entertainment,” which meant that food and drinks would be charged separately. We paid this neatly and hoped for a fantastic evening. Upon arrival we were sent to the second floor, which immediately felt strange. We were seated in a tight corner with no decent space to move our chairs, and our view was of a coffee machine, an elevator, and cleaning supplies. Meanwhile, the real fun was downstairs, where all the entertainment took place. It felt like we were left out of the atmosphere and were just spectators at a party we weren't really a part of. We asked several times if we could move downstairs, but were denied without any explanation. This largely ruined our evening. Despite our best efforts to make something of it, it was hard to enjoy it when you could see how nice it was downstairs, while we were tucked away in an area that is not normally part of the restaurant. We asked to speak to the manager, but he was downright rude. He didn't listen to our complaints and tried to end the conversation quickly. When we asked for a partial refund, as we had not experienced any of the promised entertainment, we were told this was not possible. In the end we only got four drinks for free, which definitely didn't make up for the disappointment of the evening. My advice: don't look forward to visiting Aqua Asia, especially if you don't have the 'right connections' or don't seem rich enough. The staff just seems to push you aside. For us, the bill of over €400 was definitely not worth the money. This was the first and last time I will spend my New Year's Eve here.

What a disappointing experience at Aqua Asia on New Year's Eve. We paid €200 just for the entrance for 4 people, excluding food and drinks. This amount was supposedly for entrance and entertainment, but that was far from the case. We were placed at a table upstairs where we didn't see any of the entertainment at all. I had explicitly indicated via email that we wanted a nice table, which understandably cannot be guaranteed, but we were one of the first to arrive and were immediately tucked away upstairs. When we asked if we could sit downstairs, we were refused without any explanation. On what basis is that classification made in the first place? To make matters worse, tables became available downstairs later, but the staff wouldn't let us move. Only after several complaints was a singer sent upstairs at 10:30 am, while we had been there since 7:00 pm. By then the evening was largely ruined. We indicated that it is not fair to charge people upstairs the same as downstairs, since you don't get anything from the atmosphere and entertainment upstairs. A partial refund was apparently out of the question. As "compensation" we received 4 drinks on the house. The manager was downright rude and even compared the situation to a movie theater, where you can't just move. But in a cinema you can choose your own seat if you are there on time, which we were. In short, we had a very stupid and expensive New Year's Eve at this restaurant. Not worth the money at all.

DO NOT GO TO AQUA ASIA FOR THE HOLIDAYS!!! We went in a group especially to Rotterdam on New Year's Eve to celebrate the new year at Aqua Asia. 50 euros per person entrance fee and on top of that all the food and drinks that we would order is an expensive evening, but because Aqua Asia managed to sell the event so well and made so many promises regarding the entertainment, we chose them anyway. . Once we arrived we were placed at the top of the restaurant next to the bar with a view of cleaning products and a garbage bin. We didn't hear ANY of the entertainment and the party that was apparently going on downstairs all evening. We weren't the only ones who thought this as everyone around us was scrolling on their phones the whole time because it was so incredibly boring. Asked for the manager and got a regular employee disguised as a manager at the table who had no idea what to do. In the end we had a scary little man at the table who turned out to be the “boss”. It was not easy to talk to at all and the feedback we gave was also not welcome, the gentleman would remember it for next year but at a quarter to 11 he came to indicate that we had to go outside for the fireworks. Thinking and arithmetic therefore turned out not to be his strongest subject. The hope that he would take the feedback into next year was therefore far from being found. Another table was not possible, money back was not possible, part of our money back was not possible, but arguing with us at the table was possible for the gentleman. In the end we got 4 ridiculous drinks for free and a manager who forced the singers to stand next to us at the top so that we could experience some of the atmosphere. We could barely last 5 hours there because the program was that long folks…. Ultimately it turned out to be the case that there were also other people who did not have a reservation (while it was supposedly full) and did not have to pay or did not want to pay the entrance fee of 50 euros! To top it all off and a real introduction to the new year, we were stopped at the door to leave and asked to show proof whether we had really paid... After I showed Mr. the mints in my bag that you so kindly receive after payment, we were allowed to go. Having paid more than €400 for a lousy evening and incredibly poor customer service, I would rather swim from Rotterdam to Amsterdam to eat at the first available FEBO than come back here. Do you want to go to Aqua Asia for New Year? Then make sure you bring board games before you succumb to the non-existent atmosphere and entertainment.

