Arzu West in Delfshaven

We came from D3n, saw Bosch on Instagram and we wanted to sit down. When we arrived we changed our minds. Didn't look very tidy and no one helped us properly. So I went and bought something so I wouldn't leave empty handed. Sweets were ok but coffee was so bad and very little. It was really a very strong coffee and I had to pay 3.50 euros for those two sips. I thought that was such a shame.

Really good coffee, but couldn't eat anything because no gluten-free options :( having gluten-free bread in the freezer is easy solutions for this! We ended up going for lunch elsewhere

Turkish breakfast was nice. Their coffee was nice. The place was very cute too

The food is fine, but not very special. You have to order at the bar, and for what you get, I think it's on the expensive side.

we enjoyed the breakfast we had. the dishes filled our bellys blenty. i can totally recommend both dishes, the banoffee pancake is more of a fruity taste and the nutella pancake with strawberrys well.. is just a really chocolatey and sweet favour (which i always enjoy) my girlfriend did find both dishes a bit too sweet, still she enjoyed it plenty. the service was fast, nice and friendly

Fluffly vegan pancakes were very good, not ordinary pancakes that you can eat everywhere. Homemade caramel was delicious. Last time I had eggs and they were cooked perfectly, the bread was delicious. Friendly service and nice background music!

This dessert, inspired by Turkish products, made in Rotterdam, was amazing. Its name is also very nice, Kunafa Toast.

The food was very tasty alone the pancakes a little bit on the dry side. For the rest, super tasty and nice to come here.

Awesome place to enjoy some delicious savoury pancakes. Every time I visit Rotterdam, I make my way here. Love the breakfast, ambiance and food.

This meal was so good and so filling. Towards the end I had to fight to finish it all, but would do it again. The food I had btw was the taster plate or something like that and had a bread with tuna salad, a bit of yoghurt, some fruit and 2 big pancakes with caramel on it.

I'm going to be super honest. The atmosphere was okay at best and so was the service. The pancakes were not good...they were pretty awful actually. Didn't taste like anything and also pretty dense. The people that say these are the best pancakes...have no idea what good pancakes actually are and I feel sorry for them. To the owner, please work on that pancake recipe because it needs work. The gingerbreeze was tasty.

The food is good, especially those thick and cakey pancakes. Please note that there is no table service at this place. I wish they did service because it’s quite annoying when you sit upstairs and want to order, you have to get up yourself and walk to the bar to order. If you want additional drinks, you also have to go to the bar, the staff doesn’t take orders when they’re at your table. Also food comes a bit slow, be ready to wait 30 minutes. Overall good food, but lack of service quality. Always have to get up 🙄

Delicious sweet and savory breakfast and lunch, every time! We often come to Arzu and their pancakes, bars and delicious coffee continue to delight us time and time again. This time we came for the kunafah special! Absolutely recommended, hopefully not only available temporarily?! With angel hair, pistachio and delicious ice cream! Arzu West also has a nice play corner, so feel free to come with the kids. Parking is sometimes difficult on the street, but if you have a space, there is a reduced rate due to the stop & shop policy. Long story short, go!

Cosy place on the main street outside the city center so not very crowded. Variety of breakfast options. Fast service.

The kids pancakes were so delicious on my first visit that I ordered them on my second visit as well, but I was a little confused because they came out in a completely different shape. The pancakes were very thick, but only powdered sugar was sprinkled on top, so they were very dry. It would have been okay if they had just sprinkled some syrup on it, but it was disappointing. I asked the staff why they were different, but the answer was that the machines used were different... Then I think they shouldn't have the same menu.

Two stars purely for the nice staff and nice tent. I give the food 2 stars. I had egg toast, on which a piece of salmon was completely spoiled brown/green. It was covered in egg, so normally you wouldn't see it. But because I didn't want the salmon on it anymore, I saw it. Weird that they didn't take this off. The pancakes were tasty and the service was good too! Oh and if you sit outside you will enjoy a strong 🌿 smell from the shop next door, not recommended 😅

I paid €10.80 for a small Americano and a "large" orange juice. So I wondered why a "large" gravy costs so much! Because is the most expensive gravy in town. Is it organic? No . The employee said that I should go to her boss for such questions!! Nowhere in the entire city is it this expensive. Others sell such a "large" organic gravy for only 4.50, 4.80 or 5.50 for only 7€, come on. And I won't get started on how bad the coffee is. If you ask for more than the main prize, there must be a reason for it.

I had pretty harsh and negative feedback about Arzu West two years ago - I’m always glad to be proven wrong, and it’s a pleasure to say that it has become so much better since! I especially enjoy that their menu is very broad, and there are many choices for everyone. My absolute go-to is an Eggie French Toast, which is fantastic! The Em’s Toast is also quite good, but perhaps not my first choice. I tried savoury pancakes Savor Atom, too, but the pancakes didn’t taste or look like the American pancakes we’re used to. So I can’t, unfortunately, recommend them. Still, it’s also great that they have authentic Turkish options like cilbir and sahlep. The place is laptop-friendly and quite spacious, too!

A cozy brunch place on the Main Street. The food here is really good. Would recommend the pancakes and cilbir. The day we visited there was work going on the top floor of the next house so that was a little disturbing. Would still recommend this place for brunch!

Beautiful, spacious place with plenty of seating and an open kitchen. Delicious carrot cake pancakes. Afterwards I bought a box of delicious brownies. This business is truly an asset. Good, attentive service too. Recommended!

