I have been coming to this restaurant for years, but I feel the quality has gone downhill fast now. I didn't enjoy the meal; the tuna salad smelled sour, 38.50 pp, and it wasn't the quality we were used to. Malakka, do something about it. A table for 2 people next to a group of 15 people isn't practical either.

The food was good, the shop looks clean, and the staff were generally friendly.

I visit this area regularly, but I had actually never noticed this restaurant before, haha. What a surprise! I haven't eaten such delicious curry prawns with green beans in ages; they were truly super flavorful. The sushi was also of good quality and fresh. There is a wide selection of wok dishes, and the dessert buffet is very tasty too. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of everything. The restaurant has a nice concept and a quiet, pleasant atmosphere, allowing you to sit there truly relaxed. It wasn't overly busy either, and the staff is incredibly friendly. My compliments!

Favorite all-you-can-eat. I am the pickiest eater you could have in the house! Fortunately, Malakka is improving more and more! 8 out of 10 times I eat there, I can say that everything is good (hot items, griddle, and wok). The atmosphere is always positive, and the staff act quickly when refills are needed. The only minor downside is that there are sometimes lines at the griddle. TIP* Don't force yourself to watch the griddle as if it were a competition; as soon as the line is over, you have plenty of time to go. Shout out to the chefs too. Niiii ​​hao

The atmosphere is nice and cozy, this is definitely recommended for families. The staff is truly amazing. They are neat, polite, and hygienic. The chefs are truly fantastic👍 The buffet is excellent, with plenty of choices. And the same goes for sweets. It's fun for the kids; they can grab a little and eat, and then they can walk around again, which makes it easier for them to endure it. So it's also great for the little ones; my children thoroughly enjoyed it. It's easy to get to, and there's plenty of parking. And it's not often I experience clean restrooms, and there they were. Hats off! I had a great time there.

It's stated verbally that it's halal, but you can't see it on their website. Pork is served. So the combination is incorrect. The pork is mixed with the vegetables. Where there's pork, it can't be pure!

I assumed it wouldn't be much, but how wrong I was. The food is amazing; the sushi, meat, wok, and the buffet were really top-notch!

Last Wednesday, we dined at Malakka. The service was excellent and the food tasted delicious. Unfortunately, 2 out of 5 people woke up the next day with stomach pain and had to vomit; whether this was caused by the food itself or a sensitive stomach, we dare not say…….

Service was top-notch! The food was delicious and the atmosphere cozy. The only thing is, the air conditioning could have been a bit quieter; it was quite chilly. But honestly: a top-notch restaurant! The restroom was also very clean and luxuriously furnished. Definitely recommended!

Update 05-02-2020: 2 points off!! It was noticeable again (and now it was becoming annoying) that we were more or less timed when we arrived, 10 minutes before 5.... We were told we were NOT allowed to start, and if we did, it would cost us half an hour.... a bit strange! A very nice waitress came to tell us for 5 minutes that we could start, to which we reacted with surprise, but oh well! Once we went to the buffet, we were closely watched by the aforementioned lady, very annoying! EXACTLY 2.5 hours later, a waitress came to us to tell us our time was up, and we briefly complained about the inhospitable customer experience. She clearly agreed, but she was just being directed, of course. When we paid, we got a fake smile from presumably the owner, no tip given, and the last 5 cents of change were also taken. Stop this, Malacca! Be hospitable, customer-friendly, and the rest... Your customers are your reason for being, don't forget that! It's not the chefs' or the staff's fault; it's the management's fault!

Unfortunately, this restaurant has gone downhill badly. As for the food, you risk getting a stomach ache and spending time on the toilet the next day, and to top it all off, the service is very rude, no manners, but the only thing that matters is asking for money; asking for help is simply 0.0. I do not recommend this restaurant.

A nice eatery for groups, colleagues, and so on. With family, I prefer to go to a traditional restaurant. It's self-service here.

The food here is always good. The staff are friendly and respectful; they consider your dietary needs and explain everything clearly. The food is really delicious, especially the roasted chicken.

Love the food, all you can eat (2 hours aprox, and more). It is necessary to make a reservation. Close to Feyenoord stadium, Cinema and other places to have a good time. A metro line pass by.

The only drawback for non-fish lovers is that the fish and meat are grilled together, so your meat can acquire a fishy flavor. Otherwise, definitely recommended!

Most food are cold, a lot of children screaming and running around. Food isnt that bad but the taste is dry/missing. 37 per person is a too much for the quality i have been suffering. 2.5/10 wouldnt come again

Excellent food, drinks included, except spirits, plenty on offer. Staff friendly. Point of improvement: Friend is allergic to shellfish but there was no indication anywhere with the dishes. Well, whether it was pork or beef, that is... All in all we had a great evening!

Little choice, cold food and not enough walking space, so you keep bumping into people

Went here with a group of 15+ collegues. The restaurant is easy reachable with public transportation, otherwise it's paid parking. The restaurant is 1 open space with easy acces to the food. Tables have enough space to move along without disturbing others. The buffet is divers, but sadly most was not labeled. This made it difficult to choose what to eat. The grill/wok area was a bit confusing: across the area you'll find the vegetables and some meat/fish. For me some meat could have used a bit more seasoning. The service was a bit distant, but friendly. When going to the toilet watch your step: the tiles on the floor are a bit slipery!