We were there for exactly 1 hour, it cost €241 and we are now eating in the food halls to satisfy our hunger. Food was served in a rush. As soon as our meager plate was empty, we were asked if we wanted another dessert. I've come here before, but what I experienced tonight was incredibly bad. Tonight's waitresses were very rude and unprofessional. We ordered a lot with 3 people, but the new dishes were placed on old plates and to top it all off, we had to leave immediately after paying because the table was reserved for the next person. The food is also not very good anymore. For this price range you can eat almost anywhere, so I will never, ever come here again. For such a restaurant you can really expect some service.

Aqua Asia is my go-to for special occasions, and it never disappoints! The service is always excellent; the staff are attentive and really make you feel welcome. The food is delicious and there is a wide choice of dishes, which provides something new every time. The cocktails are also great and go well with the dishes. With the beautiful view over the Rotterdam skyline and the cozy atmosphere, this is the perfect place to enjoy an evening out. In short, Aqua Asia remains a must for those looking for good food, good service, and an attractive setting!

We came here regularly, but last week was the last time. People in tracksuits, caps, strollers, children running around, this scares me. It's supposed to be a classy place in a beautiful location but this really ruins it. I would rather go somewhere else where I pay the same price and it is luxurious than sit here again. The food is amazing, but it happens every time we go, they make a mistake with our food. Last time they forgot our food, every time we asked they said its on their way, after 40 minutes they realised they forgot about half of our food. Apologized thats it. There staff is polite, but really looks like they don’t want to be there. It seems that they work really hard. We were sat upstairs with such a beautiful view & about 20 people were sitting upstairs & there was only ONE waiter. Everyone was waiting so long, they forgot our food & the food of people next to us, they also got visibly upset. It took a while for us to get our menu & to order, which was a bit annoying, also they kept making mistakes on which table ordered which dish. It happend like 4 times, they brought champagne to us, but it was for another couple, also happened with food they brought to other tables that was supposed to be for us lol. The food makes it better, but it should not be that chaotic for such a good restaurant. Overall food is amazing view is amazing, honestly the staff is very nice, it just seems like they have more responsibility than they’re able to manage especially the servers!

And then you get a table in the far corner of the place. Where you are neither seen nor heard. We asked for certain drinks. 35 minutes after we entered the parking garage we had food worth 350 euros on the table. Sushi, starters, main courses, everything is thrown on the table in no time. If you ask if this is normal, the waiter answers: nice, isn't it... The clumsy lady serving dropped her tray behind me, got a Coke in my neck, shirt wet. No excuses nothing. We lived next to Aqua Asia for years and spent many evenings here. In fact, in the beginning we brought in a lot of friends and acquaintances. Haven't been there for a while, drove an hour there (we moved) but I spent longer on the road than inside. Moreover, the quality of the food has deteriorated significantly. Too bad, but perhaps this is part of the new food culture that appeals to many people from the north of Africa. Family yam I think it is a great pity that such a beautiful business has fallen into the enormous mediocrity that Rdam has to offer.

Echt alles aan onze avond was perfect, als ik 6 sterren kon geven had ik het gedaan, de bediening was vriendelijk, attent en heeft kennis van zaken. I am a regular guest here, both for business with my valued customers and privately. I am ashamed of the service offered to business clients lately. Although I am convinced that the waitresses do their best, the approach is sometimes far from professional. Some ladies come across as rude and lack a professional attitude. The gentlemen in the team, on the other hand, leave a much better impression and do show professionalism. It sometimes seems as if the waitresses themselves are conducting a kind of “evaluation” by repeatedly asking if I want to order anything else, even after I have indicated several times that we are ready. This does not feel good, especially when I have customers there. have. All in all, it gives me the impression that the customer's wishes are not being listened to enough. The table is also regularly left without plates or soy sauce, which means I have to ask for missing items myself. This way of serving does not feel attentive. Considering the prices I would expect a higher standard of service. Staff would benefit from training in customer friendliness and attentive and focused service. There is little eye contact, and it seems as if they would rather hide behind walls than actively make contact with the guests. This lack of engagement is notable and disappointing.

On est allé en famille: très joli restaurant et belle vue. Pour la cuisine bon rapport qualité prix pour les gyozas, nouilles, viande poulet, tandis que porc aux champignons et magret très bon mais un peu cher / qte. Dessu du red dragon trop cher et rien d’exceptionnel. Less s desserts trop cher et pas très bons, sauf les mochi qui tenaient la route. Coquille saint Jacques très très bon un peu piquant.