Bij Arzu west geweest, was echt heel lekker ! Een grote nadeel was dat honden toegestaan zijn. Hondje hing eerst aan iedereens been super smerig, en vervolgens ging hij aan tafel zitten. Echt een no go..

The staff is very friendly and prompt, cozy atmosphere and decor, and food and drinks are exceptional. Portions are big and prices are accesible. Definitely recommend.

Mijn familie had mij deze overheerlijke chocoladewerkjes opgestuurd, een zeer aangename verrassing om mee thuis te komen. Echt om je vingers bij op te likken, de blueberry vanilla is echt een aanrader 😍

amazing and creative food choices, coffee is also good but very small portions (especially for iced coffee). the place is not super crowded so I guess it would be not very hard to take orders from the table instead of the customers going to the staff, but overall everything is nice and cozy!

Supergezellige zaak in Rotterdam West! Heerlijke koffie, sapjes en eten! Binnen en buiten zitten. Echt een aanrader!

Gezellige koffietent, vriendelijk personeel en redelijk voordelig.

Net voor het eerst hier een espresso gedronken. De espresso is lekker en kreeg er een glas water bij met een lekker stukje zelfgemaakte chocolade. Het is leuk ingericht en het personeel achter de toonbank en ik de keuken is vriendelijk. Ik kom zeker nog eens terug om hier te eten. Leuk om eens langs te gaan!

Sehr freundliches Personal u. ein wirklich wunderbares Frühstück mit köstlichem Kaffee!!! Weiter so! :-)

Leuke tent, maar jammer genoeg komt er veel lawaai uit de keuken. Je moet ook eerst zitten, de menu bekijken en weer naar de kassa om te bestellen, als je boven zit is dat onhandig. Een broodje avocado en een broodje tonijsalade besteld. Broodje avocado had wel meer andacht mogen krijgen. Er zat alleen meer tomaat en rucola op. Misschien wat olijfolie, nootjes of een beetje kaas erop had het iets specialer gemaakt. De tonijnsalade was lekker. De ster vans ons etentje was de pannenkoek. Heerlijk huisgemaakte karamel en lekkere foam ernaast. Koffie was ook goed.

Erg aardig personeel, werd goed geholpen door het keuken personeel en de bediening.

Leuke zaak met een interessante kaart voor koffie en koek, en nog veel meer. Aan de straatzijde kun je aan een tafeltje (op een gammele bank) lekker zitten en de drukte van de straat observeren, maar je kunt ook door de zaak heen aar de binnentuin waar je in alle rust wat kunt eten/drinken.

Dit was zo'n leuke zaak! Helaas is er nog weinig van over. De waanzinnige kaart die ze hadden heeft plaats gemaakt voor mwah mwah eten. Ongeinteresseerd en onverzorgd personeel, waarvan een van de dames continue aan haar dreads zit te frunniken (niet fris), niet weet naar welke tafel welk eten moet, doodleuk even het bestek staat te herorganiseren op een tafel naast ons die ze aan het uitruimen is, dusdanig hardhandig dat we ons in de spoelkeuken wanen en ons gesprek moesten staken. Helaas de laatste keer voor ons na deze ervaring. Hopelijk wordt deze review gezien door management er wordt er wat mee gedaan. Jullie zaak was zó leuk.

Handig eettentje maar niet flexibel. Een ontbijt met 3 eieren is niet aan te passen naar 1 of 2 eieren. Jammer, dus alleen maar koffie en ergens anders een croissant

Amazing place for brunches and to have a sip of good coffee. I loved diversity of pancakes, didn’t know what to choose, so took this set, recommended 💪🏼 They do here also handmade chocolate, it’s really good, you should definitely try it out😌

Fijne plek met erg lekker eten!

Fijne plek met goeie koffie. Heerlijke zoetigheden met veel variëteit. Bonus voor jonge ouders, achterin is er een speelhoek met een bank waar je neer kan ploffen. Voorleesboekjes, autotjes, en meer om je kleine bezig te houden terwijl je zelf kan ontspannen.

Hoewel bij mij om de hoek, was ik er vandaag voor het eerst. Als liefhebber van hartig, toch gegaan voor pannenkoekjes met banaan. En mijn man nam die met rood fruit. Het was de gok absoluut waard! Heerlijk. Vriendelijk personeel en goeie sfeer ook in de zaak.

Arzu West, wat een gezellige zaak aan een gezellig pleintje. Ik dronk een heerlijke koffie en bestelde de zalm pancakes, en ze waren heerlijk! Arzu zelf is erg gezellig en het personeel vriendelijk. Ik kom zeker terug om wat anders van de kaart en de bars te proeven👌🏼.

Cilbir is eggs with yogurt that is simply unique and delicious. Must have here. Shakshuka is not too bad. The right quantity of tomato with eggs. Pancakes are super rich. Can barely get past 1 between 2 people. Coffees can be served with a shot of caramel that make them super tasty. The best part, all coffee comes served with Turkish nougat. Second best part. There is a kids section at the end that is a life saver if you have a toddler with you.

De shakshuka was lekker, maar de sunny side up eggs zijn absoluut geen aanrader. De dooiers waren hardgekookt en je betaalt 3 euro extra voor een halve avocado (die ook nog eens deels rot was). Toen we dit aangaven was het antwoord dat we de volgende keer zelf konden aangeven hoe we onze eieren wilden hebben.

If you are in the market for pancakes these are the best in Rotterdam. They were light yet filling and the yogurt and açai bowls were great too. Wonderful stuff who were friendly and polite.