This is much better than the Watertuin. I booked the all in (including drinks). Restaurant is not that big which makes the atmosphere very pleasant. Food is good, sushi regular, but the grill you have variety of good meat (no cheap meat what you do have these days in the Watertuin). Drinks are good and you can take it yourself. Alcoholic drinks is served at the bar. But they serve very substandard cheap wine 👎

Well, an all you can eat restaurant. The service was quick to clear away. Only there were only 2 chefs present. Which meant you had to wait a long time for the grill or wok. But for the rest, you know good food there

Excellent and cozy restaurant, much smaller than the average Wok. Food is good, tasty and looks fresh. Very good (also fried) sushi. There is actually plenty of choice, less than the big food stores, but certainly more than enough.

I didn't really like the food myself. But it was edible. Atmosphere is good, it can be busy.

Well, what can I say. I was here by invitation, so that is something different than if I would choose this all-inclusive concept myself. The disadvantage of this is that you cannot sit comfortably at the table/be served at the same time and that is my preference. Anyway, you shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth. The advantage is that you pay in advance and everything is included, including drinks. The choice is huge and it must be said that the quality from starter to dessert is undoubtedly good. The option of having meat or fish fried or stir-fried on the plate is also a good addition. Something for everyone! The staff is polite and friendly and there is sufficient clearing. The atmosphere is good, but of course it is very restless with all those people walking past the buffets. But you know that with this concept. All in all, definitely recommended for people who appreciate this concept.

Good food buffet style. Excellent place for a buffet dinner in combination with going to see a Football match in the Feyenoord stadium, which is within walking distance. Of course this is a buffet restaurant and in that category this scores 5 stars.

We have made a reservation and after driving for a while we arrive on time and are told that you have not made a reservation and everything is full. 8 people and everything was clearly communicated on the phone. We are then offered a table of 6 and the other 2 of our party eating alone on the other side of the restaurant. Then after getting angry she comes up with a half solution to sit with the 8th of us at a 6 person table and move the table to the aisle 🤦🏻‍♂️ food was good but making a reservation and offering an apology is still a big task here. This concerns the woman behind the cash register. (Chef/boss). Rest of the staff very friendly. It's just that our group wanted to stir-fry, but if it were up to me you would get a big middle finger in your flat face and I would be gone.

Wasn't our first time eating here. Now a bit busier/more noisy than last time. Is kind of inherent to all-you-can-eat businesses and to the location. Staff is friendly, and sometimes a little too diligent to take your plate/glass when it is just empty. Could have been a little less diligent. The food is good, enough choice in any case. A wok and a grill plate are what you have to make do with. In our case a minimal waiting time, but that was not disturbing. Furthermore, plenty of choice at the buffet. Not a super big place, but enough space. And yes, parking nearby in the city is pricey, but you know that in advance. Close to the cinema and that is also nice. \ We had a good meal for a fair price.

Chicken that smelled very sour and didn't smell or taste good after grilling (it was only a small piece) was really not tasty so I put it aside and an employee immediately told me I had to pay because I didn't notice it. I did indicate that it smelled sour and was no longer good and therefore not tasty, I went to the manager and explained that he did not understand anything and was not friendly, I find them very unfriendly and the chicken was really no longer good, once and never again!

Vriendelijk personeel, leuke sfeer, hygiënisch, goede diverse keuze in gerechten, alles word tijdig bijgevuld, je grijpt nooit mis, goede parkeer gelegenheid(parkeren op de parkeer plaatsen bij de kuip zelf).

Na het eten opeens heel erg misselijk. Dus alles kwam er snel weeer uit. Ze doen niks als er onbeschofte mensen zitten.

Het is er echt gezellig, en het eten is er prima, de zaak zelf mag wel een keer zo groot worden en de keuken mag ook wel wat groter. Één klein minpuntje dat is de ingang voor de mensen in een rolstoel erg moeilijk om er binnen tekomen. Het eten is er geweldig vooral voor mensen die van eten houden en het personeel haalt de borden direct weg,je kan in 2 uur eten wat je wilt en drinken, voor mijn is het voor herhaling vatbaar, dit is een goeie plaats voor mensen die kunnen bunkeren,een fijne zaak om er te eten,reserveren van tevoren is wel gewenst, bediening dat moet je zelf doen.

Prima eten, dit is natuurlijk geen top restaurant maar wel een gewoon goed familie restaurant met een buffet waar je zelf kan kiezen uit diverse gerechten.

All you can eat. Eten is goed en er is veel. Ook frisdrank en koffie zijn bij de prijs inbegrepen. Sterke drank en cocktails moeten apart afgerekend worden want er hangen prijslijsten hiervoor. Bier weet ik niet want ik drink geen alcohol. IJs was zelfs heel erg lekker. Voor de toetjes is dit helemaal top. Verder geen hoogvlieger qua bediening. Self service, maar schoon en vriendelijk. Restaurant heeft lijkt het wel een hoog tokkie en bedrijfsuitjes publiek. Maar je komt hier om tantoe veel tjappie te bunkeren en niet om protserig te doen of je verstand hebt van wijn. Deze toko gaat op ons lijstje "hier gaan we vaker heen".

Om heel eerlijk te zijn; Heel goed eten voor een zeer prima prijs. Het is een all you can eat restaurant, waarbij je zeer unieke combinaties kunt maken, maar ook gewoon normaal je bord kunt vullen. Zonder dollen, erg lekker eten, fijne service, goede prijs p.p. en een redelijke sfeer. Zit ook goed centraal in een gebied waar veel te doen is. Zekere aanrader.