A restaurant in which a surprising number of young people can be found. A trendy bar where Insta stories are created. Beautifully located directly on the Meuse, with large panoramic windows. Here the lounge music played too loud for our liking. The store was one of the few where you could still order food after 10 p.m. Very courteous staff, good food, but quite expensive for the size of the portions. The worst restaurant I've ever been to. The only nice thing was the location and the decor, in a restaurant with such prices you can expect good service, this was certainly not the case, talk unprofessional and do not ask if everything is to your liking. You don't have to do it for the food either, bland soup with a few leaves in it and boring sushi which is even better than the average all you can eat. You may also have to wait a very long time for it even though it was very quiet. Then you think that is all, but there is also a grim atmosphere and the entrance resembles an emergency exit.

We had a fantastic lunch at Aqua Asia. The food was truly delicious, with some dishes that really stood out. The scallops with gratin sauce were excellent, highly recommended. The beef cubes were wonderfully tender and the sushi was fresh and delicious, as you would expect from a top-class restaurant. The service was also excellent. We were served by two very friendly ladies and a host who regularly came to ask if everything was to our liking. Their attention and care added to the wonderful experience we had. Aqua Asia is a place where you will be completely pampered not only culinary, but also in terms of hospitality.

Went here for dinner, nice, beautifully decorated tent. We had been there on a beautiful sunny afternoon and had dinner on the terrace. It was still quite empty. But enjoyed the beautiful view and ate sushi. I think it's expensive for what you get today that they don't get 5 stars. Most of it is also on the menu at an all you can eat. It's mainly the hype of what the restaurant looks like on the inside I guess. but I thought the rest was average. service was good.

We kwamen hier bij toeval terecht. We zagen het vanuit de watertaxi en hadden zin in sushi. Ik kijk altijd eerst naar de recensies maar deze keer niet aan toe gekomen. Maar goed ook want dan waren we niet gegaan. Schrok achteraf van de slechte recensies. Wij hebben hier echt fantastisch gegeten. En de bediening was super vriendelijk. Heerlijke verse sashimi, sushi en de lekkerste zeebaars ooit op. Heerlijk op het terras gezeten. Wil dit toch even gezegd hebben gezien de slechte recensies. Het is niet goedkoop maar zeker betaalbaar. Zeker voor de kwaliteit die ze serveren. Van de sfeer en het publiek wat er komt moet je houden. Maar wij hebben echt niks negatiefs te melden over het personeel en of het eten.

I had a nice meal, but I think it was overrated and way too expensive: 4 pieces of sushi for 11 euros and then 4 pieces of rack of lamb for 20 euros and then your meat is a bit bigger than a 2 euro coin (see photo). That's Mr. Jackie chan standing next to you very impatiently. Food was good, don't get me wrong, but I'm almost certain that, apart from the Wagyu, you can also find everything on their menu in an all you can eat (for example dining in Rijsbergen or Roosendaal) I have also seen people order a Tomahawk, but then there is no garnish, so you have to buy fries

Unfriendly, too young and inexperienced staff and too expensive prices for simple, basic sushi. I don't know what the owner/owner is looking for and the target group, but the audience, service and food are no longer what they were. On Friday and Saturday evenings it looks more like a well-known Amsterdam street than a restaurant, the more scantily dressed the better it seems. It's scandalous what's happening there. Too bad for such a beautiful location.

Aqua Asia in Rotterdam is highly recommended! The restaurant offers a breathtaking view over the Erasmus Bridge, which creates a unique and attractive ambiance. It's the perfect place for a night out. The food was excellent. Each dish was beautifully presented and the flavors were delicious and well balanced. The sushi in particular was of exceptional quality. The cocktails were great too - creative, refreshing and perfectly mixed.

A night out. At Aqua Asia it is only 2 hours. We had reserved a table for 6:45 PM and were immediately told that we had to leave at 9:00 PM. That means being welcomed hospitably. Then the food: "Shared dining". The way to maximize your guests' costs with super small dishes. Dishes between €15 and €25 with little to share because you put them in your hollow molar. Around 8:00 PM we are once again reminded of the fact that we really have to leave at 9:00 PM. Then we just had one round of "Shared dining mini snacks". Then the bill: had to pay over €425. Then we cycled to a chip shop to eat something extra. Advice: avoid this tent. Oh yes, around 8:30 PM the music turns up loud and you can no longer hear each other.

Beautiful restaurant, nice chairs, no problems with guests next to you. Food very meh, warm rice with cold sushi, hot dishes were cold. Especially very tasteless and flat, where are the flavor explosions? The service was terrible, grumpy, not dressed properly (just dirty clothes), our neighbors were very important, but we had to ask for a new drink or new order every time. I will definitely not come back here again, for this price I really expect better.

First time eating here, super nice casual fancy restaurant. People talk about people in sweat suits and slippers but not a single person in those clothes, mainly in casual suit and fancy dress. We were also dressed in a smart suit and a long fancy dress with casual open heels. Delicious meals and great service. Was my glass empty? They were quick. Empty plates? So gone! To eat; We had the Blackpepper tenderloin, Australian wagyu steak, thick noodles and mushrooms (they were so tasty, definitely recommended). The noodles have a lot of vegetables, so they are definitely recommended for vegetable lovers. For desserts a Cho cho (glass) and a Bananarama (plate). We certainly liked the food, I have no idea what people are complaining about in the reviews, on public holidays you just have to wait a little longer to know which days you are going. We went on a 'regular' Tuesday, we were here for our anniversary. Service was fast, everything was brought at the same time. There were 2 of us instead of 8+ people. Atmosphere was, like most 'on the water' restaurants, reasonable. We were mainly looking at a cruise, which is very beautiful, but not everyone's perfect view. The cruise leaves after 8 p.m. Keep an eye on; like most fancy restaurants, if not all, the portions are small and definitely worth ordering a side like noodles, rice, mushrooms on the side.

We got our table at 8:50 PM. The menu card arrived quite quickly and the waiter asked if we wanted a bottle of water that we had ordered. Afterwards we were not spoken to for half an hour and never received a bottle of water. Asked twice if we could order, to which the response was "we will come to you shortly". After asking twice if we could be helped and waiting for half an hour, we left. Very disappointed in the service. In the meantime, I had called 108 on the Meent to see if we could still have dinner with them at 9:30 PM, since it was a 10-minute drive. Fortunately, we were welcomed there with open arms and they still gave us a nice Easter Monday.

My recent dining experience at Aqua Asia Club left me with mixed feelings. While there were highlights, some aspects fell short of expectations. 1. However, the music veered toward nightclub vibes, which clashed with our desire for a refined dining experience. Pathetic, we choose the 5 course menu (75 euro) but there was really nothing special. One course were lamb skewers, just served as 2 small lamb skewers, nothing else on the plate. Sushi were not fresh, probably prepared in the morning. Main course was a pathetic display of some timy beef cubes and salmon, served with some fried rice. The salmon had exactly the same sauce as the lamb. Vegetables were not served with any course. Desert would have fitted well in a Van der Valk hotel 25 years ago. Just the cherry was missing. This place is suffering from it own success, looks like people will come anyhow. The view is still great, atmosphere also nice, but can be loud, not only because of the music.

Management sucks. Are super grumpy. Made a lot of mistakes. Went with 9 people. Two people were served their main course on 1 plate well in advance. We had to separate the dishes ourselves. Until the rest received their main courses, the two people had already finished the dish. They were not served at the same time. Food was served incorrectly, causing 1 person to be left behind with their food. The entire experience was taken from us. The moment you mention this to the staff, they respond nonchalantly with the comment that nothing went wrong. The manager has been spoken to about this. With the apology we were told that they have a large kitchen and that they have no supervision over what is served. This does not make sense. They do not take complaints seriously. As a courtesy, a few cups of coffee were deducted from a €480 voucher. Not taken seriously at all.

Had super bad service with 8 people eating together. No idea what I went through. Super hip and just rubbish. They all sit there looking at each other and eat their food one by one. One person didn't get their food and then only wrong things we got. In short, avoid. Better go to a kebab shop. At the end we were corrected with 2 free coffees for 8 people. It's a shame I cannot give zero stars to this "food"🤢. Ordered a delivery. The sauce was watery and there was so much of it that overcooked rice and noodles were drawning there. The beef was overcooked and tasted like rubber. Same goes for mushrooms, they tasted like they've made of plastic. The vegetables looked like they died a week ago and still were cooked afterwards. Advise: order it for your date if you wanna never see them again. Not a wok, but a "not ok" experience! Our trash bin enjoyed it though.

I ate here twice. The first time, not so good with stir fried noodles. The second time, highly recommend this combo: sushi rice, salmon, crab sticks, seaweed salad, mango mayo, nori seaweed, pickled ginger, and sesame seeds. The combo is fresh. Don’t forget to add more pepper by yourself to help balance yin and yang! (I found that rice is better than noodles here) You can have some extra cookies and candies on the dish next to pepper and salt on the left side of the order counter. The service guys are friendly. Waiting time depends on different days.
